I bought a bag on Vestiaire on 4 weeks ago. I couldn't get my delivery on time and I wrote an email about it to customer service again again and again. They still couldn't solve it which is frustrating.I should not consider any probelm that shipping related or such as similar problems actually I bought a bag via their brand which means from the begging to the end it's all on their responsibility. I cannot handle any of these problems it could be anything I'm not a professional importer that's why I paid to Vestiaire to do these things, I paid import taxes fee etc for that reason right!? I just expect my package to delivery on time and it failed obviously and I asked them to paid my refund. Math in this is very clear I didn't not have my delivery so if there's no product why did I paid for? This is the issue that Vestiaire need to solve it's not my problem I'm a customer. Customer happiness must be a first step in their business they have one job and obviously it's a very very amateur brand I highly not recommend this app do not buy anything! You might pay your money to get nothing!

I am an avid seller and shopper within the circular economy and Vestiaire has by far been my worst experience (I am US-based). It started out fine with some of my premium brand items selling fairly quickly but things really went downhill from there. There is no way to return "direct shipping" item even if there is an issue. They "quality control" your items and nitpick small flaws (even if the item is listed as good or fair which clear images) and email you to reduce the price even further. The second time this happened, they canceled the sale even after I approved the price decrease. What am I supposed to do with a returned item which will take weeks to get back to me? Maybe the buyer still wants it at an even further reduced price? There is no way for me to go back and even have that option. It will take days for VC to get back to my email, and their chat is seemingly on holiday for several days (how is this an actual business!). I would stick with buying from honest Poshmark sellers with clear descriptions or The RealReal for authenticated goods (but sticking to items that say they are still returnable, not "big sale" items, just to further protect yourself). Stay away from VC company entirely! Or just buy from trusted sellers you see, which have their own websites so they don't get hit with commission fees from this ridiculous company.

Avoid or shop directly from the trusted sellers (just google their shop names). If you buy direct shipping it is almost impossible to return something without getting into a drawn-out dispute

I have an authenticate Fendi bag ref ******* with a price tag recently been rejected by them without any reasons and they are holding my bag without shipping it back to me unless I pay their shipping fee. I have asked them many times to give me specific reasons because they said they couldn't verify, but they keep divert the conversation and asked me for invoices... Whether an item is fake or not doesn't depends on the invoice... their basic logic is false and their ambiguity towards how and why they determine a seller selling unauthenticated item is even more unreasonable. It seems to me that they have never require any items have invoices and tens of thousands sellers are selling "new" " very good" condition on their website with no problem. I think they have no idea if an item is real or not, they just in it to make money whenever they find a chance. The real reason of that "Unfortunately, in applying the criteria involved in this process, we have been unable to verify its authenticity. We are therefore cancelling the sale." is something they are hiding and don't want me know.

I always request for them to label the goods as "made in EU" on the customs slip as items made in EU are duty exempt upon entering Canada. They failed to do this with one order. A $1400 Gucci bag was charged $450 in Taxes and duty charges. My item was unnecessarily charged $350 in addition to taxes because of this error. I reached out to them 11 days ago asking for an updated invoice that I can provide to DHL so their customs broker can reasess the duty value.
Their representative told me that if the bag gets shipped back to them they would relist it for sale. I have since then emailed and called them on a daily basis asking for this invoice as I would like to keep this item. It has been 11 days and they are still working on getting back to me.
Calls are answered by a support team with no option to speak to a manager, emails have gone unanswered since 7 days ago.
A large company like this should not ship items to Canada if they are unable to correct mistakes and label the customs slip with adiquit information in regards to the origin of their items sold, so that charges can be calculated accurately. Do not order from this website if you are based in Canada. You will have to pay for unnecessary duty charges with no help from Vestiaire when requesting for an updated invoice.

I purchased a pair of ToTem jeans described as never worn and no memtion about having a manufacturing defect. I immediately sent, within two hours of receiving the package, an information about the irregularities found: the cut of the left side is defective and these pants cannot be worn. After I sent the information, with eloquent photographs, the answer from Vestiaire was that the "team of experts" analyzed the photos and did not consider a thing the defect, anything being wrong and that they would relist my product for sale, free of charge, if I do this in 72h. Since it doesn't offer you any protection against fraud, it encourages you to lie in turn, hoping that you will find another person to deceive... I announced that I am willing to pay for sending the product to "the experta" on the spot, to see with their own expert eyes what I am talking about. This is the second time i am in this situatio, the first time I gave up because they have the worst customer service I have ever met. You barely get in contact with someone, people are poorly prepared and simply not trustworthy. Do not buy products through this platform, I will make a complaint to the consumer protection in France, they cannot simply steal from me! Please be very carefull about your money!

if you leave a detail out on an item you're listing you cant edit you have to go through a long winded process via their customer service
The wait time for customer service can be 20minutes + or longer
they don't employ professionals who know their fashion brands and what to look for fake versus real ( i know people that have bought fakes)
Their "authentication " department ask for more details on an item and when you provide them with it ( tags original box etc) they still deny it
They have no complaints department any time you try to enquire about their process you only get generic answers
VESTIAIRE - despite your response below 48hrs later and im still waiting for you to contact me ….says it all

It's an attractive platform because there are so many choices there, and pricing is competitive. And you'd be all good if everything goes smoothly, but in my experience 4 out 5 times, it doesn't.
1. Seller may not ship the item and you get fully refunded - this might take 2 weeks or more to get through, seller gets no punishment for that, and you miss out on exhange of your refund
2. Filtering of the options is very poor, so you may have to scroll through thousands of items to fine a suitable one
3. Setting up alerts for specific works badly - you select specific countries of location, but ones alert is saved, this fitler is ignored, and again you sift through gazillion of irrelevant clothes to find the one you're after.
4. App does not allow to post photos of the items worn, so often very hard to tell how it will fit on the body, especially for a more complex fit items
5. If you are buying something from your own country, but Vestiare doesn't have authentication centre in there, it will trigger duty charges because they will ship it overseas for authentication - for expensive items that means hundreds of dollars extra thus not making it a good platform for shopping locally.
All in all, if you have all the time in the world to search through piles of poorly photographed items, and then to risk not getting it due to non-shipment, this is the right platform for you, because you can get quite good prices for designer items. But if you are short on time, delete this $#*!er from your go-to list of apps.

be patient, and don't expect that you have the item because you paid for it, the chance of the orger being cancelled is high

If i could leave zero stars i would! This website is utterly FRAUD- i made an offer on a ring, they "quality controlled it" and then said it was in VERY GOOD CONDITION despite them flagging it didnt match the sellers description...except when it arrived it was damaged so badly Bulgari itself cannot repair it!. It was plain fraud - I havw repeatedly contacted customer "service" and sent pictures and sent the ring back and complained and despite weeks of trying to reach them they refuse to refund me and just want me to relist it for another person to be swindled? In fact today they relisted it despite my flatly refusing to accept that...these guys are just crooks.
Have a look at the pictures.one is what they said the ring was, the others are what was delivered...
Customer service, inept, and unwilling to deal correctly when things go wrong. They did say this would be rectified and then backtracked after item was shipped to me Multiple emails to multiple agents, all with vague/ zero responses. This company is untrustworthy. You cannot buy with confidence, and you MUST not trust that they will not fix any issues - but boy do they take your money fast. AVOID THIS PLATFORM.

All items listed on this terrible companies webiste are FAKE, most sellers are from Bulgaria and other Eastern European places famous for counterfit goods. Vestiaire Collective do not authenticate and are happy to forward on fake clothing as they get a cut of the illegal profits. Please do yourself a favour and steer clear of this awful company, read the hundreds of fake and poor reviews, once they have your money you will never get it back. Ask yourself why they do not respond to a single one of the reviews?
Also i will attach an image below of a Stone Island cap off their first page again sold by a Bulgarian. This item has never been sold, designed or made as a prototype by this legendary designer sportswear giant yet they are advertising these for £67.76 under the very good condition category. The image shows the item with tags again fake but surely would come under brand new? Again just a ploy to sell a expensive fake at a price to tempt people into thinking they have a bargain. Please please take this company to court, shut this company down and refund all the people who have been duped.

THEY SOLD ME A FAKE CHANEL WALLET
I went into the Chanel store today to get the wallet zip fixed (sold already half faulty but I accepted the damage and bought the item). They tried to look up the serial number on the system and could not find it. Then they brought out a real Chanel wallet and said the serial number and card have different font to the Chanel wallet in my possession. Not only was I duly embarrassed and mortified that Vestiaire sold me a FAKE Chanel wallet even after authentication processes but now, how much longer will it take for them to refund me the total amount?!?!
I will be endeavouring to blacklist this company through complaining to regulatory bodies and PayPal. DO NOT SHOP HERE - YOU WILL GET SCAMMED AND LEFT EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. DO NOT RISK IT.

Primarily, I seek clarification regarding the discrepancies found in my item. The decision to not approve it suggests a potential accusation of selling counterfeit goods. I gave this rate to Vestiarie C. Because this company is a joke, I'm just done with their excuses. I sold a Swarovski bracelet on Jan/06/2020 and according to the company's policy I would get paid by Jan/21st. OK, I checked at the app and it was informing that the payment had been done. Checking on my account details at the app I saw that one number was wrong and I contacted them after I fix it. Well, let's make something clear here, I know it was my fault that the account number wasn't correct at the time of payment, but I contacted the company right away and I knew that it was "fixable". I waited for weeks because they said they are having a large volume of other issues to be solved; However I know it's very easy to solve my case, since they probably got their money back from the bank, the account they had paid do not exist, so the transference was never really completed. They just had to pay me again through the right account number. It has been over 40 days since I contacted them about this matter, I'm waiting for a solution and they just keep sending me the same email almost every week. I truly believe by now that they are trying to fool me and they will never going to pay me. Run from this company, go sell your things somewhere else.

I ordered earrings ref Hello, I bought earrings, ref *******, on March 22nd. Asked VC if they could contact the seller after more than 7 days, as adverted. They responded by an automated email. I then contacted seller myself as I could find his website. He confirmed the item had been shipped DHL the day of the payment and they had received it the next day. I wrote back to VC to tell them that the item had been sent. The replied the same day that indeed, suddenly, the item had been shipped and they would send me an email when they would receive it. I then sent the proof of receipt with signature the seller had sent me. So today, one day later, they suddenly have lost the item and it would take them 6 WORKING DAYS to search for it. So now, as I have been lied to twice and as I read all of the similar cases and start to get very worried as I also ordered three other items on the website, I have sent the emails exchanged to my lawyer just in case. So that is my experience for my first item bought through their website. The items should better be authentic too.

The commissions are crazy crazy high, no contact with the end buyer, i hear they loose stuff in delivery.
Terrible payment terms, ONCE A MONTH PAYMENT PAYPAL, 3DAYS for bank transfer! IN THE MODER AGE thats BULL.
Bunch of total cowboys and crims, they wont last long, my bet is there money will run out soon so beware of them going bust, something does not smell right there for sure.

Bought shoes, received a quality message letting me know items were missing and I could cancel my order, which I did. The seller and I wrote to each other and she knew I was going to cancel the order and was ok with that. There was a glitch in the system because right after canceling my order I received a confirmation message. I immediately contacted customer service (literally 5 mins) and after many back and forths they end up writing to me that they couldn't do anything other then relist the shoes at the same price under my account and keep the shoes in the meantime. I asked if the duties and taxes I paid would be refunded, they listed the shoes and never answered me. I had to write back and was told no that it was not refundable- absurd! I didn't even receive the shoes so why am I expected to pay 300$ worth of duties and taxes plus I need to pay the commission for resale! Obviously I asked for the shoes to be shipped to me because I was loosing so much money. I still haven't received the shoes, they are still for sale on my account and it's been one week since I last spoke with customer service. Awful experience! The seller pulled the item out seconds after submitting a counter offer which I accepted and immediately set forth to pay which I cannot 'coz the item was pulled out without explanation. I was left hanging wondering if it was a system error. I tried for several hours to get through and tried to message the seller through his other items to no avail. I sent an inquiry to Vestiaire if it was a system failure. Vestiaire responded 2 days after that the item was pulled out and no longer in Vestiaire. I responded asking how they could allow that when the approved offer came from the seller and asked how customers can be protected from such disrespecful and irresponsible action from the seller in their site. 5 days running till now and I have no response. The seller's other items are available still at Vestiaire and he still engages the inquiries and removed any question for updates from me asking if he knows what was happening. No wonder sellers can be manipulative and downright take advantage. Vestiaire does nothing to protect buyers. The more discgusting part is that you are just ignored by the entity who is supposed to put things in place to protect you.

So very disappointed. Have purchased a pair of Louis Vuitton heels listed by Vestiaire Collective Concierge Service as " Very good condition".
Have received heels with huge scuffs on heels in some parts the leather is missing! How shocking.
Upon receiving the parcel I have written an email to VC supplied photos of these heels asking to take these shoes back and issue me with a refund.
Nobody got back to me I kept sending emails until today when I have received an email from someone called Ghizlène who has stated they don't accept returns and I can relist these shoes if I wish - a small handling fee will be deducted from the final sale. ( That means they will be released as very good condition while in fact the condition is poor, worned out soles, scuffs and missing leather on heels).
I have purchased an item marked by VC Condition: Very good condition.( A second-hand pair of shoes in very good condition have barely been worn and very well looked after.)
What I have got is a pair of heels which correspond to a Fair condition:
Huge scuffs on heels and missing leather on heels, worned out soles.
Shame on your Vestiaire Collectives we pay 30% commission fee for you to check all items properly- in this case you have not done it and now you refuse to admit your mistake and takes these worned out shoes!
