I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
I am changing careers and I worked with Carla to revamp and redo my cover letter and resume. She was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions. One minor thing that I think the company should think about as a whole is explaining the process of changing the resume. I would have liked it explained to me why certain changes were being made, why the new way was more effective, etc. in order to be more confident in the process and really appreciate the changes being made. Also, those explanations would help me in the future if I needed to add/delete/modify my resume.

I published my own Resume to many online sites. I received only one email asking if I would be interested in a sales job. I'm a software programmer and I was growing frustrated trying to find a new job opportunity.

This company is amazing and I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

I purchased the executive package thinking, the more you spend the better it will be. I was very wrong, they did a half way decent resume, but me not knowing what to address in the resume assumed they did it right. I also paid for the resume rabbit service that would supposedly put my resume all over the internet, which was also bs. After 2 weeks of no calls I called them back and asked for a rewrite and they notified me that I have to wait a minimum of 2 months for them to do it. Also, the resume rabbit just gives you links to other resume posting services, what a scam. They also stated that if I attempt to use another resume that they will not do the rewrite. I have gone now for over a month and a half with no calls and honestly I was getting my action from the resume I wrote myself. Please do not waste your money and find someone else or you will be like me pissed off writing reviews because you were basically scammed out of your money! BEWARE...

After submitting my old cv and explaining new context for my career choices, the team was able to distill all and produce a crisp, very synthesized version of career history targeting my strengths for easy review by recruitment professionals. Top resume did a wonderful job with my resume. It is 100% professional looking and far better than I could have done on my own! They not only took the care to do a wonderful job, but my resume writer also reminded me that if I wanted any changes done I needed to do so by August 31st. She kept me on task and sent more than one reminder. Even though I waited till the last moment she still was able to adjust my resume and only needed one adjustment. I would recommend them to anyone!

I was pleasantly surprised to receive such a detailed review of my CV from Katie Warren, after I submitted my CV for a free review. The report indicated specific comments on what was wrong and clear examples of what would be better instead. I also was provided information on how would CVs be treated/read by recruiters hunting for the perfect applicant on this job market. Thank you for that insight.

I found TopResume through a promotion on Glassdoor. I had one bad experience with my resume presenting me all wrong in an automated system so I took TopResume up on a rewrite. Working with the writer was easy, she even worked over the Christmas holiday. Two days after I signed off on the resume I uploaded it for a job application and it came through perfectly. I got the interview and the job. I then hired them to update my LinkedIn account. All of this is giving me a much better public, professional presence. I highly recommend the service to anyone.

I had to ask for changes several times. The writer overexaggerated my importance and some of the functions I performed. Also contacts with higher ups were incorrect or not factual to the officers titles.
Several rewrites and now it is correct and proper.
Took extra effort, but in the end it was worth it. Got a Cover letter and Thank You letter as well.

Andrea did an amazing job revamping my resume. She really focused my resume on the skill set I wanted to put forth to focus on the positions I am looking for. I wanted a more professional resume and LinkedIn page even though I am not currently looking for a new job. I thought I should have it on hand in case I wanted to apply for an internal promotion, or just in case. I was blown away. My resume looks and reads by far the best it ever has. It showcases my skills and hides my weaknesses extremely cleverly. Even though I didn't "need" it, it was a completely worthwhile exercise, and if I do need to look for a new role, I'm ready.

I didn't want to have to pay to have my resume done. But I haven't written one in almost 2 decades and I knew what I had, was not good enough. My previous resume was written by a professional and I updated it when it was necessary. However, it was old. I was getting bites, but not offers. I took a chance with Topresume and am completely happy with the results. The wordiness has been removed and replaced with a simple occupational statement that includes all the key words that people and resume scanning programs are looking for. It look s so much more professional. It is still new, so I do not know how successful it will be. In my work i always see way to work better. I know that many ideas have little impact. And boss never accept suggestions. But as usual boss apply suggestions later as if was a boss genius idea. I think the LinkedIn should be included as it's a copy and paste job. I basically waited for them to create one and give me the log in or ask for my log in but mostly had to take from the resume. The only real benefit was copy/paste of some of the bullet stars; however, it doesn't format correctly and took a lot of time to try and get a formatting that never really panned out. It's too early in the game to determine interview/profile view wise. I have reposted resumes and sent out some but no responses.
I also had no real expectations other than what were my own. Part of it was a series of questions that helped me answer or realize some of my own strengths. So, it's kind of like thank you for helping me help myself... sort of. I've never had to really rely or need a resume so I didn't know what I needed. All I know was my last one didn't sell me enough but unsure about this one at the moment.

Top Resume has been a terrible experience for me. After receiving one very rough draft of a resume from my writer and immediately providing feedback, communication was ostensibly cut off. Days would go by and when I requested the latest draft, I was told I would receive it "soon." After about 2 weeks, and their deadline for feedback passing, I requested a refund because none of the deliverables from my order has been received. Their reply was that they provide "intangible goods" and therefore do not give refunds. I told them that a complete resume is a very tangible good and it had been delivered.
They continued to deny a refund and I have been forced to ride it out with my resume writer replying sporadically. It all feels like an expensive scam at the moment and customers appear to have no meaningful recourse when the product(s) they ordered are not delivered.
