I don't really utilize shoprunner too much anymore. There selection of stores has dwindled and some of the stores now require a minimum purchase. I believe it's because many more stores are offering their own promo codes for discount shipping. And now with Covid-19, it is harder for most stores to offer free 2 day shipping.
I have been a member of shoprunner for a few years now and due to my use of this service, I have 1). Saved hundreds on 2 day shipping costs and 2). Have not had to pay for it due to my usage. Although it is true that they have a limited number of merchants to use the service with, there are a few popular sites; American Eagle, Drugstore.com, macmall, Ebags. You can get a free 30 day trial and hopefully they will continue to add more merchants. Happy Shopping.
Ok, if I wasn't getting this service FREE with my Amex, I would be pretty upset. I have used it many times and the "two day shipping" is never less than FOUR business days. Not just two business days, but usually four or five! Plus, now I notice that some stores have a $25 minimum before Shoprunner is free! Outrageous. If you have to pay for this service, save your $$. It is totally not worth it. They really should change their policies and not be promising two day shipping. It NEVER works out to two days! Perhaps they are using donkeys to ferry packages instead of planes and trucks? Not sure, but the only thing I would do is to RUN from Shoprunner and not use it in the future for packages you want shipped immediately!
In the past I have always used shoprunner for online purchases. They were dependable and pkgs always arrived in 2 days.
However, last few months has not been worth it. They are using USPS as their delivery service. When pkgs are 'on time' they take 5 or more days-- far short of their 2 days promise. And often they are far later. A pkg due today is now saying running late (via usps tracking)-- no further info... just late.
When this has happened in past pkgs have been as much as 10 days late.
Horrible customer service and false advertising! I ordered a pair of shoes Friday granted its Black Friday I understand it prob wont be able to be shipped until Monday afternoon noon at least! It wasnt until December 2 they finally ship my package. Wtf a week later! At of all my items purchased on other websites on Black Friday everything has arrived. Estimated delivery for my shop runner package Wednesday December 6th. Shop runner is a joke.
Don't bother with this company. I had to call twice to get a free return ship label emailed and they said that it was sent. Nothing was sent even though they said on their end it was sent? Lol Just like the other reviewers mentioned... all a scam.
Apparently 2 Day shipping means "up to 48 hours processing your order" and then "about 2 days to ship" which actually means you'll get your package 5-6 days after you place an order. Extremely false advertising and very immoral

I was using Shoprunner consistently until two Saks orders I returned never got tracked or credited. I am now out $1,800 in lost orders with no way to verify that I actually returned the merchandise. I will never use this service again.
Hi Patrice G. I am sorry for any concern this issue may have caused you. If you used either a ShopRunner return label or the retailer's own return label, you can have the returns tracked via UPS. Simply provide UPS with the tracking number and they should be able to advise you regarding the whereabouts of your packages. If there is not tracking information available, please take the tracking number and receipt for your return to the UPS facility that shipped your product. They should be able to assist you with this information. Thank you.
On occasion they will back up their claims of sending items with in two days. Unfortunately half of the time that I have used them, the shipping arrives at standard mailing rates, which has caused me to miss deadlines. If you have something that is time sensitive, ShopRunner is a bonafide disappointment. What's worse, is that they offer nothing as a recourse; no discounts for membership, no extended membership, nothing, giving as an excuse other circumstances as the probable reason for the delays. Yet they still expect you to pay (after the trial membership) for services they fail to render. STAY AWAY!

Customer service knows about as much as we do. Two day shipping turns into four day shipping. There is no excuse. Ahh. They use crappy FEDEX. Amazon Prime = Two days. Shopprunner = when they feel like it

They refuse to give customers return labels in the original mailing package. Customer service said to reach out to a friend of ho pay to print the return label when I requested one to be sent to me. This is unacceptable. I should not have to pay to print a return label. It should be included in the package. This item in question must be returned by mail only and cannot be returned to the store.
Answer: I'm not sure I'm right but I think it's mostly because not too many stores can guarantee 2 day shipping anymore and it's cheaper for them to ship standard shipping.

Most retailers have a cut-off time for shipping an order on the same date it was placed. Unless there was some type of order processing delay, the order should ship the same or next business day.
