So far, my shopping experience has been very good. The delivery times are a bit long, but it's understandable since the items come from another country or continent. A very good app for buying clothes.
My experience with your company has been nothing short of a nightmare. You dragged out my sale for over four months, and when I finally got my purse back, it was in terrible condition due to your carelessness. To make matters worse, after all that time, you had the nerve to call it a sale and insulted me with a mere $25 payout. I've never been treated so poorly by any company before. Your customer service was not just unhelpful—it was downright dismissive and incompetent at every step. This has been an absolute disaster from start to finish. Before and after pictures
TERRIBELE service and more terrible customer support. Their people don't do their jobs at all. They ignore, block, dont answer questions, and even if you are lucky to get a reply - you will get a standart phrase that dont give you any info. They dont know how to do authentication of designer items, dont even communicate.
As a Seller I would NEVER recommend working with this marketplace. They make you pay money to get your item back through the wire transfer (not PayPal or other NORMAL way of payment). For already a second month I can not get back 4 of my items with total cost for over 1k (!) (even though I had to pay $98(!) for wire transfer for 4 returns).
I sent several emails starting from September 8,2021 to get my items back - received no response.
Somehow through online chat got 2 items back. Regarding other 2 items - nothing.
That is THE WORST platform I worked with and can not wait to get my returns back and END this one way communication with Vestiaire Collective.
Again, NEVER WORK with this marketplace.

I bought a Gucci handbag from Vestiaire, upon its arrival I was not convinced of its authenticity so decided to go back to the original listing to check the details. When searching for the original listing I found a second listing (sold to another customer) using identical photos. Both listings show photos of the bag with the same serial number. Massive red flag! I then decided to research the bag a little and found that Gucci has never made a bag with the dimensions of the one a received. Upon voicing my concerns to Vestiaire I was told to send the bag back to Paris to be verified again. They checked the bag within less than 24 hours of receiving it and told me it was authentic so would be sent back. They would not provide any more information than that and refused to answer my questions for proof of authenticity. Now there is no sign of the bag being sent to me and customer service refuse to give me a clear answer. Every different person I deal with via email or chat fobs me off with a generic template answer. Now I am over €600 out of pocket and don't even have the (fake) item to show for it. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING USING THIS WEBSITE.

Rating these people isn't on the chart because they're HORRIBLE. My daughter purchased a purse from these people she spent 1500.00 on this purse for me as a birthday gift tge zipper broke on it she tried to contact Vestiaire my daughter was put on hold and no one ever came back she called again but never got anywhere with them so I took my purse to the louis vittion store to get the zipper fixed but they told me is a nice way that it wasn't a louis vittion it was HARD PLASTIC. I'm hoping to help anyone out there that maybe planning to spend your hard earned money to NOT LET THESE PEOPLE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. That's exactly what they did to my daughter that was heartbreaking for me to tell her that it wasn't real she was scammed by these horrible people.
Tip for consumers:
I can’t give these people anything rating because it’s a zero

I bought a Chanel suede coat from VC 20/10/2020 in "very good condition". It arrives and is damaged with marks to the skin and dirty -clearly it has not passed through their control system.
VC then issued a wrong DHL label, which made DHL loose it in their system for over a month. I had to try to rectify their mistake with countless hours on the phone with DHL. The coat was then wrongly sent to an old address of mine in France (I live in the US). Finally, after 2 months, the coat was with them at VC warehouse in France. They then took over a month to process the return.
I payed the coat in USD, using my a credit card in another currency. Because VC only returned the amount to my account 13/1/2021, the dollar had lost its value, and the amount they transferred back to my account was 180 dollars less then what I transferred to them in October 2020. If VC had not 1) lost the coat and then 2) spent months processing their mistake, all this could have been avoided. I've provided them with bank statements and spent literally dozens of hours with customer "service" throughout this whole story, and still they will not return the 180 usd. Absolutely horrible experience.
Do not shop here, they do not ensure a quality check, and then steal your money/do not own up to their mistake. I've been lied to by people at their customer service (saying they'll get back to me on certain dates, and then not doing so, telling me the processing will be done before Christmas), and only when I threatened to report them to Mastercard for fraud did they return my money partially.
Such a shame, because I've been a faithful enthusiast of VC for many years. But after this experience I'm never endorsing them again. My tip to anyone would be to save yourselves the high blood pressure, and extremely unsecure customer experience, and spend your time and money elsewhere.

Listed and sold a phenomenal pair of vintage Salvatore Ferragamo leather boots. I sent them to the quality control department and got a message saying that the boots had a loose heel (totally false!) and were not in as good of condition as I described them to be. They insisted that I lower the price of the boots by nearly half to sell them to the buyer. I reluctantly agreed, then they said the buyer didn't want the boots any longer and they were going to send them back to me. Next, I sold a gorgeous patent leather Salvatore Ferragamo vintage handbag. Well, I got an email making me a lowball offer on the bag, which I decided to accept. I was then told the bag sold and that I could print a shipping label and send it to them. I printed the label sent it to them and then a week or so later, I was looking at the items I had for sale and I saw that the bag was still listed as available for sale, and that it had not been sold. I was puzzled, so I contacted their customer service department and was told that the bag had not sold. I asked them why they told me the bag was sold if it wasn't and why they told me to ship it if it hadn't been sold and they just said they could send it back to me if I wanted them to. I was totally dismayed and puzzled as to why they did this. It's made me feel very uneasy about selling on this site.

Where do I even start? I guess with the fact that I bought a pair of Jimmy Choo boots and then waited 6 weeks to get them. SIX. WEEKS. The boots FINALLY arrived. I put one of them on to try it and the boot got stuck on my foot because the zip was completely broken. With great difficulty (having to entirely unlace the boot then re-lace it) I got the boot off. Emailed Vestiaire to tell them. It took them SEVEN DAYS to get back to me. Every single email in fact took them at LEAST 5 days to answer. I finally put a negative post on their Facebook reviews and only then did I get a useful answer; or so I thought. They sent me a returns label. I put the returns label in the box and organised DHL. DHL came and said to me "there is other paperwork that you will need". What paperwork? No idea. Vestiaire hadn't told me. Emailed YET AGAIN. Waited another week for an answer. You know what the answer was "I don't know. I will have to ask my manager". I mean are these guys on drugs? It is not EIGHT WEEKS after I got these boots and STILL I am waiting to return them because of the unbelievable delays at the other end. Like I said: the single worst shopping experience of my life. If it hadn't happened to me I would not believe it possible.

I dont even know how to start this review. So I posted for sale a set of Alpina Swiss made Cufflinks for £60 then that is where this tale of horror, friendship, heartache and tragedy started. I received a message from Vestiaire Collective saying my item had been deleted and this was a item that could not be sold, As you can imagine I was rather perturbed by this statement, So as any hero of a spectacular tale would have done I contacted the live chat from the app, Now this is were the tale friendship happened...I was put into a chat with a fine gentleman called Harrison and may I say this soldier tried and tried but the powers above would not let him help. I was sent a very generic message saying they would not allow my treasurer on the app as it was classed as a lifestyle item with it been Cufflinks...well as you can imagine to my horror what do my eyes see upon this fine app? I'll tell you...I find Cufflinks from brands such as Paul Smith and so on, so I replied to my good friend Harrison...How can you allow these treasurer's but not mine? Then he responded without hesitation...We apologise but we do not accept Alpina as a brand anymore on our website...Well with this as you can imagine my heart fell I was destroyed I could not believe this to be true! But they are the rules so I admitted defeat with a heavy heart...But! As you reading this, just when I thought the journey was over and the story was finished...To my horror and In my wildest dreams could i not have imagine this...what do I spy with my little eye! Well my friend's ill tell, I see the exact same product I was selling been sold on the app for £234! Well as you can imagine I was shocked horrified so I take screen shots and pass these on to my fellow compadre Harrison of the house of Vestiaire! Well do hear more not but a wisper...I've been left for 2 hours in a chat by myself...no response no nothing, what a sad ending to such a journey. Thanks Charlie

I purchased a handbag from Vestiaire Collective, spending $1.6K and received an empty box. I contacted them immediately while still standing at the FedEx location where I picked up my order. They had me send photos of the box, my ID, a handwritten statement of what happened, and all they did with that is call FedEx to start an investigation. Fedex found nothing wrong with their shipment and then Vestiaire replied back to me after a week and a half of waiting to say "I'm so sorry for the disappointment and inconvenience this has caused." and then suggested I contact Fedex myself in the hopes that they reopen the investigation while not offering a refund or any recourse whatsoever. Basically saying too bad, we are taking your money and you don't get a bag….
Throughout my entire chain of emails and chat history with Vestiaire I repeatedly asked them why the shipment of the bag from the seller to their authentication location was a different weight as shown in the tracking than the shipment of the bag from the VC authentication location to me. They never acknowledged this question, and I asked it several times. How does a package weight drop to almost nothing? But alas, much easier for Vestiaire Collective to blame fedex than investigate their own operations. Also, in order to get in contact with Vestiaire Collective customer care agent, you have to navigate your way through a chat bot to determine what you are contacting them about before they connect you with a live agent…and one of the options you can select is "received an empty box"…. So I am definitely one of many people with this issue if they have that as a common customer inquiry option listed in their chat!
So I paid $1.6k and am left with an empty box, a bunch of frustrating and useless emails and zero trust for Vestiaire Collective. The worst customer service I have ever received online shopping. Ever. This is a fraudulent operation.
Tip for consumers:
Don’t. Run away. Shop somewhere else where you are protected.

I purchased a bag from Vestiaire Collective at the end of December. Within 30seconds of looking at it when it arrived I could tell it was a fake. I have sent the item back (one week ago), have rung repeatedly and sent emails but all I have had from them is an email telling me it can take up to 2 weeks for quality control to reassess the item. Why does it take their so called authenticators up to 2 weeks to recheck an item that they passed in one day when it was sent to them from the original seller? I already own one of these bags in a different colour, purchased direct from Bottega Veneta in London so I sent comparison photographs and listed everything that is wrong with their fake bag so it should be pretty straightforward. I bought this item as a gift for my daughters 16th birthday and it has been such a disappointing experience which is still unresolved. I will update further when I hear from Vestiaire. If they send this bag back to me I will refuse to accept it and take further steps but Im hoping things will be resolved satisfactorily.

I placed an order during a period of time when they were offering a site-wide discount of 10% and purchased a very expensive item. It was over the weekend and their site and app was having trouble accepting the code. Since it was a sought after item I made the purchase and erroneously figured they would honor their own advertised promotion since there were major technical errors on their site and app. When Monday came around (since being a French company their customer service does not work over the weekend), I called them first thing and explained the situation. I even took a screenshot of the promotion and the time on my computer to prove it was viable and my purchase took place in that timeframe. They said they would "look into it". Shortly thereafter, with barely any time to have "looked into it" they sent me an email back that there was "nothing they could do about it" and offered me 10% off my next purchase. What if there is no next purchase or that purchase is for $10? That in no way compensates! I contacted them again and got the same, rote response. The said "we don't offer price adjustments on 2nd hand goods". That's all you sell! I was livid. I know that they do offer price adjustments when their quality control arbitrarily decides that the price should be reduced, so completely untrue! I then said that was not acceptable and asked them to escalate it or provide me with a refund. They refused to offer a refund and obviously did not escalate as they told me their code was working and offered me 10% off my next purchase. Their code was not working and they took no time to research any technical issues that may have occurred! I wrote them back again and they responded with "We will not reconsider your request." Of course I opened up a dispute with my credit card company. Avoid this company at all costs as if there is any issue you will not receive any support or service remotely close to what you will expect. They will never succeed in the US with this attitude!

My account was rated as an *expert seller* with over 30 positive sales that had been authenticated. On Monday August 1st I shipped out 17 orders along with 10 orders on Friday July 29th for a total of 27+ orders (a few more pending from previous days) - After I shipped I tried to check in my account to confirm everything was shipped okay and updating and my account had been banned. Customer Service said they'd get back to me in 2 hours, then 24 hours, then 48 hours - it's now been 4 days and no one will respond to me explaining why my account was closed or giving me the status of my 27+ items I have shipped out. I can no longer view the sales history to track what I have been paid for or not and basically this creates a situation where Vestiaire Collective is free to steal from me whatever they choose without payment - I neither have access to view which items are not "authenticated" that I should pay to have returned because I can not even view the order history or status of the orders. I will be posting similar reviews as this everywhere on the internet as well as filing charges with the police in Tourconig France if this issue is not resolved.
Tip for consumers:
Be careful as a seller, they create a scenario where you can lose literally thousands of euros, I have about 4k pending and can not even track the status of my sales I shipped or if any items need to be returned to me, I can not see that either. they have effectively blocked me from getting paid on 27+ orders as well as returning any items that may potentially not be accepted.

For years I'm selling on eBay. Sold over 5000 items with 100% positive feedbacks. Found Vestiare Collective online, and decided to give it a shot. In two months sold 9 pairs of sunglasses without problem, but 10th sale appeared as nightmare. The buyer bought sunglasses and decided to return them because they were too small on her face. And she stated, that they are not as described. At least such explanation after several hours on the chat with representative, because representative all the time responded in two-three hours every time, was given me. I was sure that it's not true. In the listing I provided original photos of sunglasses and detailed description with all sizes. I asked to check it. But when Vestiare received sunglasses back from the buyer, they changed the reason of return. Sunglasses become non-authentic. These sunglasses were bought from Nordstrom and I provided Vestiare with copy of receipt. They also have unique serial number on one of arms. It's easy to check it, by calling to Fendi representative in the US and providing him with this serial number. They just had to contact Fendi at *******646 or *******888 and follow the prompts to speak with a representative. Inform the representative of your intent to check a Fendi serial number for authenticity. But they did not do it. I received back sunglasses with Vestiare label with Rejected stamp without name of inspector and date. Just yellow paper with something written unintelligibly. Here are attached photos. What a joke!
One more thing… In order to get sunglasses back, Vestiare instructed me to pay for the shipping 16 euros and provided me with list of banks in France, UK, Hong Kong, Japan, etc., but not PayPal, though which I received money for my previous sales. I'm US seller and sold item to US buyer, in US $, but had to pay for the shipping back in Euros, UK pounds, etc. I was forced to pay for international bank wire transfer extra money. That's ridiculous…
So, I'm done with Vestiare Collective. Just canceled my account today.
