My experience with your company has been nothing short of a nightmare. You dragged out my sale for over four months, and when I finally got my purse back, it was in terrible condition due to your carelessness. To make matters worse, after all that time, you had the nerve to call it a sale and insulted me with a mere $25 payout. I've never been treated so poorly by any company before. Your customer service was not just unhelpful—it was downright dismissive and incompetent at every step. This has been an absolute disaster from start to finish. Before and after pictures

I first joined VC as I thought that so many people use it so it would be a nice experience! Quickly, and when I say quickly I mean after 3-4 days, and after my first 2 items where sold, the buyers reached out with questions about about my used bags ( how can they clean the handles, and if there is the strap available), and we engaged in a fun convo and how lovely that my bags aRe going in a different countries etch! I was banned from the chat probably for being too polite. Guys you need to chill, the reviews u ve got speak for themselves! Never tried to sell my wardrobe and before yoy BAN a member that brings you So much money, make sure you monitor better the conversations and NOT be letting your inadequate System ban people for being polite and introducing themselves. Who would trust their items to complete strangers and risk payment?! Jesus! This isn't jail! Unlisting all my items.

I have literally spent over 1k in a month and my partner spent more.
To repay our business they have treated me nothing short of disgusting!
I sold a pair of Christian Louboutin heels on there, sent off for quality control as per the process- for a reason not explained to me other than they simply did not pass quality control they then sent what could only be explained as a hoax email telling me I had to pay them some ridiculous amount into a Susa looking account or else they will keep my shoes until I do.
I've tried several times requesting an official email & an address so I can arrange freight back to myself with no response!
This is theft of my property- I have now consulted the ACCC & Consumer Affairs- They are bullies & thieves!

I thought Tradesy was bad & hoped for a better selling experience when it was acquired by VC. So much bad I can not articulate it enough! For starters, their chat is 100% useless. Don't look on getting anything resolved there. Next, they reject legitimate listings for no good reason & are inconsistent. Some days they allow modeled photos, somedays they don't. Often they give you a canned response that is not applicable. And to make it worse, once rejected, you can't edit any listings! Not rejected or live listings! As a seller, I have little control over my photos & listings! It's insane! And they have this bs policy that a buyer can make an offer and not pay! I accepted offers only to be alerted that the buyer has 24 hours to pay, what? And guess what? None of them paid! No other marketplace does this! Offers should be binding! What a complete waste of my time.

I decided to spruce my existing winter bag up, found a beautiful Prada black leather charm with stones and crystals. It just came today, and I'm thrilled with the look. Meanwhile, I took my bag to my local cobbler, he replaced some stitching on the bags corner, and polished it.!

A few days after I received the $200.00 Prada sunglasses the lenses on both sides started cracking. But because it passed the 72 hour mark they can't do anything abt it. I even sent them a picture but still they didn't do anything abt it. Very very disappointed in the company. Don't by anything through them. It also took forever to get to me.

I listed a 1960's Hermès hat and it was returned without a reason, damaged. I sent pictures and no reply to my emails. There is no phone number to call. This hat "was" rare and pricey, now I can not sell it.

Don't trust them. This platform only allows scammers to operate freely. Then when you complaint about the item the only option you have is to relist the item with the same description and become a scammer yourself!

I don't even want to give 1 star to vestiaire collective. They are having bad customer service. No solution for customer when they have an issue with the money in the app. I felt like hell to deal with them. Taking forever to get their response. Please don't buy or sell anything in vestiaire collective ever.

Anyone who decided to purchase something from VC I hope you see this and reconsider whether to buy it or not. I bought a Dior bag on VC on early of May and received a pair of worn Mike shoes on end of May. Guess what, until today is already July I am still waiting for their solution/refund :(

I was a loyal customer of VC for 2 years, purchasing and selling expensive items until November 2023. I ordered a pair of expensive Chanel trainers on the 8th of November and paid to be inspected by VC in Paris, paid insurance on the package. So a week later I received a notification that the trainers are complaint and VC are sending the package to me. A week later I received from a local courier the package, the guy gives me the package and leaves. I open the package and there is an EMPTY shoe box of Churches shoes stuffed with paper. The cardboard box was not touched. So I immediately open Vestiaire, they have no telephone number, so I write in their support chat immediately. They answer that I should not worry and that I have to send pictures of my ID, of the package and a written statement. So I do that immediately. And they replied that they will get back to me in 48 hours they do not get back to me. I write again and they reply the same thing for more than 2 weeks. Then I receive an answer that they will not reimburse me and that they don't know where the trainers are, and that I should have filed a complaint on the same day with the courier. Why did you not tell me that VC? VC ROBBED ME. They did not reimburse did not send me trainers. This is a fraudulent platform that should not be used. They have mainly chat bots support and should be avoided. Needless to say, I am no longer their customer neither are my friends and family. VC robbed me, do not shop there.

This company is the worst ever. I put up a louis vuitton neverfull that had replaced side cinches, and noted with pictures of this alteration. They asked me to discount it so i did, it sold. They then had the nerve to fail it and ask the buyer if they wanted it and the repairs were done (as stated in the description). In that they convinced the buyer to cancel the sale. Then this was wrong and drew attention to something well noted making it seem something extra was wrong. They send the bag back to me but three weeks later i'm still waiting. This shows delivered but has someone else's signature attached. I was home all day it was supposed to have been delivered. They respond to my chat message every 4 or 5 days with no offer to assist at all. Stay away from this tragic excuse for a business.

Okay had it totally had it with this company. I am horrified by the shoes I have been sent, they are totally seller orientated as all they want is money. They try fool you by saying they authenicate item, but HONESTLY THEY DON'T. The person who did theses shoes has clearly never seen a pair of chanel shoes before. They give no explanation of the process and have committed fraud.

I have attached photos that show smude large font on the 'made in italy' part that would NEVER! Be on a real pair. On one pair the 'made' can not be read as the front is to large and smudged. In person the shoes are plastic and cheap looking. Nothing like the real deal.

V. C. does not appreciate the effort & time of its members.
No matter how you try to get in touch with them, they keep ignoring any email. Help Center & the provided form is just to keep the members busy. I do warn the others, caus' once you sell or buy sth. Expensive & you really need help: forget it.

Bought the item on 1 July and the item still has not been delivered and today is 19August. Followed up with the team and every time replied they are sorry and already trying their to investigate. Never update me the status.I said i don't need the item and request a refund. They just keep saying sorry and investigate is in process, but just cannot refund. That is totally unfair to a buyer.

I ordered a bag that came with 2 straps and it arrived with only 1. The bag was listed as being in excellent condition and arrived looking like someone had taken a butter knife to the front of the bag. I ordered a bag in the medium size and when it arrived it was quite clearly the small size. They should really have easier access the customer service and make their website easier to navigate to help resources.

Sold two authentic Louis Vuitton card wallets in original boxes and Vestiaire refused them with no explanation. In order for them to ship the items back to me I had to pay a $45 transfer fee to send Vestiaire $12 for each boxed wallet, $24 total, to Vestiaire. What a headache.

This company is bad. I bought a very expensive bag in 'Very Good Condition' but when it arrived, it was clearly damaged and in a poor condition. I did get a refund in the end but they would not listen to complaints and the complaints procedure is awful. They refused to speak to me on the phone and didn't answer emails, I had to be very persistent.
Vestiaire Collective then re-listed the same bag for a higher price than I had originally paid. I tried to leave comments about this on the re-listed page but Vestiarie keeps deleting my posts. Don't trust them.

Just check the rock wings bag from the brand Zadig and Voltaire and now google the real brand logo. It's a joke!

I was going to buy a Prada bag for 700 eur but then I thought I can't trust them so easily so I got a belt for about 50 to check their services first. Took forever to come and very visible scratch marks, unlike its advertisement. And worst is no refund policy.
Don't buy from there. Rather go to vintage stores physically!

You buy something on eBay and it's really a binding contract on both sides. Unfortunately it's not the same on vestiaire collective! I put in an offer on one item and it was accepted I paid for it and then was told it was no longer available. I put in an offer on another and the item was just taken off line and no longer available. I have now paid for another item already waited 2 and a half weeks and been told I can't cancel it!
It's a shame because I've seen some really good things on there but I don't like paying for something upfront and not receiving it which has basically happened three times now! Seriously don't bother nothing on there is actually available

There was a technical issue with their system that both, I the buyer, and the seller tried tirelessly to solve. I had no reply to my emails, except a message sent to me in error addressed to the buyer saying I had been uncooperative and the transaction had to be cancelled. I complained and still no reply... That's not support that's incompetence... very disappointed

Beware of this online luxury products website. It is not subject to the laws of the U.S.A. And therefore you are not protected by the Better Business Bureau. I purchased a handbag on the site and when it arrived, the color was not as the photo had showed. I attempted to return the handbag and they refused to accept it back. Even after sending them photos of the actual color of the bag, they simply refused.

I've used Vestiaire two times since signing up in 2015 and on both occasions I didn't end up receiving the items I purchased. On the first occasion in 2016 the buyer never shipped the item and after two months of waiting I finally received a refund minus the shipping costs from Vestiaire. On the second occasion in 2018 the item got lost in the mail. So far I've been waiting a month for the parcel to arrive and an investigation is currently pending to locate the parcel which could take 30 days. In the event that my parcel is never found I expect to be refunded by Vestiaire so we will see what happens with that. Regardless of the outcome, I am going to be very cautious about using this company in the future because ultimately it just seems to be such a huge hassle. Why bother paying for something feeling excited to receive it and then waiting waiting waiting until it never arrives...
