My experience with your company has been nothing short of a nightmare. You dragged out my sale for over four months, and when I finally got my purse back, it was in terrible condition due to your carelessness. To make matters worse, after all that time, you had the nerve to call it a sale and insulted me with a mere $25 payout. I've never been treated so poorly by any company before. Your customer service was not just unhelpful—it was downright dismissive and incompetent at every step. This has been an absolute disaster from start to finish. Before and after pictures

Dreadful company. Do not use them. I bought a very expensive coat which was wrongly sized and after agreeing it was their fault then the unapproachable "quality control" refused to acknowledge the mistake. I then received a message at 5.42 in the morning to say that I could relist only to receive another message at 9.55 am to say that it had been returned. On phoning they refused to help in any way.

I would give 0 stars for this company. I sold my item and then it got lost. Sent it using VC label and after they investigated the loss of my parcel for 30 days and they said that it got lost! They said they pay me. And that the payment was transferred and wait 5 working days. Contacted my bank and there was no payment pending. Then I contacted VC and they keep saying they look into the matter!
Still now no payment!I sold an item of an initial value of over £2700!
I will now ask the Consumer Protection to step in. Their behaviour is appalling!
Please avoid for your own sake. These people are scammer and there is not even a telephone number to contact them.
They keep saying they would reply, but unless you keeep writing none replies!

Received counterfeit boots from seller Haute. No action taken from Vestiaire. I received a refund as they agreed with my complaint, but to my horror, the boots are back up for sale! They said there would be serious consequences for the seller. However I can't see any action has been taken as they still have a "professional seller" badge. Will never buy from this company again.

My first experience with Vestiaire was miserable. I recently purchased a handbag and my CC was charged immediately, but I did not receive the bag until 15 days later. After receiving it, the bag smelled of perfume and was in worse condition that the photos showed. The issues were structural loss, frayed stitches and big scratches. When I submitted my concerns and asked for a return, their response was "you bought it as an agreement between you and the seller; therefore Vestiaire is not responsible." If that's the case, why did I have to pay for Vestiaire's Quality process that took 4 days in the 15 day process? They only offered to pay for cleaning but I have to get a quote first for them to approve the expense first. And secondly, which this is the truly ironic part, they said the reason for them to refuse the return was because the bag was only listed as "GOOD". When does good mean bad?

Don't trust their listings saying "authenticity guaranteed" you still got fake products, and it was so hard to get return/refund due to complicated process and return postage to overseas. Also you can NOT unsubscribe doesn't matter how hard you try, they just still send your emails regardless.

This website should be illegal for selling all the fake products all over the world!

I purchased a Burberry backpack and it went through the authentication process and was sent to me. As soon as I opened the box I realized the bag was not authentic. Chatted with them and explained all the reasons. Was very difficult to get a return label. Shipped item back the next day and am still waiting for a refund. I keep chatting (only way to contact them besides email - poor service) and am told I have to wait for their quality department to verify. This shouldn't take this amount of time since I basically did the verification for them. I provided the list of 8 things wrong with bag and they could have checked just one to determine it was fake. I no longer trust their authentication process and have purchased my last item from them. Beware that even if you pay to have your item authenticated you may still receive a fake item and the refund / communication process is flawed at best.

Tip for consumers:
Authentication is not assured as obviously not being done by experts in the brands.

I have had the worst experience in this site 3 times and I am done! The REAL REAL, The Luxury Closet are far more better, cheaper and nicer to deal with. On vestiaire vestiaire I made 3 attempts to purchase shoes they took my money 3 times and after 2 weeks just when I thought I was getting them delivered (same shoes) they would cancel the order and refund me but made money on the actual checking of item 3 times and will not refund even though they say it was a technical fault. Terrible! TERRIBLE! They deduct also over $100 in fees on each item. I have never dealt with such crooks! Please be careful! They give you a tracking number and then cancel the order! Absolute waste of time. The staff was extremely unhelpful and rude! Check out the orders below. It has happened with everything I have ordered! Time to move on.

Had and I am having a terrible experience with VC.
The item got lost by La Poste, VC instead of giving the carrier a call to understand the whereabouts of the item (300€ item)... is more concerned in asking me to send them a handwritten letter and Id Card so they can open a case with the carrier.
I have raised 5 cases with VC and there is no proper follow up. I have sent 8 chaser and total radio silence. There is no customer service number. So its a great experience for the client. You get stuck with hundreds or thousands of €. And you have to wait for them to reply... basically. When they feel like. This company is not set up, and should be fined for making the clients to go through this terrible experience. We are stuck with virtual chat boxes and emails. Unacceptable...

My next step is to write a handwritten complaint letter to the respective department

The system is so old and needs to be updated. I have tried to delete items from Favorites but the items are still appearing on my list and I get unwanted notifications from sellers. I have complained many times but they say that their system needs an upgrade... that's all. Also, if you need to return something it will take a long time for them to VC to even notify you or to process the return. The site has no record of the return info or the process so you have to keep on checking with them and getting on their chat forum. I have no news on when my refund will be processed. They said that it goes to one place, then another (for a second check) and then I'll be notified. There are much better sites than VC to shop from.

Product not as advertised and very long shipping time. I ordered a designer purse. From the pictures on their website the colors seemed subtle and muted. The actual bag was bright vibrant colors of purple, kelly green and yellow which greatly limits the outfits I can pair the bag with. I sent pictures and they responded with images that didn't look like what was posted on their website, which i pointed out. Additionally, it took 1 month to clear customs which was unexpected.

They were responsive to my emails but didn't offer any real solutions. With customs they kept asking me if it cleared … it was on me to call fedex to manage that process. Their fix for the purse being not as advertised was to repost it and they would receive another full fee on the resale … on top of the $750 in taxes I paid as it came from out of the country.

Tip for consumers:
I wouldn’t use the website. You’re relating on pictures to assess the product. They pictures on my item were inaccurate.

I bought a pair of shoes on Vestiaire Collective that were supposedly gold, per the description. Even the cover photo made them look gold. When I received them, they were very obviously silver. I sent them back to VC since the item did not match the description but was told they did. How does a very obviously different color match the description? The item was then relisted using the exact same price I paid, along with the same information, neither of which I was able to edit. Worst of all, VC will once again take their 30% sellers fee on top of the "quality control" fee, meaning I am essentially paying them to get ripped off. I asked for the shoes back because I'd rather sell them elsewhere. VC also refused to tell me why quality control says the item matches the description. This is a SHADY way to do business.

Tip for consumers:
Unless you are absolutely sure the item is exactly as described, and you're willing to pay all the fees they charge you to get the item, proceed with caution. Maybe only shop with their special badged sellers? Don't expect them to help you if you get an item that doesn't match the description, especially since it's already gone through whatever quality control they have.

Consider it a red flag if any company does not offer a telephone number. The only contact I received was through a chat mechanism. I purchased an item which is well over 4 weeks and I still do not have the item I sent an email and reached out to the seller. No response. I will never use this company again. So disappointed I will cancel my order.

I made 6 purchases, and 4 was refunded without any reason. Than, I contact the company, and show them that when I try to buy the same itens again, a message keeps showing "there is a problem with your shopping card." I tried all the possible ways of paymente, and the error still appears.

It seems like the VC banned me.
With no reason

Its absurds

The attendant said that he would investigate why this is happening, and i never had any news

I would give zero stars if I could! I advise all people not to buy or sell. They are only interested in their commission. There is no customer service. I wish I had read all the reviews first. I tried to help a buyer with a delayed parcel but they banned from chatting with her! Parcel was final delivered but Vestiare have not marked it revived and won't despite the tracking info showing it has been- so I won't get paid and I cannot contact the buyer to ask her to mark it received as they have banned me from doing that. Absolute Crooks and Scammers.

I felt like this post was obligatory because I encountered a problem with customs acceptance in the US (a form was missing) and I immediately panicked after reading the reviews here - I thought I would never see my beautiful Chanel shoes. After reaching out to the live chat representatives, I was told to first contact the seller (which was incorrect, but I will let Max slide). I sent one more chat and the kind representative transferred my complaint to the logistics team and within a day, my package was back on track to being delivered. Very satisfied with the service I received! Thank you :)

Have reported a purchase of a fake item (boots), that I have unfortunately placed an order for. I have been told it is fake by someone that works at Christian Dior literally 2 hours after I placed the order. Christian Dior has never produced the item is such colour. Quickly I learned that myself too.
The item was shipped to the VC for authenticity and quality check so I got onto it right away. The customer service lady, Jolina Marie P. Wasnt bad, but very unhelpful, she told me to contact the seller myself and ask her to cancel the order…I did, of course nothing happened. And as soon as I asked Jolina for an email or phone number of a manager or someone I can report this issue to, she ended the chat…
I don't support production of fake items and under any circumstances would I wish to purchase one. This is very disappointing…

A purchase was made in good faith, item was in an incorrect category, photograph was deception and despite many conversations Vestaire Collective refuse to refund. Honestly, would avoid this site at all costs, there is no way to have a phone conversation and your emails/chats are responded to by many different people. AVOID at all costs. Please view the photo, would you believe you have purchased a bag or a strap only?

I have been purchasing many items from this websites. One day i decided to clean up and renew my closet so i listed some items. One of them i bought directly at Louis Vuitton boutique, Lv onthego mm, i listed with all angles images, including the original receipt. In the description i CLEARLY indicated this bag is 2021 with microchip chip, NO code. It also shown in the original receipt, "their authenticity EXPERTS" still asked the photo with code and decided they wont allow me listing the LV on the go. Are they crazy? Im now doubting all the items i bought and paid for authenticity with this website,
I even submitted a ticket and asked them to get back to me what are the reasons that they cant list it. No response at all to this inquiry. Horrible, you went from ok to horrible place to buy and sell luxury.

I have been buying and selling for a few years. They have no customer service, you cannot trust them with valuables. I sold Hermes silver key chain worth 600£++, they claimed to have never received it. It was stolen and I have no resources to find out what happened. It is gone, they say I never sent in box. They stole it.

Tip for consumers:
There is no way to contact them. They do not reply chats or emails... it is a computer system. There is no way to speak to an actual responsible person so if you get a fake or as in my case, they steal your valuables you have no resources to get items back or money back. BE CAREFUL only sell/buy worthless stuff.

BUYERS BEWARE - what a horrible experience with this company. They have the worst customer service. I haven't experienced anything this bad from a company. They are quick to take your money for a purchase and for my particular item it was listed as 'EXPRESS' to be shipped within 2 business days. It has been 12 business days and not one reply to an email - their customer service consultants all say the same thing, "your matter has been escalated" and nothing happens. It is appalling. The first and last time I will ever buy from this website. I am still waiting on an answer as to where my item is!

I purchased a pair of Roger Vivier shoes and received a damaged item. ( These supposed to be Very Good Condition) I tried to contact with seller or customer service but it was too difficult to connect with them to get some help. I gave up and will take these to local shoe repair to fix. Very disappointed about their quality control and also this seller.

I bought a Fendi bag which was advertised as in good condition, when it arrived the shoulder strap is so worn almost have holes in it, one side strap is missing, none of these was in the bag description or on the photos. VC refuses to do anything. Stay away from them.
