Jonathan and the team at 3307 Hillsborough Rd in Durham were amazing. They were quick and knowledgeable. I will be a returning customer.

My dad brought my 4th gen Dodge Ram to get the colent done at Take 5 in Lawrenceburg INDIANA and when we left the truck was over heating. Keep in mind we had NO issues with the truck over heating UNTIL Take 5 touched the truck. When we asked them to fix it he caused my dad out and said "it's not my fault the $#*!ing truck is broken." My dad proceeded to say "so your telling me I come in with no issues yall touch it and now I have issues so I have to fix YOUR mistake." Then one of the Take 5 employees says" if YOU take it to a mechanic and they say there IS IN FACT something wrong with it then they would pay for it" my dad asked for documentation of them stating THEY would pay for the issues he says "I'm not signing $#*!." So overall $#*!TY costumer service! I do NOT recommend!
Took car in for an oil change. The tech went under car and started to remove wrong bolts. He came out and let me know 3 bolts are missing and one is stripped from the skid plate protecting my under carriage. He needed to remove it to do oil change. My last oil change was at JIFFY LUBE.( WHERE I SHOULD HAVE WENT IN THE FIRST PLACE) he learned that and automatically blamed them. Makes sense right. Since they were the last to touch my car. He put everything back and sent me on my way to jiffy lube pissed. Jiffy lube manager was calm with me and my frustration. Pulled in and found the skid plate and all the screws were still there. What he saw was your tech was trying to remove BOLT UNDR MY CAR that had nothing to do with the oil change. JIFFY LUBE proceeded with the oil change. I apologized to the JIFFY lube manager and called your take 5 guys back to let them know they $#*!ing suck for making me leave. He apologized. I hung up. Very unprofessional and inconvenient. They need more extensive training.
I went to Take 5 on Oct 2,2022 in Brandon, FL and purchased a High Mileage Oil Change. Yesterday 1/20/23 on my way to work, my car was not getting power... Immediately I contacted the dealership, who had my car towed there to avoid doing breaking down. When they proceeded to do an inspection on my car, the Oil was not only below the line, it also, looked LIKE BLACK OIL, my car has no oil leaks for it to be below the marker. I called them, was on the phone with one of the agents who told me. "Once driving and reach at least 2900 miles, with a foreign car the oil burns faster and gets low very fast once your reach 3000 miles on a HIGH MILEAGE OIL CHANGE with my type of car" After being at the dealership for some time and missing work, they told me there is no way I recently had an oil change and if I had continue to drive, it was have destroyed my engine...I told them what the dealership said, they really tried to discount what the dealership had diagnosed. Saying to my that the OIL burns faster when you are approaching 300 miles on a High Mileage Oil change. Not only did I pay $90.34 for this High Mileage Oil change and not needing a filter at that time. These folks are full of ISH...THEY REALLY TRIED TO GAS LIGHT MY $#*! LIKE I'M NOT OVER 50 YEARS OLD AND DON'T ANYTHING ABOUT CARS. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO MY WORST ENEMY...
I had my oil changed at the Indy Southport location and Skyler & Hunter did a great job. Only place I go.
Visited Rayford location on a Sunday. Arrived around 1:45 didn't leave until after closing@6:45 and car being towed to my mechanic. Remind you they close at 5pm on Sundays. Guy said previously installed oil filter was incorrect and my 2011 Tiguan was not supposed to have a canister filter. Needless to say he trashed part of the engine oil housing component and says it wasn't supposed to b there. I requested him to give me the part he trashed. After 15-20 minutes then called his manager as he says he couldn't get new filter on and previous mechanic cross threaded it. Guy tells his manager about incorrect part and manager asks for part so I gave to him and he reinserted back into oil housing. I called my mechanic to speak with manager and he tells my mechanic that he cross threaded it. Remind you this is a rebuilt engine and 1st oil change after work being done. My mechanic tries to guide him over phone on how to install filter by lining up the threads he says he didn't want to mess it up. Long story short car had to be towed. Worst experience ever. Please stay away from this place. Otherwise it will cost you more than the cost of an oil change. Also this place has over 350 complaints with BBB(Better Business Bureau)
I just got an oil change & the folks there were very helpful & friendly.
It was a job well done. They were knowledgeable, efficient & quite nice.
Myself, I take much pride in my vehicle maintenance, always keeping up with oil changes, and tire rotations to name the least. My normal dealership was busy on the day I needed to get an oil change before leaving town so I decided to bring it into a Take 5. On 5/9/22 I had my vehicle serviced for an oil change at ******* Veterans Blvd Port Charlotte Florida. The technicians seemed tired and overheated although I figured I could trust them to do their job with the routine oil change. Mind you my vehicle is a 2016 honda civic and has a factory metal plate that is required to remove when doing the oil change. One of the younger technicians yelled out to the manager and said that my vehicle had a skid plate. So the manager went underneath and removed the skid plate. After everything was complete I asked them to let me know if everything checked out ok at the end of the visit the technician who in return was one of the managers on site told me everything looks perfect and even proceeded to check my tire pressure. While I was driving down the interstate that same day my skid plate underneath my vehicle flew off my car behind me nearly causing an accident. I called the Take 5 location and spoke to the manager about the incident and he suggested I purchase an aftermarket plastic replacement off of eBay and offered to zip tie it back on my vehicle. This of course is not acceptable. I contacted my car insurance and my deductible is $1000 plus my vehicle will be unusable during the repairs. I have also tried calling several Customer service lines at *******488, *******205 along with emailing the customer service department with no luck in sight of receiving any replies. When you call the customer service numbers the only option is to leave a voicemail for someone to call you back which now it's been over two months with no contacts back. I am severely upset with this company's business practice and feel this company is one big sham.
My recent experience with Take 5 Oil Change was fantastic. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about my vehicle. I was very pleased.
They are friendly, the store is professionally operated and they make your experience something to talk about Alan and Augie were amazing
I was having all 6 of my cars serviced by take 5. The had a new guy in the pit and he stripped my oil plug bolt. The new guy came and apologized and after was pulled to the side by his lead. I saw him getting loud with him so i got out of my car and asked the lead what was going on? He said, Nothing but he should have let me speak with you. I told him you did and you did not say anything about the plug except you were working on it. They put a repair plug in and i took it home. It was leaking oil on my driveway so i took it back. I was then given the run around multiple times and they attempted repairs. Finally the fourth time to take 5 in two weeks. I had enough i requested to speak with the manager or DM they both played catc& mouse. Finallyvadam the manager calls and says read the print on your receipt it clearly states we are not responsible for damage to your vehicle. I called corporate to place a formal complaint byt all you get is voice msg. To leave a message but you never get a call back. This company is the worst. Year back Walmart changed my oil they stripped a plug on my new car. Came and told me had my car towed to Honda and paid for rental & repairs. I didnt go back after, but this compay is a joke and management is very rude and unprofessional. Oh theyvalso refused to give me receipts to multiple repair attempt. I was told i didnt pay anything so they dont provide receipts.
I paid over $100 for oil and air filter change at TAKE 5 OIL CHANGE. Several weeks later, I noticed oil on my garage floor. I thought the oil leak was due to head gasket seepage. I took my car to Mazda dealer. To my shock, the Mazda dealer said the leak was due to the loose oil plug. The Mazda serviceman showed me a video of the leaking oil plug. The serviceman tightened the oil plug and topped off the engine oil. ------ I later returned to TAKE 5 OIL CHANGE and asked for a refund because of the shop's defective work. The shop refused, and said that I should have come to the shop first. I explained that I never thought for a second that TAKE 5 OIL CHANGE would not properly tighten the oil plug. The shop still refused. I asked the shop for the identity and contact information of the owner so that I could make a complaint. The shop manager said "we are not allowed to give out that information." This is why YOU SHOULD NEVER ALLOW ANY TAKE 5 OIL CHANGE SHOP TO TOUCH YOUR VEHICLE UNLESS AND UNTIL THEY IDENTIFY THE OWNER WITH HIS OR HER CONTACT INFORMATION. "Caveat Emptor"--Let the buyer beware when trusting TAKE 5 OIL CHANGE.
They make pay for expensive oil and they put regular oil and they put water in my washer and they didn't check anything else they are very bad
