So far, my shopping experience has been very good. The delivery times are a bit long, but it's understandable since the items come from another country or continent. A very good app for buying clothes.
My experience with your company has been nothing short of a nightmare. You dragged out my sale for over four months, and when I finally got my purse back, it was in terrible condition due to your carelessness. To make matters worse, after all that time, you had the nerve to call it a sale and insulted me with a mere $25 payout. I've never been treated so poorly by any company before. I bought a hat through Vestiaire Collective. It should delivery more than one week ago, but somehow the web loose the track information of the parcel and I have not received until now. I talked with Vestiaire Collective online chat. They keep asking to provide information, but when I talked about the problem, their agents just close the conversation, which really annoying. Then I upload my information and problem and send them e-mail. They said they will reply within 48 hours, or 24 hours (differen e-mails say differently), but no one reply me to come a solusion as they promised.
Vestiaire Collective prodvide the worst costomer service that I have ever experienced. I really feel very angry about their no response and their attitudes are very rude. Their service wastes a lot of time without coming a solution for such a long time.
It is really super bad online shopping experience. I will never ever shop through Vestiaire Collective. They charge such a high premuium and would not like do anything for customers. I really undersatnd. I hope any others who are shopping with them should consider such problems and risks with them in advance.

Dodgy payments with an elite "higher department" that is inaccessible.
I am very disappointed with this company as the whole customer experience as a seller has been nothing but stressful and time-consuming. Chatting with the customer chat only yield the template answer "The problem has been escalated to a higher department and will take 3 days to get a response" And of course, the 3 days never eventuates. Some chat operators hang up on you before there is a resolution, some are polite but can't help other than hoping the chat wins the lottery and obtains an answer from the relevant department. I have sold 5 item and all 5 shipments had its woes. Shipping out of Austalia requires a sales invoice, Vestaire does not provide that with the shipping label, you have to get on to the chat, request form the operator and hope the support team gets back to you within the shipping window of 5 days that I can now quote, as verified by chat logs from Vestaire staff, that it doesn't exist hence ship whenever or however with no urgency... Poor buyer waiting endlessly.
After that inconvenience, there is the most important PAYMENT. I have not been paid for 1 of my shipments from 22/10/19 and its 2/11/19 today. Daily attempts to hop on the chat line yields no result other than the please wait 3 days for a reply. I was given information that is already displayed on the app such as "payment completed on 22/10" but the money never came through. Verification from my bank was given that there was no such transfer to me as well. I'm also still waiting for another payment from 8/10/19 that Vestaire said got bounced back as the address was insufficient. That being said, I updated all my details again and on 22/10, still, I did not get my money for separate transactions and only got template answers. My regret is I have now 2 items due for payment on 5/11/19,1 outstanding payment from 22/10/19 and I am beginning to lose hope that I will never get my money and sadly, my sold items are already sent out to the new owners.
So my advice is to look for another site to sell your goods. It too much of a hassle for non-professional sellers and way too time-consuming to deal with the horrendous "higher departments".

The product does not match the product description, and I did not receive a refund, even after providing evidence. I am a new customer of Vestiaire, but after this experience, it will also be the last time.
A few weeks ago, I ordered a pair of Balenciagas. In the photos, the shoes appeared to be black, as stated in the product description under the color category and the free-text field (I still have the photos saved). However, upon receiving them, they turned out to be blue.
It's incredibly disappointing and sloppy, especially because I paid for the authentication option, and yet this mistake still went through. But hey, everyone can make a mistake, so I decided to connect with customer service politely.
After some back-and-forth chatting, the customer service representative indicated that I would get a refund if I returned them and they agreed that I was right. Otherwise, the item would be relisted. According to the representative, this should work out fine because I had sent a significant number of photos of the product next to black and blue items. So, I didn't have to worry.
Fast forward a week after the product was checked. I was informed that the refund was denied, and the product was relisted! And you won't believe it, but they listed it as Navy/blue and removed black from the description! Of course, I have the before and after of the descriptions, so I know exactly what they did. They essentially agree with me but won't admit it.
Naturally, I contacted customer service, but I received a few messages stating that the product matched the description (even though they did modify it with the listing?!). I am politely asked to wait until the shoe is sold before I get my money back, despite doing everything to prevent this (purchasing the authentication option and providing ample evidence). I disagreed with this, as I would be losing money due to their mistake if it gets sold, and I have to wait for it to be sold in the first place. After sending a few more messages, I received no further response.
I can hardly believe it. If they had just admitted their mistake and refunded the money, I would have remained a loyal customer. I was already looking around again. But after this experience, I've learned that the authentication is not what I expected, and they would rather lose a customer than retain one.

I bought a bottega veneta bag. Once I had purchased the bag my friend informed me that the rings on the handles looked different. Upon closer inspection I saw that they were metallic, while the real one has leather wrapped around the rings. Either a fake - or it has been altered with (which wasn't mentioned in the description). If you wonder why I didn't notice it in the pictures, it was as easily missed as the VC's own team missed it since the listing is pre-checked by themselves as well before the listing goes live.
I directly contact VC's customer service on 3 occasions prior to the authentication & quality assessment stage to make sure they know about this, where all agents inform me that they have 1) noted the issue 2) inform they can't do anything until it is checked by the team 3) if the item has defects and doesn't perfectly match the description I will be informed.
To my suprise, I got an email today saying the item is compliant and has been shipped without any notice of the defects.
I reach out to the customer service again and as I have gotten used to by now with VC's customer service, no one can really help me and all I'm offered is that I have to wait for another email from the "expert team".
The bag is on its way to me even though it is defect that I have been trying to flag on 3 occasions prior to the quality control. Frustrating indeed. It seems like VC's customer service basically have zero power that acts as a barrier to the "expert" teams that you are not able to contact. Once issues arise the customer service tells you that they will contact these "experts teams" and that you'll be notified via email. While in reality nothing is really done. While I can expect this kind of treatment from low-cost airlines, I don't think it's fair for a premium resale site.

On 28 December I sold one Chanel Walet reference ******* different shipping to one buyer from France. Since I confirmed the shipping on the next day on the morning the buyer talked my picture and posted the wallet on hers name but hugely expensive, Vestiare alow her to stole my picture and to post one item she didn't arrive,. Buyer received the wallet on 2 January 2024 since then she tried to sell the wallet even to me sending offers,,,, I contacted Vestiare and I complained since the person has posted my item with my picture on 31 on the day the packaging was on transit, since I reported to Vestiare I received one email like the buyer said my Chanel Walet is fake and she will send to Vestiare collective for second authentication check, since then I don't know what happened with my wallet, Vestiare blocked me and nobody has contacted me to inform what happened except the formal email I will don't forget you will work on your case, please help I added pictures of my item al also pictures show the buyer tried to sell my item before then she received with the permission of ves

I AM NOT ONE FOR LEAVING REVIEWS, HOWEVER I FEEL I NEED TO DO SO TO WARN OTHERS WHO BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE.
I purchased a chain chanel belt, the description says silver however when I received it, the belt was 1/2 silver and 1/2 gold so I returned it and they turn around and sent it back saying it was as described, mind you I did receive a follow up email stating " as the belt does look 2 tone the gold part looks more silver " therefore it is as described> I had to go put a claim with paypal as that was my funding source, they told me to send it back to them in Paris which I had to pay over $40 to ship it back. So my warning to ALL is to make sure you look at the photos as well as the description and ask many questions as once you get it you are STUCK with it unless u use a good funding source that will fight for you
I also want to mention this belt was ALTERED the seller used part of another belt that had the authenticity engraving and attached it to the belt, I also used mypoupette for authenticity and it turned out to be FAKE. I will mention one of the emails from this company said the belt was authentic and it is NOT

I strongly urge anyone using this site to reconsider. Their quality control is severely lacking and their customer service is offensive. Firstly, sellers are not adequately vetted so information about the products may be misleading, if not completely false, and the quality control does nothing to prevent the buyer falling victim to such false advertising. Should you be displeased with your order for any number of reasons likely to occur, you may not return your order in the case of an individual seller EVEN IF THE REASON IS THE FAULT OF THE SELLER AND/OR VESTIAIRE. In my case, the sizing of the item I ordered were misrepresented and the quality control did not pick it up. When I contacted customer service with my complaint which included pictures and supporting information from the brand the shoes were from, they completely disregarded my dissatisfaction and refused to offer me any kind of return or refund. Instead, they suggested I relist the item on their site, for which you still have to pay for "shipping and handling", so the most I can hope to redeem is less that 75% of what I paid! Please reconsider using this site - it is an uphill battle complete with poor customer service. Should you wish to buy designer clothes second hand, I can recommend REBELLE - I had one experience with far superior customer service.

I wish I read trustpliot before I placed the order. I placed it 3 weeks ago and till now my order has not yet been shipped. I have bought various items from VC in the past. I was satisfied because the sellers' items reflected the description of the item itself. But this week I purchased a pair of YSL glitter boots that were described as 'Very Good Condition' from a seller from Italy named Simone. The pictures were a tiny bit blury, but he took photos from many different angles and they looked great. They arrived promptly and looked perfect from 1 metre away, but upon inspection I found that the glitter and the velvet detail was peeling off in various places of both shoes! He had also neglected to remove his used dirty sock from the shoe, yuck! What a surprise. The seller Simone had documented none of these defects of peeling glitter in his pictures. He took the pictures from different angles but not capture ANY flaws. He did not even let me know about these defects when I messaged him to express my interest in buying them, inquiring about the size. When I messaged him explaining I was dissatisfied that the shoes had come with peeling in some places and complained that he shoed have warned the buyer about the defects, he denied this, saying the shoes were "in excellent condition" when he inspected them before sending them! Now, according to VC's terms of description, Excellent condition means they were never worn, so clearly this seller was lying through his teeth. Give me a break - he even left his girlfriend's sock in there! He must have eyes in the back of his head. All I asked him is that he inspect things carefully and list them accordingly. He kept arguing with me instead of offering me a refund :(. Sorry, but no Vestiaire! With no clear policy on how I can get my money back, I will not be choosing to do business with them again. :( These boots were not worth the money I spent on them and I deserve a partial refund.

I tried to buy a bikini through Vestiaire. When the bikini went through their quality control, they cancelled my order without asking me. The reasoning being that the bikini had some discoloration in the crotch area. I saw the attached picture and didn't see anything. I was so mad that I didn't get the chance to say whether or not I still wanted it. I'm the customer so I should have the final say. The customer service representative said if the seller said there was a stain in the product description then it would have been fine and passed the quality check. This was so stupid to me. If I get told by vestiaire that there is a stain, I don't even get the choice to buy it, but if the seller says there's a stain in the first place then it's totally fine? They just want to scam you for shipping costs and quality control checks by making you rebuy the product. I paid about 35$ in shipping and quality control check fees which was not refunded to me and now if I want to buy the bikini I have to get the seller to update the description and pay ANOTHER 35$ for nothing. When I asked the representative if I could get a voucher to cover the shipping and quality control check when I rebuy the bikini they did not care at all and my customer service representative left the chat. Even when I emailed the company, they offered no help and only typed out a one sentence response to my super long email along with the infuriating phrase "thank you for understanding". I will never do business with them again and if I find something I like on there I'll message the seller to sell on eBay. This company doesn't care about you and they will blow you off when you need help.

I am new for this app and I submitted couple questions about the product from the seller.
I chat with representative and ask him to explain me what I did wrong. His exploration was it is temporary. However the representative told me that I did not do anything right and there is no red flags and he did not see the problem with me doing something wrong. I was very disappointed. I am disabled and former Federal employee. I just asking people to send more detailed information about the product. No cursing, did not use the unprofessional language and ext.
