I bought a speedy 35 which is rated "good condition" and it was okay. Then I bought a pochette accessoires nm without getting an external authenticator because I trusted them. The bag arrived and it looks sooo off with visible damage on the side hook, it was even rated "very good condition". I wonder if Vestiare collective's quality control even exist? Or they basically just didn't check properly and send the product. I wouldn't buy anything from them anymore!

VESTIAIRE should be ashamed of their customer service! Their representatives are not helpful at all and they have no power to resolve any issues. They have cost me money due to their mistake. They returned an item to me because the zipper was sticking (understandable), however, they placed the original value on the bag for customs, so I got charged to receive my own bag! They could not see the error that if the bag was not sellable at that price then that should not be the value put own the customs paperwork. I had to PAY TO get my own bag back... When I called them, they were not at all helpful... HORRIBLE SERVICE!

I attempted to cancel an order from a "Professional Seller" and was told by site that only the seller can cancel. Then seller told me only site can cancel. The order was canceled within hour of purchasing. No money lost as they weren't even shipped. *******@3662marina is listed as an expert seller probably because she is dishonest.

Do not buy on Vestiaire. This company doesnt care at all about the buyers and doesnt punish at all the irresponsible sellers. And if you leave a negative comment on a sellers profile, they delete it. So the potential buyers cannot know at all if a seller is a good one or a bad one because Vestiaire deletes all negative comments from unsatisfied buyers. The badge Trusted Profile worths nothing. I have bought a jacket from one Trusted Profile but the seller has not delivered the sold item and, furthermore she lied to me about the delivering the item. My negative comments on the sellers profile have been deleted.
I will never buy again on Vestiaire, there is a plenty of another excellent websites for pleasant shopping.

Beware of the illegal actions of Vestiaire. It's just simply unacceptable from a global large firm.
On 30 May 2023, I ordered a phone cover for 80 euros. I chose delivery at collection point, thus the total price was 88 euros. I got a confirmation of order at 88 euros. However, when I checked my bank account, they had charged me 92,5€ (as if I had chosen delivery to home). When I contacted customer service, they did not assume responsibility despite clear evidence.
It's simply unacceptable (and illegal) to charge more than agreed. Seems that I am not the only one who has got this treatment. This is a case for class action.
Update: Vestiaire team contacted me 31 May, telling me that they cannot affect my choice of delivery address. So, they did not even reply to the issue. This issue is not about delivery address, it is about delivery method which has been changed after order confirmation. Their web platform obviously has a glitch that needs to be repaired by their tech team, but the "let's play dum"-customer-service-team likes to blame it on the customers. Not cool!
Update: The Vestiaire team contacted me on 3 June, unable to explain why confirmed order price has changed from 88 euros to 92,5 euros in their systems. They refuse to take any liability.
Update: The Vestiaire team contacted me on 6 June, taking responsibility and providing me a 15€ voucher.

I bought a Louis Vuitton Courtney bag AU$1200 it was shipped from Europe to Australia crammed in a cardboard box with no wrapping whatsoever or dust bag... I was so shocked to see it just sitting there crammed in (there was a piece of brown paper on the bottom of the box) it took me two days to get it back in shape and when I contacted the Customer Service chat line I was given the answer 'what do you want me to do about it' I was given no apology or assurance that this would not happen in the future or reason why it was not placed in their companies dust bag at least (which past items I have bought have been) they were shipping this bag from Europe to Australia so they were aware it had to go thousands of kilometres and all they did was shove it in a box it was a miracle it was not damaged... I will not feel safe to buy from this company again as I cannot take the risk of these expensive items being disrespectfully packed without any care or concern

I paid for their authentication service in addition to a vintage Fendi handbag from this site. When i received the item it was obviously a fake and I was extremely disappointed.
I complained to their customer service team as well as sent photos of the issues i had with the bag. To which they continued to respond with an automated reply, saying they will 're-verify my item if i send it back to them'.
I asked them, why would i trust you to verify my item again when you clearly did not authenticate it correctly to begin with? They continued to send me pre-written responses, not even reading what i was writing.
I asked for a full refund and stated that i would, of course, return the bag. I also asked them to actually read my messages and not send me automated responses. They told me their team would have to re-authenticate the bag, and if they find it to match the sellers description (aka. Real) then they would resell it under my own profile?
Such a mess of a website/process. Don't waste your money.

Wish I would have checked out reviews before spending a couple thousand. I purchased a pair of Versace jeans for $150 from this crappy company. The seller had them listed as a 32w, just like the tag says. However, upon arrival I notice the pants are actually bigger than the tag. Being a retired mens retailer manager for yrs, I double checked the size and discovered they are actually a size 36. Filled out a return request and sent them back. A week or so later I got a notice stating that I was wrong and that the authentication experts checked the pants and they are correct as a size 32. When I went to my account they already had the pants Relisted and up for sale with their regular fees. I removed the pants from my sales and disputed the authentication process again. After going several rounds with them on their chat site, since they don't have a phone number listed. I submitted these pictures three times and was still told that I was wrong about the size and return. What crappy CS and a horrible authentication dept, if it even exists. I finally managed to get my money back after I threatened to get my attorney involved. At this point it isn't about the $ but the principal of it. I have deleted my account and will
NO longer do business with this crooked company.

They were scheduled to pick up my item on Friday however they didn't come!
It took me 19 hours and several attemtps to even receive a reply on the chat. Their incompetent lazy representative called JOHN G (AVOID AT ALL COST) just brushed the 19 hour wait time off with a 'sorry for late reply"
He also said that had I contacted them earlier they might have figured something out to help me. A FCKINH JOKE!

Over 3 weeks ago they sent me an empty box when I had ordered an LV bag. Had sent it to be verified by them first before coming to me from the seller. When I opened the box to see no bag inside the LV box, they keep claiming they have to open an investigation with the carrier, even though there I keep telling them there's no way anyone could open and reseal that box and that is has to be at their office after it was sent there for verification. Now, 3 weeks later when I ask for updates on the case, they just close the conversation chat window on me and when I email I get template auto emails about still working on it (Still, 3 weeks later.). Have opened a PayPal case as they seem unwilling to give me money back even though they sent me an empty box! I Literally don't even want my money back, just want them to check their offices for my bag for the £400 bag I paid for, and send it to me.
The whole process has been so stressful, I still don't have the bag or my money back and ive had to consistently contact them over 3 weeks as no one will get in contact or follow up for you-- it's like they're just waiting for you to give up or something!

I have been buying and selling multiple items so far on VC so I have had a great experience as a buyer and customer. So far so good. I noticed however that any buyer can return an item without any good reason within 72 hours upon reception. Vc doesn't verify the truth of the issue raised by the buyer.
So you risk loosing the sale and your badge for no real reason.
Case: I finally sold a ring which was returned to me the first as non compliant ( in fact it went under quality control and suggested to change it into good condition from very good condition as it was originally listed). This item was sold the second time to a buyer as in good condition. However the buyer when he received it broke it due to an improper use (he pushed too hard on the metal part to adjust the size) and returned it saying it was broken.
Vestiaire then cancelled the sale and returned the item back to me without any explanation.
I am very disappointed! Not only I lost the sale, the seller status but also the item that I can't relist and wear anymore! I paid many commissions to vc for their service and they must do something about this and refund me the value of the sale. If they don't have any insurance to cover the damage of the items when they are sent out (improper use of people handling them) they should be ready to refund them if they get visibly damaged and broken while they are at buyer or at quality control for review.
I have read other similar experiences of items being lost broken or damaged and they must do something about this.
It is not acceptable by a company with these high standards.

BUYER BEWARE: Back in September, I ordered a brown crocodile St. Laurent handbag - shortly after I received an unopened, undamaged box from Fed ex. Inside the fed ex box, there was a St. Laurent box and dust bag BUT inside the dust bag was a black Love Moschino handbag. I immediately reached out to Vestiaire customer service and informed them I recovered the wrong merchandise and provided photos. I have been in contact with Vestiaire customer service ever since documenting everything along the way. Vestiaire has taken zero responsibility and has done absolutely nothing to remedy the situation, They have not allowed me to return the incorrect merchandise I have received. They have not given me a refund. They have not sent me the correct bag. Instead, they simply keep telling me to open another claim with fed ex as it MUST be fed ex's fault — 6 fed ex claims and months of dialogue with Vestiaire CS and NO one is doing a damn thing. Fed ex delivered the box as they received it and I received it in perfect form. There is no denying that. And yet, Vestiaire's answer is that someone at fed ex opened my box guessing it contained a handbag and happened to have a spare handbag on hand to replace it with. Yeah — that makes sense. Do NOT purchase from this site and if you do, pray you get the correct item because customer service is a joke!

I ordered a Brown crocodile Saint Laurent handbag and spent over $1300. I received an intact, unopened box from the shipper (fedex) but inside the box was the wrong item. I received a Saint Laurent box and dust bag BUT inside the dust bag was a crappy black Love Moschino bag. I immediately contacted the company. They took no responsibility. Blamed the shipper despite me saying this was NOT a shipping error. The contents were the error. Please note: I also paid Vestiaire an authentication fee — and yet STILL received the wrong item. I do not know if I have been deceived by the seller or the company. BUT I do know the company is taking no responsibility and failing to assist as all. DO NOT ORDER from them or be prepared to throw your money away.

I'm writing to warn mainland Chinese sellers to not sell on Vestiaire Collective unless you don't mind being discriminated. Recently VC asked me for every single item I sold for purchase proof. It's a pain to look for the receipts of items purchased years ago so I decided to quit selling. Besides if their HK authentication team can only confirm authenticity based on the purchase proof they are not qualified to do the job. There is the last pending sale and I was hesitant of shipping it so I emailed the so called 'experts' the receipt of the dress to see if they can pre approve it. They never replied. But I thought the dress is in brand new with tags condition and I have the original receipt so I shipped it anyways. On the same day the dress arrived at HK hub they issued the report saying the dress is fake. I contacted the customer service and submitted all the receipts again and they sent me their stereotype template saying the item is not compliant blah blah and please send us the purchase proof. The customer service is useless they don't read your message let alone do research before answering you.
I filed a complaint with HK consumer council, I suggest sellers who encounter the same problem do the same too.

I ordered a collectable watch from the site. What was listed was a brand new item with all relevant accessories and a stamped warranty card from a well known retailer.
What arrived was a dirty used watch with none of these items.
The authentication check you pay for is supposed to check for three things, that it matches the listing (it doesn't), that it matches the condition advertised (it doesn't) and that it is authentic (it might be, but all of the provenence is missing.
At best I received a package worth about 50% of what was advertised, at worst I have a fake watch.
Then the real fun starts, customer service is poor and their refund policy borders on illegal. You can return the item for re-examination, but if they deem it to still match these elements, they will relist the now much lower value item and send you a percentage.
It is not their fault that the seller has misrepresented the item, but the whole point of the QC process you pay for is to ensure rubbish like this does not make it through to the buyer.
Thankfully I paid with PayPal, so I have some support in reclaiming the money spent, but now I wait to see if I am able to achieve a refund. Something which should be very simple.
Based on this experience I can only recommend you avoid until the QC process actually has some value.

Vestiaire Collective checked the condition of the bag and they sent me that bag. I returned the bag and they accepted it! I paid 15.103,00 polish złoty and they transfered me only 13.672,65 zł! I lost 1430, 35 zł! I was scammed! DO NOT BUY FROM Vestiaire Collective! I'm now refering my case to European Union Consumer Ombudsman. Please do the same!
