The experience was incredibly seamless. However, for the price tag, I would have expected a little bit more guidance on where this would place me in my job application process (i. E. should I include past work experience, etc.). My writer was amazing and incredibly quick, but so far I haven't received any offers for an interview. I was also really confused as to why he listed my Masters's program as work experience, so I'm hoping this doesn't hinder my chances. I'm optimistic, but we'll see. I'm giving it 4 stars because of how well regarded their services are and how quick and friendly the process was. I think the proof is in the pudding and we'll just have to wait and see on it.

I already did a review on the site and it was detailed. I would recommend you look there. Look under Diane Jensen. I really enjoyed working with Andy W for my interview prep because he was genuinely concerned and interested that I do well. Tanya was the person who did the rewrite of my resume and she did a great job. I think she has too large of a work load because I paid $79 to get my resume back in 2-3 days and she didn't get it back in that time frame. Otherwise everything else was great.

Going from a career of 24 years to a completely different field, it was difficult for me to tie everything together. I took a chance and enlisted the professionals for assistance. I could not be more satisfied. They took the time to get to know about me and not just rush to put words on a form. I ended up with a resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile which were all stunning! The LinkedIn profile generated immediate attention. I could not be happier, and I definitely recommend TopResume to anyone looking to enhance their professional presence!

Beware of this resume writing service. First, they draw you in by offering a free review of your resume with a clearly experienced and seasoned resume writer. Then when you sign up, they switch you to a less experienced writer who is not even given the review notes that the first resume writer provides. They then send you the resume (in my case on a Friday night) and say you have only 7 days to work out a final form of it with them online (or if you chose the live 30 minute consultation for $50,7 days to complete the phone call). They do not send you a draft of the LinkedIn Profile or Cover letter att the same time they send the draft resume. My draft resume had typos, grammatical issues and most importantly, a Job Title that demonstrated the writers complete unfamiliarity with titles in corporate law sector. TopResume is associated with AARP and one would assume AARP would only affiliate with the best but that simply isn't the case with TopResume -- or maybe its the case you get what you pay for!

I ordered the premium package. First off, the work was late and there was NO communication that it would be late. I found out by logging in to check the status AFTER the due date. Then, the work arrived with grammatical and form errors that a junior high student would notice in proofreading- failure to capitalize words, etc. There were also requests for me to provide information that was readily available on my LinkedIn profile which was allegedly reviewed as part of the process. The LinkedIn profile update was basically for me to cut and paste the resume info? What? Makes NO sense. Attached to that was a cut and paste set of LinkedIn best bets- 100% of which were already in place on my profile. I messaged them and waited for a response to my request for a call to discuss my disappointment with the results- still waiting for a reply. I would not use this service again. Maybe I was assigned the wrong person as my professional writer- I won't be recommending them

I called in and ordered Top Resume's $219 package. The sales rep that took my order hung up on me as soon as the Credit card transaction went through!

Decide for yourself if that's the kind of service you want to pay for as I will never call or click on your link again!

Shaun S and I were first in contact 02/20/2022. I had high hopes for this service as I struggle greatly with verbiage and was in desperate need for a strong resume that showcased my career thus far. Shaun sent over his first draft, and asked for further information information. I gave him all the information he needed and he sent over a second draft. I was extremely underwhelmed with this draft and even put it through a few different scanners seeing if it met the criteria for the jobs I was searching for. Shuans draft came back with LESS of a match than my own original resume! I still gave this draft a shot and sent it over to the hiring manager of a company I wanted to work for. And as you guessed, the resume didn't pass what they were looking for.
I gave this information to Shuan and asked for my resume to include the skills that I have, he told me hed get back to me with another draft.
This "revised" draft was word for word of the previous one he sent over. So what did he change you ask? He moved the education between my career section to make it appear as if he had gone through and revised it in the manner that I asked. Draft one read as follows, from top to bottom Education - Work Ex - Work Ex. Draft two read Work Ex- Education- Work Ex. That was it! That's all he did! Completely dishonest work. When you are paying shy of $200 for your resume and cover letter to be written for you, you expect that person to take on the process seriously and work with integrity. TopResume doesn't refund once the writing process has started. Needless to say, if youre looking for a quality resume and cover letter writer, look elsewhere. See attached proof

After many years of using the same resume format, I decided it was time for a new resume reflecting my experience, and that would work w the technology in use by HR software, etc. The writer was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and I would recommend their resume service.
