I used this site to book a local hotel about 5 days in advance. It was a great price, but non refundable. I didn't think much of it at first, but ended up googling reviews about the site since I hadn't used them before. There were so many bad reviews that my anxiety got the better of me. I ended up emailing them right away asking for further confirmation and any type of guarantee that the booking went through. They responded a few hours later saying they confirmed with the hotel and sent me the hotel's confirmation number. They also sent me a text with a special "VIP" phone number to call if there were issues (the number was indeed different than their regular number). When I got to the hotel, check in was completely smooth! Not a single issue! I was in shock that I somehow managed to get a room in a 4 star hotel SO steeply discounted, especially from a site that so many were calling a scam. That being said, I'm not sure I would use this site to book anything outside of the country, or even outside of my state. The other negative reviews still make me wary. I'm giving them 4 stars for a couple reasons. 1) I have 3 separate confirmation numbers from them, and only one actually matches the hotels confirmation number format, and 2) they seemed to respond to emails rather quickly, but they included numerous grammatical errors and were rather vague, didn't help much to soothe my worries.
SCAM SCAM. Went to hotel on the day and traveluro hadn't sent our booking to the hotel at all. Called customer service with international number with huge roaming cost and was told it would be rectified. Called again & Was told twice that an agent would call me back but no result. Stuck at hotel for last 3 hours waiting for their response. Not sure if I book another hotel in higher price now and have to follow them up for refund. Better to avoid them.
I jumped at the chance to stay one night for under $50, expecting only a slight rise in final price for the tax collected. Not so, their fee took a $47 price tag up to $66. I could have stayed at a nicer, safer place than I did for that price. Also, unlike booking.com which I've been using for the rest of my road trip, their prices are non-refundable. Never again.
Completely misleading. Never told me the hotel I booked was for out of town people only. Then I could change any information or cancel my booking, no refund policy plus when you call customer service the phone keeps hanging up. Terrible company

Whenever I contacted traveluro, they said in their website it says "it doesn't apply for extra fees the hotel charges" like parking lot, WiFi, etc.

Booked our stay called hotel to confirm booking they did confirm we had a reservation. Drove all the way to Florida and when we got here they said we have res but says we didn't pay. Confirmed they took our money even showed the receptionist but she said they never gave them any money. Tried calling customer support and of course no answer. Now we have to pay for the room again or sleep in our car with 2 dogs. This site is a scam.
Very dishonest person, i had to cancel my hotel stay because of inclement weather and travelling with my kids, i did it 48 hours before, even though they told they will request the front desk actually they did not do anything. They just want to rip your money

Bottom line, this is how the scam works. You pay them and then they send an expired virtual card to the hotel as payment. Which of course the hotel doesn't honor

I called the support number that I eventually found at the bottom of the confirmation but none of the extensions work. Your call will just ring out.It was very frustrating.
These guys know that credit card companies won't cancel the transaction until it posts so it's up to you to follow up with the credit card company that you used.

Booked a date but needed it hange it. Trued reaching out and callinf through Phone and Email. Nobody called it ever put in the effort to contact me. On top of not changing my date that i wanted, they wont even give me a refund after I paid for room coverage. Worst experience ever!
This website is a scam! They will take your money and not pay for the hotel room you've booked. We arrived at the hotel we booked through them with the confirmation they said the booking company's card keeps declining on a 40$ room we tried to call them multiple times, they will put you on hold and hang up on you after 2 rings. I'm convinced anyone leaving a good review for them is in on the scam. I'm talking to the better business bureau tomorrow I suggest anyone else who's went through this should do the same thing. I really hope no one else has to go through this.
I booked a room to stay in Williams, CA on Feb 23. I checked several combinations of bed sizes with and without breakfast. There was a glitch in their booking website and it replaced my check-in date with Feb 19. I saw this as soon as I booked the room. I immediately called customer service and was told the booking was not changeable or refundable. I only wanted to correct the date. They offered to escalate my request, but there was never a response (email or call). They are forcing me into contesting my credit card charges.

We got to our room late. There was no air circulation and no working air conditioning. The doors were filthy and the room smelled stale. It was so hot we left at 0430. Called customer service to report the issue and because their terrible property manager told them there was no complaint, they are not compensating. Terrible customer service and do not recommend the hotel chain or traveluro.

Do not use this agency they're s a scam. They charged my account 262 dollars but never remitted to the hotel. I got to the hotel and they said they never remitted any money to them. I had to pay the hotel 251 dollars. Been trying to reach travel uro with no response. If you call their number it keeps dropping telling you all their operators are currently busy and they drop your call. Do not fall victim of this agency. I'm reporting them to by bank to dispute their charges.
Refused to provide a specific breakdown of taxes and fees, claiming it was impossible. Customer service rep agreed in writing to issue a partial refund to me, and has not responded to my emails or calls for the last two weeks. Don't deal with these folks. Google hotels should remove them
After checking in to a roach infested "4 start hotel" and grossed out place was shady. I called them and demanded either money back or book me in another hotel. Their 24 line for check in with in 24 hours is non existent! No one answers after 2 hours holding. Emailed 4 times no response. Driving 15 hours with a toddler I had to check in to another hotel and another expense. I'm currently on the line with my credit card company filing dispute. Please do not book through here! Their competition is much better. Wish I would have listen to my gut!
I booked a room and prepaid 3 months in advance. Received a receipt and confirmation number. Arrived at the hotel after a long day of travel only to discover the company had cancelled my reservation later that same day. I did not receive any communication about this cancellation, nor was my CC refunded. Choices were to pay day-of rates or sleep in the airport with kids. Contacted customer service by email with no response. Noticed that they do not have a 1-800 number so cannot call from Canada. Reported a disputed charge to Visa to have it finally dealt with. AVOID!
They show really cheap rates to get you on to their website then when you check out suddenly that good deal is no longer available as someone bought it. Right indiana in march is such the tourist destination. Dont waste your time with these fraudsters
Started price quote at. $81 going rate for similar hotels in same area $162. So check further new rate on following page was $90. Thought ok booked new price $115. Asked me to tip someone not sure who? Booked hotel suppose to be Fairfield inn. Found address after confirmation and once arriving. Is actually an old run down Comfort INN. So pretty much bait and switch. But with a no cancellation policy the good news is hotel is clean. I will never use Traveluro again to book anything.
Made reservations that were non refundable. I'm ok with that however I needed the date changed. A girl first told me that the hotel didn't have any rooms. (Huge lie...I looked right after I got off the phone and they had 5 rooms avilable for that date) then I called back and a different girl said she would call again and proceeded to tell me I would get an email within 24 hours. This company is not only liars, but make the extra click of a button and change a simple date. Again I didn't want to cancel just the date moved. Don't and I repeat don't use this company for anything. It would be a negative 5 stars if I could.

Just absolutely horrible service very deceiving and such big liars! No refund policy is a bunch of BS! I was scammed out of $280 at Hotel Name: The Champagne Lodge And Luxury Suites the room was down right filthy and infested with all kinds of bugs! I mean it was disgusting I complained and even showed pictures but denied me a refund! $50 for this so called breakfast
After reading certain reviews about this company. We double checked with our hotel and they had our booking and it was prepaid. Nothing to have worried about. Just checked in and no problems. Would definitely use again.
Reserved it. Within few mins credit card started getting charged showing I purchased like 8 or 9 transactions of Roblox. Had to disable my card and now I have to call them. But looking at the reviews, I don't think I will get my money back. One time I didn't research, this happened. Should have the reviews first. Pay few extra dollars instead and stay away from this scam.
I tries to cancel a hotel reservation only after 40 minutes if bad music to get an agent who puts me on hold forever... 8 minutes later she tells me she cannot give me a cancellation email or code... blah blah.
Spend the extra money, safe your sanity and save time. This is a SCAM. They depend on you losing patience. I am still on hold with the agent for over 7 minutes after waiting 39 minutes to get a live human. The website says you can cancel with a link on Manage Bookings but it DOES NOT EXIST.

I was looking to book this hotel, so I went onto Google and I see that traveluro is substantial less then all the other booking sites. All other sides show $598 and this site shows $340 a night. Red flags everywhere. I just read a whole bunch of reviews and it seems like this is a scam or they are leaving out a tremendous amount of information. If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't real.
