Love their huge selection of Vans & Converse. Dig their sweats and the store is always having a sale. What's not to like? I see a lot of unhappy peeps on this. I don't get why they're so angry? If you've got a problem, then just contact them. If it's still leading to no where, contact your credit card bank. If everyone were forced to work in retail, they'll all be a tad more understanding and empathetic. No one's perfect & mistakes do happen. Be more human. Getting back, Urban's totally the place to go if you want trendy styles. Perfect place for me & my gf to go. We just split into our individual sections and meet up in the Home section. Shopping online is super easy too. Love Urban.
The company whose business model is to screw up your order and/or account and be so lazy, indifferent, and/or incompetent so as to do absolutely nothing to rectify anything and literally block customers from ever purchasing again, because they can't be bothered to fix their mistakes. Good, if you're looking to reserve a date in bankruptcy court, I guess. Lol. Shop Free people, Urban Outfitters, & Anthropologie at your own risk. And once their regular abysmal customer service ignores you, you'll be blocked by their corporate level staff if you attempt to contact them. An online shopping nightmare. Ugh.
I ordered a few items online on black friday, and about a day later received an email saying they needed to verify my order, to call a number. Just to be sure it wasn't a scam, I called Urban Outfitters normal customer service number, who told me to call the one given to me. When I called, the woman who helped me was very friendly and understanding, silly me had put my shipping address into the billing address information, which red flagged their fraud filter. All I had to do was give her some of my information and they shipped my package the next day! It's very nice to know that they check for fraud and are so understanding when you make a human error on the most hectic christmas gift buying day of the year.
I ordered a simple top over a month ago, which on their website says "pending" so I can not track it there. Upon looking back in my emails they gave me an odd tracking number from some company that ships, but no company like USPS, UPS or DHL... but someone I never heard of. When looking on that website it just says delayed. After being on hold for over an hour to get a UO representative she says she can't track it either. I would expect a major retailer to be better than this with shipping. Random people on Ebay ship within 2 or 3 days with no problem but Urban Outfitters can't?
I ordered two weeks ago. Got a text from courier saying they were trying to deliver but couldn't find the address. I verified the address and he stated that was not the address on packet and he didn't deliver to my area so he would have to contact someone else to deliver it. That was a week ago still no package. I get a text yesterday saying my item had been delivered. Looked on porch and in mailbox... nothing. Contacted them and they said sometimes the courier marks packages delivered before they are actually delivered and to give it 48 hours. Who does that? Throughout the process I have called... sat on hold 49 mins and then chatted with 3 different agents. No package, no one cares and my money is gone. First and last time ever ordering with them!
I recently ordered 2 items from their online store. I got both in record time, and, they were amazing quality, I got a burnout tank for $2.99 and a summer dress for $9.99! Their online sales are AMAZING! When I ordered, all of their sale items were another 50% off the sale price! The shipping is quite cheap, if not free. I will definitely be ordering from them again sometime soon.
One of the worst companies when it comes to customer service. I can see that im not the only one they messed up the order on. I cant believe companies with this kind of customer service actually exist. I will make sure to tell everyone I know about what a terrible experience i have had with them.
I was overcharged nearly $200 for my order. My request for a refund was fair and reasonable. I included screenshots and clearly explained what had happened in my correspondence with the support team. I needed to speak with 8 different consultants (many of whom clearly did not read/understand my emails) The consultants were rude and unapologetic and it took 24 days to receive my refund.
I ordered something from them and it did not come (although it showed as having come to my residence). I opened several help tickets, and each said someone would contact me from the lost goods department where the matter was being investigated from. I wrote several times, and each time I was told 24-72 hours someone would contact me. 3 weeks later no one has gotten back to me.
I never received my order and after talking with customer service they basically said too bad. So I'm out $70 and will never order from here again. After reading reviews here, I see it's a common problem. They ship with lasership where it's basically a coin toss if your package gets delivered. Dont take the chance, just dont order from here.
As you can see with other reviews, the customer service is awful. THEY screwed up my order 2x i returned both wrong items and their saying they only received one back, they were packaged TOGETHER! Which is now error number three. Listen to the best part, they tried to charge me for one of them and it declined so now my account is on freeze due to their countless errors! WHAT! Beside that fact when i call everyone is clueless.
I have ordered from them multiple times and had SUCH good experiences. Always a speedy response and willing to help I've had to redirect my packages, replace items, etc all with no trouble. So kind and willing to go above and beyond - the negative reviews on her disappoint me as I have never had a problem - I consider them to have the best customer service out there!
I made an order on the 23 of November and 3 weeks later i still have not received my order. I contacted them and they said my package was lost so they filed a refund request and said that I will receive an email in the next 48 hours. I wait 1 week and still no message. I contact them again and they tell me i should wait another 48 hours.
Horrible customer service. DO NOT order online. It is SCAM! They take your money before your order is even shipped!
I made an order online and they declined my card, naturally i checked to see i had typed every card number right and i had so tried again and It declined. Then i saw that money was drawn from my account for both orders even though they said my card my declined which left me with on unwanted order which they haven't done anything about yet despite contacting their customer service...
I ordered a beautiful (I think because I obviously I haven't gotten it) mirror, that was NOT cheap and the product kept getting back-ordered. Once to June, and again they just let me know it would be in August. Honestly, just say you're out of stock of the item. Wont be purchasing furniture from them again. Unfortunate, one of my favorite stores.

This is the first time writing a review on a company. I usually don't voice my opinion but now I'm really mad. Whenever I order something from Urban Outfitters a get a confirmation email and 5 minutes later a cancellation email stating that my order was canceled with no explanation. I really wanted a certain item I called customer service told them about my issue and asked if I can order via phone and they told me a customer service rep will contact me shortly. In the meantime I tried ordering online again only to get a confirmation and then the familiar cancellation email. I called again and was asked to call the processing department where I was told someone will call me back shortly and now 5 days later I'm still waiting for the call. I really want that item and only they sell it but had enough!
I ordered something for $50 and never received it. They put a hold on my account and when I called, they said I have to file a police report to remove the hold. This means taking time out of my day to go file a police report for a $#*!ty company that doesn't even respect their customer. Will never ever buy from this company again. And please save yourself some time and don't purchase from this horrible company that probably exploits people and over charges.
They asked me for the authorization code from by bank service, I gave all the needed info. They kept sending me requests about this authorization code and I've reached out to them 5 times in order to give all the needed information. Afterwards, they send me the message that my order was cancelled... Such disappointing experience
I ordered my fiance the combat boots for father's day on 6/9, I'm just receiving them today. I opened the box the $#*!ing shoes are as long as a canoe mind you the shoes are not even in a shoe box, never will I order from this company again.
They had an issue with my order, couldnt resolve it within a reasonable time. Told me they would call me and couldnt give me the number to call to fix it. I bought thousands of dollars of furniture, since they wont work with me to deliver I will be buying local. Will now delete their app and will not use them again
I ordered three items there, but received only two! Customer support did their best to help me with the lost item (it was good), but they said that they were sorry, the item was awarded the label "missing". I am disappointed.
This whole company is a scam, they steal your money. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with.
I ordered a furniture item in February 2022 (wardrobe). Biggest mistake ever. The item was of poor quality and defective, so it could not even be assembled properly. I contacted customer service for a refund, first of all, they made me disassemble it and fit it back into the original box which took me hours but that's fine. Item was picked up within the next several days but to this day I DID NOT RECEIVE MY MONEY BACK. It is May! It's been 3 months.
I contacted their customer support through the chat several times and all they can give me is empty promises. They have been withholding my money for months, and I don't even believe they'll refund me.
It is not just $10, it is $216. Never again I will buy anything from this place.
Their stock is really cool, but their customer support and delivery is just awful. Just don't try to order here. Your package will either come too late, or won't come at all. It is a shame their online order system is such bad, because the stuff they sell is really cool.
This company is a fraud, they couldn't deliver products on time, (instead of promised 2-4 weeks it took 8 weeks, and STILL only partially shipped) they lost returns and basically stole $1000 from my credit card and make impossible to get money back.
How can this happen in western country?
My order partially came and the other half somehow went "missing". They even printed the shipping label for the product 13 days in advance but it ended up never shipping. I then contacted customer service to which they informed me they would process my refund in 48 hours, 48 hours came and they didn't process it. I reminded them again and after another 48 hours i still haven't gotten my refund. Don't trust this company.
I bought a shirt and top in the sale, which never arrived. I contacted urban outfitters to ask where the item was and was told it had been delivered.
After disputing this with both urban outfitters and the post office. Nothing was done, for four months.
During this time I managed to buy the top again but it was no longer in the sale so paid full price. I asked urban outfitters to refund me the full price item but they have refused. Not only was it their fault I never got back the original order because they took so long to sort it out but then they refused to rectify their mistake by refunding the full price item which I only purchased because they were taking so long to sort anything out. Don't buy anything from this company they don't care about their customers and their staff are incompetent.
