You dragged out my sale for over four months, and when I finally got my purse back, it was in terrible condition due to your carelessness. To make matters worse, after all that time, you had the nerve to call it a sale and insulted me with a mere $25 payout. I've never been treated so poorly by any company before. Vestiaire Collective has no customer service! Their phone number doesn't work, they almost never respond to emails and when they do, they send a generic response that has nothing to do with an issue. How can you run a business without having a customer service?

Hello all,
I have received the Allegri coat from your Italian seller, Emilia. There is however only one under coat. Emilia describes the coat as a raincoat (rather worn) with a wool layer underneath which is in good condition. I have the under coat but can't zip it up as the outer coat is missing. I must say I'm a bit disappointed as I live in the Netherlands (cold weather) and need this outer coat even though it is a bit shabby!

I ordered a dress a while back. It was marked as XS but on the picture the size was 42. I informed the company directly ( the dress was not original Prada or it has been altered).
No response from VC. Seems like for profit only organisation with no customer service

I think the staff who work in the quality control section need to have their eye sight examined. Courreges bag ( very good condition) frayed inside. Tried to sell a Brioni silk scarf ( Gustaf Klimt geometric collection used twice) Refused as is 'doesn't fit into their requirements'; however, selling me a 'gray scarf' that is actually pale brown and smells was. Never again.

No wonder fashion as in industry has imploded in its own face and here we have the vestiges, the parasites of that ludicrous world exposed in their post-boom time ripping off customers, operating under glossy facades (as it always has) - and being the greediest corporate thief-style operati that are yet to be closed down.
They haven't worked out that taking designer (any) goods that don't belong to you, taking funds from buyers who believe they have purchased them - and reneging on commitments to both sides - is STEALING in most peoples' books. When investors sit on our funds/capital for a period of time - they share out the profits.
Please investigate Kerling and their assets. Or better still shut them down altogether.
Stick to the humble, non greedy, honest co's like Vinted & Depop; at least they do what they promise to do.

I have purchased handbag at VerstiaireCollective in "Very Good Condition" which according to the website should arrive without damaged corners or oxidised materials, hardly used and in a very good condition. Instead it arrived with all above mentioned flaws.
Having contacted Verstiaire on several occasions (and with pictures attached) they eventually agreed for me to send it back to another quality control (as clearly 1st time they have not done any).
To my surprise it was sent back to me next day with no explanation and when I tried to contact them again I were advised to write to their legal department. When I further questioned customer service they just ignored my emails.
I would be very careful as information they are providing about the condiiton of the items is incorrect and quality control is non existent.

Vestiaire might as well use an AI system only for their chat service, because its CS staff just don't listen, almost gives you the impression that the company never provides a proper staff training or a manual for the consultation. For ex., the person just provided zero response other than asking for your personal info then simply disappeared from the chat, ignoring your msg. So if you happen to get a great item by luck and w/o experiencing gliches in its sytem, congrats. Otherwise it will be one of the most stressful, time consuming experience ever-and your issue will never be resolved. To recap, this company shows a typical example of a global company that cares more about business expansion than value and trust.
Tip for consumers:
Do not entirely rely on its quality control service (which you still have to pay for).
Do not expect anything from its chat service. It will only be a waste of your time.

I ordered twice now using this site, 1 got canceled because the item was now unavailable. Then what's the point of the listing still up. If you use their promo code on a cancelled item, you can't use the code again and have to go circles on chat to give you a new code that expires in 6 months. 2nd order got canceled due to "unexpected system glitch".
REVISED: Sellers should check their inventory once in a while. Made another purchase, this time went smoothly. Revised my rating to 2, because of the high fees which is 15% for international purchases, mandatory authentication, and extremely high cuties and customs fees because they use slimy UPS. PROS: you can split payment using Splitit (for Canada), which is the only non-garbage thing about buying here

Although I am a big fan of high-end fashion, I try not to shop with Vestiaire because of the additional fees. The fees significantly increase the cost of an item that should already be authenticated. Isn't that the reason for shopping on this type of site? I have had great success on other sites so I rarely purchase anything on Vestiaire because I know I am going to have to pay so much more than what should be necessary if this is indeed a legitimate high-end designer distributer. If you must charge a fee, make the sellers pay not the buyers.

What happens if the item purchased is not authentic? Why is Vestiaire selling items that are not authentic? Seems to me this should be done before they are listed for sale.

I purchased a pair of Gucci shorts sold as in very good condition. See attached criteria:
Lightly used but very well maintained. No holes, pillings, discoloration, or odor
Slight wear from being used or well-done alterations which are mentioned in the description and/or visible in the photo. No damage to the material, no odour, no missing pieces.
The shorts had a split hem and the stitching was broken, however I sent them back and was told I was being refunded by their representative after asking for a manager to assist. However every time I speak to them I get a new rep and go round in circles. I am out of poker over $390, as they charge over $100 extra to check the item and postage etc They have my shorts and wont refund me even though I was told they would nothing has happened. Ref *******.
You cant call them to discuss, just email or message a new person and start talking all over again! I am very fed up and I have a lot of items to sell, however may not use them now as they have really treated me the customer poorly and I makes no sense as they would have made a lot of sales if they handled this properly!

They sent me an item which was not the one described, and then after requesting devolution, they sent me it back.
If you buy here you have the risk to lose your money completely, so think twice before buy here.
I bought a L size and they sent me a XS.
You can see in the picture the item categorized as L, but they told me I should have seen the tshirt label because there was XS.
Update:
After first telling me that they accepted the return, and without alert me, they send it back to me, they made me pay, 17 to send them back for 2nd time the item, and this time they accepted the devolution, recognising the error from the quality check team, so it ended well, but the process was a pain in the $#*!

Vestiaire has the worst customer service. They have some type of AI chat that is worthless and they are nonresponsive. I sent them an email reference my credit from Tradesy. The email stated they will respond in 24 hours. Well its been more than a week and haven't heard from them yet. Also, they charge $8 for shipping. Why? I received a package in a used Amazon box. With no help from Vestiaire, I finally was able to use my credit. After I receive my product I am deleting my account and uninstalling the App. Shipping is way too expensive for the quality of the boxes the merchandise comes in. Totally disgusted with their service!
Tip for consumers:
Be willing to pay shipping on used Amazon boxes. For the item that was shipped the seller could havetaken it to the post office with two day service that would have been cheaper. Waited over a week for my merchandise!

Vestiare is full of fakes! Their "expert team" often misidentifies real as fake and fake as real! They then extra scam you and demand you pay 12eur for them to return your item! Once you provide and invoice- suddenly the item becomes real again! Complete joke! Customer service is never reachable, no email and no phone number! No one ever answers!
They have „verified" sellers that ship directly to you without any authentication and they still charge you their fee! Fraudsters and scammers! There are often fake tags attached to clearly fake products and yet they insist it "matches the description" and therefore must be "authentic"! Dont ever buy or sell with them!

I recently made a purchase on Vestiaire Collective for a Prada vintage backpack. However, upon receiving the item, I discovered that it was a counterfeit bag, as the details of the Prada logo differed from the authentic logo. I promptly returned the bag and requested a refund. To my surprise, after re-authenticating the bag, Vestiaire Collective claimed it was authentic and relisted it on their website. Consequently, I was forced to deal with other potential buyers online. Additionally, Vestiaire Collective will be taking commissions from the sale, resulting in a financial loss for me, even if the bag gets sold.

My experience with Vestaire went very smoothly. The seller answered questions in a timely manner. Once the item was purchased I was kept informed about the authentication process and receive my item in relatively short time. I'll definitely use the website in the future.

VC is only a vessel, sellers are not visible, accountable nor responsive, 80% non responsive to the order and VC has no power nor influence in maintaining good solid sellers. VC has a nice front but 80% of the time. The seller doesn't communication nor follow through with shipping out the item 80% of time. VC has a cool website presence but no reliable substains being any seller can post a listing but never followup. Therefore, it is a bleak front image and VC is only hosting the website not a true business model.
Tip for consumers:
Don't get your hopes up, it is a wait and if you are lucky you may get the idea but plan to not know for sure and plan for no way to get any customer support.

I sold a gucci bag with them, everything was fine until it got to the point of getting paid. ITS BEEN a MONTH and still have not gotten paid. Sold on Nov 6 and still nothing. The scary part is, someone changed the bank info on my APP to receive payment...i repeat SOMEONE changed the bank info receiving the payment, never seen those bank numbers in my life (i changed the information back to mine yesterday) Not sure if they have hackers or what is going on with this app but it was so slick. I saw a listing where the seller said the bag was in mint condition and only had one tiny scratch. The photos looked fine too so I bought it. When I received it I found numerous scratches on the bag which the photos did not show at all! I sent it back to VC to have a second check and they said the defects were actually identifiable in the seller's photos. Wow VC, just WOW. I would not have purchased the bag if the listing wasn't so misleading. And did you even read what the seller wrote on the listing? I think you just want to keep the money and refuse responsibility. Shame on you! I wish I had read the reviews here before naively trusting that you would do more for your customers and for your own reputation.

Ordered twice from VC. 1st one the seller took my money and cancelled within an hour of receiving my money without an explanation. 2nd order within an hour of receiving my money the buyer said the item wasn't in stock and to choose a similar item at an additional cost! STILL waiting for my full refund including the custom charges I've been charged in spite of the item not in stock and will not be delivered.

The sellers receive money immediately the customer is the one who suffers when and if something goes bad to chase down things. Payments should be in escrow until transactions are complete to protect all parties but VC has mentioned to me in a chat that they don't have any control over their sellers which is worrying.... I'd be better off ordering from eBay or at a flea market.

I am very disappointed. I sold few items on VC after I paid myself delivery / shipping for them because they don't colaborate with my country - Romania. I put a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes on their site and they asked me for the invoice. What? Who keeps the shoes invoices few years? Do they think I stole them? How many items on the site have invoices? I send a mail and I told them I don't keep the invoices and they responded me that my items don't fit their catalog. What? There are a lot of the same shoes on their site.
When you send them e mails they respond very brief and like they don't care. But they are making a lot of money selling our items. I had many items refused by them telling me that they don't fit their catalog. And then I saw the same items on their site, so they just refused me. So it is very complicated and I don't know how much it is worth it.

Thier answer was keep it even you are unhappy for 2,500 dollars us. Or sell it again with us. I choose to do that because I was so mad by their policy. The bag sold and lost 700 US dollars. What is the point of the business if they just validate false claims.
