I don't understand the poor reviews. I have used this site for holiday photo cards now for two years after multiple disappointments using Minted and Tiny Prints as well as other sites over the years. The site is easy to use, the photo and card quality have been excellent and the company provides a personalized thank you with the order. The New York Times and Wall Street Journal have both rated Simply to Impress as the top photo card company for the last couple of years. I am a very satisfied customer and will continue to use Simply to Impress for all my photo card needs as well as recommend the site to others.
Do not order from this company. I created family NY cards with this company and paid extra for addressed envelopes. When I received the envelopes, all the addresses were crooked and looked terrible. I paid for this service, and it is inherently a printing company so I expect perfection? What kind of printing company cannot print straight?
On top of that, it took me about 1 hour and 10 minutes to get this issue resolved (via phone, chat, and email). When I complained they took forever to correct the mistake and reprint and did not offer faster shipping so my cards will go out 8 days after intended date. The only thing they offered me was a 10% discount? TEN PERCENT WTF. I emailed the email address that was given on the responses on this site and have not heard back.
This company does not take responsibility for its screw ups. Do not trust it. By not addressing these concerns promptly it shows that the commitment to customer satisfaction and uphold the professional standards that customers expect from your company is LACKING.
I hesitated to complete my order for our daughter's graduation announcements because of the poor reviews posted on this website. However, I couldn't find a design as nice or easily customized, so I took a chance. I'm so glad I did! I ordered the announcements on Thursday, received a proof for review on Friday, and much to my surprise, my order was delivered today. The announcements arrived in a pretty package, and they are perfect. Based on this experience, I highly recommend Simply to Impress!
I have used Simply to Impress for several years now for my Christmas cards and bought stationary for gifts. I love, love, love this company. The cards/stationary are always so professionally done and I get compliments on them every year. Affordable and professional. I will continue to use you. Thank you!
I placed my Christmas card order for 200 cards online late at night. The next morning I got an email that offered free shipping for return customers so I texted my request to get credit for the $8+ shipping charge. I was sure that this was not going to be a problem. THEY REFUSED! In my experience, when a company can't afford to refund $8, it goes out of business soon. They can't afford to miss out on $8. Customer beware. They are on the brink of going out of business. Wish I had read these other bad reviews of their customer service before I had ordered.
We were late in the game on ordering grad announcements. We ordered on a Sunday night and had them in our mailbox by Thursday morning! They look fantastic, and they even included a few extra!
We will recommend for others!
The worst quality cards I've ever received. Blurry, dark & gold foil was cut off. I regret not using a more reputable company & ended up ordering from Shutterfly since I couldn't send out the horrible quality ones from Simply to Impress. I couldn't get a reprint or money back after speaking with 10 people. They waited a week to respond to my initial request, hoping that it would go away. They also promised a refund after I argued with them multiple times but I have yet to receive it. STAY AWAY from this subpar business. Please don't give them your money. You will be so disappointed.
Order Business holiday cards on December 13,2020 and today is December 23,2020 and I still have not received them. I have called the company and can't get any response. I text them through their website and there is a long wait for over hour. I guess they are a scam. They take orders they can't complete. I would highly recommend that you do not order from this company. WWW.Simpletoimpress.com as they do not take responsibility for their shipping issues. They could have rerun my order and shipped them overnight through FEDEX or UPS. However, they just said sorry and blame USPS.
I ordered my cards Dec 8, printing labeled printed Dec 12, expected to received Dec 18. Now Dec 21 and no cards. Not sure what to do. I'll give one more day and then give up and cancel credit card payment.
I had the worst experience with this company. I just had my Christmas cards printed out with a professional picture that we took for a photo shoot. The cards they sent had my kids eyes black and teeth. I emailed and called multiple times. They took so long to get back to me I had to order cards from somewhere else. When they did get back to me they kept asking for pictures of the cards as if I was lying. I had to send them pictures 3 times and now they say I can't get my money back until I mail them all the cards back. This place is a joke! Never order from them!
Ordered 10 cards for xmas, they are as seen on the photos, packaging all re-cycleable in fact the boxes are so pretty i intend to reuse for homemade sweets.
Very prompt too, in fact i would love to use for future BIRTHDAY cards, etc.
Thank you kindly folks and a Happy Christmas. To one and all. X
They advertised free shipping on their website, I've applied the code and they continued to charge me shipping even for Standard Shipping. I have spoken to a Simply to Impress chat representative, and they followed up by saying they will honor the promo code and they will return my shipping funds. However, I had to order first.
I ordered, and when I went back to receive my money for shipping, they went back on their word. I have snapshots of the conversation showing proof, and they still do not honor it.
I will not be dealing with them again due to their unprofessionalism.
The cards I ordered were in memory of a deceased family member. The cards were ordered "overnight". The cards didn't arrive when expected. I called Simply To Impress. They said there was a "delay". The tracking (UPS) continued to say a label was made but that they "did not have the package". I called again the next day, and after a long wait, when I finally spoke to someone, they just said "there's a delay". And I was put on hold for 15 minutes. I gave up. I called again the next day (now the cards are 3 days late) and they say again that there is a delay. Now they say they can send a replacement but I won't get them for 5-6 days. I got a refund. I don't have another option this late now to get cards made in time. To say this was upsetting is pure understatement. Do NOT use Simply To Impress. They not only are unimpressive, they do not even bother making sure you get your order.
I ordered a banner for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary from this joke of a business. Because of the pandemic we had to cancel all out original party plans and wanted to do something special and decorate their house. I ordered a banner two weeks in advance and paid for expedited shipping. Here it is two days before the party and no banner and no shipping date. Tried several times to reach them by email and no response but I finally got through today on a chat and requested to cancel my order. There was no apology, no nothing. Just said my order would be canceled. I'm sure they filter all their reviews because there is no way they actually have a 4.9 star rating or whatever it says on their website. This place is crap. Thanks for ruining my parent's 50th anniversary.
I ordered my cards in early Dec. Based on the timeline they gave me they would have arrived on Dec. 16th.
It is 12/28 and no cards in site! I wouldn't be as upset if I waited until the last minute, but after reaching out to their customer service department I have not heard back and it's been over a week. A heads up would have been nice and I would have gone with another vendor. Tracking hasn't been updated. Essentially my 100+$ worth of cards are nowhere to be found. I have used simply to impress the last 3 years and will NOT be using them again. I understand the mail is messed up, but no follow up for customer service or even a separate communication on how behind things were is really a disgrace.
Every year I use this company for various reasons! I like to do a year in review. I like the fact that I can put captions under my photos to let people know where I traveled, who is in the photos, etc…I also like the fact that I can do a "sample" card to correct any mistakes I make. Also: the packaging is professional!

Ordered my Christmas cards and they were what I expected and came in time... however the glue on the envelopes didn't stick. I had to use a glue stick on all 250 cards. Huge pain. It took writing three emails to get a reply and when I did they apologized and said they issued an $8 refund. The original order was $396 so that's a slap in the face. In addition, I never received the refund! They said I have to contact my financial institution to get the credit. Sooo not worth my time... Will never order from them again.
Paid high quality expensive cards. Received cards on Friday (3 days late!) and... our family image was sooooo dark and gloomy, that all four of us became looking like a different family with dark faces!
Our original photo was bright, with a blue sky and Caucasian faces, but instead we became African-American family ( with all respect to them).
Tried to call them, 1h15min hold and I had to hang up.
Never use this company!
I had the worst experience using this company. I placed an order for Christmas cards on December 8th, paid for expedited shipping and still did not have the order by the 15th. After being on hold for 36 minutes, customer service was terrible! They blamed the post office, when come to find out, the company never sent my cards out. The customer service rep's recommendation to me was to order new cards from somewhere local so I could maybe still get them out in time. Such a waste of time and no cards to show for.
Ordered Christmas cards arrived on time, December 6 cards are very dark and its been 9 days and no one has addressed the issue. I call and the managers are always on the phone and customer service can not make a decision. I will not use them again it has been very stressful and they will not put a supervisor on the phone because they are always busy. Customer service is not able to expeditate that time is of the essence. It has been stressful using them this year.
Answer: I agree. It's a gamble. The first 2 years I loved the cards. This past year the card did not print well for some reason. If you need customer service to help you, it's a huge issue. I am sending back the cards and I used another company. I hope I get my refund with no issue. If I don't, I will just have to contact my credit card company which has had great customer service.
Answer: It's easy. You just won't get the result you may want, like sending cards to friends and family which inthr resin you used them.
