So far, my shopping experience has been very good. The delivery times are a bit long, but it's understandable since the items come from another country or continent. A very good app for buying clothes.
My experience with your company has been nothing short of a nightmare. You dragged out my sale for over four months, and when I finally got my purse back, it was in terrible condition due to your carelessness. To make matters worse, after all that time, you had the nerve to call it a sale and insulted me with a mere $25 payout. I've never been treated so poorly by any company before. I started selling on vestiere earlier this year. I had already been selling on a couple other sites without any issues. What I like about this site is the fact that it seems you have unlimited photos that you can add to your listing. The worst thing is if you sell something somewhere else they don't have a search bar in order to remove an item. You must scroll through all your items in hopes to find what you need to remove. No categories for bags coats tops etc. The only separation is the men's and the women's and children's. It wasn't so bad when I only had a couple hundred things, doable. But since they took over Tradsey and thousands of my items transferred it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. I have emailed them about this no response. Also they're make an offer it's a joke. People will make offers and you accept and then they don't purchase it. I tried opting out and I'm still getting offers. Please add a search bar to seller's listings. You are also not able to edit your listings. You would have to remove them and start over.

Be AWARE Vestiaire Collective does NOT Accept Returns and holds your MONEY HOSTAGE for 30 days even if seller is not sending the product as they say on the website in 10 days. Dont get FOOLED. Even if you want to cancel a order that is not being sent by seller they dont allow you!

Here is true statement of my experience.
I only started selling recently, so far I sold 40 items of high quality designer pieces.
Customer expectation of prices is sometimes distorted. Dior items like dresses I sell £330-£650
Many customers want 30 % discount on average? Do they know many of this items retail price was over £1000+?
As per Vestiaire they are accurate, prompt in paying and they do respond to e-mails.
They Experts are truly experts, I know all my items are 100 % genuine, but if they do not get clear picture of the item from me, they wont let me upload it. That is fair. As they do not want "fake" items.
Size of the business is soo huge, you are going to wait 3-4 days for e-mail reply, but it will be sorted. That is reasonable to expect.
You just need to google reviews of Vestiaire competitors and you will see what is truly bad service.
While other companies are "willing to take your item, do all the work + sell your items for peanuts".
You wont be happy as seller.
Item needs to have fair, decent price. If designer- wear is too low it will devalue the brand.
For those who can not afford it, try M&S or similar. Don't expect it for practically nothing.
Sellers have to pay around 15% - £20 % out of sold goods to Vestiaire.
If goods do not comply with description, Vestiaire protects buyers.
It offers return and help to re-sell it on the platform if someone doesn't like the fit of the garment.
If item is not as described, buyer wont loose their money, Vestiaire steps in to help.

I used to be a fan of Vestiaire but first their app is terrible, if you do saved searches, it doesn't really update on the searches you get notifications for right away by the time you go click items are gone. It's constantly spamming you. If you sell they are constantly bothering you to lower your prices, their commission fees are high, on top of that you can correct your listings and it doesn't let you add more photos like it kinda picks what it wants, which if you are trying to sell / buy an item is better to have as many photos of it as possible with the item worn! I had an issue recently with buying a pair of shoes that when I got them they were not the size marked in the shoe, I contacted costumer service, which is the worst, every time you get a response from a different person who seems to not have an idea of what you are contacting them about, their only job is basically to tell you "our experts have refused your claim and request for a return" only to then offer you "re-list your item for sale on your account with small amount of selling fee" not even for free, you pay for this quality control and they can't bother to check something very important that the size is correct, also I've gotten items that were listed in "very good condition" to get them as not, with flaws that their controls didn't bother to report.
Tip for consumers:
First that even after sending them proof the size in item I got was not the one sold, they didn't care to offer me a return /refund, their offer was to resist it with a fee.

Appalling service
I have shopped on line for years and have never experienced such poor customer service, a total take it or leave it attitude. In answer to every question she replied I should have read the T&Cs more carefully.
I bought a pair of earrings which I believed were in France but turned out to be in the USA I now have a bill of £110 in import tax as I apparently neglected to tick a box which would have limited my liability to 15%
I cannot refuse to pay the tax as Vestaire will keep the payment and just resell them
I just wish I could leave minus stars

I bought a bag, despite it doesn't match the description, is a total fake, i am wondering how, like how in the wold this bag passed the "authentication process " when it has only red flags. I am so disappointed. I will send it back, the customer service till now they were ok. The. Bag will be checked one more time by them. I am so excited to see how it will work.
So as I was expecting they just sold me a fake bag and they don't admit it, i was going back an front with them by email and they could see the item is not matching the pictures still they kept saying "experts decision" and "sorry " and nothing they could do.
Don't ever use this platform for buying genuine. They put pictures with authentic item and sell fakes, no matching, just worst experience ever.
The bag is fake, the invoice is fake the dusbag is fake. I proofed it to them, it can be clearly seen and still they come with the "experts " line. Even my kid spotted the difference. Although they admitted that they can see the scratches (which in the website pictures are no where to be seen) they still relisted and no refund even though they saw the difference. And on their selling policy is saying that any flaws must be clearly described when listing the item.

Bought a defect item which was obviously not as described in the listing. Damaged with broken parts but Vestiaire insisted its as per description after 2nd inspection by their expert and refused refund. Asked for help again but got ignored and relisted the item on my account! I paid $254 and they relisted for me at $155 ( apparently after deducting the fees that I can't recover such as authentication fee, shipping fee and taxes) Imagine that!
VESTIAIRE basically supporting dishonest sellers by allowing them to sell junks with dishonest advertising on their website! These junks will float from one victim to another as they never get refunded. Forcing buyers to relist the items.
Everytime the item is resold they get a fee from "authenticating" the item! No buyer will ever want to keep this faulty item will continue relisting with the same advertisement passing from one poor victim to another and another...
You decide if you want to buy from them. I'm not even sure if I can have the faulty shoes sent back to me to stop this vicious cycle.

Prepare to buy bad quality items and paying lots of fees. Do not expect refunds and any help.

I decided to sell a designer bag and jacket on vestaire collective for the first time. The process takes ages but they accepted the items and reading through their info I noticed that their vip customers get first pick before releasing to the rest of the site.
The jacket was new stored in pristine condition beautifully styled and current so I was really surprised when vestaire didn't want to accept my already very low asking price and suggested their own price before they would list it. I thought it was odd as other jackets in the same brand but worn and slightly dated were selling for three to four times the price suggested to me but as a new seller I agreed.
Within 10 minutes of the listing going live I had a question asking me incredulously if the jacket was real leather so I added a picture of the content label went to grab a coffee then checked my email, the jacket had sold.
I was not happy somebody else had seen the picture and beaten the other person to it but to me the jacket was way under priced at £40 and that's why it went in a flash. I felt like a sacrificial lamb to keep the VIP's happy and justify their vip service charge as a newbie eager to please. Vestaire can go whistle I'll use another site or donate to charity rather than be used. Oh and I refuse to pay anyone 30% ever again for basically not a lot.

I recently purchased £1020 Marc Jacob bag from VC.
When i opened the bag, there was a strong smell of GLUE, and glue stains are on many parts of the bag, the shape of the bag is wrong, some of the details are also different from what i see in boutique. In addition, the fonts on the authentic card is different from a real one. After doing many comparison, i can surely confirm that this bag i bought is FAKE! I dont know how such fake bag PASSED their "QUALITY CONTROL". Sure there is no experts! And also the glue smell is obvious enough that this bag is fake! The smell is so pungent that i felt dizzy after smelling it. I also discovered that this seller on VC sells others fake bags as well (same bag as i bought). I believe this seller deliberately sells FAKE goods to make money on VC, so BUYERS please please be extra careful!
I have attached a photo of the fake authenticity cards attached in the bag, it cannot be more obvious that the font is so WRONG! The letters are irregular!
This is ridiculous to pay 1000 pounds for a FAKE BAG! I have already emailed VC, hope they can reply me next week.

Their so-called "quality control" team DAMAGED the shoes and they didn't even bother to tell me. I had to reach out and ask them what the heck was going on. So, sorry but you won't receive your item that you purchased and needed because we made a mistake. I can't even with these people. If I could sue for the treatment I received, especially since I really did need these shoes, I genuinely would. It would be worth it to me to make them pay. They shouldn't be in business.

I unfortunately bought a counterfeit Fendi bag (Order no. *******) from Vestiaire who always boasts that they authenticate all products that are sold on their platform. I receive the bag today and the brand tag inside the bag spells "FFNDI" (!) instead of FENDI [please see attached photos]. I have already spotted this from the sellers' photos after I ve placed the order (my fault of overlooking this detail when I hit the "buy" button) and raised this to Vestiaire and wanted to cancel my order. However, they only said their "experts" of authenticators will look at it when they received the item. I am appalled that they missed out this very obvious failure and still sent this counterfeit to me! On top of this ridiculous mis-spelling, some other details of the bag are rather poorly made that can be signs of a counterfeit. Even a layman like me can spot that. How can some "experts" miss that out? If they cannot perform their authenticating job, they should not say so and make this as their selling point to attract people to buy items from them.
Please be careful when buying from Vestiaire. Obviously they cannot authenticate and one is still taking the risks of getting fake items there.

I sold a Vintage Hermès Evelyne on Vestiaire and sent it in for the quality report. I packaged it in a large enough box with plenty of air packets so the item wouldn't be damaged. I also placed the item inside a generic dustbag. The quality report stated the dustbag was missing among other slight imperfections which I had thoroughly photographed and I clouded in my listing. My buyer cancelled the sale and I asked Vestiaire to return my item to me. When I received it back, it was crushed into a box that was way too small, with the dustbag draped over it, with zero cushion to protect it from damage. They couldn't even put it back in the dustbag. It now has scratches all over it, and I have spent hours trying to get in touch with their customer service over this issue. The rep has completely stopped responding and now my item is not in the same condition as when I sent it to them.

After 45 days my bank finally helped me with the issue and on 28th Sep, vc agreed to give me a full refund. Sent back the fake bag, and it arrived at vc on 29th sep.
No refund since then.
Asked them, they replied on 7th Oct, saying they received the bag on 3rd OCT and will take up to 14 days to give me a refund.
No refund untill yesterday (18th OCT). Contacted again, saying they need to get help from one of their expert team and will take up to 2~3 working days.
Contacted my bank again and waiting for their reply.
RUBBISH company. Please don't buy, never buy!

I sent an email to Trading Standards Office, and filled my bank's dispute form (for the reason I bought a fake product). I "luckily" got a new reply from VC, saying: "We unfortunately do not have any further information for your just yet. Rest assured, as soon as we have an update, we will let you know." They say they have "high number of requests at present".
Nearly give up get my money back directly from VC. I hope my bank and the Trading Standards Office will help me!

I got the result of the second quality control yesterday, saying they still think that fake bag is authentic. Now I have already spent money to ask a authenticate website to prove it's fake while in fact I think it's so fake at only one sight. Here is what vc says:

Spent $50 and got the fake bag authenticated by authenticatefirst.com, and got the certificate of non-authentic last week on Tuesday. Sent the written certificate to VC, and they told me:"In order to assist you further, we are awaiting additional information from one of our expert teams. They usually come back to us within 2 to 3 working days."
However, until today (7 days later) I haven't got any response from them. Have already sent 2 emails, still no response.
Prepare to find the help from a lawyer friend. Cannot understand why this kind of rubbish company can exist in this world. They do not care about their customers, they are the helper of fake sellers!

I spend £1246. 5 to buy a so called "new" loewe puzzle bag from this website. I used to sell things on it so I just believe their quality control really works since they never say mine is fake. However today when I recieved the bag I was over annoyed because it is obviously fake! You know the loewe logo should have two sharp angles on the "O" but the bag's is round. And the way the tag is sewed on the lining is of course wrong! The seller does not give clear photoes and at that time I am not very familar with this bag...
