I used this site to book a local hotel about 5 days in advance. It was a great price, but non refundable. I didn't think much of it at first, but ended up googling reviews about the site since I hadn't used them before. There were so many bad reviews that my anxiety got the better of me. I ended up emailing them right away asking for further confirmation and any type of guarantee that the booking went through. They responded a few hours later saying they confirmed with the hotel and sent me the hotel's confirmation number. They also sent me a text with a special "VIP" phone number to call if there were issues (the number was indeed different than their regular number). When I got to the hotel, check in was completely smooth! Not a single issue! I was in shock that I somehow managed to get a room in a 4 star hotel SO steeply discounted, especially from a site that so many were calling a scam. That being said, I'm not sure I would use this site to book anything outside of the country, or even outside of my state. The other negative reviews still make me wary. I'm giving them 4 stars for a couple reasons. 1) I have 3 separate confirmation numbers from them, and only one actually matches the hotels confirmation number format, and 2) they seemed to respond to emails rather quickly, but they included numerous grammatical errors and were rather vague, didn't help much to soothe my worries.
SCAM SCAM. Went to hotel on the day and traveluro hadn't sent our booking to the hotel at all. Called customer service with international number with huge roaming cost and was told it would be rectified. Called again & Was told twice that an agent would call me back but no result. Stuck at hotel for last 3 hours waiting for their response. Not sure if I book another hotel in higher price now and have to follow them up for refund. Better to avoid them.
I booked something from 5th to 8th. The confirmed 4th to 7th. I instantly called them with in seconds. They had me wait in hold for hours, only for some nasty escalation moron denied to help in anyway. They told me to call the hotel myself, the hotel said the 3rd party should calll them. Now I'm waiting for hotel reservations to open so I can fix the dates with them. Anyhow traveluro sucks! I always use hotels tonight and they are helpful. Traveluro is straight up scum! I would put 0 stars if that was an option
You stole my money. I purchased on your site and it had an error. I re entered it and then it said, "insufficient funds." I called customer service and they put it on a prepaid hold and said it would drop off within 24 hours. My bank verified that you indeed took my money. Now I had to contact my friend and let her know that I won't be there because of this crap. I hate sites like this and I WILL NEVER USE THIS SITE AGAIN. YOU ARE THIEVES

I booked my hotel with the 4 months I'm advanced for a stay in Orlando. They emailed me and called me a day before my check in date telling me my hotel is overbooked and they have to give me an alternative one. I asked to talk to a supervisor they said there is no one that will pick up the phone to talk to me about a compensation for the troubles so I told him to rebook the new hotel. I'm 3 hours from check in time and they canceled me again and it took me 25 min to be on hold for them to answer and confirm the 2nd alternative and still saying they arnt giving me no compensation. This is ridiculous my rep was Pat and he was absolutely terrible.

Traveluro is a joke. As a travel agent, it does NOT reserve the hotel that you requested for. Its website claims that your reservation is 100% confirmed once you receive the reservation voucher but it is NOT true. After it received your money, it does not contact the hotel at all but wait until the last minute to reserve a RANDOM hotel for you. The voucher itself does not guarantee anything. You can treat it as toilet paper.
Shame on you, traveluro and those liars who work for this company!
I am working with my credit card company to dispute this charge and have told my credit card company that traveluro is a scam to protect other users from cheating by it.

I just called the hotel and they were unable to confirm my reservation. What does this mean?
There is no need for concern. Once you have received a confirmation email which includes the reservation voucher, your reservation is 100% confirmed and you are all set to go. It is common for hotels to wait until closer to check-in date before assigning specific rooms to guests. We will send you the final hotel confirmation number 24 hours prior to check in.

Stay away from traveluro as much as possible. It may seem attractive for its low pricing, but it does not provide you the hotel that you asked for. LOL. Then what is the point of using its service?
Traveluro is not a business they are criminals backed by the NYC District Attorney and Google. I booked through them and they sent an email saying the next email I get would be my reservation. The next email I got told me they took my money $436 but the fine print stated this was "not a confirmation of your booking please lookout for a separate confirmation email with details regarding your reservation. " Naturally I never received the reservation and when I got to the hotel they didn't have it. After being on hold for 12 minutes I hung up thinking something must be wrong cause no one would make you hold that long. I called back and waited 1 hour on hold until someone answered. She told me some nonsense about how "someone was working on your reservation still or maybe someone else was making a reservation at the same time which is why it didn't go through yet." I agreed to pay the hotel separately and cancelled the reservation. I am now in dispute and charging back on my credit card. Again these are criminals not a business. See redacted receipt below.

We had a medical situation and needed to change our reservation but could not get hold if anyone by phone or email or website. Now I rescheduled with the hotel and had to pay again.
It is not possible to reach a customer service agent even after 10,15 or 30 minute wait! Worst customer service I have ever seen in my life! Also charges accounts fraduantly! Customers beware!
I call their support teams was told I would hear something from them within an hour. They did call me back. Then I get a email the next day saying they can't help me and I won't be getting a refund

My experience with Traveluro really good.
I booked 2 hotels with them in mexico city and Oaxaca. I found them trivigo, and was directed to their websites from trivigo and based on the amazing rates they were offering I booked with them. After that I read all the reviews and freaked out. I even thought all the positive reviews were fake. But Now I think it is pretty unfair to give them bad reviews. I booked 2 hotels with them with amazing deal, I reached out to them through email and got Reponses regarding my confirmation number, they got back to me in less that 24 hours even they sent a follow up survery to make sure they are maintaining their quality.

If you try to call them be aware that I tried on two separate occasions to contact them by phone and hung up after 30 minutesof continuous ringing both times!

I booked and paid for my room and upon arrival was informed by the hotel that they weren't paid on their end so I was forced to pay for the room a second time.
I booked a mini moon for my husband and I because we couldn't afford a full on honeymoon, we ended up getting covid and even though our trip was non refundable I reached out to see if they could possibly refund us. After sending proof and jumping through hoop after hoop, they lied to me multiple times, tried to blame the hotel we booked through them and then AGREED TO REFUND ME. Only to never send the refund. They are liars and crooks. Do not use them.
I have used this site to book a hotel for 3 nights in Woodbridge NJ from 10th Feb 2023 to 12th Feb 2023. After reaching the hotel I found the hotel did not have hot water, I called Traveluro they said they will cancel the reservation and I will get my money back in 2 hrs.
As of today (Feb 18th) I still didn't get my money back, when ever I call their customer service they transfer to another department where no one answers or phone gets disconnected after keeping me waiting for hours.

Booked Hotel reservation with Traveluro and when I arrived at the hotel they didn't have my information. I called Traveluro to resolve the matters and I was put on hours, then told I would get a callback and ended up having to call them back And got put back on hold…. FRAUD!
I should have read the reviews of this Traveluro site first! Booked the Hampton Inn Downtown KC online. When I got to the the hotel they did not have anything from Traveluro so I had to pay for room again. After contacting Traveluro they said they would get the Hampton Inn paid so I could get reimbursed after paying for the hotel the 2nd time. After waiting over 2 weeks I finally contacted my Credit Card to dispute the charges that Traveluro never provided. I actually paid less money for the hotel than i did with Traveluro!

However when I did reach out the representative said they won't refund even though they had promised I would be receiving one. I asked them to review the recordings and they stated they won't do that and kept their position. They recently started ignoring all of my emails. I have given them every opportunity to make this right and they have repeatedly shown me that they prefer to mislead and avoid any form of customer service.
UPDATE TO THE COMPANIES RESPONSE:
They finally responded to me after more than a month of ignoring multiple emails, stating they won't reach out to the hotel unless I have rewritten confirmation from the hotel they will get a refund from them. I'm asking them to send a single email that will take them less than 3 min. They offered no explanation of why they ignored multiple email and calls. They still have not refunded me even though the hotel has agreed to refund them.
Their Trustpilot response is a lie and they will continue to mislead customers. Traveluro is one of the worst companies I have ever worked with.

My boyfriend booked a hotel through Traveluro for 7/28-7/30. I came down with a stomach virus the day before our check-in so obviously we had to cancel because HELLO I was SICK! We tried to get in contact with Traveluro for TWO days and were finally able to reach someone on 7/29. We made it clear to them that we didn't want a refund, all we wanted to do was reschedule the hotel dates for 8/4-8/6. We even told them we were willing to pay a little extra to change the dates but that still wasn't enough! Long story short, they told us we couldn't do it due to their policy and that I had to provide medical documents to prove I had a stomach virus. Mind you, we had tried to reach them for TWO days! Traveluro has horrible customer service and I will for sure NEVER book with them. My boyfriend has filed a dispute with his bank and we are going to do everything we can to get his $447 back. To Traveluro, if you thought we were letting this slide... YOU THOUGHT WRONG!
So, I became ill and my trip had to cut short and hotel ensured me I will be able to get the refund if I contact third party company (Traveluro). This was back in January 2023. I contacted Traveluro about a current hotel reservation that I purchased as NON-refundable - which was MY first mistake. I contact them to ask to CHANGE the reservation - not refund it - I was told no. The reason I wanted to change was because my father-in-law died. We were going to visit him and before we got there he passed away. We wanted to change our booking to the weekend of the funeral but they would not accommodate us. I contacted the hotel directly and was told that they would allow us to change if Travel Eluro would contact me and let them know. Traveluro SAID NO. I will NEVER book with this company again and I advise you to be careful.

Avoid at all costs use a reputable company like Priceline or Hotwire. The worst support do not care about customers at all. Borderline of being a scam.
