I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
This was a total joke. I have not had an interview since using this service, and I have four college degrees and fifteen years experience in my field. Resume came with wrong facts and figures, misspelled words, and a number of accomplishments left out. I contacted them twice asking for a refund and did not get a response. Wow. Awful customer service. I disputed the charges with my credit card company today and I plan on filing a BBB complaint. STAY AWAY!

My resume was out of date, and I felt like I should update it. I have a good job already, however, and therefore wasn't terribly motivated to update it on my own.
Alana was very quick to reformat my resume. She came up with great action verbs and was able to quickly summarize my experience in a way that made me sound much more impressive than I could make myself. (I'm too modest.) She was also very responsive to edits. This was a great experience. I'll probably enlist TopResume's help again when I actually start job searching.

Here is how they operate:
TopResume cleverly embeds itself in a regular Job Hire website.
Then entices you to get your resume done.
You send in your "old" resume and get back a form letter that says you are a "Doer, not an Achiever". You place an order.
A different entity (foreign-sounding) collects the payment (check your CC transaction).
You notice that the office appears to be in Redwood CA.
Then the headquarters is also in NY *******.
They promise 7 days within which the entire resume process would be completed.
You follow the rules, then wait 10 days and write to Melissa, and no answer!
Then you write to your so-called assigned writer, and no answer.
Then you freak out and start writing to the "company", Melissa and Katie for the next 8 days, and no answer.
I have asked American Express to alert MasterCard, Discovery and Visa about this "Merchant".
Just stay away from TopResume. They are a massive Scam Group!

I paid for the "expedited" service and was shocked that it took three writers and over 4 weeks for TopResume to "re-write" my resume. Their writers were clueless and could not even properly put together a summary of what I did that looked good. They basically re-formatted my resume and used the verbiage that I had previously give or take a few words. This is the 3rd resume service I've used over the past 15 years and the only one I've been displeased with. I recommend using anyone else. Don't go for their sale!

Because I was very unsure of what I even wanted in a resume, it was hard for me to give input or even answer the general questions in the beginning. Fortunately, my writer was very good and did way better than I ever expected. As I am someone who works with numbers, not words, it was just the service I needed. I wouldn't have minded if the price was a bit cheaper, but considering the market, it was one of the cheaper services. Once again, I am extremely grateful and humbled by my writer. She did an excellent job!

Top Resume will bug you with solicitations, promise you the best resume ever. Then once the find out your just a simple person that's been in the workforce for over 2 decades with no higher education, there not able to give the best resume. They basically asked me to outline a draft of my required resume before they could assist me. I had already sent a copy of one I had been using prior to requesting their services. I wish I would have never asked to use their services. Now they're telling me because they've already sent a draft before the date of June 7th, which my expected date of delivery for the draft. That I can't expect a refund. The draft sucks. There's false statements and allusion of things I didn't do. Despite the variety of gathered skills all within a customer service aspect; the resume writer was only able to direct me to a call center position which is not future goals or intentions. I could have stuck with what I had.

Quick turnaround, good work. I got their executive package and they pretty much redid everything for me, my linkedin, cover letter, resume, and a post interview thank you email. They got it all done in about a week and the guy I spoke to was professional.

Before I had the feeling that Top Resume would not produce a good resume due to the reviews I read from other forums. However, I have come to realise that all those reviews are a fake. Wow! This was fast, accurate and had an incredible turn around time. In 9 days, Nick transformed my resume in to an eye-catching, concise, snapshot of my last 15 years of experience. I had a good resume rewrite experience with my writer Paul where over a couple of week period he provided a draft based on questions I had answered along with additional correspondence. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs help with a resume. I was in the midst of changing careers and my resume was not sticking out to any recruiters. I was hopeful, somewhat disappointing. Explaining to the person assisting me, they did not really understand my circumstances & needs.
My resume & cover letter do not work for someone who has worked for over 20+ yrs., the writer just did not understand that.
Perhaps they get paid per resume & cover letter, so be it, lesson learned on my part.
