This used to be my go to site for clothing and shoes. Tonight I thought I'd take a peek at what's new and discovered no longer are you able to pick your shoe size, dress size, or another size! It's not even divided into subcategories like petite and Plus. Awwwww...liked it better 4-5 years ago when it was easy to find what I was looking for and there is not near the items that there used to be. Also, had to wait for a code via email to signing. It's been over 45 minutes and still no code, even asked for a 2nd code, you guessed it...still no code!. So long Swap. Back to Poshmark for me. Sad to leave. I love this site. I have bought tons of designer clothing for my grand kids here. Quality designer clothing at Walmart prices! I am on a fixed income and I can still buy from SWAP.COM affordable and what a great place for mommy's to help one another dress their kids smart! I have purchased over 50+ items here, with only a few problems (womens coat ID'd as a mans and a couple of bizarre size issues, all of which were resolved). Definitely recommend this as a place to buy things.
I can't say that about the other side of it. I only sent in one box and after four months got a 91% reject rate, with issues like "Stained" - on items that were never worn.
I sent several kids clothes and some women's clothes. They were all clean, in good condition and free of stains. It took 3 weeks from the day they received my box to post the pictures for me to price. They only accepted 10 things and took a picture of a pile of clothes and marked it as rejected. Two of my sisters are unpacking the boxes they were going to ship. It's not worth your time or energy to go through this website. I read their acceptance criteria prior to sending my clothes, but it made no difference.
I'm a happy Swap.com customer. I bought some cute dresses on the site recently! Not only was I excited that they were really inexpensive & looked brand new (great condition), but also how cute & unique they were. There's so much to choose from on the site so you're bound to find something you love!
I have also sold items on Swap.com & been very pleased with the results. They allow you to set the prices but also give you a suggested range which is nice for someone like myself who's new to consignment. Also the site pays out for sales quickly through PayPal!
Overall I've been very happy with the site & would recommend it! I feel like they have high standards for acceptable merchandise & accurate ratings of condition, so I feel comfortable buying. It's also an easy way to clean out your closets & give someone else a chance to enjoy something you no longer wear! Box it up, ship it off with a prepaid label, set the price & forget about it!
The items I purchased arrived even better than described. Prices were even less than local thrift stores without having to leave the house. All of my clothing items looked brand new, and the packaging was just right-not too much, not too little. This is my favorite new site to shop for pre-loved clothing. Would love to see more functionality on the mobile app (the ability to see and track placed orders) and a few more pictures of the items particularly of the brand/fabric content tags. Also, the search function/item specifics/titles could be a bit more specific to make sorting/searching for items easier. Very happy with my purchase and will shop here again!
Do not believe the better reviews. They are fake. This company used to be fine, but no longer.
They currently owe me $70 for an order they randomly cancelled but kept the money for. No email about it, no contact whatsoever, they just cancelled the order for no reason and kept my money. Customer service is absolutely heartless and does not care even a little bit. Save yourself the grief of dealing with these people and buy from a real shop, in person. They also use the absolute cheapest possible rate with FedEx, so their packages are always late. Seriously, every time. They just don't care about you in the slightest.

Just don't use this site. Poshmark exists if you must buy online. It's more expensive, but at least you're not throwing your money away.

I have bought clothes from this company many times, mainly before they sucked. They were fine until this year, and then they suddenly turned seriously evil. Probably sold it and whomever bought it is the devil himself, although the devil probably would at least have more panache than these gross mortals who just nickel and dime their customers for their own gain, selling shockingly sub-par items now. And, as I mentioned in the review, they have just flat out stolen $70 from me. It has been 10 days, we will see if I get it back, because their CS is flat out awful.
This used to be a good thrift shopping experience. Now the site has gone way downhill. Most of the clothes are barely donation quality. The only ones that are halfway decent are way over priced. And you have to search for hours to find a decent cart full, which I did only to find upon trying to check out that all of the items were "no longer available". Hours of time wasted because they no longer update their website apparently. Awful experience! This is the second time it's happened and the last.
I am extremely pleased with the quality of clothing I've received! The prices are wonderful, and standard shipping is really fast! The clothing is packaged very neatly. I did have 2 items out of 3 orders that were larger than what was advertised, but I resold them and made my money back.

There is a reason that company has so many one star reviews and all of it is true. Was with swap from the beginning when it just kids items and it was great but that was a long time ago. Processing took forever like months and they rejected any and everything. You can not trust what they say anymore as the policy changed all the time especially when it comes to payment or storage of items. Complete waste of time now there are much better options than swap.

1. When Sellers are accepted into our Premier Seller Program, they can purchase an unlimited number of labels to send items to us.
2. In order to process items quickly (generally inbound boxes are processed within 1-2 days of receiving the items), we now have the seller select upfront when order the label how they would like their rejected items handled.
- They can be recycled.
- They can be shipped home for a flat fee of $9.90
3. Our Sellers are paid out once a month for items sold, and our commission structure provides a more aggressive payout on top branded items.

The items I ordered were packaged in a professional manner... and guess what else was in my box? Another coupon. My Wife and I have placed three orders with Swap.com for a variety of items ranging from a plush Dragon & two toys in their original packages, to baby/toddlers outfits, a pair of boots, women's shirts, men's shorts, a blazer, and a man's short sleeve shirt. I have so far been pleasantly surprised at the quality of merchandise and the accurate sizing of the clothing on the first two orders. Just placed the third order today so time will tell, so unless the third order is completely hosed up, we will continue to purchase from Swap.com. I have had limited to no expectations regarding Swap.com other than if the quality of merchandise met or exede to quality of clothing that I occasionally by at local Goodwill or Thrift Stores then my wife and I will continue supplementing our second hand shopping with Swap.com

You WILL average around 10.00
For a large full box of clothing.
If they sell your dress for 8.00. You will get 80 cents. They then add many fees. You will end up receiving 10.00 maybe 15.00 if u r lucky.
Better
But swap.com will have made a few hundred on your box of clothing. They make millions and the owners do not even live in the U.S.
You r better off taking your items to your local consignment stores. I make more that way.

I love this website, and I won't shop anywhere else, before going to SWAP.COM 1ST! A fantastic online consignment retailer, with name brands at ridiculously low prices. Everything shipped to me was in great, practically new condition and clean.
In a previous review I was unhappy about the delays and professional sellers crowding out the "mom and pops" but now selling has gone on to an even lower level. They take so much of the profit it is not even worth it. I got a 1.20 for a new w/ tags pair of kids pants and everything that is new w/o tags they mark as Fair Condition. It burns me that they get a way with this and that I get to read the business articles that shine a sparkly light on the founder of this company when really there are A LOT of peeved sellers out there. I've stopped sending boxes in because that is what they seem to want given their new policies.
I ordered some boots. Sept 11. Still nothing a month later. I wrote them six times. No response. They blame Hurricane Ian. What was their excuse before? I think they lose things. Or they have things posted that have already been sold. They need to get their $#*! together. I could not contact ANYONE. I asked for a "refund". I THINK they have processed that. They better not charge me ANYTHING for an item never received. They need to have an easier communication system, and organize things better. Otherwise, I like their clothing. I find unique stuff there. Better quality and much cheaper than ThredUp, who actually have a person you can actually talk to. Is crap customer care service the price we pay?

I don’t know at this point. They do not deliver the stuff you order, and their return is awful as well. I am reading that they are not the place to go to sell stuff either. Stick with clothing, maybe? Right now from early September to mid October 2022, their delivery is impossible

I love this site. I buy (and now resell) clothes for my 16 month old son there. The customer support is excellent, they have so many options available, and the way you can filter searches (once you get the hang of it), makes it much easier to find what you want. I've found some great things for me as well, but I especially love this site for buying clothes for my little guy.
This was I place I have been using for years for my son, and sometimes my daughter. (My daughter is older and finding her clothes on here has become harder. I've been noticing as they grow their prices have gotten higher and higher, and today as I said hey I'll look at their toys because of the holiday I was shocked. Toys that claim to save you 60%. Like a little people zoo talkers flamingo $10 on swap.com and $4 at fisher price, and $3.96 at wal mart. My pal scout on sale now at wal mart for $14.96 reguarly $19.99 and at swap.com it is $26.00 again saying you save I believe this one was 10%. Such a disappointment considering I was faithful to buying clothes for my son from here, but when you over charge this is insane. The clothes are what I always buy, again their prices have been raised, but this seemed the easiest way to now compare how bad their prices have become.

I loved my experience with Swap. I found new and almost new clothing for much less than you would pay anywhere else. Everything I purchased was exactly as described and photographed. The website is easy to figure out and you can narrow your searches to be very specific. I am an avid Amazon shopper but I will check with Swap before I buy from Amazon because you cannot beat the deals! Thank you!
Continuing from my last review... they now have a must have 80% acceptance box rate (i. E. If you send in 10 items, 8 items must be accepted. If you have 7 items or less accepted. They will charge you a fee. I guess they have too many boxes being sent to them and this is how they are trimming down their intake volume. So not worth the time or energy. Your better off selling on other sites.
It has been 3 weeks since I ordered and it is still being process, no reply from customer service or update. Ordered from Thredup last week and already received my package couple days ago, how long does it take to pack and box up couple pieces of clothing?

It is possible to find some good deals but it looks like the prices have increased. $15-$20 for a used Gymboree dress that is only $12.00 at Gymboree.com is ridiculous and unfortunately most dresses are similarly priced. Nobody should ever pay $10.00 for a used Faded Glory dress.
They used to be great. They used to let you set your prices and the fees were way lower. The mismanagement of this pathetic company started becoming clear when the fees went up, then again, and finally they took away the ability to set your own prices. I am barely getting anything back and they want to charge me to send my own property back because they changed the contract on items that were sent in prior to the change. I'm going to let them keep doing it so I can have a bigger case when I finally sue them. Anyone want to jump on? This company is garbage now. Do not send anything to them, they will mess you over! I got back $33 for items I probably paid at least four times as much for. They should be shut down for breach of contract alone. I won't be surprised when they shut down. Their management is a joke.
