This used to be my go to site for clothing and shoes. Tonight I thought I'd take a peek at what's new and discovered no longer are you able to pick your shoe size, dress size, or another size! It's not even divided into subcategories like petite and Plus. Awwwww...liked it better 4-5 years ago when it was easy to find what I was looking for and there is not near the items that there used to be. Also, had to wait for a code via email to signing. It's been over 45 minutes and still no code, even asked for a 2nd code, you guessed it...still no code!. So long Swap. Back to Poshmark for me. Sad to leave. I am so glad I found this site because I work with kids and need a lot of materials. The toys are clean, arrive quickly, and most hardly look used at all. I do not have the money to spend on these types of materials new, so this is better than a garage sale! I can check by age, gender, type of toy, or other characteristics without having to paw through junk I don't want. I will probably not swap toys because I use them all the time, but I do like browsing the site and making inexpensive purchases.
I have never shopped here before but swap.com is amazing. Lightly used clothes great prices. I ordered 4 items they arrived well packaged and very quickly. I had a lot of fun shopping and they have so many things to choose from. I would recommend this to anyone they have things for old, young, in between, kids, babies for all sizes and shapes it's an amazing experience, I will be telling everyone I know to shop there or at least give it a try. I will shop there again very soon.
Everything comes as described and pictured. Extremely easy to use the website. All the great prices of a thrift store while never having to leave home. I especially love this website for the children's clothes. They grow out of them so fast, I never want to pay full price for something that will be worn less than a year.

I was online searching for a silver color cardigan by Wooden Ships when Swap.com popped up, i took a look and that was it. I ended up placing 3 orders from dresses to tops and bottoms, most of which did fit, it all came quickly and both my daughter and i are now addicted to this site, not sure that, s a good thing lol.
The way they pack the items is in small individual plastic bags with a description of the item labeled on the bag, this way the box containing your ( picks) can hold more items in less space. They are particular on the condition of all sold items and i have never received anything ripped or stained, a lot of their items are like new condition if not new. The prices are better than most consignment stores who tack on a overhead charge etc. my girls and i are now return customers and if we are looking for a particular item we check out Swap.com first.
I have sent in items to Swap for years. They have always paid me on time and inform me of every sale. They state they take 3 months to process, which many sellers clearly dont understand. And they charge for boxes to be shipped so sellers dont get the money they thought, because they subtract the shipping costs. This is all on the website. The company has a, right to change their percentages if they choose as business changes. I was given the old percentage for the items that I sent before the change! And the new percentage for those sent after the change. People expect top dollar when they are doing nothing but sending old clothes in a box, really? This company has gotten so many bad reviews because of other peoples lack of understanding. No company/employees are, perfect and listing may be incorrect sometimes. This is human error. As a seller on Ebay as well, this happens. Why is nobody able to see things from the others persons perspective anymore?
I love Swap.com! I am so satisfied with my first order I went back and placed another order. Everything showed up clean, smelled great, and looked as good or better than expected. I love that it's not just expensive name brand clothes like other consignment sites, they really have something for everyone. I have checked out all of the online consignment shops I can find and Swap.com is by far the best executed. They have the largest selection with great pictures and great prices! Highly recommend!

Oh! And let's talk customer service. If something you purchase does not fit or is not up to quality standards, ship it back for a refund. AMAZING! I have been a customer for a few months and am totally sold on them.
90 days after sending in a large box of clothes I contacted Swap asking when my items would be posted. After numerous emails to them, I found out they posted my items to other people's accounts. Now I am getting the run-around as they tell me they are waiting for those same customers to get back to them! The company is definitely having problems.
They are making little effort to make this right and I fear I have lost great items I could have sold elsewhere due to their incompetence.
It really doesn't get worse than Swap.com. These people are criminals and liars. They DESTROYED items I sent in, items I trusted them with. And they claim they 'lost' some of my items from another box. What do you mean lost?! I don't know what the heck goes on in their building but it's shady. The items I've bought are hit or miss. Sometimes I get stuff that's ok, other stuff I get is broken, and generally not as advertised. They're horrible liars and I would never trust sending your possessions in to them.

I was very happy w the items but found a small hole in two hard to notice spots. I emailed them and they immediately did a return. I had my money credited to my account in 3 days which is really fast for any online place. I have ordered from them twice and plan on using them this holiday season. Great quality at a fantastic price. Only thing is I wish the shipping was a day or two faster.
I have made several purchases from them over the course of a year. Very few items I return. Since I know my favorite brand and the size I wear in that brand, buying is easier than going to a retail store. The selections are amazing and quality is fantastic. Obviously, the description tells you the items condition so you can enlarge the photo and judge for yourself. I have sent articles to them that were in great shape only for them to be rejected. Currently, I am unsure if utilizing this option is feasible. If it comes down to it, my clothes could be sold elsewhere or it may be easier just to donate them locally. (It's like beauty is in the eye of the beholder kinda thing.) None the less, my purchases have been magnificent. I believe in their honest integrity to eliminate waste and provide quality clothes at a reasonable price. Check them out so you can make an intelligent decision just as we all do for so many things. I'm very frustrated with my experience with Swap. I worked really hard and sent several boxes and they basically have told me that nothing I've given them is sellable.
It's super annoying to think you're sending off tons of boxes, and then GET THEM ALL BACK. On the site they specifically asked for women and children's items. I provided tons of books, clothes, and toys... and got them all back. I now am waiting for the last of the inventory I'm sure to be returned to me. It's no one's fault, it's just a big disappointment. Such wasted time.
I ordered an item 14 days ago. It shipped out right away. Everything seemed fine until the tracking information stopped just days into the process. I contacted customer service. 2 days waiting and still no reply concerning my item, if it's on the way, lost, or what. I am definitely not happy right now. If someone asked me about this site I would NOT recommend it at this time. Hoping to receive my item...
I sent in a box of clothing several months ago, and while many of the items have sold, I have yet to receive a cent! Every sale has a high "surcharge" deducted from the proceeds, meaning that Swap somehow ends up keeping all of the money. Ridiculous! I haven't gotten a penny from this site. Stay away and sell somewhere else. Or donate your items -- you'll be better off.

My first experience with Swap.com was, to be honest, terrible. There was a huge shipping delay and it took a month or two to ship, and when it finally arrived, some items were wrong. I decided to give Swap.com a second chance, since they have amazing prices! This time, I'm pleasantly surprised! I bought $50 worth of clothes and unfortunately one of my items got refunded, but I'm glad they refunded it instead of just sending me a similar shirt and thinking I wouldn't be able to tell the difference like last time. Everything else, though, came perfect! The clothes don't particularly smell pleasant, just a bit like a factory, which is to be expected. It took about 10 days to process and once they shipped it, it came in a week. I am so glad I decided to give Swap.com a second chance! Though, I will be wary of buying from them if they have another shipping delay.

Recently Swap changed payment options and will not pay unless payout exceeds $10. Someone figured out that with many payouts under $10, Swap could use that money. Used to be so easy with PayPal.
Though I was hoping they would become a company I would want to do business with again, it's just another change that is poorly thought out.

I've spent about $500 on Swap in the last year. I have upgraded my wardrobe and get lots of compliments and it was dirt cheap on Swap. Brands like Brooks Brothers, Hugo Boss, and Hickey Freeman. I have had returns in almost every order and Swap came through every time, no matter the reason. I've had a few technical glitches with the site, but nothing that did me any harm. Shipping is slow, but that saves me money, so no problem.
Tip for consumers:
Know what you are doing. Know what brands are quality and check all the measurements. There's a lot of "junk" on the site, but also incredible deals.
I've been shopping here for a few months and have generally been satisfied. Some of the items are way overpriced for a consignment shop but we occasionally find really good deals and receive the items within a week or so. My last order was placed over a week ago and after inquiring about the UPS shipping info today I've been told that the order hasn't even shipped yet and won't for several more days so I'm a bit disappointed with their service recently.
If you want to order from somewhere that gives you shipping dates before purchase that change to a month later after, sends incorrect sizes often, and cancels some items you purchased a month later, by all means good luck. This company has went straight into the sewer. Would not recommend to anyone. The other companies like swap are way better and are reliable.

Have bought items three or four times now... have only had to return a few items, and the return process was easy. Was reimbursed for the item once they received it, or "store credit" once when a dress was "too long". Love the way you can search for only things in the size you are looking for. And, not nearly as expensive as buying brand new clothing! It's the "thrift shop" without having to look through the racks! LOL! Will probably buy more from them!
My husband just purchased me an Ann Taylor loft skirt from swap.com and I absolutely love it! It looks and fits the same as a new one! The only difference is he paid less than $10 for it instead of $70(the original price). I will definitely tell all my friends about this site because I love it!
Don't send your things to sell on swap.com. They take months to post your items. You will get almost nothing for your stuff. I sent two large boxes of designer women's clothing and brand name children's clothing in great condition and got less than five dollars for everything. What a rip off! You're better off donating your items to charity.

If I could rate zero stars I would. I have ordered in the past and to this day have never received any package. My aunt recently ordered from them and of course she has waited over a month and still nothing. I also want to point out that every review on their site appears to be fake. Not one single review is negative. This company is criminal and needs to be shut down.

I have a 5 yr old and he isn't picky so it's easy for me to save money shopping for him on this site since they have a $3-$5 dollar category and they have the clothes separated by category. Shopping woman's bottoms is horrible though because I'm picky and most things don't say the leg type or rise. I've sent many things there and haven't any problems with the few things that have been rejected from time to time (which has been an average of maybe 1 thing per the many boxes I have sent). I don't know why other people are having tons of rejects but the rules are simple, no stains or rips and clean items basically. The value you get back isn't that great but I figure with what I save on what I buy it evens things out and I don't have lug things that are too small or no longer played with somewhere when I can just send it all away.
