This used to be my go to site for clothing and shoes. Tonight I thought I'd take a peek at what's new and discovered no longer are you able to pick your shoe size, dress size, or another size! It's not even divided into subcategories like petite and Plus. Awwwww...liked it better 4-5 years ago when it was easy to find what I was looking for and there is not near the items that there used to be. Also, had to wait for a code via email to signing. It's been over 45 minutes and still no code, even asked for a 2nd code, you guessed it...still no code!. So long Swap. Back to Poshmark for me. Sad to leave. I just received items returned to me. I NEVER ASKED FOR SWAP TO RETURN ITEMS--WHAT GIVES? Also, box sent to you March 23 shows zero items listed, but box sent after shows activity. I have noticed every time you changed hands rate of commission changed. How convenient the breakoff now is 8.01- for 15 per EUcent-commision. I notice a couple items of mine sold for 8.00 so earned 1.20; Some items I sent were New with tags--like white shorts. I am a premier seller, but am going to use local shops to sell or threadup--MIGHT EVEN TRY EBAY.
DISGUSTED one now. Also my last email to you weeks ago never got a response. I am looking for a local consignment shop or will try THREADUP.

I was happy with this company when I was buying from them. Really happy. They even refunded an item that didn't fit.
Then I sent them a box of my stuff to sell. Really nice stuff. Cost $8.90 to ship but i should make enough to cover that and make a little profit. (I thought)
First tip off that something was wrong is that they rejected an item I was almost positive had no stains but they said it did. But I figured maybe they saw something I didn't. Then I was notified I sold my first item. I was so happy. So it sold for $4 and I got $1.50. I was ok with that as they did all the work putting it on. Then I also sold 2 other items. Yay! Ok now wait for the pay of $6. Well I get a notice I was going to be paid... I thought. I click the link and it says, I earned $6 but fees taken out $6! What? So I made squat on that so far? And my other items will probably end up the same way. So I deleted my other items and had them send them back to me. (Had to pay $5 shipping.)
So I paid $14 in shipping (all together) for them to sell my stuff and they made a profit! I lost money! SCAM! And so much for buying. I'm not buying from them either. It doesn't go to the people who sent the clothes!
First time I used them everything was perfect... the delivery, the description the quality. I will continue to go to this site before all others which are similar.
What a garbage website. This is a great idea executed by untalented amateurs.

This site falsely advertises prices. Items in cart will change price when you go to check out.
I spent 2 weeks adding stuff to a cart on this site. Occasionally there would be items that were bought by other people and it would tell me in my cart they were no longer available. (I understand this completely, no complaint.)
My complaint is that one of the items I put into my cart was priced at $3. It remained in my cart still stating it was $3 for a week. When I had finially found enough stuff to qualify for free shipping I proceeded to check out. When I did so the price of my $3 item changed to $14. I was confused. I went back to my cart and it was still showing the item at $3. I emailed the company asking them to fix the pricing error. They told me there was no error, and that the item was supposed to be $14.
After I posted this review (originally with 1star) I was contacted a member of the Swap staff via message through this site. She offered to send me the shirt to make up for my confusion. She also said the pricing error is because people can swap clothes and change prices without it changing in your cart. I advise that if you shop on this site you check out immediately to avoid prices changing on you.

Just so everyone is aware, I wanted to clear up how the cart works. Because in the time you spent adding items to your cart, that same $3 maternity shirt was purchased and re-listed at a higher purchase (an option that all buyers and sellers have on our site as the sellers set the prices). Sometimes when users want to shop over a longer period of time, the store their items for free, and then pay a low flat rate of $4.99 to send everything home.

Great swap site! Actually I use the "Media" website (www.swap.com/books) because it's for swapping books, music, movies and games. This website enables me to swap books, music cd's, dvd's and video games with others from all over the country. Swap.com/books facilitates the swaps: 1) I add to my list "Items I Am Willing to Trade" (there is a database of items that rivals Amazon), 2) I add any items I WANT on "List of Wants," and 3) The system matches items to everyone's wants and trades, usually as 3-way swaps.
This site is awesome and I have saved tons of money by swapping books instead of paying for them. You have the option to print out a generated label from Swap.com, which adds to the balance, and each month on the 23rd they charge it to your credit card or account (about $3.21 per book, because of delivery confirmation); OR you can opt to use your own postage. I use my own because Stamps.com makes it much cheaper to send and Delivery Conf is much less.
The only downside to this website is that some people decide not to use Delivery Confirmation, which is supposed to be a requirement, and then the package cannot be tracked. My packages always arrive, but someone should really monitor the users who don't provide Delivery Conf, because they try to get around the system by being lazy.

I know of your "policy", no need to cite it! That your company won't return store credit to someone who is moving out of the country or simply DOES NOT wish to do business with you anymore is Shameful! YOU DON'T GET TO KEEP THE PRODUCT AND THE CUSTOMER'S MONEY AS WELL! That's called theft!
JHowever, I will say as an update, that once I informed your manager that I was contacting the Customer Protection Division at the State's Attorne's Office of my state about your refusal to refund my money, somehow Swap.com was MAGICALLY "able" to refund my store credit to my credit card! How very interesting!

Swap.com is committing theft and fraud! Even if you try to close your account with them to get back your ever increasing amount of "store credit" they don't want to refund it! HELLO Swap.com! You can't keep the merchandise AND the consumer's money as well! And you can't force us to do business with you saying that "store credit has to be used because it's your policy"! I'm afraid that that doesn't sit well with people in this country!
I have reported them to the Consumer Protection Division of the Maryland State's Attorney's Office and encourage all that have realized how they're being scammed by Swap.com to do the same!
I have been selling with Swap.com basically fro the beginning. The payouts were really decent. I would send a box and get it processed fairly quickly. In 2017 they starting changing their policies after they started growing a lot I believe. When I finally sent a box to them in November 2017, it did not get processed until February 2018. This was after emailing them to find out what was happening with my items. They finally priced them okay and rejected about one third of the items. One day I decided to have the rejected items returned to me. I did not know the policies had changed. Long time customers should receive some notification when they make changes instead of being blindsided. I recently went to check my items again a couple of days ago and could not could not find my rejected items. To my horror, my items had been donated. I never knew I had only 14 days to retrieve my rejected items. I could have sold my items myself! Now I am having some of my pieces sent back to me. I would rather not do business with them anymore. You do not give a person's items away without letting them know especially when you a taking most of their money and you lie about the processing times of customer's items.
I got Adidas sweat pants for my 10 year old and a Lucky Brand t-shirt for myself. Good prices and clothing was in great condition. I spent $22 overall and felt it was a good buy.
