So far, my shopping experience has been very good. The delivery times are a bit long, but it's understandable since the items come from another country or continent. A very good app for buying clothes.
My experience with your company has been nothing short of a nightmare. You dragged out my sale for over four months, and when I finally got my purse back, it was in terrible condition due to your carelessness. To make matters worse, after all that time, you had the nerve to call it a sale and insulted me with a mere $25 payout. I've never been treated so poorly by any company before. Everytime I purchase an item from Vestiaire I quickly remember why it's terrible. First of all there is a 9 day waiting period and during that 9 days it's not clear if the item is even available. Why isn't there a 3 day period that the seller has to approve the order to the buyer so you're not wondering for 9 days if the purchase is even going to happen. It has an option to contact the seller and if they do not respond, one still has to wait until the 9 days is complete. I just purchased a bag for work that I desperately needed from Vestiaire and it is cancelled because it wasn't shipped within the 9 day period. Now I have to find another one. I do know that I will not engage in another 9 day waiting game. DO BETTER

I ordered a dress and received a email to tell me that the dress was wrong size and had big stains. It said that I could log in to my account and confirm or cancel my order. When i tried to cancel the order, my finger accidentaly pressed the confirm button which is right above it. The two buttons are very close together. And there is no " proceed further?" Kind of next page that most website has. I immediately emailed them and called them. However, they refuse to " undo" and said that i must accept the order.
This is a very tricky website and company. I have closed my account after this first transaction ( experience) with them. Please be very careful if you use this company.

Don't buy from this company. I am still waiting for a refund on a purchase I returned as it was not what was advertised. I paid for the shipping to me and paid the shipping to return the item. Was reassured a Refund would be processed on receipt of return I have proof of delivery and acceptance from Fedex. Still waiting for my refund and they are not responding to my messages. Fast to take your money and don't refund for returns. This is very bad business practice. Spend your money at more reputable website as the customer service is deplorable and they do not respond to emails, and they do not refund.

I shipped my dress to a buyer. Buyer received the dress and after a month Vestiaire ddnt pay me. I contacted more than 5 times to get my payment. All of customer service representatives have different answer and would promise that they will resolve and call. But I never got a call. Only when I contacted the 5th or 6th time. Never doing business again with this platform. Extremely dissatisfied

I should have read reviews before making a purchase, though since I had a site credit from Tradesy that was transferred to Vestiaire, I didn't have much of a choice. It took forever for the item that I purchased to arrive and when I tried to resolve the issue with Vestiaire, they were extremely unhelpful and condescending. Then, after charging for authentication, I received a counterfeit item. Again, customer service has been unhelpful and condescending. Unfortunately, I still have a site credit since they do not allow the site credit to be applied towards the authentication fee. I requested a refund for the site credit and unsurprisingly, they are refusing. The company is a scam. Customer service is only provided via a chat platform. No number to call and no option of speaking directly with someone. The company should be shut down!

I bought Christian Louboutin Asteroid spikes. Before receiving I contacted customer service & told them I do not think the item is real & to cancel (seller changed bottom to black). They told me they haven't rec'd item yet & I should wait before cancel. I said ok. I told them not to ship item to still cancel. She said ok. The next morning I woke to an email that item went through quality control and is shipped! I called and she said quality control said shoes are authentic and if I'm still not happy to return them. The item arrived and I was still skeptical. I called and they told me it's now between me and the seller! I was devastated! I kept the shoe because seller was not responding to me. I wore the shoe once to an event and the front (with spikes) FELL OFF! It was so embarrassing! I thought I found a genuine online shop to trust but these guys are all about their money and terrible customer service! Trust is out the window!

Loads of products listed at great prices. They charge authentication fees that are at low prices and although shipping could be a bit high, the prices of the items are listed low so you still end up with a bargain.

I sold my Cartier tank watch last week accepting an offer of HK$8100 but they changed and show my accepting price to HK$7055 and sent me back only $5996. 75. I demanded to have my watch back but they refused and sent me their 19 pages of terms and agreements.
They also set a ridiculous exchange rate and when a buyer sent me an offer of USD 1100, it only came out to me as HKD 7055 ( USD 1 = HKD 7.75 - 7.8) and they did not allow you to send pictures through their app messages nor let you change your items pictures nor description nor price.
Their staff refused to let me know their full name and office location when I said I wanted to file my complaint to the authorities.

My experience was pleasant :) The seller shipped my item to an authentication center, then it was sent to me in the US. Shipping was fast, considering it was an international shipment! And thankfully, my item seems as legit as it could be. Would buy from again if the seller is reputable :)

I have done three transactions that were fine. I have had three bad experiences and will now stop my membership. A jacket that was listed as a large in the search engine and listed as a French size 40, turned out to be a small Italian 40. It was listed incorrectly, but VC offered no assistance. A pair of shoes that the seller never shipped, and then later to find out she had similar complaints on her other past sold items that were never sent to buyers. Why is she allowed to continue and sell? Too much hassle, and my payment to qualify for three shippings is wasted, but I was charged for another three shippings. I see why eBay allows you to rate sellers and buyers.

I am appalled by the service I have received. I purchased a so-called silver Tiffany & Co silver bracelet that passed the authentication process. In fact, the bracelet was not made by Tiffany and instead of being silver, is copper. When I returned the bracelet, Vestiaire Collective admitted that the item was not authentic but refuses to refund me for the authentication process, the taxes and the shipping, saying that the authentication process occurred and that it was my decision to make the purchase and I cannot therefore be reimbursed. Clearly, I would not have made the purchase in the first place if the bracelet had not passed their authentication process.
It is shocking that it is impossible to get through to anybody and that I will lose about 130 euros for a bracelet that was fraudulently sold to me.
Tip for consumers:

Recently I tried to buy an item and the seller did not respond/send the item. VC kept me informed, tried to contact the seller and when the item was not shipped by the seller, VC quickly refunded my money and provided me with a small credit towards my next purchase.

I ordered 3 products on Vestiaire.
The first 2 products were fake products. After ordering them for about $2000 each, they were never delivered, seller was unresponsive, and eventually I got a refund for 90% of the amount I paid. So each purchase cost me $200, for nothing. And they are still listed on the site for sale! So basically, they list fake products and make $200 for each sale of fake products.
The 3rd product I ordered is still waiting for delivery. And I realized they charge $800 for customs duty. When I queried them on this, because customs duty should only be $100, they said it was non-negotiable. So basically, whatever price you see the item for sale on the website, they add an additional 30% markup when you try to buy it, and make it a "customs fee". I am now trying to cancel the 3rd product, but to no reply.
No, this website is clearly a scam. Be very careful using it.

Be careful of their fake 30% "customs fee" and also a lot fake products on the website that they will only partially refund.

So the seller followed me after I liked the item she was selling. I then offered her an amount below her listed price but she declined it within 5 mins. So I bought it at the listed price. I paid, got charged the amount, and then I messaged her to ask questions about delivery (as I need it in a week or so as I'm going overseas) and she just "seen" my message and didn't reply. Ended up messaging her several times to no response. Contacted the Vestiaire chat and also no reply from them. Been 24 hours since I bought the bag and seller still hasn't responded. I've asked them to cancel my purchase since both sides are unresponsive. Not sure what will happen now. Should've just bought from my local preloved boutique or Rebag/Ebay.

Vestiaire Collective is a great place to buy/sell 2nd hand designer items. You're able to negotiate the price with the seller, which is great. However, you always end up paying much more than shown especially if shipping is from a different country, due to expensive shipping rates and import taxes.

I had a $800 credit from Tradesy, which was transferred to Vestiaire Collective, since they bought out Tradesy. I found a LV bag and purchased it using my Tradesy credit plus additional $$$ needed and paid via Apple Pay. The next day I got a text telling me to pay for my VC item that I have a receipt and order number for the LV bag that I already paid for. I tried chat, email, phone. All to no avail. Still no word from VC. Now what to do? No phone number works for VC. No chat works. I was ripped off for $47 by Answer Expert trying to get a working phone number for VC. I'd never do this again with VC. Don't buy here!

Don't ever use this company. No way to contact the real people that work there.

I tried to sell an item (jewellery)that had an authentication certificate and they claimed they couldn't sell it because it didn't meet their 'guidelines' for Authenticity? I had also attached lots of clear photos.
I did purchase a bag which is nice and is legit. Their return policy is fair. I bought some shoes that didn't fit and was able to return them for a refund.

I have been appalled as a new customer and feel I should warn others off. I purchased an item of clothing by the designer Isabel Marant. When it was delivered I discovered it was a size smaller to the one listed on the website. I complained to VC's customer service team and all they offered was the opportunity to re-sell it on their website. Let me say that if any other commercial outfit did something like this, they'd deserve to go out of businness. I am completely at a loss to explain how VC manage to to keep any of their customers.
