My husband and I went to Texas Roadhouse at Bay pines Florida and we ordered a cactus onion asked for ranch dressing and it took forever to get and no plates then they brought us out our steak and potato and then we got our salad the girl that brought the salad and so she go get the manager the manager came and as if we would like boxes for the food I don't feel this was a way to bring people back to your restaurant as we were very disappointed and will not come back again!
My family and I went to eat here Sunday around 4pm. We sat at the table our waitress came over rude with an attitude asking us what we want to drink. We asked her where the bread was an she lied an said it wasn't ready then proceeded to disappear for 20 minutes so we asked to speak to the manager the manager was rude too and also tried to lie an say the bread wasn't ready in which we could see the bread coming out from where we were sitting so we called her out on it she got mad an walked away, when we finally received bread it had hair on it so I took pictures of it an then we got up an left. No to mention I had my one and a half year old crying because he was hungry. The only reason we come here is because we know that the bread comes out when we sit at the table so my son could eat it until his other food comes. Another thing is we stood and watched every waitress get bread an walk with customers to their table with bread but ours didn't I felt like they was being slick racist anyway because I'm African American my son is mixed, my fiancé is Caucasian an they was already giving us nasty looks before we even sat down.
I visited a Texas Roadhouse in the Maryland area. I noticed after dinning the bust guys were cleaning off tables and using the same rug on the seats as the tables... OMG NASTY and he went from table to table... Lots of restaurants does this, I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY AT LEAST HAVE TWO RAGS FOR TABLES AND CHAIRS.
Last night I took boyfriend to Texas roadhouse for his bday and after it took over an hour to get our food our potatoes were so cold the butter wouldn't melt. Mine wasn't done. His steak was cold. My ribs had no flavor and over cooked. The manager comes and she's STRUNG OUT ON SOMETHING! Her hair looked like it hadn't been brushed in a month. Her make up looked like she put it on last week. When she talked she couldn't stop figgeting! You know when someone is on drugs! Instead of giving us this meal free since WE DIDN'T EAT IT all she could do was give us a card for 2 free meals. Thing is she had to write on it and she did that in MARKER. She shook so bad couldn't read it. Not even the waitress could. We had his son with us so a meal that wasn't eaten cost me $85.00. We love Texas roadhouse but better get better management there or this woman will close the place down! For this experience I give them 1 star and that star goes to our wonderful waitress!
I asked for a Medium Well steak at the Texas Roadhouse in Palmyra, PA with a baked potato and green beans. My steak had too much pepper (my husband loves pepper and even HE said it was too much!). The steak was also so overdone, there was NO PINK and NO JUICE from it at all. Someone in the kitchen doesn't know how to follow directions! The baked potato was fine. The green beans had smoked bacon in it (not ham) and some kind of brown broth - you couldn't taste the green beans at all! Someone on the kitchen staff is trying to be too creative at work instead of following the recipes. If this is their recipe, they need to change it! The only really good thing about the meal was their fresh bread. It is TDF (to die for!). Other than that, my birthday dinner was a real disappointment for the price we paid! ($50 for 2 people - my husband had BB ribs). I mentioned the problem with my steak and the waitress said she could send it back, but I didn't want to spend the next hour waiting for another steak. Instead, she offered another steak the way I ordered it to take home. I accepted the offer. I should have probably said no and had her take the steak off of the check. We won't be going back there! I don't have the ability to copy the receipt since it came via email and my computer will only save it as a DOC or PDF file.
The Stroudsburg PA Texas Roadhouse ALWAYS misses items! When you call they tell you to come back again! NO! I drove ONCE to pick up. Not going again to come back and eat cold food! They NEVER refund you for missed items! Want to speak to a manager? They put you on hold and no one EVER picks up! NOT WORTH ORDERING FROM!
Once again had the opportunity to relax and enjoy a good priced Texas Roadhouse dinner at Pier Park, Panama City Beach, Florida. The ownership/management at this location has always made this a great dining spot. The professional hard working staff is what sets this eatery apart from many others. Our server Daniel checked in with us 4 times during the meal ensuring that everything was to our liking. We were extremely happy to see one of their best servers Kaleb return to this location, we missed him on several prior visits. Speaking of missing him RIP to our old friend Paul, and Best Wishes to our buddy Carl in his future endeavors. In addition we were lucky enough to chat with Manager Joseph Lary who's industry skills are second to none, THANKS GUYS...
We were so excited when they built the Texas Roadhouse at Cottonwood, as it was closer to our house and have eaten there happily for years. Now, post pandemic, ordering online has not become the way to continue to enjoy the food. The chicken fried chicken we ordered is about half the size now that it used to be, as is the house salad we ordered as a side. My hubby and I used to order this in the restaurant and split the meal. Not any more! It was barely enough for one person! When I called to speak to a manager, she had nothing to offer but excuses for the portions we received, and when I asked for a refund was refused. I was offered a discount on our next order. She did offer to make our meal again, but after having to wait an hour for the first order I thought that it probably should have been done right the first time. If you're going to make the portions smaller for take out, then your prices should reflect that. We won't be back. I have no respect for a business that would do something like that to their customers, especially in these difficult times.
Today, I visited the Texas Roadhouse at Joe Battle in El Paso with a party of seven. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.
While I understand that delays can occur, the excessive wait time for our food was just the beginning of a very unpleasant dining experience. The real issue arose when I discovered a piece of wax wrapping paper inside my burger. After a few bites, I felt something hard while chewing. When I opened the burger, I was horrified to find this inedible item. I immediately informed the waiter, who swiftly took my plate away before I could react or fully process what had just happened.
Without consulting me, the restaurant decided to prepare another burger, but I was too disgusted to even consider eating it. I returned the replacement as I felt increasingly nauseated. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of communication or concern from the staff. At no point did anyone address the issue or inquire about my well-being.
Before leaving, I requested to speak with a manager. I explained the situation, emphasizing that my issue had been ignored and that nobody had asked me if I wanted my order remade. The manager claimed that she was under the impression I wanted another burger, which was never the case. It was only after I voiced my concerns that she offered a lukewarm apology, referring to the incident as merely an "inconvenience." This downplayed the severity of the situation, and I found it deeply unsatisfactory that it took this long to receive any form of apology.
I then asked if there was a way to formally file a complaint, and the manager mentioned that it could only be done online. She did offer to speak with higher management and returned with a $15 voucher for a future visit. I declined this offer, as it does not begin to address the seriousness of the issue. A mere $15 does not compensate for the distress and disgust I experienced, nor does it assure me that such an incident won't happen again.
As a side note, another member of our party was charged for items they neither ordered nor consumed, which further adds to the overall dissatisfaction with this visit.
This experience has marred the beginning of my weekend, and I sincerely hope that future patrons have a better experience than I did. However, I must express my deep disappointment and concern regarding the quality control and customer service at this location.
I trust that this matter will be taken seriously and that appropriate measures will be implemented to ensure such an incident does not occur again.
I've never had a good experience or meal at Texas Roadhouse in Amarillo, Texas, but because my kids like this restaurant I thought I would give it another chance. Like expected they failed miserably. First they sat us, a family of four with two young kids, at the bar section. I thought the bar section was designated for adults. Second it took an hour to get our food. My steak came out rare when I ordered it medium well. You would think a steak restaurant would know the difference. I sent it back and requested it cooked like I ordered it. My family finished their meal and 30 minutes later I still had no steak. Third I ordered tea and received one glass during this entire ordeal. You would think the waitress would be on top of things being that things were not going well. I cancelled my steak order and requested the check. A manager brought me the check and a coupon for another day. I gave the coupon away to the first person I saw while leaving the restaurant. I will never return to this restaurant and I hope upper management read this review as I know this is a chain restaurant.

We always get TR. But Wow this time my mr was so overdone. We always get it to go and still always tip them. And really love there steaks but so disappointed this time.
Exactly, as title says long wait I waited over an hour in their carry out parking and could not leave until I paid horrible Hickory, North Carolina. They noticed I had a kid in my car and ignored me
I tried to take my family out for dinner in Findlay OH. We called at 4:45 to be put on the wait list. We had 7 people. We were told that the earliest we would be seated was 8:30, BUT. They wouldn't put us on the wait list, we would have to call back at 6:00pm to be put on the waitlist. I called back at 6:00pm and was told the earliest that we would be seated would be 9:30pm. Why? Are they inept and don't know how to count to 7 or do they not want the business? Seriously? How is it that it would take 3-4 hours to get a table for 7? Texas Roadhouse used to be one of our favorite places. We will be looking for a new favorite. Very dissappointing.
Yes I had a bad experience first I was accused of switching tables which I didn't second I was served a cup with ranch on it third my baked potato had a onion in I will never return to the Spartanburg sc location
It's nice to know that Veterans are only appreciated if you show up between 11:00 to 2:00 pm to get a voucher to use at some other time, pretty disappointed in Texas Roadhouse.
Hostess took us to a table that was still in the process of being cleaned. I have worked as a hostess in a couple of restaurants some years ago. That is a big no no! Additionally, the person seating us had a cold, was wearing no mask, and carrying a bread basket she expected us to eat from!
8oz steak was fatty and that has never happened in all the years I have visited this franchise, and the food tasted off. The sweet tea was watery and not sweet, including the peach tea that was supposed to be naturally sweet. The burger that my daughter had was salty. It was supposed to be medium and they made it well instead. We were on a schedule and very hungry so we ate but didn't finish, which is a first for us when it comes to Texas Roadhouse. We addressed it to our server when she finally came back around to our table and asked her to express our disappointment to the cook. We got a weak "sorry" from the chef through her. I feel like COVID brain is a real issue for some workers now. They just have a "not my problem" mentality. I was taking a break from cooking and was treating my daughter and myself to a nice dinner. This was an epic fail. Leaving more than dissatisfied. Just full on disgusted. I didn't bother to address the manager because she looked like she didn't even know what day it was. Paid my bill, left a minimal tip, and bounced! Just feeling totally disgusted though.
We went there and my brother and dad ordered a salad but the letus was old and we got are appitizeres late and we couldn't eat are food and we left with sadly desgusted food next time they should get it right and none of the employes did anything wrong.
Excellent food, great atmosphere and great place to meet with friends. The staff and the service is awesome. That's why we keep coming back. Definitely recommend.
It is so stupid how you can't wait inside if you have like 5-10 minutes till your seated. People just walking before us and got seated that just got here.
As a owner of a restaurant I wanted to find out the bottom line on Texas Roadhouse chain. After attending a Texas Roadhouse chain restaurant off Barrett Pkwy in Marietta Georgia I can tell anyone interested that you do not want to go to this chain unless you are expecting steaks close to dog food level. They submerge all cuts in salt, passing this off as flavor. Originally ordered cactus blossom onion rip-off from outback and was terrible. Weird flavor which is unidentifiable and not palatable. One order of prime rib which tastes like ham(?). Sent that back, reordering filet mignon, took 45 minutes to get to table, meat was malleable and chewy with overwhelming amount of salt again. Just a hint folks salt doesn't equal flavor unless you are trying to cover up something like a low grade of "beef ". Ask This restaurant what grade of beef they serve here. Just so you know there are 8 grades of beef. Look it up this rates below utility rating, just before canned and cutter(dog food). Suggest sticking with longhorn and outback they aren't great but much better quality all around

Answer: Longhorn steakhouse - WAY better - the food is better, the menu choices better. People are great
