So far, my shopping experience has been very good. The delivery times are a bit long, but it's understandable since the items come from another country or continent. A very good app for buying clothes.
My experience with your company has been nothing short of a nightmare. You dragged out my sale for over four months, and when I finally got my purse back, it was in terrible condition due to your carelessness. To make matters worse, after all that time, you had the nerve to call it a sale and insulted me with a mere $25 payout. I've never been treated so poorly by any company before. I have been buying on Vestiaire Collective for almost 2 years now and am obsessed with this app. They have an incredible selection (tons of celeb & influencers sell with them) & everything is super well priced - you can also negotiate with the seller via chat. I have bought everything ranging from vintage Dior earings to a Gucci backpack, to vintage Hermes ashtray & brand new Baccarat candle holder. They also offer free shipping w/ Direct Shipping service for local orders so you save cash. Started selling with them too since they have really low seller fees & listing process just a few minutes.

Such a lack of communication :) non trustable at all. It can take days for your query to be solved.
There's always misleading information about sold items and most of the time the payment is delayed. Vestiare isn't following their rules about that.
There's also a lot of trolls-fake accounts, you cannot really trust the buyer and you have no protection from VC as a seller.
Misleading information as well about promotions.
Honesty I can write a book about bad experience with Vestiare Collective.
Being a member of their community for a couple of months gave me the worst energy ever, I've been always back and forth with them trying to resolve issues.
Now, I'm just withdrawing items day by day :)

I made 2 purchases from the app both of which were never sent and canceled by VC. Their FAQs state that refunds by PayPal will be processed in 24 hours. Well, it's been 24 hours and no refund. I contacted them by chat and the agent stated that it can actually take up to 5 days. Stay away from this business unless you like lending them your money for 20 days interest free.

The two pairs of shoes I ordered last year worked out great. However, of the 4 pairs I ordered recently, I have zero pairs of shoes, and cannot even get a refund on the pair of shoes that their team inspected and immediately fell apart during first wear. I lost at least $50 in authentication fees since 2 pairs failed authentication, and the 1 pair *SHOULD HAVE* failed authentication. I have also lost $55 on the actual cost of the shoes that broke immediately during first wear. There is some mystery delay with the 4th pair of shoes, and no projected date when I will get them. And Vestaire Customer Service is refusing to offer me a refund on the broken pair, or even a 15% discount for my next order to make up for all this. That's probably a good thing, because I never want to order from them again. There are plenty of competitors, and you can bet they will be gaining market share with Vestaire's customer service.

I would also choose 0 stars if possible. I bought a blazer supposedly of the brand Comme des Garçons from the site. I am sure it's a fake as the labels of quality are not conform to those of this brand. I sent it back to VC, with photos supporting my argument. They rejected my request for a refund, citing that the blazer was 'conform' in quality and that I have to accept a certain amount of 'usage' as it is a used garment. I actually don't even think it's used, which would have been fine. I am sure it's a fake, and they are too proud to admit that they missed it! Don't by anything that's Comme des Garçons from them.

I have not gotten my refund even tho over 2 weeks has passed since the refund was said to be made. I bought a bag that the seller never sent. They have told me so many times my money will by in my account in five days, in two days, today and so on. Everyone tells me different. The customer service is extremly bad. I wrote to them yesterday again and they said my money would come by today. But today I got an email that it will be five more days. Would not surprise me if thats not true also. I will file a police report

I received an offer from a buyer, I accept it. Shipped the item out, then 10 days later I receive a email from Vestairie, informing me that the buyer reported a problem... I was then advised to hang tight, that they; Vestairie, will work it out with the buyer, and then provide me with an update in 5 to 7 days. We'll that was over a month ago, since then, my account have been closed, I have not received my Celine bag back, neither have I received my earning for the sell. This site is dishonest. Their model is greatly flawed., Unlike Poshmark, once a buyer sends a offer, they are automatically committed to buying. If the seller accepts. With Vestairie, after you accept the offer the buy has 24 hrs. To decide. Flawed. And a complete waste of time. I'm going to call them Monday, and see if they have resolved this matter with the buyer. We'll see, as they have not made any attempt to contact me..

For their part they delivered quickly and beautifully. However the delivery system used for the U. S DHL is to be avoided at all cost as they lost my package and could not find it. I eventually did find it.

I purchased an item and for whatever reason, the carrier did not deliver to a parcel locker and just dropped it off in front of my apartment; item got stolen. Opened a case with vestiaire collective nearly TWO months ago. One month in, i was told that i would receive a refund by 1 october no matter what- that never happened.
About a week after that, i was told that the carrier officially confirmed the package lost- still no refund.
Nevermind the ridiculous length of time this simple issue is taking. The infuriating part is the misleading information the customer team is telling me. One person on the team says one thing, the next says somethign completely opposite.
In case you're wondering, the item i purchased was roughly $700 so its a pretty significant purchase.
I will never buy from these people again. The selection is great but the poor CX is just not worth the hassle anymore especially when there are other companies out there that provide a more seamless CX.

I sold a few unused items on this platform. First of all, the commission they charge is really high. And they always recommend a very low selling price so that to increase the selling chance. If you don't follow their advices price, then your item will not be promoted. Also, their QC team is full of unprofessional ppl that always pick on things that are even not a problem then to ask you lower the price. Moreover, they will directly cancel your items from sold list if they have doubt about the authenticity of items, and ask you to prove the authentic. Come on, who's gonna keep receipt all the time for tiny little items? If you want you items to be send back, they will ask for 12 euro to be paid first and then it will take up to one month to get your items back! Last but not least, the customer service is always absent! One person say hi to you and left, another person join the conversation said one sentence and then left!
Trust me, it's a real pain to deal with Verstaire!

I bought couple of items both from abroad and locally and was happy. I got items fast and was not disappointed.
Vestiaire also helped me sell couple of my closet items at good prices. I was paid surprisingly fast. I got money in the bank next day after it was processed. They process funds 3 days after buyer receives item. Their selling fees are reasonable for what they offer. There is 2 things I don't like:
seller description moderation as it is hard to find items e.g. scarf should be scarf no matter the country (I found cheche and handkerchief) or sometimes I found a jacket being named vest or exotic leather while it is just exotic print on regular leather
It used to be better but later they made the very high VAT fees for abroad orders
Customer support is pretty good and responds fast.

They have sent me an email stated that they paid me to my bank account but this money never reach it- I have contacted them several times, every time explaining again what happened - and they have promised to sent me the proof of payment. They failed to do that, and I either have my item nor my money. AVOID.

I was shocked with the extra fees added to items I planned to purchase. You have to consider that Vestiaire will add ca 140% to the prices (shipping, insurance, authentication and control fees + all kinds of custom taxes for EU). So my 323 dollar order became 747 dollar order (including already 30 dollars newcomer offer)! It makes pointless to buy used items if the prices will be actually 140% higer then advertised.

Disgusting. NEVER PURCHASE FROM THEM. No email address for international customers to enable resolution. Placed order and paid but only after advised dont send to PO BOX so now risk of parcel being stolen from apartment block. Ordered 3 items. One unauthentic so refunded but not the cost of delivery. One month later advised an item is no longer available. How can this be? Again refunded but not the delivery charge. I am now stuck with a small silk sleeveless shirt whereby I got screwed a AUD$70 delivery for their non conformance of two other items. No customer service. Cant cancel last item. First they blocked a purchase because they said they cannot deliver to other countries. Then when i repeated them they rudely "corrected" me and said continents. Then when I changed me delivery address to be within the same country as the seller/item they STILL block it. CS told me it's because my billing address is in the US... wtf? I have never had an issue like this before. And CS couldn't care less. These policies make zero sense what a horrific company. I was so excited to buy a purse just in time for my sister's birthday and so I wanted to do my due diligence first by speaking to the seller about the details of the product especially since I was a new user and customer with Vestiare. I was about to confirm with the seller and find myself being blocked by the app from chatting with the seller for no apparent reason. I received no email notification of the chat ban and customer service chat has also claimed to have "escalated" the issue 2 days ago but I have received no updates or response. This has been the worst experience for me since I have just spent 2 moths salary on this purchase for what was supposed to be a happy celebration and moment.
My the chat ban on my account needs to be immediately lifted. This is just such a poor service all in all. I want my money back!

I sold my first item last week, but had to cancel it as the courier company (Couriers Please) had no record of me despite the fact I downloaded the mailing label. They were not told to come and pick up my item, and I was not told anything at all. I contacted them and they had not received any information before then. Once they realised, they were very apologetic but by then, it was too late and my sale was lost. I do not understand how this is supposed to work when the courier company does not realise they have an item to pick up. I also do not understand how I am supposed to know when the courier is scheduled to pick up the item if they don't tell me. How am I supposed to make sure I'm home so the item can be picked up!?

I've placed an order for a Tiffany engagement ring for $3,886.08 USD with Vestiaire.
The order was placed on 05/19 and included import tax to bring the ring to Mexico (I paid the import tax at check out).
The ring arrived to Mexico, was stuck in the customs for 3 weeks and then was sent back to the sender. It was never delivered to me.
According to DHL tracking, the ring has arrived back to Vestiaire on 06/26.
Today is 08/10, I still haven't received the ring OR the refund.
I've been in constant communication with customer support in chat and email, but until now they haven't provided me with the ring OR the refund.
I can't believe this is happening. My engagement has been delayed by 3 months already because of their poor business practices.
On their website they mention that they'll provide a refund if an item has been lost by the carrier. It's a lie since it's been 3 months and they haven't provided a refund

The last order I received that had supposedly been quality checked arrived in a terrible condition. They also do absolutely nothing to ensure that items advertised are genuine, they just state that the item will be quality checked and authentcity will be established once they receive the item following a purchase. I really don't think they have the expertise to guarantee items are genuine or not. I have highlighted non genuine items on the site to the moderators and they ignore it. I read through several of the negative reviews before purchasing, but I found my particular vintage item at a great price so decided to purchase anyway. I didn't have any trouble at all - the item was delivered to me within a reasonable time frame, and I was kept up to date on it's status in the app.
