My experience with your company has been nothing short of a nightmare. You dragged out my sale for over four months, and when I finally got my purse back, it was in terrible condition due to your carelessness. To make matters worse, after all that time, you had the nerve to call it a sale and insulted me with a mere $25 payout. I've never been treated so poorly by any company before. Your customer service was not just unhelpful—it was downright dismissive and incompetent at every step. This has been an absolute disaster from start to finish. Before and after pictures

I am leaving this review as a seller, as I am furious at the way Vestiaire treats sellers. Their quality control is just a joke. They will nitpick or literally make things up (such a saying a watch is not working, and then it comes back... actually working and on time.) Or take the worst pictures to get the buyer to cancel the sale. On a black background, with artificial light, with fingerprints and dust on it, which would make anything look bad. Obviously the buyer will say that they don't want it anymore and cancel the sale without even having a chance to look at the item.
These cancellations happen a lot more than they should and it wouldn't be the case if Vestiaire did not actually profit from them: they get to charge you higher fees for 30 days when this happens, and they also charge you of flat rate of £15 each time.
The way sellers are treated, the lack of customer service, the opacity, the fact that listings are non-modifiable, or that we don't have a right to respond or get in touch with the buyer (or the quality control team) in case of dispute... all of this is shameful and ends up profiting them and them only.
Of course the platform gives you access to a lot of customers, but honestly, if you have a chance to sell your items elsewhere, I suggest that you do.

I purchased quite a few items in Jan/Feb 3 of those items were "delivered" but not received - not signature No photos - but not received & I had to pay hundreds for the merchandise A Burberry jacket ordered in March was just posted to me today - after me begging for a refund - notifying them I no longer needed jacket & to cancel Which they have not - so again I'm paying for a jacket needed in May that I had to buy locally bcuz Vestiaire took 4 months to post. Then there was the TWO fake Cartier bags, 1 refunded - 1 refused to be refunded - yet not returned to me - so another few hundred Just thrown away - I'm fighting for months for refunds and not getting anywhere. They get your money - you get nothing - or poor quality products that should be thrown away. Torn - dirty - worn out - take my experience and AVOID
Customer service Reps - when you can reach them are rude, and unhelpful. I spent 77 minutes on chat to cancel the Burberry jacket a few days ago. Only to be sent the jacket today. They want their money at all costs, and you; the consumer. You don't matter to them in the least.

I bought an item on Vestiaire, it was sent to you for the authentic control and then I made a mistake to send it to a pick up point in Italy. I contacted your customer services immediately, they all told me "Once the item is back to the warehouse you can change the address and the delivery option by updating the address." I followed their instructions and surprisingly the item was sent to the pick up point again! (Btw I don't live in Italy so there's no way for me to pick the item up.)

Later I contacted the support team, the girl who's in charge doesn't even read my email, always sending me something irreverent, however, we still kept in touch. Yesterday she informed me the item is back to the warehouse again, so I gave her the delivery information and I even emphasized that *Please help to select Direct Delivery to the providing address*. Guess what? The item is STILL sending to the location for pick up only.

I made the order on January 3rd. It's been more than TWO MONTHS and they keep making the same mistake… I've wasted too much of my time and energy on this. And actually now I just want the refund and delete my vestiaire account, promise not to use and not to recommend it to anyone!

UPDATE:
WOWWWW they never responded to my messages instead THEY DEACTIVATED MY ACCOUNT. I have no way to contact them regarding this issue. What a FRAUD of a company. DO NOT BUY.

I just received today a pair of Gucci sandals that I ordered and they are OBVIOUSLY fake, the Gucci logo on the sandal is peeling off… they are not genuine leather… they have a bad odour… and I reached out to them via chat and no one replied yet… I want a full refund for this order. This is ridiculous!

I purchased an Hermes Plume for $4400 AUD. They guarantee 100% authentic. Bag arrived, checked thought it looked good. Never once thought that it may be fake because I trusted the website. Put it away in their dust bag. A few months later I opened up and gold hardwear had changed its colour. Took it to Hermes Storef or repair which I have done a few times with my existing bags only to be told that it is a fake bag. Could not contact them, all emails were bounce back. DO NOT BUY FROM VESTIAIRE COLLECTIVE not ALL are authentic!

This website is a scam! I bought a dress it says in description was new, but it has so many flaws when it arrives, I opened a dispute on paypal they sent me free shipping label, and i sent the dress back to them, they accepted and they never refunded! They always say close the dispute so we can refund, though i told them that paypal clearly stated for me DONT CLOSE THE DISPUTE UNLESS THE MONEYY IN UR ACCOUNT, but they kept insisting on that, they think that I dont know how paypal works :) the money is pending for a month, they dont have the money in their account how on earth it is "llitigious"
Now they have the dress and they have my money! Am so frustrated :) I just escalated the issue to paypal and I hope I will get back my money

I shop for a living and every time I do a big shop (like 15 items) on Vestiaire and i am super excited about my items. Sellers have great things to sell BUT BUT BUT without fail every time i shop something happens and I CAN NOT get ahold of any one in customer service. The way they have set up the system - the way they taunt you and treat the customers like crap - the robots you have to go through - VESTIAIRE IS A HORRIBLE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE! I just did a big shopping on the site last week and again - super super frustrating because they did something and i can not talk to anyone to fix it. I get so angry that i need to take a break for a few months and not shop on there... after a few months i forget how awful it was and i shop again on there because i see items i like and the same awful experience again.

I have been a trusted seller off and on with VC.
I have had multiple situations where I sent the sold item, the buyer received the item and I did not get paid. Mostly they claim "technical glitches".

Basically, if I did not track every single item I sold to make sure I got paid, then I would miss out on a lot of payments.

The most recent instance was last month. I even messaged the buyer to ask if they received the item and they replied graciously that they did and that the item was perfect. I sent a screenshot of the private message with the buyer to VC and they still claim they must "investigate" the matter. I have contacted them every day for 2 weeks via chat and email (as they removed their phone number). Every time I'm told they will raise an urgent matter and I should receive a response within 1-3 working days. I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE! It's going on 3 weeks now since I should have been paid. The item was shipped first of the year!

I have been slowly removing all my items from VC and selling on other platforms as their service has proven to be the worst!

I ordered a Balenciaga Hourglass Bag last December 12,2022. During the quality control assessment the bag has flaws that the seller didn't disclose and I was contacted about it so I cancelled my order. I was told the order was cancelled and refund should be going back to my card. I wasn't checking my account until January 20,2023 and noticed that Vestiaire Collective has been taken money out of my credit card for total of $1280.00. I contacted the chat support and wasn't helpful as they response once a day or 3 days after! They asked me to send my statement and I did and after a month long of dealing with them everyday until now February 15,2023 no refund has been returned! Now they're asking me again for my statement! What? You gotta be kidding me! I hate this platform and I am here spreading awareness about it. PLEASE GO TO FASHIONPHILE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE PERIOD!

I WISH I HAD SEEN THIS SITE FIRST! I live in Sweden and the site is in France. That means we DO NOT pay import tax. At no point was I informed that my LV bag was coming from the US. Even so, it is VESTIAIRE COLLECTIVE that is the handler.
A day after I receive my bag, I receive a bill from DHL for IMPORT TAX of, 230/$250/£215! A NO POINT WAS I INFORMED OF THIS! I am trying to contact Vestiaire Collective but no one answers!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THERE SHOULD BE SOMEWAY TO STOP THEM FROM OPERATING! A HOAX SITE! A SCAM!

If you really want to help me, please give me the answers to my questions.
I have once again summarised the facts as you know or ought to know that this item does not meet its description. It is beyond belief that you continue to state that it does.

1. The bracelet was advertised with certificate of authenticity
2. Based on the description I decided to buy the bracelet
3. When the bracelet arrived, it turned out that the certificate was left blank, notwithstanding the fact that Van Cleef & Arpels (hereinafter VCA) is very thorough with issuing certificates.
4. The certificate is a vital part of the agreement and a blank certificate will have an impact on the re-sale value, even if this is a genuine VCA bracelet.
5. Can you please provide me with either a full refund or a certificate issued by VCA as advertised when I entered into the agreement?

Can you please explain why the blank certificate is not mentioned in your answer? Can you please provide reasons as to why you think that a missing certificate or blank certificate is not an issue when you know or ought to know that I cannot easily get a replacement certificate from VCA? This is not even the brands standards!

I am looking forward to receive a detailed answer in relation to the blank certificate.

Very bad service and false advertising

I have purchased an item from Vestiaire Collective. They were also the seller of the product. Based on their information in the ad, I should receive the following: a bracelet, box, pouch and a certificate. These parts were present on receipt, but an incomplete certificate was missing. This is not stated anywhere in their ad, but is critical to the validity of the product. I paid for an authenticity service and they haven't reported anything about this either. An empty certificate is something that is absolutely not common and was marked by the brand as very striking/alarming. I have received a product that does not meet the description. The certificate is not complete and for me this is an invalid purchase. I have been misled and I would like a refund. After a lot of contact with Vestiaire Collective, they indicate that I can return the bracelet and that they want to authenticate it again. However, this is not my issue. This is an incomplete certificate. So the only solution for me is a refund. Even if it's an authentic product, I don't want it because it's incomplete. So this should be reported. That didn't happen. Vestiaire Collective came up with their solution today, namely: the bracelet under my name again. Also here in the new advertisement AGAIN does not indicate that an empty certificate is attached. Unacceptable and I don't agree to be duped here. They also take 50 euros as a commission for re-placement. Very bad communication and service!

Dont buy or sell at Vestiaire Collective. They dont sell complete items and mislead you with their false advertisements

THEIR AUTHENTICATION PROCESS IS A FRAUD!
I paid £15 for authentication, and the bag I received doesn't match the picture. I've flagged that to vestiaire on 22 November and chased them countless times for a solution. Only now, 13 December they told me to send it back for a recheck.
I cannot do that, as I'm now going away for 2 months. I've asked for a refund of the £15 in authentication fee (bc clearly the authentication was a fraud). I was told there are no refunds (funnily enough, if the bag is found not to match, there will be refund), but not for a service that I paid for and wasn't provided with.
Long story short: if you spend a lot of money and receive a fake item, you're left at your own lucky. Don't think vestiaire will do anything to help you - THEY WON'T! Save your money and buy from somewhere else! They don't care at all, I've waited more than THREE WEEKS chasing and chasing. Luckily I didn't spend a lot of money on it but there are LOTS of fake bags out there and I can confirm their check is totally useless. They even recognised that the bag I received and the picture don't match. STAY AWAY. Don't trust them! Their processes are shady and their customers service is even worse!

Regarding our guidelines, the buyer only has 7 days to ship the item and if it is extended this delay, the buyer will never have the opportunity to ship back the item. Which means that we are unable to provide another shipping label for the return as the delay of 7 days expired.

This has been an overall terrible shopping experience. I placed an order for an item and was notified it was cancelled because the seller did not ship the item in time. Except the seller did ship the item within the window but Vestiaire Collective's system did not update until after the shipping window had closed. Because of this, I received a refund and then a subsequent shipping notification. I received the item but still had the refund. I was told there was no way to just recharge my credit card. So I have to make an international bank transfer since I would like to keep the item. However there is no way to do this transfer via PayPal or ApplePay/credit card which is how I originally paid. This is a big inconvenience and something I wish Vestiaire Collective would change. This entire process has been confusing and the agents in the chat feature were not helpful (one agent told me that I could do the transfer via PayPal when I actually cannot). After this experience, I will not be using Vestiaire Collective again because it is just too much trouble and too much burden on the customer to fix a problem that the company caused. I'm giving 2 stars because the seller was very nice and the item came in perfect condition. But Vestiaire Collective as a company deserves zero stars.

I HAVE PAID $ 1277. 71 FOR A FAKE LV GM BACKPACK. I ALWAYS WANTED TO HAVE THIS PURSE. SINCE LV IS NOT MAKING THIS PURSE ANYMORE SO I DECIDED TO GET FROM VC, THEY CLAIMED ( INCLUDING THE PRIVATE SELLER AND VC. PROMISE % 100 AUTHENTICITY. I HAVE TRUSTED WHAT THEY CLAIMED AND PURCHASED. WELL, IT HAS TERRIBLE, VERY STRONG PARFUME SMELL, NOT JUST THAT FAKE LV. SO I AM WRITING EMAILS BACK AND FORTH. NOW, THEY TELL ME IF I CAN SEND THEM CERTIFICATE FROM LV FOR NON AUTHENTICITY? AS I TOLD THEM CERTANLY ( AS EVERYBODY KNOWS) LV DIDN ' T SELL TO ME THIS PURSE THERE FOR THEY WON ' T SAY IT IS OR IT IS NOT! IF THE COMPANY SAYS " %100 AUTHENTICITY, WHY SHOULDN ' T I BELIEVE?
