I had the worst experience ever at Texas Roadhouse in Madison Heights. First of all, they lost my call in order according to the server. I waited for 40 minutes to get my order curbside. He kept telling me they were looking for my order and they couldn't find it. In the meantime about 15 to twenty people were getting their orders and leaving. Some even pulled right up and left within minutes. I kept my cool because I know this volume of curbside orders may be different for them in light of social distancing protocols put in place because of Covid 19. I finally got my food only to see that the salmon was completely burnt and dry. The bottom was crispy like brown crispy it was so burnt. So I call the restaurant to complain that my sal.on was burnt even after I waited way too long to get my order. The girl told me to bring it back. I said I am too far away to come back now. She says you can bring it within the next day or so. That is ridiculous. Would I actually go through the trouble to call back and complain if it wasn't burnt and if I didnt have to wait forever. Anyway, that's it for me. I'm done with that texas roadhouse and they should be ashamed of themselves for the service, or lack of service I received. Then to tell me to bring it back like I'm lying, check with the cook, he knows exactly what I'm talking about.
Yesterday, sunday, 12/19/20 my husband and 2 older daughters and I, each ordered,"Origional Margheritas w/o the sour mix and a "1800 " shot of tequila, as it is too sweet for us. You would have thought we asked for something unattainable! Our waiter gave us an extremely hard time, so we politely called for a manager for help. Her name is Christina. ( she said she was the owner). She gave us a new server and said " no problem". When the bill arrived we noticed she charged each of us, $14.00, for what should have been a $9.50 cocktail, and never once told us prior to receiving the bill that it would be more money! When we asked her why she charged us more, she said they had to put in more alcohol to fill up the glass, which was now loaded with ice. It actually tasted very weak. We were all not happy and she proceeded to get loud and began to argue with us. It wasn't a good look for her, as everyone nearby was having their dinner interrupted. I told her, since she never told us it would be $4.50 more, we felt it was wrong, and would only be paying what we should have been charged. She then said, she would call the police! She escalated the situation to a fever pitch! We paid the bill of course, just to end this craziness. We told her that, just last week we went to the Deerpark location and had No Problem whatsoever. Our waitress was a doll, and we had a great experience! She called us liars! She even called over to that location to check if they do such a thing. Obviously, they did, and they do! The whole experience was plain awful!
Food was good. Forty minutes for the drive through. Seems they need a new plan. Of course everything was cold.
I totally love this place and I am not a huge steak eater. Their food was great along with their customer service. You don't go home hungry.
We order 2 to go orders at 6 p.m. It is now 9 p.m. and we are still in the parking lot waiting for a text that our food is ready. NEVER AGAIN!

Pre-ordered rolls for Thanksgiving. Waited for over an hour with the window staff taking an average 10-15 minutes per customer to check out. WILL NEVER DO THIS AGAIN. The worst!
We were seated at a booth when we waited for a table to become available. Then a server (simon) brought us water we ordered 2 sodas forgot our bread when we FINALLY order I want the Sautee filets over rice my only thing was I can't eat onions. The menu says nothing about this meal having onions, however I 100% of the time make sure, well needless to say after waiting forever our food came to the table cold not Luke warm cold! So they took it I said we don't have time to wait for it to be recooked just warm it up, we'll you guessed it the manager comes over and let's me know they are remaking it errrr then when it finally does come out it full of onions. Now I'm done and ask to speak to the manager. He cones to the table and says I know your upset it will pass. As crazy as that was it gets better I pay for the bill which was $50.04 with 100 bill my change never comes back now we are late picking up our grandson I again ask for the manager tell him I need my change I already left a very undeserving tip and he brings me a $30 dollar gift certificate so now I have not eaten I just got robbefor my $50 in change.
Online wait list. Don't bother. My device said 10 minutes I wasn't on the list. Won't go back! I'm done!

Husband is upset they no longer offer the Shiner Bock draft beer. He said he mainly went there for that
