The overall reputation of Texas Roadhouse is mixed, with customers frequently praising the taste of certain menu items and the attentiveness of some staff members. However, a significant number of reviews highlight persistent issues with food preparation, such as incorrect cooking levels and poor quality cuts, alongside service delays and inadequate management response to complaints. Problems with order accuracy and communication further contribute to customer dissatisfaction. While some locations demonstrate high-quality service, the inconsistency across various branches suggests a need for improved training and oversight to enhance the overall dining experience.

Lunch in Sheridan. Service was rushed and unorganized. So much salt on porterhouse, wasn't able to eat. Was offered free dessert. Took beef home washed it and made good soup. And excellent steak and eggs. On tipped 17%. Sorry Jesse.
Recently went to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate birthday of 3 persons in our party of 7. A real disaster they squeezed us into booth designed for 4. I had told them we had a party of 8. I looked everywhere in the restaurant for a potential to seat more than 6. It simply did not exist, The Roadhouse i'd in Chestetfield, MI. Not recommended period.
I called them on November the 7th and told them on November the 4th I had Lyons to service I called him back today on November the 11th 96 hours later and they act like they don't give a rat's $#*! will not be back...
Just came from one of the San Antonio locations - they would not issue Vet's vouchers even though corporate said they should.
Vets need to boycott this place (The store on Cinema Ridge)!
It's not Texas Roadhouse Corporate, they made it good. It's the franchise owner here in San Antonio.
Once again had the opportunity to relax and enjoy a good priced Texas Roadhouse dinner at Pier Park, Panama City Beach, Florida. The ownership/management at this location has always made this a great dining spot. The professional hard working staff is what sets this eatery apart from many others. Our server Daniel checked in with us 4 times during the meal ensuring that everything was to our liking. We were extremely happy to see one of their best servers Kaleb return to this location, we missed him on several prior visits. Speaking of missing him RIP to our old friend Paul, and Best Wishes to our buddy Carl in his future endeavors. In addition we were lucky enough to chat with Manager Joseph Lary who's industry skills are second to none, THANKS GUYS...
Treat people who are hispanic in a bad and loud tone. The service is terrible too. In methuen Massachusets.
Went to Texas Roadhouse in Roseville, MI and our server brought our food, asked me to cut into mine but not my friend. He asked for medium rare. Should have been pink. She walked away as he was cutting and it was not pink. It was also supposed to be chopped steak and it was not. She did not come back. When I finally got someone to get our server she said yes it should have been pink. She said she would talk to the Manger and get them. They never came over and she came over and said about paying the bill.
I ordered a chicken caesar salad with 2 cups of saltea onions and a cup of chili. The lettuce was not cut up and seemed to have been thrown in the takeout tray. The chili had hard stuff in it like bones and I didn't understand that. I threw all away. It was awful and I waited over 30 minutes for the God Awful food. I didn't leave a tip because I ordered the food online but when I got to the restaurant the girls atthe window said they didn't have it. I will never buy from them again. The food was just awful like they took no care in putting it together. Who puts bones in chili? TEXAS ROADHOUSE DID. I need a refund? I threw up after tasting the chili. DOG FOOD for sure! PEOPLE BEWARE! I paid $24.70 for that crappy meal.
Their service is the best. They are the nicest service ever. Please go there. The people tell joke`s
Food was taken to another customers dirty table and left until server realized it was the wrong table. Server never once came back to offer refills for our drinks nor did he fully complete our order until asked for our second drink. Appetizer was set on our table which was not ordered and server was rude when we told her that we didn't order the appetizer. Spoke to the manager who seemed very annoyed that we wanted to address the issues in which we had. Was told that the server had stated the food was never at another table yet pictures proved it was. Manager seemed more irritated that we wanted to speak to her to hopefully prevent another customer from having the same experience. Order was made wrong anyways which was being refused due to the fact it was at another customers table. Would highly recommend going to another place. Personally have 30+ years in the food industry and have never seen nor been so disgusted in a restaurant.
We order 2 to go orders at 6 p.m. It is now 9 p.m. and we are still in the parking lot waiting for a text that our food is ready. NEVER AGAIN!
I came from El matador restaurant after working there for 40 years business got closed down texas roadhause in south ogden hired me the managers and Jess the owner are wonderful people they have patience with me and are the kindest people so thank u texas roadhause love u guys
We go at least twice a month and always get a booth in bar. I asked for one when I checked in they said 10 min wait, no problem after 10 min takes us to another table not in bar and told us they had no server for empty tables in bar 10 minutes later they were seating people there. Waited 45 min for roadkill and grilled chicken salad. Server never came back to check on us. never had an experience like this and it wasnt prime dinner time it was 3:20 in afternoon.
Usually have a great experience but when I tried to use a free appetizer coupon for my bday the manager said we couldn't when in the past we did it all the time. I guess new management sucks! Food came out over done too.
On Sunday Oct 9th My family made plans to attend the Mansfield Texas Roadhouse. We had a party of 7. We all arrived except for one person that had informed me that he was 10 minutes out. I had my mother 92 Years old and in rather poor health but wanting to get out one last time. Also my wife, Diagnosed with stage 4 Cancer also wanting to see her family one last time. As we were 15 minutes early my mother requested to me if she could be lead to a table so she could sit and not have to get back up to move about. I asked the host about seating us and he stated that without all parties in attendance that we could not be seated. A restaurant policy. I requested to speak to the manager and she was very disrespectful in her replies. I didn't want to go into details about why we needed to be directed to a table. She informed me she could seat us as a party of 6 but when our last member showed up he would NOT be able to sit with us. I finally explained our situation and she was steadfast in her reply. She offered my mother a hard wood bench to sit on to wait. That was unacceptable in that she has spine issues and can barely sit on a padded chair. Once again this will be her last time in public and this is the treatment we had. She was in tears, as you can imagine trying to be with family on an outing when no matter what we could not make an exception to this policy. On another note we arrived at this restaurant at opening time(11:00am). The stench from the trash receptacles on either side of the entry door was unbearable. Both trash barrels were over flowing and one of them didn't have a plastic liner. People that were waiting outside had to wait on the side away from the entrance. We were finally seated and waited for a little over ten, minutes before someone took our drink order. A pleasant young lady names Sammy. She redeemed your restaurant. She did an outstanding job. No manager ever came to our table during our entire visit. I have been a loyal customer at this location since 2008 and the other management staff you had there was outstanding. This particular manager was without any compassion at all. I understand policies but When I finally explained in full our situation she smirked and in a disrespectful why said "Sorry but look at that sign, It's policy. Like I stated we were there at 11 so there was not a lot of customers at that time.
Always on a cold plate--high priced rest---over 75.00 a meal never get this together---dressings are awesome--steaks are good value---my only complaint are the mushrooms---need more butter and less seasonings----I like to eat at cape girardeau, mo----last 3 times We have been there food --comes out cold
Called to make reservations, was forced to use their website. The online system limits how far you can plan ahead. Fine. Logged in. Made a reservation. Clicked the link that we arrived and were at the restaurant. Glad we double-checked inside "oh sorry, we accidentally deleted your reservation" and told it would be an additional 25min. That was a full hour ago. Still waiting.
Hearing grumbling from others that they had made reservations and have been waiting for over an additional hour.
Looking inside, there are over 20 empty tables.
Apparently Texas Roadhouse counts on first time customers, because we won't repeat. If it was just our reservation that was lost, that would be one thing. But several potential customers… wow.
Recommend all avoid the only Texas Roadhouse in the state of washington.
I ordered the Ft. Worth Ribeye thinking that it would be a better cut of meat. One third of the steak was fat and grissle and I had to spend a few minutes cutting it all off before I could eat the steak. Also the Loaded Mash Potatoes were way too salty.
I have ordered this steak before it and was pretty good but this time not so much. I would not recommend them nor will I probably go there again.
Waitress was really rude to me and my other was very slow and did not get the food right And was very touchy.
Answer: Longhorn steakhouse - WAY better - the food is better, the menu choices better. People are great
