So far, my shopping experience has been very good. The delivery times are a bit long, but it's understandable since the items come from another country or continent. A very good app for buying clothes.
My experience with your company has been nothing short of a nightmare. You dragged out my sale for over four months, and when I finally got my purse back, it was in terrible condition due to your carelessness. To make matters worse, after all that time, you had the nerve to call it a sale and insulted me with a mere $25 payout. I've never been treated so poorly by any company before. Your customer service was not just unhelpful—it was downright dismissive and incompetent at every step. This has been an absolute disaster from start to finish. Before and after pictures
I wore the shoes for 5 minutes and as you can see, the complete sole came off the one of them. I took them to a shoe mender who verified that the shoe had been household glued probably just to sell them. Upon reviewing the Vestiaire images of the shoes, you can clearly see the area on the heal where the shoes had broken previously (I thought it was a scratch). Vestiaire will not support me at all as it's beyond 72 hours (shoes delivered to Italy whilst in london 25 days later), The seller is still active and I've been offered no form of compensation. I was lucky I wasn't walking down stairs or I would of had a very bad accident. I'm disgusted by this company, their lack of empathy and clearly no duty of care for their buyers. Even eBay would of been more helpful! Avoid!

As a seller, I got my sale cancelled by the quality team and when I tried to understand what happened the customer service team had to escalate it as they didn't understand it neither (all the info was in a description the quality team didn't check at all).
Customer service team takes ages to answer and their answers are never accurate or helpful, they pass the ball from one person to the other and can take weeks for one issue to be sorted.
You get constantly banned from the chat as they use a robot to capture words as simple as 'my details' without reading the context.
Considering their fees are that high would be expected a better service for sellers.
I cannot give my opinion as a buyer.

Ordered an item from Paris to be sent to Asia. For the first time ever they used chronopost as opposed to DHL (no issue to pay more for DHL). No idea why they are using this courier service. This is considered express mail, but 4 days later no movement on website tracking. I called chronopost (even though I don't speak French) and from what I understood they have logistics problem sending to Asia. I tried contacting V. C via live chat, it doesn't work only a robot. Tried contacting via website to report a problem and nobody has even made an effort to contact me, no phone number to call and when you email them, the Email returns with a statement that this Email no longer works. Just useless, why change from DHL to some inefficient company for shipment and then no reply to your customer. Will lodge a claim with PayPal for non delivery, but really can't believe it has to get to this. Buyer beware.
Tip for consumers:
Using chronopost from Paris to Asia isn't reliable. Too much of a risk to buy.

I tried to sell a perfectly new Ferragamo watch and submitted a request. Two days late the website sent me a mail to let me know that it has been refused because they currently don't accept this brand.
This is totally ridiculous because they listed Ferragamo in the request form, and is actually selling Ferragamo pieces!
Totally arbitrary, random, unfriendly experience for me as a seller.

When you buy an item on Vestiaire, you are promised that if you regret your purchase, you can relist the item for free. I bought a pair of shoes in a size I can usually wear, that were too small. "That's ok, I can just relist them!" is what I thought. Not so fast. When you relist an item, you have to sell it for exactly same price as you bought it for. If you lower the price even just a little, or accept an offer from someone of a lower price, the "no fee" policy does not hold. This is not mentioned anywhere on their website. I was sure this was a bug, so I contacted customer care, who gave me the information this is how it works. They are intentionally giving the wrong information to customers in order to sell more items. Sounds like the definition of fraud to me.

I let them know my package is still in customs delay because the customs needs to know what material the purse is made of and they can't get ahold of VC I try to use their online chat and they just ignore me! Then say they r working on it with their team but nothing is getting done! I tried messaging them a million times no one answers then they send me answers to questions I never even ask so I get more confused customs just needs more information about the package and they will release it but apparently I'm beyond help because no one is doing anything or trying to help me! It's like they don't care or what?

"Experts" sent me a quality control report to review before approving the purchase and it was so vague and stated "It has undergone appearence modifications that could affect the after-sale service provided by the manufacturer. Vestiaire Collective accepts no responsibility in regards to this matter". How am I supposed to approve the purchase if they won't tell me what appearance modifications it has undergone? I sold my Rag and Bone wallet on July 11th and shipped it within a week. The buyer has not picked up the purchase for almost a month now so I am not getting paid. There needs to be a better system than this? There's no transparent customer service on this — I reached out on Instagram but haven't heard back with a Followup for days. Very over this.

I have sold over 50 items with them I was an expert seller and out of nowhere they blocked my account I am no longer able to log in or speak to Customer service they have blocked all email messages etc, they have a pending sale from me and have stole my money and my handbag I only sale high quality brands balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Givenchy and they have done this to me twice. The first time it was resolved. Now it's been one month and I haven't heard back from them I have no other way to contact them as they have blocked me out. I would NOT trust this company with your luxury sales

This company is a rip off. I sold some stuff, I asked over 10 times to release my funds and they kept suspending it saying something was wrong. My bank accounts and debit card were all correct - they didn't have a problem taking their service charge. Now it is Vestaire and nobody will help me. They have stolen money that is mine. Don't put your stuff on this site.

Be careful! They are defeinitely thieves and I am writinf this after more than 2 months that they have stolen or lost my products! They dont have a contact number and from their chat box u will get answers after 2-3 days only automatic messages to wait a bit more. A good idea but doesn't work in practice, zero customer service, no real people, send emails, ignored, nobody takes ownership of a problem, half of links on site do not work, I would NEVER sell anything through them the commission is astronomical about 30% and they do nothing for that... My worst ever E commerce experience, just a huge headache. AVOID

I have purchased 3 items from Vestiaire collective and found the pricing fair with high quality. I am able to somewhat connect with the seller and get information that I need. For all the fees being charged to the seller (causing higher prices) it would be nice if there was a 24-72 hour return policy when buying from individual sellers.

I had two real items failed their "authentication" process. I got a email saying to send $12 to Paris to cover shipping costs if I wanted the item back. Wth. I'm in the US. Why do I need to send to Paris when the sold goods were sent to a NYC address? I never got a response as to where my non compliant goods were and how long it would take for me to get it. I really don't understand what all the negative reviews are about! Personally I have had no problem with Vestiaire, I have emailed them about an order on a number of occasions and have received replies within a few hours and within a day at the latest. They have been very helpful and my item arrived as described! Maybe I'm just lucky but I would purchase off here again

I used Vestiaire for the first time and had very bad experience. The taxes are ridiculously high you can half of what you sold the item for. Better sell on eBay and other platforms but not Vestiaire. Day light robbery

I like that they have items from $50 to $5,000. They have an option to pre-check your item for quality before they ship it to you. They also have ratings for trustworthy sellers. All around great tracking and notifications. Now if only I had remembered to use my discount code on my first order!

I ordered a Birkin which cost me £******* ( approximately $*******; *******). Seller described the Birkin is brand new and never used. But! When I received it, I found there are scratches on the hardware and marks on the corner. Also, no protective films on some hardware! This is not what the sell said on VC! Seller said brand new, all films are on the hardware... Brand new birkin and Kelly always have protective films on the hardware! This seller is a cheater, she is very dishonest! The bag was apparently used by someone, either herself or someone else. But she sold the used bag for a brand news price! I reported to VC in the day I received it. However, no replies yet! Its been 5 working days! Of course, they dont want to miss the commission of this order, they can earn at least 25% of the order value. Customer service is useless and unconcerned! Worst online shopping experience ever! Will not buy Fromm VC again!

I was very concerned about purchasing from this site with all the negative reviews that I have seen but I am very happy I took a chance. I was able to purchase a beautiful vintage Gucci bag that was in pristine condition and looked exactly as pictured. The bag was shipped from France and I received it quicker than I anticipated - one week! And this was during the Christmas holidays. Only thing I wish is that the bag was stuffed so it could maintain its shape. It seems that there are a lot of sellers abroad on this site and it also seems like it may be difficult to return the bag if there is an issue - so I would recommend that you really study the pictures and research the item before you decide to make the purchase - it may be a hassle after the fact. But I would purchase again after doing my due diligence.

I ordered some shoes for which I have three others in size 39 (size 6) - the shoes they sent as 39 were not that size as my daughter who is a size 4, therefor not fit for purpose and they refuse to accept a return. The shoes came in a fake box and with no dust bag. Con artists!
