However capitalization errors, sentence structure and order of words required editing. Grammerly found over 40 errors on a two page resume.
I think the service is probably better suited to those job hunters who are starting from scratch. I paid $399 for the Executive Priority Resume Writing Package + Personal Phone Call, but wasn't too impressed with parts of the service.
Resume: I had pretty good format and bullet structure going in, so a lot of the verbiage stayed the same or was just moved around within the bullet. However, I did see improvement in it being more results-based and concise. I feel like my summary is much better focused too.
Cover Letter: I wasn't as impressed with the cover letter, but it made for a decent starting point for me. I felt like it was probably a template that was modified a tad and then sent to me. Didn't feel very personalized and some of it didn't really make sense. Like I said, a good starting point and required modification on my part.
Phone Call: I was disappointed with the phone call since a lot of the time seemed to be wasted reading from a template describing the writing philosophy and not so much talking about and modifying the product. It wasn't worth $50 and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. Your can just as easily get the same feedback via email.
LinkedIn Profile: I would also not recommend the LinkedIn profile update. I would be embarrassed to upload what I was given and therefore I didn't even use it. And this was even after I asked for a rewrite. I wasn't happy with the product at all.
Good experience, writer was very creative! Worked on a timely basis to review my changes and concerns!
It was a disappointing waste of time to try and fix all the mistakes the resume service made with my resume. They call it collaboration but they make you do all the work. Might be helpful for entry-level workers but I found their resume version to be a tragic downgrade from the one I wrote myself.
Was really dissapointed with the service and overall experience. Would give 0 if I could.
First off the writer did not seem to know anything about creating a linkedin page.
Basically took my resume and sent it back as is. Then told me to copy and paste in my linkedin profile. I objected and stated I wanted different than my resume... the whole point of hiring their services.
I was then sent the same text with very little and subtle changes. And now no recourse as contract states only 1 change/review of original text is allowed.
Complete waste of money...
I do not recommend!

This service is timely and they are very responsive. They leveled up my resume to be more executive than even a private service did for me. The cover letter was also well done. I would definitely use them again.
For over a month, I have struggled with multiple writers to provide something at least resembling an executive level resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile update.
They have met my every feedback email with a response trying to defend their outputs which read as though a barely-literate eighth grader wrote them. I have had to explain basic English language concepts to them multiple times, and they still do not understand.
They butchered my resume into something that does not even remotely resemble my industry experience, and the cover letter clearly shows the writer has no concept of what my resume reflects that I actually do for a living.
Never would I submit to a potential employer the drivel these people gave me. The employer would think me an utter moron.
Do not waste your money with this place. Their incompetence knows no bounds.
They were happy to take my money but not provide quality service. They clearly use people who don't speak english as a first language, and it seems likely they use non employee contractors. I paid for linked in, resume, and cover page. They have not even started on my Linked in and its been over a week! The guy just copied and pasted generic junk that didnt even make sense. (see the attached picture, the items under "skills i bring to your company" on the cover letter are not even logical, they were copied and pasted) I wrote that in red letters and sent it back, i had to wait 72 hours for a response and the writer sent back the exact same document he sent the first time. I contacted customer care and they gave a generic "were so sorry" response, then told me "its best to use different color writing to give your writer notes. I sent them an email back and showed them that's exactly what i did, they just gave generic apology and said they dont offer refunds. I didnt even ask for a full refund, all i asked for was to have what i paid refunded down to the Resume and Cover page package a reduction of approximately 1/3 cost. I stated i wanted to do no further business with them and didn't want them touching my linked in since they clearly just copy and paste generic text and junk, and that its been over a week and they haven't even touched it. I also stated i would make no online negative reviews and move on, which they clearly dont care about either. News flash, some customers like myself who were laid off, need the quick return time they advertise. Time is important to start getting resumes out as higher end management positions can take up to 4-6 weeks on average to find work. I went to do a review on their home web page, and shocker they dont even have the option. Any company that doesn't allow reviews on a web page clearly doesn't stand behind their product or services. The resume has format errors, i brought that up to the writer and he basically said its not an issue. Random sentences int he document have double spacing, its clear as day, however when you try to delete the extra space it won't allow you. This company is super shady and i regret giving them my money for the full package as they dont care who they hire, dont hold up to the standards they claim, and then when you offer a reasonable option to settle the matter they tell you tough luck. I wish i had gone with a local company here in Utah, they were the same price and had a return time guarantee.

Answer: It depends, if you want to pay for a mediocre format riddled with errors that has the language equivalent of a high-schooler. You will end up paying $100 for something you could have sat down and done in an hour and a half.

Answer: Be careful with this company. They post 1000s of fake reviews to hide the real ones. Note that they do not post their phone number or address on the website. I had to file with the BBB to get a refund after never being contacted. This is a SCAM company - you are better off writing your own resume, trust me on this

I've been assigned 3 different writers and have received a subpar product back each time, written by someone who's first language is clearly not English. The best part, I paid $100+ for a "LinkedIn Rewrite" and this was where the writer copied and pasted their version of my resume into the boxes for LinkedIn. You've got to be kidding me... Don't waste your money!

Answer: Don't waste your money. All of these "reviews" are probably fake. I actually paid them $189 and never even got a usable resume. Find a better company. These guys are crooks!
