I was a little skeptical of how the process would work out after finding out that I would not be able to speak with my writer. But I filled out the survey and sent in my previous resume and added some other details I wanted to highlight. Voila! Before I knew it I had a much better resume and a great cover letter. Overall, I was satisfied with the process.

To be honest, there were some hiccups at the beginning. It took some time for TopResume to patch me to my writer, and a lot of deadlines were violated in the process. However ever since then the results were fairly consistent and I shared a prompt communication with my writer. The final draft looked neat and professional.

This was my first time having my resume professionally written. I was not sure what to expect, however, I was pleased. Ascetically speaking, the resume looks awesome and sounds very professional. Tony was very patient and tried to help me further when I was unsure how to make my resume a little more general. Tony explained the importance of having a very specific resume and offered to help with keywords to get me past the ATS that hiring managers use. I have not had any interviews yet, but hopefully they will come soon.

Overall top resume did a pretty good job with my cover letter and resume. They changed the format, wording and over all I'm very pleased. I wish there would have been a little more personalization with the process maybe a phone call with the writer. I often would ask a question about something in my resume and they would just delete it and not explain the reasoning.
If I could sum up the experience in three words: They get you. I bought the resume, cover letter, and linkedIN package. I haven't finalized my last element but the delay has been on my part. They are proactive and quick to turn out and turnaround your documents based on your edits and areas of emphasis. They are well formatted, and easily adaptable products. You couldn't ask for more.

Answer: Be careful with this company. They post 1000s of fake reviews to hide the real ones. Note that they do not post their phone number or address on the website. I had to file with the BBB to get a refund after never being contacted. This is a SCAM company - you are better off writing your own resume, trust me on this

I've been assigned 3 different writers and have received a subpar product back each time, written by someone who's first language is clearly not English. The best part, I paid $100+ for a "LinkedIn Rewrite" and this was where the writer copied and pasted their version of my resume into the boxes for LinkedIn. You've got to be kidding me... Don't waste your money!

Answer: Don't waste your money. All of these "reviews" are probably fake. I actually paid them $189 and never even got a usable resume. Find a better company. These guys are crooks!
