“I could neither log in or reset my password”

I was doing survey for around 10 mos and was happy able to earn some awards. However, 3 days ago I could not log in with the error "authentication failed. Please try again. After a number of tries decided to contact Toluna. They replied and requested that I reset my password to a link they provided which I already did. But until now I am still waiting for an email that will allow me to reset my password.

Spent 2.5 hours answering every question in 14 of their surveys. Nothing was recorded in the end and I did not receive the points. Trying to get help Toluna was futile. What an absolute waste of time!

I tried this qebsite for many years so far, and I can confidently say it is one of the most descent survey websites.I always change my points into a gift card that I use for shopping in UAE.

I worked very hard and finally got enough points to redeem and then they closed my account saying i violated their rules and they kept my money! I asked them what i did and they would not reply. DO NOT JOIN TOLUNA

Got to a good amount to redeem your points and then they shut your account for a "violation" you have committed when you haven't. Scam to get you to do surveys with no reward.

I have cashed out a few times now not to mention I won a prize of 2800$ American from them back in 2011. I would have given them four stars but because I won cash from them they get five :)

Just read the reviews across numerous sites. I was a panelist for years and suddenly, after accumulating over 60,000 points, was unable to access my account. No explanation or notice. After numerous inquires to Customer Service, I finally get an ambiguous non-answer as follows:
"While granular details about this quality report cannot be disclosed in order to protect the integrity of our panel as well as the quality of our research that we give to our clients, we can confirm upon further checking in our database, that the suspension was placed following flags triggered by responses that could not pass our quality checks.

As per the Site's Terms of Use and Membership to which users agree upon registration, we reserved the right to suspend or block access to the site in situations when we concluded that the activity that could jeopardize the quality and legitimacy of survey responses and the security of our panel."
Total load of BS with no specifics. This company likes to use its panelists and then discard them when theyve accumulated a lot of points. BTW... when they close your account without notice or explanation... they KEEP your earned rewards! I'm filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and similar regulatory where this company does business (Ontario and London). My advise is to STAY AWAY. Too many reputable survey companies out there to bother with this shady one!

Tip for consumers:
Read the reviews. Countless panelist accounts have been deleted and they lost their rewards, with no clear explanation.

If you are looking for the largest fraud site in the world, Toluna occupies the first position in fraud, because I am working on it accurately, and without violating any conditions for the site, and suddenly the site closed my account without any reason, and I contacted the failed support team, so he told me that I violated the conditions, but he did not It gives me any details because it is a liar

I have been engaging 3 survey companies (Octopus, Pure profile and Toluna) but Toruna is defenately the WORST. 90% of their surveys does not pay/work. The worst thing is that Toluna tells you to not pay after you spend 20-30 mins to answer all questions. Other survey companies pay at least 10 cent if survey is full or not qualified but Toruna does not compenste at all.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND TOLUNA. Simply waste your time!

As you already know, we launch hundreds of surveys every day, each with their own specific respondent needs and targets. To make sure the surveys you answer are right for you, we have put in place a screening process at the beginning of each survey to ensure you fit the target group.

Sometimes, determining whether someone is part of the target demographic for a survey takes just a few questions other times, it may take more questions. It can also happen that you access a survey for which our system detects that the quota for your group profile has been reached. In such cases you are automatically redirected to a new survey opportunity.

This usually happens in the first half of the survey, however, if and when this happens towards the end of a questionnaire, it might be the result of a quality check (when the client sets specific questions to ensure the consistency and validity of the answers provided).

I have been a member of Toluna for about 10 years. I used to do a lot of surveys on the site but found that I wasn't really earning many rewards because the number of points needed for anything was pretty large. I also found that because I didn't have enough points to cash out, at different time points, some of what I did have would expire so that my balance would actually slide backwards pushing me farther away from a reward. While I used to get survey invitations that would give me large chunks of points, I no longer really receive anything that give me a good amount for a reasonable amount of time spent on a survey. If I am going to spend 20-30 minutes on a survey I expect to get more than the equivalent of about $0.50. It is a good site to make extra money on if you have the time to do a large volume of surveys to get your rewards to accumulate quickly but if you can only take them from time to time then there are probably other sites that you should sign up for as well to maximize the amount you earn to the time you have and not have points taken away from you if they "expire" and you do not have enough to cash out.

So I racked up 9000 points with this lame site. After doing MULTIPLE surveys with them, I wanted to see what you can get with the points. So I go to the rewards center of their site and it F***KING says "Sorry, rewards not yet available in your country (USA)". WHAT?!? These idiots kept sending me surveys and can't even pay me out? WHY ARE YOU SENDING SURVEYS to someone who cant cash out? And why can't you figure out how to give rewards to USA residents? That seems so lame and unprofessional. So I had to cancel my account with them and forfiet my WORTHLESS 9000 points that I wasted my time getting. Thanks alot Toluna. Oh, and I wonder what all the companies that PAY YOU to get the survey info from people would think if they knew you were SCREWING USA residents who take your surveys. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE, One of the WORST survey sites with NO REWARDS FOR US residents. LOL WTF? Do right and send me a check for those 9000 points suckers.

UPDATE AFTER TOLUNA RESPONSE: Their reply makes no sense. Yes, I did include login problems in my query, however their auto responses didn't even mention this, let alone send instructions. I am still pushing for evidence of why they feel it necessary to suspend my account permanently. Waiting, Toluna, waiting...

I joined a few weeks ago and was enjoying doing the surveys. Honesty and integrity are hugely important to me and I gave a lot of thought to all my survey responses. I have, and still do, complete surveys for other companies as well.
I earned enough points for a £20 Amazon voucher and this is when the true colours of Toluna are seen.
They sent an email saying they were sorry but could not process my reward and the points would go back on my account. At the same time, they blocked access to my account! No explanation given.
I contacted customer service and just got back another 3 emails exactly the same as the original one.
I mailed again the next day to say I hoped those auto emails were not their reply to my query and I await a personal response, answering my queries.
I received another 3 emails in response, exactly the same as previously, so now have 7 duplicate emails telling me nothing other than they cannot process my reward.
Reading reviews, I am far from the only person they are doing this to.
My assumption is that they are taking payment from their clients, a portion of which should be given to the people completing the surveys, and keeping the whole lot themselves. Really shady behaviour.
Fortunately, I have kept quite a bit of info about the surveys I completed, so will be contacting some of their clients to advise of Toluna's tactics.
If Toluna are questioning my integrity, which I'm guessing is the case, it is only right that their clients know that they should not be paying Toluna for apparently inaccurate information.
That's not the only thing I will be doing if I don't receive a satisfactory response from Toluna.
How dare they withhold money for work undertaken in good faith, and lie about returning the points.

I'm a veteran survey guy. Toluna contacted me recently and asked me to do surveys for them. So I like to set goals. It takes ******* points to earn a Amazon $50.00 gift card. I can earn one usually in about a month or so doing surveys along with other activities. So the first day I earned ******* points very easily I worked 2-3 hours. The next time I tried I would complete a survey I would get erer message when it came time to credit my points so I completed 5 surveys and they pocketed my earnings. I then tried my cell and it worked I completed a number of survey s around 10,000 points. Then next day I had ******* points. I then put forth the effort to try to achieve my goals. I would complete a survey and I get the erer message or I completed a survey and I would get a message when my account was susposs to be credited the survey is full or you don't qualify after I have done all the work. Over the last few weeks I have been able to complete a lot of surveys on my phone. But none have been credited to my account. It says it can take up to 6 weeks for the points to hit and then, another 4 weeks to get your gift card. But I wanted to give it an honest try. I believe it is a scam. Maybe over a year you might see some thing. But I dout it something is not right. Don't waist your time.
