Promised an enhanced and easy Mobile Deposit app, Found app is very prone to Holding Deposits, without prior notice, for a 7 day period, anything over $1000 go to the bank, if you must use this Bank that is under federal review as I heard. Customer Care is Bad 2 out of 5 customer reps are ok, keep calling 1 out of 5 were actually helpful

Can't do basic banking
October 26, 2023

Never do any banking with US Bank! Their customer service is terrible. It's been over a month and I still can't set up paperless statements or link an external account. I've called over 5 times and have spend over 5 hours on the phone.

It looks like you offer 1.07% savings account rates with $25,000 minimum! With the increase of the federal rate that really is unacceptable! You can and should do better for your customers during these times!

This company sucks, that have being making a family of five have no money that is in the mothers account, but because the first card took two weeks, then didn't work the best they can do is have us wait for a mailed letter to be sent back out to us, so another two weeks. So if anyone can take the time and send them a letter of thanks for the only way to reach corporate customer service I was given this address.

Deserves zero stars

Customer service disconnects you when you ask for a supervisor. CS agents have zero power to do anything helpful. I believe they are taking advantage of my elderly mother. Just the absolute worst— stay away!

Worst ever, whether online or via phone. Promises made + not kept; CHAT is a black hole; errors in processing necessitating more calls. Awful awful service. Go elsewhere. And I used to work for them... ugh!

I would say from my experience U.S. Bank Platinum Visa must be the worst card in the universe.
I don't recommend this card.
I have spent countless hours on the phone with customer service and nothing ever gets fixed. The only thing that got fixed was my ability to make my monthly payment which I couldn't do before.
The customer service staff are even confused by the App.
My card hasn't worked for about 4 weeks now. I really don't want to call again because it's always a waste of time for me. I am considering opening another card just to get away from this nightmare.
To top it off the numbers on the card are very hard to read due to lack of contrast.
I would avoid this card like the Corona virus.

I've requested management to call back as regular service reps were unable to resolve issues. 3 tickets and more than 2 weeks already and they are still so cowardly to even provide a response.

What a joke for federally regulated institution to scam customers by stating "hey we can just invented new rules on the fly, and we're not obligated to notify you first"

Better not do business with the low life scammer, management will avoid contacting you to resolve issue and remain cowardly silent.

I see why us bank has 2.5. Stars which should be 0 worst customer service rude staff was hung up on twice my card was lock when i was the one using it and verified it 100 times card still not working after speaking with numerous staff hold times are always 40 mins plus absolutely ridiculous after calling 4 times was on hold for more than 30 mins every time then to hear the is no representatives available to assist unbelievable im lost for words

No wonder US Bank has such incompetent employees, useless online banking programmers, fouled ATM'S, and so on and so on. Good grief! They can't even close an account, issue a new one, send checks, Debit Card, Credit Card, etc.etc. Get out asap!
