So far, my shopping experience has been very good. The delivery times are a bit long, but it's understandable since the items come from another country or continent. A very good app for buying clothes.
My experience with your company has been nothing short of a nightmare. You dragged out my sale for over four months, and when I finally got my purse back, it was in terrible condition due to your carelessness. To make matters worse, after all that time, you had the nerve to call it a sale and insulted me with a mere $25 payout. I've never been treated so poorly by any company before. - I bought a Louis Vuitton pouch which is brand new. The price was not at the end cheaper but exactly the same price if I would buy from the store, because of many charges at the checkout.
The item is in excellent condition with receipt, authentication certificate and everything.
- It arrived earlier than the date they gave me, which is amazing.
* The only issue was that even if I paid on checkout all the import taxes and duties for Switzerland, the Post office asked me to pay on top another 90 CHF. Then I contact the Help Center, they checked for me and then they refund the amount that I paid to the post office. The money reflected in my account within 24 hours. So Help Center was really proactive in my case and helpful. Although they sent me a link which says that I have to pay taxes and duties at checkout and then if the item arrives and the country is charging more I have to pay again. That doesn't make sense at all. Why to pay 2 times? Either you cover it or not!
Overall, I had a great experience for first time. I don't know how is about the used items, but what I would only change is that they need to guarantee to the customers the cover of all the taxes and duties expenses. Because the only reason I ordered from them is because of that. I order only from online stores that cover those expenses, so I will not be surprised when my order arrives.

I bought a 12/26 bag and on the same day I chatted with an attendant, he told me about their rules, and that I could cancel if the seller hadn't sent it, so on the 12/27th early I asked the seller to cancel, he said he couldn't as he would lose some reputation, and he asked me to do that which of course they don't give me that option and neither does the support for. The case and I asked for it to be canceled before it was sent, the seller didn't care about that and still sent the product, and Vestiaire said I can't cancel, but their employee said I could. So i cant anything there? And I have all the proof about it. Look how the product was sent to me on 12/28 and I had asked for cancellation on 12/27

I tried to sell an item on Vestiaire Collective and received a shipping label but it was unclear which courier I should go to to ship my item. Upon enquiry, VC replied that pre paid shipping is not available in my country. I was very surprised because all along VC has advertised that it is completely "free" (except commission) for a seller to sell the item. Nowhere in the whole process of submitting an item to sell did they mention that pre paid shipping is only available in certain countries. I would have thought, given the commission that they charge, shipping would be paid for by them. Had I known this, I would have raised the sale price or choose somewhere to sell. Like other reviewers have commented, their customer service was not helpful at all. I made my complaint to VC and demanded that shipping be paid for by them, and they replied that people in my country can order from VC but are not supposed to sell on VC, therefore they will not be responsible for the shipping fee. Overall, VC has made it so difficult for people to buy and sell things on their site - they charge a high commission, and having buyers and (some) sellers have to pay expensive shipping costs, their service is adding very little value to users of the website (especially some reviewers have said that they have received fakes)!

Read this before you sell something on this website!
On tis platform i sold 2 items, first one went well i was happy and my customer as well.
After listing another item which was sold for *******$ i received email that my item was found not authentic, even i was 100% sure that item was authentic i agreed to transfer 12 euros for returning my item back.
3 weeks i have not received any updates or emails, my item even was removed from my listings with no status.
I was talking with agents every day and each of them keep telling me item will be shipped soon, in the beginning they even told me that they have not received payment.
At the end of the day when i read reviews about Vestiaire found same case, to that seller agents told that her item was lost and they wont pay her back. After this i start texting and sending emails every day and finally i received my payment but not the item.
So how they payed me if the item was not sold and not authentic?
And this is not the end of the story, after few days i received email saying my account is suspended, so i kept asking to the agent why? And there is no answer!
So dont sell expensive items over there! They even do not have hotline where you can call! And agents are unprofessional sending same texts like chat bots.

I have been selling and buying since 2013 on VC now. I never received a counterfeit product, I have always received my money of sold items, they have always replied to me within the week. You have to pay 30% selling costs but that's the case for all the places where you sell luxury items. It is one of the best ways to sell you high-end items, according to me. There are only two things about their policy that I don't like and would want differently:
1) if I buy something, I have to pay immediately. This means I pay a lot of money upfront. Sometimes the seller does not have the item anymore, or for another reason the transaction gets cancelled because the seller does not respond to VC. Then I have to wait for cashback. This can take up to a month, but not longer. But still.
2) they reject my pieces quite often, for reasons that I don't understand. I have amazing Zara pieces that everybody still wants but then VC says the price is too low (of course, it IS ZARA), or the item does not respond to the current demand (which is not true). So getting your things on VC is not that easy, even for really good items.
For what it's worth, don't believe all the nasty comments posted here. Just try buying with VC, just to see for yourself, even if it's a small piece to start off with. The comments here a very brutal and really, I only have good experiences.

I purchased an authentic Gucci bag which was in excellent condition when I received it, came with the original dust bag and box that were in great conditions. The only issue I had was the bag was much larger than I had anticipated, however I turned around and sold it to The Real Real and got all of my money back as the bag sold pretty quickly in their Los Angeles store.

Sold an item, they provide you with the courier details and you have ur item picked up by there courier
They provided a PO BOX address but there courier company does not accept PO BOX as an address. I've been trying for 4 weeks to get a street address so I can have there courier pick up item and ship to customer
Three of there staff have said they will get back to me with a street address, but 4 weeks later, I still have heard back.

I would have liked to give no Star to this review, which unfortunately was not possible. I ordered 200€ sunglasses over the platform that arrived with a high delay because tracking numbers changed and the article was repacked and resent multiple times. When the article reached me (after already being in touch with the customer support) it was completely destroyed and I contacted the support with the multiple tracking numbers to get a refund. The glasses are scratched, completely out of shape and the Etui looks like a car drove over it. The article had clearly been repacked after being destroyed and sent to me, as also the multiple tracking numbers and the long delay show. Following the requiries of the damage report I handed in all the documents (including a handwritten declaration with dates and all tracking numbers) and multiple pictures proving how I received the article. The customer support was absolutely unfair trying to put the blame on the delivery service. In the end they accused me of not following their shipping policies for whatever reason even though I didn't sent or return an article... The case was handled by different support people creating confusion and feeling absolutely not understood or valued as a customer. They now leave me with broken sunglasses and a 200€ damage. The worst part of all is that the customer support sent me pictures how their employee wrapped my article and the pictures CLEARLY show that the article is completely damaged! Still they don't cover the damage sending me standardized emails which is beyond unprofessional and embarassing...

For those people who have been sent fake things by Vestiare Collective and have been asked for proof they are fake. These sites are well known and can do written and email authentication. Etinceler Authentications, Authenticate4U, and Lollipuff Authentications. I'd claim back the cost of the authentication too, from Vestiare once proven to be fake.

I've read reviews and there was a pattern where their purchases would be constantly cancelled by the app and it happens to me with EVERY PURCHASE. When I finally made a successful purchase and it was being shipped out, it said it was delivered but there was no package. So I filled out the form to request them to investigate and I get no answer regarding whether I'm getting a refund or not. $500+ WASTED. I'm still waiting for at least a response. They lose your packages and don't do crap about it. Each interaction I have with their "team" they give very poor effort and don't help you. This company doesn't even have a number to call, so that was already a red flag to begin with. I am waiting for my refund and this was the last straw for me, I am never using this app again. DO NOT USE THIS APP. They will waste your time and stall until you give up.

First two purchases I made on Vestiaire went well. Third time I made a purchase it was for a handbag which wasn't even a expensive designer bag, but it still was required to go through their "authentication" process. I received the bag & it had alterations to it that were not mentioned in the listing or shown in the listing photos. I immediately requested a refund & they told me to send it back for them to inspect it again. Their authentication process cannot be opted out from even for cheaper non designer items. It also is a pointless waste of money because the bag was inspected by them & sent to me despite being different than what was shown in the listing?! Thankfully they accepted & refunded me. I took a chance & made a 4th purchase which was 7 days ago & the seller has not shipped it & I emailed Vestiaire because if the seller doesn't ship in 7 days I am supposed to get a refund. I have not heard back from them nor received my refund yet. I am waiting one more day before I open a dispute via PayPal to get my money back for an item I have yet to receive. I will also no longer be using them to purchase items. I shop a lot for luxury designer goods but Vestiaire is just too risky to deal with & I will spend my money else where from now on.

Check the item very well before you buy it. Ask a lot of questions to the seller. Don't rely on the listing descriptions or on Vestiaire Collective feedback because they are inaccurate. I doubt the existence of a competent 'team of experts' that they keep referring to. Their refund policy works well if you are dissatisfied with the item and return it within 7 days past that period it becomes a total mess. It happened to me as I was on vacation and was only able to check the item after I returned from my holidays. The item which was listed as new had cracks which the seller fraudulently refused to acknowledge despite the photos I sent him. No actions were taken by Vestiaire Collective against the seller. On the contrary they advised me to resell the defected item on their site! I refused. It took them two weeks of back and forth emails until they agreed to refund on exceptional basis only because I am a good client and not because I am an ripped off client! By that time I was out of my country. They sent me the wrong waybill courrier label which was not accepted by the courrier and they insisted on having the item returned within 7 days. They finally asked me to pay for the return waybill since the courrier was not accepting the wrong one they sent me. I refused. Bottom line…don't expect a good customers protection policy. They don't care about their reputation or the reputation of their sellers and buyers, they just want to collect their fees.

Don’t rely on the descriptions of the item. Ask questions to the seller about defects, measurements, actual color, etc…

Please avoid Vestiaire Collective - as the previous user wrote, there is no buyer protection, and there is no customer service number. I purchased a BV Cassette bag from a seller a Germany who claimed the bag as new/never worn. Vestiaire "authenticated" the bag, and then shipped it to me in NY - i had to pay for shipping and the authentication fee, and custom duties ($$$)
When i received the bag, i immediately saw it had been worn - there were clear signs of discoloration at the back and on the strap. They refused to offer any recourse except 10% site credit of the price of bag (not incl. All the fees they imposed and taxes I paid), or to send the bag back for another round of quality control. If they deemed it was new per "their rules" I would have to pay for shipping again to have it sent back to me or relist in on the site. This process could take weeks/months. This whole time I had to communicate via email and when I requested a customer service # to call, they would refuse. The process has been so time consuming and frustrating and after all of it I am stuck with a used bag i overpaid for:(
Rebag, TheRealReal, Tradesy are much better options. Avoid Vestiaire.

Stay away, I have purchased a lot on here! But from this summer Vestiaire service came to unuseful completelly.
Once I paid the order, I discovered another order with another items, another price and another cost of delivery, which was high increadibly on my Vestiaire account.
Moreover,
I did not receive this "fake" order, and, in the same way, I did not receive my order, which I really placed.
I received no help from Vestiaire Support with this strange and abnormal situation, Vestiaire customer service did not explain anything as to why this happened, and I did not get a refund for this incorrect order that I never placed.
All my billions of messages to Vestiaire support were ignored.
Later, I myself discovered that this item, which I did not receive and for which I was charged, appeared again in the list of items on sale and from the same Seller! So, this item, which was not delivered, returned to the Seller and went on sale again.
I notified Vestiaire support about this, but again, this information was also ignored. This seller is listed as a Trusted Vestiaire Seller!
Vestiaire customer service ignored all my requests, all my questions about my real order that I made, and all my messages asking me to look into the situation where my real order, confirmed by picts on my part, was replaced with a "fake" order that I never did and I never received.
Losing money, a lot of nerves, a lot of stress - this is about Vestiaire Collective, how it works.
I can attest to other customers' experiences, Vestiare's support is very poor. I don't recommend Vestiaire Collective longer.
Honestly, stay away. It's very nice of me to give one star, they deserve zero stars! They don't care about good clients!
