So far, my shopping experience has been very good. The delivery times are a bit long, but it's understandable since the items come from another country or continent. A very good app for buying clothes.
My experience with your company has been nothing short of a nightmare. You dragged out my sale for over four months, and when I finally got my purse back, it was in terrible condition due to your carelessness. To make matters worse, after all that time, you had the nerve to call it a sale and insulted me with a mere $25 payout. I've never been treated so poorly by any company before. I sold an Item in fab/22 after posting it with Hermes, the item got lost by currier.
I tried and contacted numerous times VC team via email and chat. No help whatsoever. I was told item is still on the way last time I talked to someone.
As it's 3rd time this year this happened, I started taking screenshots of any communication for proof. Lucky I did cos Vest. C deleted my sale of my account after inquiring about resolution and payment. I find this extremely low move. I have proof of all. I lost £40 sale and ap dress as this never was returned to me. This is not a company that you can count on. They are playing very dirty and slightly illegal game here. Horrible customer service, email no longer works, so really not that easy to get hold of someone to complain. Noone reply to anything. Of something goes wrong, it's on you really. I will get my money back, I won't allow this discussion company to use me like this. It's been 3rd month now. No resolution or help at all. Horrific. I posted it on 26/02/22 and this item never Vas delivered. Noone is helping to resolve. I feeling like fighting with the wall here

It is impossible to shut off the annoying marketing notifications from the app.
The only solution is to disable all notifications from the app itself, which means missing out on useful notifications such as, an offer has been made on your item, and so on. Really, VC, you receive 20% commission, do you really need to pester people with annoying unsolicited marketing messages?
Also, it is apaprently a policy that VC will not forward on private messages, or alert you in any way, that you have received a message from a buyer. It sits there silently until you happen to log in to the website and come across it by accident. This is ridiculous. Ebay has no problem forwarding private messages to your email, why do you VC? It interferes with buyers and sellers efficiently exchanging information.
Finally, the delivery of the purchase is slowed down by their indirect shipping method, which I'm sure is supposed to add value but in my experience does not. I think it's unecessary and slows down the delivery to the point of it being a painful exercise waiting for your delivery to arrive. Why not let the seller ship directly; in the hopefully rare event that there is a problem, let the buyer return it to VC for review and VC can refund the buyer. The less meddling by the middleman, the better.
Finally, the website does not accept a pdf file as proof of receipt of purchase. Apparently it has to be an image file, but you do not know this until you waste 30 minutes messaging support and trying to find out what is the problem, because the website throws a meaningless "undefined" error message.
I don't see this website staying around for too much longer with these defects in place.

Purchased a MAX MARA TEddy coat from an "expert seller." Supposed to be a size FR40. When it arrived it was substantially smaller than my other 2 authentic MAX MARA TEDDY COATS in a size Medium. Took photos and customer service agreed, however, when I mailed the coat back, Quality Control didn't even bother to look at the comparison photos! Said I could "relist it." Why would I relist an item I did not pay for!?! I received an item that was different than what I thought I was paying for. THAT is the store's responsibility to rectify this, NOT the purchasing customer. That's like me ordering a size 8 shoe and the store sending me a size 6, then saying, "well you can resell it or give it to someone else."
UPDATE: Vestaire responded stating seller listed measurements in posting, however, the measurements listed STILL DO NOT MATCH the actual measurements of the garment. Either Vestaire's quality control never checked the measurements, or they don't know how the measure a garment properly. THE COLLAR IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE LENGTH OF A GARMENT. The seller stated the garment's length was 105cm, but it is clearly less than that. Anyone who knows anything about Max Mara coats knows that a difference in cm means a lot when it comes to how the coat will hang on you and the sleeve length [(especially a Teddy coat size Small (which is what the pink coat turned out to be) verses a Teddy coat Size medium (of which I own 2 tags and labels still attached)]. Teddy coats in a size small verses medium fit drastically different.
This company is so unprofessional and they lack customer service and accountability.

I would strongly advise not to buy anything on their site. Their authentication check-up is extremely poor. I bought a LV bag and when I received it, the condition was much worse than reflected in the pictures and described. The faults I discovered were not mentioned and neither shown in the pictures. Vestiaire took it back for a second check and said it lived up to their standard accordingly to category. Then i wrote them back with pictures and the specific faults second time. The customer rep said they didn't check those specifics but just a standard check-up. I had 24 hours to decide if i wanted the bag back, or they would just relist the item for the purchase price and charge their usual commission. I am very frustrated as I feel I've been sold a product based on pictures that wasn't reflecting the real condition. Their customer service is poor and slow. So on top of the price paid for the bag, I paid for a quality check-up (as its part of the process when buying) that is extremely poor, plus shipping cost. And their suggestion is to relist the item on the price i bought the bag, using the same pictures so that a next buyer will be in the exact same situation as me. Plus they will charge me their standard commission. So in the end if I decided to accept any of the offers being made on the bag at this point, it will end up costing me equivalent to 150 gbp /1500 hkd and time for a product that i dont even have. So just money out of the window. After telling about my story, other people have told me lots of items on the platform are fake. So poor quality and authentication check-up really isn't trustworthy with them. Conclusion buy dont through them for second hand.

I sold a coat via vestiaire for over a 1000 dollars. I sent it just a day after, but vestiaire canceled the order when the parcel arrived at the french border, because they didn't want to pay costum duties. Afterwards they blamed me for not sending the parcel within 5 day, which was simply no true - I sent them the receipt of the shipping confirmation, they simply ignored it.
I payed 50 dollars to send the order from Switzerland to France. Money I will not get back from them as communication with them is incredibly difficult and frustrating.
Their costumer service lives up to it's bad reputation. It is difficult to communicate with the via costumer service, as they remain unreachable and if the reply, they keep their answers to empty phrases and shallow promises. One answer of them was so irrelevant to my actual question, that it made me wonder if they even read my email.
As many of you, I'd strongly adivse agains using Vestiaire Collective as a selling plattform. They are unreliable.

This place is not to be trusted. This is my first time trying to buy a second hand luxury item and it is horrendous. I ordered a mini lady Dior bag (the description said "mini) and it was listed for 3300$ and it had to be shipped from Uk to usa. I asked the seller a couple of times is it "mini" and she confirmed yes. I had to go through the hassle of customs and ended up print 4K overall because of "sales tax" by vestiaire collection and then I get the bag for 21 days and guess what it was a frikking "micro bag" like literally only my keys would fit. I messaged him the second I got the bag and the customer service said they'll review the bag and refund of the description doesn't match. The seller also listed wrong dimensions of the bag so I was frustrated but confident that once I ship the bag back to vestiaire they will refund the money back because the title was purposefully misleading and also the dimensions were off but guess what as soon as they received the item they said it matches whatever the seller listed and then relisted the same frikking bag under my account for 3300 and wow I lose 700 for nothing and I didn't even authorize them to re-list the bag and the customer service constantly kept saying the description matches despite me sending a screenshot of the dimensions vs the pictures of me measuring it. But nope. They didn't wanna do anything and didn't wanna give my money back. If you are looking for good second hand luxury bags, please please don't use this website. They don't have a means to cal them and the customer service is only available through chat which is frustrating and if anything goes wrong with your order they won't take any responsibility. I gave this site a shot because it was "woman owned" but god, this site is run my scammers. SO STAY AWAY!

I sold and posted a pair of Louboutin heels worn only once ( they were a size too small) and in mint condition, using the Vestiaire label and courier provided. The shoes were sold to a Vestiaire buyer for £300 and were delivered to a collection point given to/by Vestiaire (it's provided on their courier label). Once sent I received emails stating that the shoes had arrived at the collection point and the buyer had been notified to collect them. After 2 weeks the buyer still had not collected them so I contacted Vestiaire via an online chat "bot" but eventually chatted online to someone whom I think was a real person! I was informed in that chat exchange that my shoes would automatically be returned if the buyer did not pick them up after 2 weeks. I've made contact via chat and email with Vestiaire several time as it's now been 5 weeks and my shoes haven't been returned and they have not been collected from the collection point. It would now seem that for some reason the shoes cannot be located? Vestiaire does not allow you to speak with them directly and everything is done through regular generic automated emails stating simply they are looking into the situation! I have emailed re a refund for my shoes or returning my shoes but they will not repairs to my request for a refund or shoes in return! Please be very aware of using this site as the security and insurance regarding the loss of your items may not be in place and you may be left out of pocket. I am still awaiting the return of my shoes or a refund but through this process have had no contact directly with a member of staff to ensure that I will get them back or a refund of the £300! They put pressure on you via emails to quickly get your goods sent out as the buyer is waiting etc but when it comes to taking care of customers and loss of expensive items they aren't helpful or supportive and send generic emails to placate you. There are other sites out there where you can speak directly with customer service and care so my advice would be choose one of those before this company.
