Their prices may be low, and so is the quality. The only way to get a decent bottle of wine is to upgrade to their hgher tier wines, and now your good deal is gone. I recently had ordered a case of 18, received only 17, and had to jump thru hoops to prove it. They had me take photos of all the wines and then only gave me 1/18 credit for the missing bottle, even though the missing bottle was a better quality wine. Also the fine print states that they may substitute wines, so what you ordered, you may not get. Although shipping is convenient, I'll go back to Total Wine and avoid the hassle for my next purchase.
I have been a great customer to Splash Wines. One of my all time Fav's. But when I ordered the wrong case and wanted assistance, they were not willing to assist and I got stuck with it. They would not credit me even a penny off of the one I had to keep nor a discount on buying a new one. NOTHING. I have bought cases and cases from them. I will be moving on to one of their competitors who has just as good of wine and packages.

In the shipment I received: none of the vine had more then 90 points rating, customer review 3.0 - 3.5 stars; there were some wines in plastic bottles, retail price for some wines were $2.99 and $4.99. You get better deal at Aldi store

You do have to be wary about the pricing you see listed online - not even we can buy some of these wines between $2.99 - $4.99, let alone after the cost to ship it directly to your door! Sites will list low pricing to drive clicks, only to find that the wine isn't actually available at that price. I got a Groupon so I decided to try them out. I was not impressed. The quality of these wines was so incredibly low. A few of them tasted like they'd been thinned out with water and had some kind of hard alcohol added (like the stuff they make hard seltzer from). A few others tasted old and past expiry. There was a weird aftertaste present in most all of the bottles that was just plain gross, and too similar to be a coincidence. I have tried many varieties of wine before and since and enjoyed them immensely, so I know there is nothing wrong with my palate.
Also the customer service is terrible.
Great prices but very slow to ship. Placed order 8 days ago still has not shipped. Be aware they charge restock fee before they will refund you. That about $22 dollars. A very unfair charge.
I have told them. I don't drink. Emails are coming steady to both of my 2 accounts. To think I am not even a customer and they wont listen to my wishes. Can you image after they had my money. Stop emails! I have use for your company!

15 bottles purchase with a Groupon cost about $89.00 with a flat shipping fee of $29.00. All the red wines taste the same, poor smell and taste, of course this explains it; it's splash wines you need to splash it in the bathroom to empty out all the bottles because you can't drink them.

Splash has changed my minds for buying wines online, It has now become my preferred source for wine purchases with the convenience of home delivery.
Looked at a Groupon for Splash Wine due to email. Clicked around trying to get details and ended up with a charge of $48 on PayPal. In order to get ANYTHING from Splash Wine. At that point, I'd have to pay $38 for shipping. Decided to cut my losses but did call to make sure they did not sign me up for a monthly subscription too. Customer service guy was an $#*!. Out of pocket $48 but glad I don't have to deal with Splash in the future. If you have to use sneaky tactics, then your not a stand up company.
They charge $40 on shipping. Purchased it from groupon. The 16 pack was advertised for $60, no information on shipping. When redeeming the voucher, Spash, charged $40 for shipping, which included taxes. It is crazy!

Ever since joining Splash Wines I have been pleasantly surprised. This is the first wine club I've joined that allows us a variety of wines to choose from that are brought in from all over the world. We love trying wines from different countries. Some we have liked, some not so much but it has really given us an opportunity to try wines from all over the world without paying an arm and leg for it. There was one time we got a case of mixed wines and we tried some wines from a country we had not a had a chance to sample wines from yet. When we opened the first bottle, we ended up pouring it out after taking a sip. It tasted as if it had bottle shock. We opened up a second bottle and the same thing. After trying the third bottle, the same thing. We called the company and they graciously sent us three more bottles of wine of something different since we weren't sure if we had received wine that had gone bad or if that particular wine was just not to our liking. I was really impressed with their customer service and the way they handled the situation. This is one of the many reasons we will be sticking with splash for many years to come.
As always another great experience. Everything arrives safely packaged right on my doorstep. I've been using Splashwines.com for several years now and could not be happier. Great selections and great prices. I would recommend them to anyone who loves convenience and great wine.
I have used this supplier for more than two years and have not been disappointed in its products or service. Early on I bought a wine from them that averaged about $10 a bottle. My local, national, store had it for $40.
Not sure where the negative reviews are coming from. I've ordered from Splash several times/year with very positive results. On the rare occasion a certain wine didn't appeal to me I contact Splash customer service and immediately get a credit. We mostly order Cabs, Malbec and Merlot and often give them as gifts. The selection of curated cases is great and shipping is fast with occasion rare delays. I would not hesitate to recommend an order from Splash. Deb M.
I really enjoyed the variety. The whites were a pleasant surprise as I am very picky about my white wines. I Prefer red and this selection did not disappoint. Great price for great wines!
I have ordered many cases of various wine and have been extremely pleased with my orders. My husband drinks Chardonney and Savigion Blanc. I've ordered each of these casesvand he's been happy. I drink red and have ordered cases of Malbec and Cab Sav. All have been good.
