Looked at a Groupon for Splash Wine due to email. Clicked around trying to get details and ended up with a charge of $48 on PayPal. In order to get ANYTHING from Splash Wine. At that point, I'd have to pay $38 for shipping. Decided to cut my losses but did call to make sure they did not sign me up for a monthly subscription too. Customer service guy was an $#*!. Out of pocket $48 but glad I don't have to deal with Splash in the future. If you have to use sneaky tactics, then your not a stand up company.
I bought a case of wine, as I have from many companies over the years, and these were the cheapest $2 screw cap wines, and tasted horrible. It's the first time I've ever felt completely ripped off when buying wine online. I got far less than what I paid for. They are scamming people left & right, and their customer service is horrible.
15 bottles purchase with a Groupon cost about $89.00 with a flat shipping fee of $29.00. All the red wines taste the same, poor smell and taste, of course this explains it; it's splash wines you need to splash it in the bathroom to empty out all the bottles because you can't drink them.
I have tried this company 2 times and I won't ever use them again. The customer service is terrible. The wine tastes awful and I waited almost 2 months to get my shipment the first time. I thought maybe it was just a bad time because of Covid so I thought I would try it again. It's now over a month since I placed my order and still nothing. I tried to contact customer service the same... nothing. They were sure quick to take my money though. Don't bother with this company.
There is no way to use their splash cash. The site is so annoying. I tried to support, but they seem to be aware of the issue, but offered no solution
Great value since where can I buy $5 bottle of wine. The higher price package are definitely better, but keep in mind the wine is 2019 vintage. The most expensive package has mix of older and younger wines and those are better tasting wines!
I have told them. I don't drink. Emails are coming steady to both of my 2 accounts. To think I am not even a customer and they wont listen to my wishes. Can you image after they had my money. Stop emails! I have use for your company!
I've been ordering from Splash for probably 4 years now & have only gotten 1 wine I disliked (and it just got turned into sangria!). I prefer Splash over other the other wine subscription companies because you're not defaulted in to a monthly or quarterly box - you simply order a box that looks good to you when you want it. They've always been quick to respond when I've had issues before too - like requesting a different shipper with a more convenient pickup location.
I've been using Splash Wines since 2016. My wife and I enjoy their wine so much, we finally got a subscription for red wines last year. We love the variety and have never had a bad bottle. I find myself getting excited around the first of the month because I want to see what new wines we'll be trying. (It's like a wino's Christmas) :). One time we received a few bottles of white wine in an order. I called customer service and they refunded the bottles on the spot, no questions asked. I highly recommend Splash to anyone who enjoys sampling a variety of new wines.
Living in Pennsylvania obtaining wine during the extremely long state store shutdown became a real challenge. A friend referred us to Splash Wines. Ordered several cases during the shutdown and received delivery within two weeks. Continued to order from them as the wine is good and certainly less costly than buying locally, and they deliver it right to the house!
Now I ordered on Sunday night and UPS was here with the delivery on Tuesday. It doesn't get much better than that. Everyone's taste in wine is different and some we find to be "Okay" while others we find to be "Outstanding." We keep track of what we really like and have ordered an entire case of one of those.
They have a terrific guarantee so if there is something you really don't like they will credit those bottles.
My husband and I are founding members of Splash Wines and have always been excited to receive our shipments. In all the orders we have only had one bottle of wine that we did not like and they immediately gave us a credit on our next shipment. There are real people to talk with if you do have a problem or a question. We never buy wines anywhere else since we became Splash customers. They are wonderful... and so are the wines!
I have been ordering from Splash wines for years. They have wines from all regions with great reviews and great prices. They have specials where you can just order a box of mixed wine and not worry about having bad one since you. Their delivery is super fast within a couple of days. Their packaging is really good as well. Highly recommend.
My wife and I drink Cab almost exclusively, so finding a wine club/subscription that doesn't have lots of wines we don't want was hard. I've now ordered the Premium Cab box 4 or 5 times, all of which we enjoy. Saves us money vs. buying wine locally, and we get better wines! When we tried a variety box, we had one wine we really didn't enjoy, but Splash quickly refunded us for those two bottles! Great customer service, and used the credit toward our next case. In total we've had the Premium Cabs, Memorial Day Vineyard Reds, Most Expensive Case reds, Cyber Monday Red pack, and Hunt for October Reds. Highly recommended!
I have been a member of Splash Wines for 3 years now and they provide the best wines at an outstanding price. The customer service team is great and it is like Christmas opening up each new box of wines. I have experienced wines from around the world that I would have never known about just shopping at the local store. Plus, I am able to fill my wine cellar at a fraction of the cost. An exceptional wine delivery service. Many fantastic wines to choose from at great prices. Satisfaction guaranteed. Have been a customer for years. They don't currently deliver to Michigan but do to Florida - good thing we are snow birds.
This is an excellent company that stands by its offerings. If you don't like a wine they send, they'll give you full credit, period, no argument needed. I started with their low end wines but now order mostly their higher quality choices (cellar quality, they call it), and have been consistently pleased. Haven't asked for a refund in years!
I have been a Founder member for several years and have recently become a subscribe and save member. Splash has the absolute BEST customer service of any online source I've shopped (it's a high number too)! Furthermore, the product is fabulous! They select them and only offer them if they like them. I have both automatic and optional subscriptions but I've done the order when I want for 4-5 years without issue! Raise a glass and cheers to the best! Splash!
I have been buying from Splash Wines for several years, and I have never been disappointed with the quality of their wines or their friendly and thoughtful customer service. Besides keeping my wine rack full (wine closet, actually!), Splash is my go-to source for thank-you gifts for friends and for thanking building staff and vendors who have gone the extra mile for me.
The selection of wines is varied and interesting, and their quality is consistently good, even for the lower priced selections. They keep up a flow (not annoyingly often) of creative sales and special assortment cases. And best of all is their "if you don't like it you don't pay for it" guarantee, which encourages me to go ahead and try any interesting-sounding wine they offer. And because they specialize in wines from around the world, I can try wines not available locally.

We enjoy wines and have been a member of multiple wine clubs both local and shipment-based. The value received from Splash bad made them out go to source. Really good wines at an outstanding price. What's not to like?
I would say that most reds are at least good, with a few being great. Mostly "everyday drinking wines" and nothing fancy, but you also find an occasional gem. Still, for the very low price for these packs, it's a great way to restock when your wines get low. I've reordered several times over a couple of years and the one time I needed to contact customer support, I got a very quick and satisfactory reply. I'd recommend giving them a try.
