Love their huge selection of Vans & Converse. Dig their sweats and the store is always having a sale. What's not to like? I see a lot of unhappy peeps on this. I don't get why they're so angry? If you've got a problem, then just contact them. If it's still leading to no where, contact your credit card bank. If everyone were forced to work in retail, they'll all be a tad more understanding and empathetic. No one's perfect & mistakes do happen. Be more human. Getting back, Urban's totally the place to go if you want trendy styles. Perfect place for me & my gf to go. We just split into our individual sections and meet up in the Home section. Shopping online is super easy too. Love Urban.
The company whose business model is to screw up your order and/or account and be so lazy, indifferent, and/or incompetent so as to do absolutely nothing to rectify anything and literally block customers from ever purchasing again, because they can't be bothered to fix their mistakes. Good, if you're looking to reserve a date in bankruptcy court, I guess. Lol. Shop Free people, Urban Outfitters, & Anthropologie at your own risk. And once their regular abysmal customer service ignores you, you'll be blocked by their corporate level staff if you attempt to contact them. An online shopping nightmare. Ugh.
I want to start by saying, with the current pandemic, I completely understand and expect less staff, production, etc. but I still expect brand transparency. My mom originally ordered an item for me for Christmas, and it was said to be on backorder and ship by a date that would have arrived by Christmas. Weeks later, when it was said to ship, it was cancelled altogether and she was never sent it. I ended up being able to order my item after Christmas, and it was backordered for another few weeks but it finally shipped out, but I'm still waiting on arrival. Not every item is updating with day to day tracking, it just says expected delivery date. Also, I have previously ordered items and the same order was sent in multiple shipments. Urbanoutfitters.com is currently a complete mess, and shipping is pricey to not be able to accurately track. I recommend order pickup or if you can, just going to the store to shop until they can get everything figured out. It will save you the stress of wondering if your items are actually coming or not, trust me.

You know how reputable shipping companies like UPS and FEDEX acquire their business and maintain it, by delivering satisfaction to their customers.
They don't allow room for failure nor discouragement. Again, they deliver, all PUN INTENDED.
I called Lasership's (the delivery company for Urban Outfitters) customer service line several times, and a non English speaker, sounded like, answered and hung up each time.

I was awaiting a package. But not just any package.
This package was special. Not special to anyone but myself and whom it was to be gifted to for Christmas.
And sadly, was never received.
I called Urban Outfitters to find a hopeful resolution, and of course, the item was discontinued, never to be sold again. In a matter of two weeks, this happened.
Both companies are at fault and neither have tried to resolve the issue, not the delivery company nor the company of which I purchased the gift from.
So sad!
First and last time ordering from Urban Outfitters. And lasership needs to get it together. Their reviews are already horrendous.
I placed an order for the rainbow rag rug online, and they sent me the wrong item. I paid $10 in shipping and waited for over a week for my item; therefore, I was highly disappointed when I unwrapped the package to find that they sent me the wrong thing. Instead of a brightly colored 2 x 3 rug, I received a dull tiny rug that looked like a place mat, which looked nothing like the picture online and didn't match the size. The customer service I received was terrible. They never acknowledged the fact that they sent me the wrong item, but they offered a free return. Two weeks later I receive an e-mail telling me that they refunded the items from my order to my original pay method instead of exchanging them as I requested. The only choice I have is to wait three days for the money to go back into my account, place the order all over again and wish for the best, or to take the money refund minus the high shipping price I originally paid. I will never do service with Urban Outfitters again, since they obviously don't care about good customer service.
I purchased some clothes this Tuesday, while I was checking out, free express shipping was offered. I of course, opted for the express shipping because I needed my clothes to get to me by at least Saturday. I was completely willing to pay for the higher priced shipping because I needed the clothes ASAP but since the express shipping was free and would be delivered by Friday, I didnt see any harm in it. The website said that my order would arrive on Friday. I waited Wednesday and Thursday for a shipping confirmation and on Friday when I still hadnt received one I called their store. The woman who spoke with me seemed very irritated when I asked questions and basically told me that I would receive my order by Tuesday because they were running behind. No further explanation was given, overall Im very displeased with the service I received.
I ordered a ring in store using a gift card but never received order confirmation email or ring and it's been 2 weeks. I didn't get a receipt either. I emailed them but they just sent order number of another transaction I ordered.
DO NOT MAKE ORDERS IN STORE. Just do it yourself at home.
I'm so dissatisfied disappointed I ordered a kanken mini backpack I got it in time and all I was exited about it cause I had been wanting one I've had it maybe for three weeks and I ran into this video of how to tell a authentic from a knockoff Urban outfitters has sent me a knockoff my kanken backpack doesn't even have the Swedish flag on the name tag the way it was packaged is not how an authentic kanken item would have been done and my fabrics are not authentic like on a real kanken item! I called left email and I tried chatting with someone no answer whatsoever this place is looking for a good lawsuit!

I shopped for a bag from another country, they sent me an email asking for the authorization requests to prevent fraud and so I should contact my bank, I did and when I tried to answer for the authorization number they just DELETED MY ACCOUNT WITH ALL THE INFO ABOUT THE ORDER. Now I dont know if I will get a refund on my credit card (it was an expensive order) and they don't answer my emails any longer. STAY AWAY!
I ordered a bunch of items on Boxing Day and never got any receipt or tracking number. I thought it was odd but some friends told me this had happened to them in the past with no big deal, so I left it at that. It's now been over a week since Boxing Day, no update. I thought it was weird, so I contacted customer service, and they let me know my order's been cancelled for about a week now. I never received any confirmation that it was even placed, and now I'm hearing I never got any confirmation it was cancelled. Customer service, although they were helpful and nice, just told me to 'make sure I use my email this time' when I re-order my items. A majority of the stock is obviously already sold out. Very weird that I never got any of this information, and it turns out that according to Urban Outfitters, I needed a bank confirmation? This is super weird and I've never heard of anyone having this issue before anywhere really. That part was very weird and sketchy to me, and it pretty much turned me off from ordering ever again.
I wanted to use a discount code but it didn't work on the website, so I downloaded the app. Unfortunately my payment method did not work on the app so I had to do everything through paypal which I haven't touched in the last 6 months. Now after all the work I have finally ordered the pair I wanted, and they CANCELLED it due to stock availability, yet they still sell the pair on their website as if they have stock plenty.
I ordered a package on March, 9th, 2018.It is now March 27th, and still hasn't arrived(despite saying 7-10 business days). I was given tracking info, however I haven't been given any tracking updates since March 16th(11 days ago), and that update was "Electronic information submitted by shipper", which in my mind doesn't tell me anything. I had enough and emailed them... it has been 11 hours and my package still hasn't arrived. I'm very pissed off, disappointing, and concerned, that I have no idea, where a package I bought with $90 CAD of my hard earned money went. This is the second time I ordered from Urban Outfitters. The first time was on November 2017, it was essentially the same package, and I waited 2 weeks, then finally got an update... "package canceled". My package better end up at my door soon, as I'm definitely not gonna risk ordering off UO ever again. This is f*cking ridiculous

Ordered a jacket 2 months ago and since it didn't fit I returned using their pre-printed shipping label. They got my item back a month ago and have not issued a refund despite my emails and calls to them. If I log into my account at UO I see nothing in my purchases or order history. I tried leaving bad review on their website and of course that didn't post because they have to pre-approve and my guess is that only 5 star reviews make it there. Thankfully I used Paypal to pay for this and was just able to file an unauthorized transaction with them. Typically they hold the funds and if you have proof of return they should be able to reinforce the refund. This was my first experience at UO and the last one. Cheap Chinese websites have better customer service and more ethical refund processes that these guys. Only use PPL if you decide to purchase something with them online so that you have a chance to dispute and possibly recover your money back. Do not shop there... wish I have read these reviews before but I got sucked into this crap just like everyone else without knowing what unethical company they are.

These people are ridiculous! They overcharged me, couldn't fix it, took over a week to ever email me anything before I finally cancelled the order which still took forever to cancel DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY!
Worst customer service of ALL time. I went online to look at flannels. Excluding the fact that all of their stuff is completely over priced, I went into their sale section and found a $50 flannel for $10! Reading the reviews, majority were saying that the flannel was "vintage" and every single one was different than pictured including style, colour etc - some people were pleased, 75% were not. I purchased it anyway. I received a confirmation email saying that the flannel was back ordered and would not be shipped till after July 7th. I didn't mind, so I left it at that. The next day, I received an email giving me a 20% off and a free shipping coupon with a note saying my order had been cancelled because it was completely out of stock. It's whatever, but I expected a full refund of the now $24 dollar flannel (thanks shipping and tax and duties). I emailed them immediately (followed by 3 more emails) and a Twitter DM and a Twitter@ since they were active 25 minutes before I went online. I did not receive a reply on either format for 2 days. I finally called their customer service number and someone told me my order had been indeed cancelled... That's all she said. I questioned whether or not I would receive a refund. She said "yes." I said "uh. When". She goes, "um I don't know, maybe Monday?"
Worst customer service ever. Stupidly over priced everything. I mean, thanks for the coupon but I certainly will NOT be using it any time soon. Thanks Urban Outfitters.

How can you order something be charged for it and have no tracking details! Apparently the item is lost should have been here between 7-10 business days! Now they have no idea where the package is! To top it off they expect me to pay for a new one and apparently they will express ship it! Why would I pay for the item again! They want me to open an investigation and wait for a refund lol but pay again for the product! The first 3 times I called I was told they had no tracking details and that I had to wait the full 10 business days for further details! Today I'm told they have no tracking details and that they will now open the investigation because it's been more than 10 business days! Oh and since they are refunding me if I do happen to receive the package I'm to send it back! This is a complete joke not to mention their customer service reps have no clue what the hell is going on and are beyond rude and not willing to help and all they do is talk over you as if you've done something wrong with the attitude of oh well you didn't receive your package oh well too bad for you! I will never order or shop here again!

I placed an order with Urban Outfitters two weeks ago. When I received the package, it was for completely wrong items. I called and they said they'll send me a replacement. However the replacement never came, the tracking details kept saying "Held in Warehouse." I contacted Urban Outfitters again, who said they can't file a claim until 10 business days later, even though I had ordered two weeks ago because I needed to bring this overseas for my sister's present. Then Urban Outfitter told me that it was delivered yet because it was over the weekend. Then they told me again that they were still within the timeframe of delivery.
I finally found a way to call the shipping company myself. Apparently Urban Outfitters messed up and forgot to put my apartment number on the replacement package so they had no way to deliver it. But Urban Outfitters never realized that mistake so just kept telling me to wait. If I hadn't tried to solve the problem myself, I would be sitting here falsely trusting a company that obviously has no idea how to carry out their business. They have one job, and they're doing great messing it up while trying their best at not being helpful.

Ordered a bed on UO. For some reason UPS decided I have to pick up myself. No way to talk to anyone at UPS and UO can't do anything about it until UPS returns it to them. So no bed and no money back until UPS decide what they are going to do.
Ordered some clothes online for my niece and paid extra to have expedited shipping (2 day delivery). Only 1 item got delivered within the 2 days, so I contacted customer service. The status updates for my order never got updated as they never gave it to UPS for delivery. They couldn't figure out what had happened to the rest of my order so they offered me a refund and told me to wait 2 business days. Then I got an email stating I should contact them after another 10 business days if I don't get my order. Never got my refund so after a few days I reached out again. While they were taking their time "researching" my refund, the items eventually got delivered. I reached out several times after that asking them to refund the expedited shipping fees I had paid as they missed that delivery window by a mile, but they continually either played dumb or just ignored my requests. One of the worst shopping and customer service interactions I have ever had. Go somewhere else for your shopping needs and save yourself the headache.
One of my favorite! The only bad thing is it's not like ASOS which has free worldwide shipping and all their shoes size starts from US6, I'm a US5, so can't buy any.
Sometimes they have bloopers, like once they send me the wrong color, but they refunded me pretty fast and cover my shipping back to them. So I have no issue with that. And the recent order I received, there's a big hole in the jacket and the jacket didn't look the same as on the website. Once again they refunded me pretty fast and ask me to throw away that jacket, don't bother to send them back. I also have a few items that I bought for my sis, it's too big for her as she's too petite. So I just shipped it back, as what I know UO doesn't have free return shipping unless it's their fault like sending wrong item. Hence I have to pay SGD$21 for the shipping to return the items, which I guess another downside.
But overall I love UO. Love their style and pretty good quality for certain brands!
The delivery man send my package to the wrong building so I didn't received any package. I contacted UO to receive some help since it's not my fault that he send it to the wrong building when I clearly put the number of my apartment correctly! The thing is, they said that I have to be the one who took care of this problem. To be honest, I'm very disappointed to this kind of respond. I spend $100 for nothing with the bad service. Do not expect them to take a good care of you if something happened with your packages. This is really sucks you know. Like, this is not right I'm not the one who send the package to the wrong address so why do I have to be the one who goes around and solve this problem. Another brands take a good care when the customer got any problem; send the new one, refunds their money, etc. But UO does nothing at all. Think twice before buying their product, if this is what you get when you purchase their stuff better buy from other brands with great sense of responsibility. ( The picture that I posted here is where the delivery man posted it. It's not my apartment so where the h that he delivers it when I clearly wrote down my apt number)

I had ordered a desk months ago and the backorder date changed from June to July to August. I sent an email and was told the desk would backordered until early August. I needed a desk sooner so I ordered a different desk from RH and asked for the Urban Outfitters order to be cancelled. A week later, I received an email that the Urban Outfitters desk shipped and could not be cancelled. This had been a huge waste of time and I would never order from Urban Outfitters again.
I ordered a $300 mirror and a $800 dresser. Before the items were even shipped my account was charged every 1-3 days. I called and asked why this was and apparently they do this every 7 days to make sure the funds are still in the account. I finally received my dresser, but never the mirror. It has been 3 months since I ordered it and I have been charged and refunded every 1-3 days for the last 2 MONTHS. I've talked to customer service rep about 7 times now over the course of the 2 months, and 6/7 have told me it just shipped and I should receive information in 48-72 hours. I have yet to get any sort of info of when I'll be receiving it. I had planned on returning it once I received it because I don't want to give them my business, but after reading the reviews on their returns I guess I'll keep it. Not sure if it's even legal to be taking the funds out this frequently when it hasn't even shipped, but it's an absolute mess. I'm a very loyal customer and buy 90% of my clothes from them. I've never had issues with clothes, but because of the way this is being handled I will not longer be giving them my business.
This company is absolutely terrible at communicating tracking, and their carrier lasership is unreliable. My package was lost in the mail and never arrived never order from here!
