My experience with your company has been nothing short of a nightmare. You dragged out my sale for over four months, and when I finally got my purse back, it was in terrible condition due to your carelessness. To make matters worse, after all that time, you had the nerve to call it a sale and insulted me with a mere $25 payout. I've never been treated so poorly by any company before. Your customer service was not just unhelpful—it was downright dismissive and incompetent at every step. This has been an absolute disaster from start to finish. Before and after pictures

ry careful with selling since Vestiaire doesn't pay you right after quality control and holds out payments for weeks. Now they keep my bags AND don't pay me which is under scrutiny by European Law. Unfortunately Vestiaire made the decision to cancel an authentic new gorgeous bag and hold it. It is an original one off, there are no different sizes and now the buyer misses an excellent bargain. I am completely done with the stupidity and meanness of the so called Authentication Team. I only offer authentic bags with the best quality and they place me in a bad light because of a measurement mix-up. From now on I only sell through other sites and I'll make sure this will be out there on social media.
I heard very bad references before from other sellers!!

Tip for consumers:
NEVER ever use this site. They are the worst and delay payments

I used to purchase through tradesy before, painless, super easy, great customer service and returns were smooth. Since it became Vestiari... what a nightmare! Finding items close or from good sellers is a nightmare. Everyone puts something there and ask almost original prices when the items even have holes on it and they call it "good conditions ". Is like a circus now, no control of quality and apparently many scammers. Nope, unfortunately changing to other ones.

I ordered an Hermes shirt. It was listed as being in very good condition. The seller took ten days to ship it, it was stuffed into a used Ziploc bag, it smelled heavily of mildew, and there is a large stain under armpit... of course not mentioned nor visible in photos. First and last time using this company. No number for customer service, bot replies in chat- or no reply at all.

I've been an avid seller for a year now and made another sale… only to find out that they have removed my country from the pre paid shipping list.
Without warning or notification.
I live in Dubai and we don't have a regular postal system here, so to use registered post myself it would cost at least $100 (as I'm not a business like Vestiaire).
Spoke to customer service and they gave no explanation just 'sorry we removed UAE and Turkey, now you have to pay it yourself'.

Honestly so devastated as someone who works in the fashion industry and valued a website like that for contributing to sustainability.

And to cancel UAE is crazy considering the luxury fashion resell business is at its highest.

I really hope they changed it back, because including all but two countries feels like discrimination.

Many great finds and deals however some sellers just cancel with no word or anything. I know that comes with the resale territory. And because they don't have a real land line it can be hard to get ahold of someone regarding refunds and or other issues. Otherwise I have had good experience.

Vestiaire always manages to make simple things painful. I ordered a jacket thinking it'd be fine, but they ended up going back on their word and shipping it when I was out on vacation (and Customer Service has already confirmed they would not send it until I was back). The item was returned to them and they are now refusing to resend it or release my refund (again after Customer Service swore I'd be refunded). So now I am out of money and my purchase. The seller was in no way at fault as her hand's were tied and she was really sympathetic for their bad service. I guess I'll have to see if I can get my money refunded through my credit card company because Vestiaire has kept the jacket.

I started ca. 3 months ago to shop with them and now since 2 weeks selling as well.
So far I am happy with the
- 3 articles cancelled by the buyer
- 4 articles received (Hermes scarf & Dvd dress checked by their expert team, Versace Skirt and Prada ballerinas through direct sellers) all in pristine condition and for good price
- 2 articles sent back: one Prada skirt was either fake and/or just had stains amd One LV bag that was listed as in great condition had big discoloration. Both items were checked (!) by the expert team. I sent both back amd got a refund.
- so far 4 articles sold.

All in call I find customer service great and refunds come fast. Yet when it comes to authentification of bought product, they only have a 2/4 success rate in my case.

Two for two fails.
First item ordered was not as described, thankfully they did well and refunded my money, but still disappointing.
Second time, i made an offer on an item, it was accepted, i made immediate payment. Then the seller decided it wasn't available anymore. Guess they got a better side offer. I have been advised i will get as refund 'as soon as possible' yet paypal refunds are pretty instant, and they have done nothing, so i opened a dispute.
Buyer beware. L certainly wont be bothering again, asked them to delete my account - of which locking me out was instant, if only they could manage the refund as fast...

Okay, so I just checked my bank statement to see if the refund for the cancelled purchase had hit, but instead I found a second charge for an additional $538.50. This is absolutely ridiculous. I reached out to VC for an escalated resolution and the Customer Service agent didn't even read my email and sent me some cookie-cutter response about refunds and checking their status. I've been waiting to speak with someone through their quick chat function since 1030 this morning and still haven't heard back. I've filed a complaint with the BBB, but I shouldn't have to wait 5 business days for their mistake to be fixed.

Made a $550 purchase with them that was immediately cancelled due to the item not being in stock. Okay, well, then why was it listed on your website? On top of not having it in stock, there were no alternate items that I could purchase in leu of the cancelled order. Further, I used a coupon that I won't get back, so I essentially lost money on the purchase. Suffice to say I won't be buying from Vestiaire Collection again.

Tip for consumers:
I wouldn't rely on this website; the items they have listed as "In Stock" on their website aren't always available for purchase. I would buy from eBay before I bought from here because at least they inventory is actually available for purchase.

Absolutely disgusted. Shipped them a brand new bag with dustbag and original tags, and even gave proof of purchase. VC said it "did not meet quality" and cancelled the sale. Now, they're saying I need to pay an overseas bank money to return ship my item (scam?). Ive never had this issue with StockX or other companies. Horrible customer service - I messaged them via chat and they said they would email me instead & promptly ended the chat. I then get an email saying the order is still cancelled and that there's nothing I can do. No further explanation as to why my item "did not meet quality"! WTF.

Prices vary widely, so you have an excellent chance of finding designer items, at discount store prices!

I found my *wish list* $$$$ handbag. Brand new! (and authenticated) at a price $ I could afford!

My parcel is lost for 3 months because they send me an incomplete label address. I emailed customer service 100 times providing them all the info they needed, I even contacted Hermes myself to solve the problem. Customer service is rubbish, unprofessional at all, they did nothing in the 3 months and they don't want to give me a refund. Just avoid this!

I DO NOT recommend this company! I was away when my package arrived and did not get to review my item until it was too late. The item was not in the conditions stated or like the pictures! Customer service did nothing to help with the issue. I tried relishing my item on their site but of course, you can never get your money back with ALL the charges and import fees added! Be careful.

I sold a gucci pochette bag on vestiaire. Their so called expert stated in quality control report that the handle was not original. This bag was purchased new by myself and barely used. I sent them the receipt and asked them where did they identify that handle was not original. Since the bag is authentic, original, never being altered, repaired or replaced. I even attached my gucci email shipping notification when I ordered my bag. No response. What does the so called expert do? Do they even qualify as expert to make a mistake like that? I won't be surprised if the other way around, let fakes slip through their so called quality control. Shame on you and your experts! Definitely dishonest, disqualified and unethical, un professional. Stay away!

Pricing is not not even close to reflecting what customer will actually pay when there's shipping, authentication, taxes and additional duties tacked on at the very end. There should be more transparency in pricing to allow for a more positive shopping experience. I've stayed away from purchasing on your site when I discovered that my $100 purchase could potentiall by 50% more after all additional fees are added, depending on location of item. Its quite jarring to see when you have to take your item all the way through to checkout to see what actual cost is. And most times I let go of the item as I can find something comparable on other site without the additional fees

Of the 4 things I ordered, 3 were cancelled due to the seller not responding. They did give me a refund as stated after the 30 days, but the point of making a purchase is to actually get the things you paid for! I'm also counting on those items and not buying them on other sites. Unlike Ebay and other sites, they don't seem to hold the seller responsible at all for holding up their end of the deal. Just an "oops, sorry, we never heard back from the seller." I can't trust that I ever get anything I buy from Vestiaire Collective, and I am never shopping with them again. This may be the worst site I've shopped at.

I've been a member for ages, and unfortunately felt compelled to tell other potential customers not to get their hopes up. Over the last year I've had six (6!) consecutive orders cancelled after the sale went through – a few times after weeks of waiting and hundreds (sometimes 1000s) of $ being transferred. It is refunded of course, but after waiting, expecting for weeks and weeks, and then suddenly the item is 'not available'. There seems to be no accountability or trust system to actually follow through on a sale. No way to leave a review of the seller or contact them, either. After these multiple bad experiences, I wonder how many of these items are actually for sale, or whether there is something else going on. It's like shopping at an imaginary store. Quite a big waste of time, in my opinion better spent on other sites where you actually receive what you bought! :)

Bought $285+ gloves listed as NEW NEVER WORN with tags that went through the authentication process that you pay for...only to receive gloves fit for the garbage. Seller wore for seasons. All a lie.and customer service told me they could do nothing. They recommended I buy at the time. Then I was offered 10% off my next purchase of $300. SERIOUSLY!
I opened a claim with PayPal for my refund. Vestiaire will not do anything to resolve. Deception at its best

I've sold with Vestiaire for £2,325.40 still no payment. This site is a scam don't transfer sellers their money from the sale!
Payment status says that to be transfer but the date already expired but still haven't being processed
I have contacted customer service isn't helpful.

Worst experience ever! Don't trust them! Their customer service does't exist: all the representative are poor prepared to answer or resolve your problem! I bought a bag and because had some problems I sent it for a double check and they without notice, put it on sale! I tried to make an offer for my bag and even iI i was the first one to make an offer and I refreshed the page all day long, they sold my bag to someone else with a significant lower amount. They are the most unprofessional application I ever seen in my life. Only by luck you can buy something good from them. If God forbid you have a problem they are UNPROFESSIONAL and they don't fix you problem. Avoid them as much as you can!
