I needed to give my resume some new life so I found TopResume and they were great to work with. I chose to do the resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile review and Alena was amazing to work with! She took several samples that I provided her and returned all three items within one week (resume within a day) and they were all very well done and I didn't even see a need to do a revision. Overall outstanding service and would recommend to anyone looking to breathe some fresh air into their resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile.

I have to say that I was a little worried if this would be worth it. I bit the bullet and did it and can't be any happier. I have been looking for jobs for about a month and there was a day that I started to use my new resume... and it is like night and day. I have gotten a lot of interviews lined up with the job reqs that I used my new resume... way more then before I got my new resume. So it has been a great experience and happy to have done it. My writer, Paula did a fantastic job! I sent her alot of information, and she was very thorough in her follow up questions, asking me detail that hadn't even occurred to me. My TopResume writer did an AWESOME job with my resume and cover letter - it was worth every penny! I wanted to switch industries and was really stressed about how to take my current duties and frame them for a totally different career, and my writer NAILED it. I received a call within a few hours from the first company that I applied with, and both hiring managers complimented my resume as one of the best they had seen. Very please overall!

As a project manager, I've reviewed hundreds of resumes and seen plenty of things that I've liked and didn't like. However, when it came to my own resume, it was difficult to take an objective look at what should be kept, cut, reworded, or prioritized. TopResume was able to take that objective outside look at my resume and really focus on what was important. Then ensured that all the "key words" were used and the formatting was more presentable.

I honestly thought my resume was fine, but I decided to have it critiqued anyway. I was so surprised to receive an extremely detailed email about different aspects of my resume that can be improved and examples of how I can change them. It wasn't just about how my bullet points were written, but about the appearance and the overall impression that it gives of my experience. TopResume uses the same type of scanning machines that many companies use when reviewing resumes, so it is really helpful to see how your resume is read through those machines. What can I say other than the resume I received was laughed at by a number of reviewers and two recruiters told me that it looked dated, convoluted and hifalutin. I was told by a number of people that it was unprofessional looking and hard to read. Stay away from TopResume. They are a group of people out to make money on those that really need help. I felt like I was getting kicked off a lifeboat. When I had a problem, it took them over a week to decide if they could help and ultimately they said we can't give you any type of refund, but we will re-write the resume for you. Really?! Stay away from TopResume. They should be called BottomResume.

My resume was reviewed and changed to become not only more visually appealing, but also much more emphasized on my accomplishments rather than just tasks completed.

I engaged TopResume to redo my resume, create a cover letter, and to redo my LinkedIn page. They promised to have an initial draft of my resume completed in a week, and I received the first draft within 2 days. I submitted questions and suggested changes twice within 4 days, and had the final copy of my resume completed on day 6. Very impressive. A day after completing my resume, I had the cover letter and text for the LinkedIn profile the very next day. I was very impressed with the service. While there were no official typos, in some cases there were some minor issues I needed to modify. This was minor and I was very happy with the results. I'm using them to create two different resumes for me in addition to the first (for different industries).
