This company's practice of denying coverage for a life-saving medication is criminal. To expect the son of a war hero, who fought bravely for this Country, to pay $3000 per year for a specific medication he was used since 2014 is unacceptable. Time for a really good Class Action Lawsuit to make this company honest. Can we say Monsanto?! Its in the works, folks. And it will exceed $1Billion.

My husband's employer went with this company and we have never had such bad insurance. We pay 500 a month in premiums and they cover nothing. We cant get a prescription filled without it costing as much as it does without coverage. Using good rx is cheaper than using our insurance. Stay away from them.

Terrible customer service, very long hold times and mostly people who read from a script, not actually listen to the member's issue and respond in a manner that actually relates to what needs to be addressed. It's expensive insurance for what you actually get for coverage. For a company that claims to provide "value based coverage", I think that statement is more than slightly delusional.

If denying so many procedures I switched to Fidelis Care. The most egregious offense is the constant harassment of phone calls trying to get us back. At the least I request 20 times to stop calling. They promised to remove my number but they lied. I had to spend $80 for a call blocker.

Typically spend 20-45 minutes before we get thru to an actual person

Phone calls will raise your BP into the "danger zone"

A most ridiculous uncaring monopolistic-like mega corporation that has no clue about customer service

I feel sorry for you if you have to try to navigate their byzantine system... expect to be cut off in middle of calls. For calls to drop. For transferred calls switching to fast buy etc etc

By far the worst customer service experience. I am only giving 1 because there is no zero rating. I was trying to find eligibility for a service and i was put on the call for more than 1 hr, been transferred at least 5 times and even after the end of call i didn't get a satisfactory answer. Never ever again

I would rather give it a triple 0 stars review. The worst experience with health insurance coverage. I have contacted them several times as it was assigned as my primary health insurance at work and they refuse to pay for the medical services billed by my providers. Difficult to find providers who accept it in South Florida, and the list just goes on and on.

My advice, just walk away!

Waste of paper
June 3, 2017

They're pretty good, I just have one complaint: they waste a lot of paper. Which I get some people may not care, but they really do. They send out the bill, which is fine, but they send it twice. This is about 6 papers all together for each person. Just my opinion.

United health care the short-term disability, very hard to explain how horrible this is. They make your doctor send medical records multiple times, they will not process the information and claim they do not have the records, the only objective is not to pay or delay payment. If you call, you will get the runaround, and an uninformed person will call you back and make up any senseless excuse for not processing your claim.
Government should get involved in this type of corporate behavior
