Skip is great when things go well yesterday they delivered my food to the wrong adress. They sent me a $23 refund on a $60 order and said they understand my frustration. If you can't afford to lose your order and the cost of it once in a while don't use them I can't enclose proof of order because I didn't receive it. I just paid for it on my account
I'm never disappointed with my selection from SunBeam. Always fresh and hot when it arrives. My favourite is their Fresh Soup, Smoked Salmon, tuna sandwiches, burgers, and their egg breakfasts.
Beware of this driver. He has a long history of stealing foods and not delivering them. His name is Thanh
We did do our dilligence when ordering but something went astray. Our placed order was not what we got. Rather than complain we ate what we received... will no order from them again.
The upcharge the menu items, the charge a service fee for ordering from them then the delivery fee then the tip and then when you spend $27.00 on a waffle breakfast that the restaurant would have delivered for $22.00 before skip the dishes they deliver it to the wrong address. Every Sunday. I then am offered a skip credit refund of exactly $27.00 for repeated bad customer service. Seriously this company is the biggest scam ever and after making all of that money they can't even offer a complimentary couple bucks for a coffee for the inconvenience.
If I can give 0 star I would, customer service is worst to talk too they don't treat their customer.
I placed an order for burger King and I never received it. They are saying that it was delivered and I have security cameras and my dogs would have barked. I contacted them on the same day and I was told that I would get a refund and I never got my refund. And now they are saying that they are so sorry for screwing me out of my money
I received someone's chicken wings today. When I contacted support, I was told.
" Leave the order outside, in case a neighbor comes looking for it"
Really... so, how is it the person who ordered it, going to know, to go looking for their order at my house? Not only that, but covid is something to think about too! HORRIBLE SERVICE. I've had food stolen from me, chefs deliver food to me because drivers are too lazy, and had drivers sit for up to 2 hours in the same spot not moving. During that specific time I ordered 2 McDonald's burgers. Would have rather walked to and from McDonald's faster instead of dealing with this annoying and wasteful service. Drivers are careless and unqualified for the job and Skip really don't care.
I ordered today and after one hour I msg'd the Skip rep and was given the option to cancel my order which I did as it was obvious that it would take at least another hour at which point my sushi would not be so fresh. I am thankful for the prompt refund. I feel VERY sad that the restaurant is the one that suffered. I will not be using this service going forward and have deleted the app. I am sure that this is contributing to a lot of dissatisfied customers and a great deal of FOOD WASTE! In order to provide the customer service bragged about in multiple commercials perhaps some $$$ should be allocated to providing top quality delivery instead of advertising.
They are absolutely horrible! I tried ordering from their online service only to have a message indicating there was something wrong with the order; I was instructed to revisit the order for fixing the order. I kept getting messages at checkout indicating some things have changed in my order and that I should examine it (I'm not sure what this possibly could be). The only option was to 'dismiss'; I couldn't review the order.
I tried at several pizzerias and received the same message. I finally gave up and successfully ordered via Doordash.
I subsequently emailed their support team to indicate what had happened and they responded by asking me for the order number. I emailed them that an order was NEVER registered because the system would not allow me to put through the order. For whatever reason, their brains couldn't register this simple explanation and kept coming back with the same response i. E. provide them with an order number. I repeated my self several times about why I couldn't provide an order number, however, it was to no avail.
I'm going to continue ordering with DoorDash due to the ineptness of Skip The Dishes.
Skip has been a terrible food service app. I have gotten my food stolen 3 times with no refund and today i received a pizza that was stuck to the box and they wouldn't even give me half of what i spent and i even tipped... oh and i have the receipts take a look at the pics. I'm sick of this company getting away with robbing ppls money. The nerve of them to offer $5 when the pizza is stuck to the box.
We ordered from EDO Japan Namao. The restaurant prepared the order. The skip driver canceled the order. Why-how-NO idea. The restaurant tried to get another driver from skip with no success. We paid 15% advance tip to a driver who never showed. We ended up picking up the order ourselves. Will never pay an advance tip again. How to get a refund for the SKIP fees and driver tip? No clue. The skip website has no leads. Feel absolutely cheated. Shame. Trying to support local and feel cheated.
I work from home and when a 23-minute order turns into over an hour, this is unfair to me and my employer, especially when the foods are perishable.
Skip the dishes should be prosecuted under Alberta's law for paying its drivers below minimum wage. Look at the following pictures how skip the dishes pay it's drivers. Unbelievable! It is really unfair for skip the dishes to pay their drivers 5 dollars for 12 km trip while gas prices are on the roof.
I noticed my driver never moved for almost 1 hr. I contacted customer service to see where my food is at and if driver is okay. Long story short they said 1.5 hr delivery is fine and then ended chat. No refund. Wtf! Ontop of that, paid for overpriced food, more expensive than restaurant actually charges.
I used skip the dishes for the first time last night. I had a horrible experience. My delivery driver MD. Decided to stop off with my food somewhere for over 20 mins. I proceeded to complain to skip. After waiting 10 more minutes I decided to cancel my order. Skip refused to cancel my order. Then the delivery arrived (after I assume was a hurry up from skip) my food was cold and nasty. I had already requested a refund because I knew the food was going to be terrible at this point. So after complaining again, skip decided to give me $32 of my $83 order backā¦. In skip credits! As if I'm gonna patronize your service again after a Horrible first experience and an unwillingness to make it right be the company. My issue is not with the company directly or the restaurant I ordered from. I'm sure when fresh, the food might have been good. But the delivery people skip chooses to employ. I might add that I pre tipped the driver more than the minimum, and this is the return in service I get. So at 10:30 at night I had to make other dinner arrangements.
Tonight I ordered from skip and the order I received from them had an item that was incorrect. I requested a refund just on the one item and was declined. I order skip atleast 5 times a week... needless to say I deleted the app immediately. I refuse to spend my hard earned money on a company with that type of service.

Sad that I ordered a pizza after not receiving any food so in total $25 Burger King are you in a paying $50 after ordering pizzanova but at least the old school delivery guy found my home and delivered it
Ordered food for my son who is at U of A hospital in Edmonton. He had 2nd surgery today and hadn't been able to eat. Igave clear instructions for them to call him when they arrived at the main entrance at 112th st so he could get nurse from intensive care to come down to get it as he cannot walk. Driver didn't wait for nurse. Left food outside and drove away. They called him and I put in a complaint on chat. Nurses went down 3 times, last time went to emergency and guess driver showed up there shortly after complaints were made and left food there. Emergency is no where near main entrance. Food was cold. Milkshake was melted. Customer service only apologized. Did nothing to make it right. I have no faith in them at all. So disappointing. Won't use them again.
