They really dove in to what my resume needed and got it into great shape! I am very impressed! A lot of times with these online services it's a toss up with what you get, but I'm going to be sure to use them again going forward
The results I get from my brand new resume, cover letter and LinkedIn page are phenomenal. It was user friendly and done very quickly. Customer service was fast and friendly. The only part of my experience I was disappointed with was the Recruiter.com Resume Distribution Service. I DO NOT recommend this as it is no different than signing up for job alerts on any recruiting website. It is mostly spam and no real prospects, its more harm than help to have to sort through scam interviews and recruiters.
I held a job for a long time before being "awakened" recently by being laid off. I had not even thought about updating my resume for years. TopResume asked good questions and portrayed me right. Moreover, my consultant knew what are now considered the "dos and don'ts" of resume drafting today, something about which I had no clue. After several drafts, the final result was highly appreciated by me.
I worked with Jay at TopResume. It took us, working together about a week, to complete my cover letter and resume. Jay did all the work, l only had to ask for revisions if I wanted them or make the changes for his review and thoughts. It was fast easy and very professional. Many likes on my new resume. Thanks TopResume and thank you Jay. Oh, 2 job offers in the first week.

They barely even tell you what is going on. They don't even ask you any questions outside of sending them your resume and a couple of questions. They say its a very collaborative process, but it is not. They don't really respond to emails. Also, it took them forever to assign me a writer. I had to complain before they gave me one. I asked for a refund prior to them starting to write my resume, but they said all sales are final. I would never use this service again. Don't bother wasting your time unless you think some guy throwing your resume together in 30 minutes on a Sunday night is worth 200 dollars
I submitted my resume for review over a week ago. After receiving communications from Katie Warren and actually thinking that she could help me land a new job I went with a payment plan for a total rewrite. It is now exactly one week later and I have not heard one word from my so called "writer". I emailed both her and Katie only to get an email stating she would have the writer contact me as soon as possible.
I have now requested a full refund as I have yet to receive one thing from them and they do promise a refund or your money back.
Lets see if they do... will keep y'all posted.

Final resume contained a typo that I did not notice until the resume was used for a few applications.
Process is easy to follow.
I would recommend this company to fellow job seekers. Their service is prompt and courteous. Their resume writer was also very professional and at the same time maintained a good human touch. I haven't yet got a job, but it's only been a week and I am getting more calls from recruiters than before.
I worked with Barbara P. And she provided me with a very professional and clean marketing tool of myself. We were able to capture everything I was looking for with only one revision, I wish would have had Barbara freshen up my Linkedin profile when they offered me that service at a discounted rate.
So let me start with the bad. Which of course, the price. It is expensive, but so is pretty much anywhere you get your resume done. It is actually quite a bit cheaper than some other places I saw.
I thought the person who did my resume did a fantastic job. I am in the culinary field and she had a great understanding of how to sell my good points. There were a few revisions but they were fixed perfectly. A+ from me

Answer: Be careful with this company. They post 1000s of fake reviews to hide the real ones. Note that they do not post their phone number or address on the website. I had to file with the BBB to get a refund after never being contacted. This is a SCAM company - you are better off writing your own resume, trust me on this

I've been assigned 3 different writers and have received a subpar product back each time, written by someone who's first language is clearly not English. The best part, I paid $100+ for a "LinkedIn Rewrite" and this was where the writer copied and pasted their version of my resume into the boxes for LinkedIn. You've got to be kidding me... Don't waste your money!

My original resume, cover letter and LinkedIn are far better products than what I've received from TopResume. If you are thinking of using this service, please PASS.
