I got the wrong movie title, contacted customer service to get the situation rectified. I sent them the pictures of proof of purchase and everything else they asked for. Did not receive an update until a full month later. They asked for better pictures. A month later and situation wasn't resolved. They're a waste of time. It's a joke.

I will never do business wih these folks again. I wanted to download a movie to watch on the airplane. Vudu came up as a vendor. So I purchased a movie, but it turned out, after purchase that they do streaming like everyone else. So I waited to watch at home on ROKU. But it was constantly buffering. Went all the way down to the lowest speed, and still couldn't watch the movie. The interesting piece is that I tested my Comcast speed at 22-MBS which apparent wasn't sufficient to watch at any speed/quality even though I have no problem with xfinity, Netflix and Amazon. As I started, I will never purchase from them again.

I've tried to convert my DVD's so I can download them to my iPad. No success. I received the Big Bang Theory Season 8. Inside there was a reference code for a free on line copy. I entered the reference code and the site gave me the option to open it in my VUDU account. I opened VUDU, there it was, under the My TV tab with two options. But it for $34.95 or Redeem. I selected Redeem and entered the same reference number. VUDU then said the reference number wasn't valid. So, I have the DVD there, but can't open it. Time to give up!

All movies play a few seconds,, then stop for 3 to 5 minutes then play for a few more seconds them stop,, then play then stop and so on! I made a mistake and rented one. It took 7 and an half hours to watch a 93 minute movie that I paid money for to watch! All VUDU contact support numbers didn't work. Do not ever rent or buy a movie to watch. All movies play and stop play and stop, free or rented. All movies! Sorry website! Not wroth a crap!

I've had Vudu for about 4 years and I have about 200 movies and TV shows in my collection. I've rarely had any issues that stemmed directly from Vudu itself; most problems were due to my Charter Internet service. I knew it wasn't Vudu because when Vudu would fail I would run speedtest to find that my connection was stalling. A modem and router reset would fix it, but for a while Charter was hit/miss especially at night times. The last 2 years they have fixed things so I no longer have any buffering issues. I'm located in San Francisco Bay area, not sure if physical location impacts streaming quality.

For all the bad reviews pointing the finger to Vudu for your buffering issues, make sure to test your internet connection to be sure where the problem is. I'm loving Vudu and I can't wait for them to stream 4k content. They're already on board with Dolby Atmos so they're keeping up with the times.

Tip for consumers:
There's a lot of bad reviews for Vudu, and I just can't attest to that. My buffering issues have almost always been due to my internet provider, not Vudu.

I signed up, redeemed the movie that I bought at Walmart, then they told me I had to download the app, so I did. Then I went to watch it, they told me to redeem it again. So I entered the code again, same code as before, they told me it was an invalid code, even though the movie that I redeemed was showing up in my library, as mine. They kept sending me in circles, download the app again, redeem the movie again, wrong code again, even though it was still in my library, waiting for me to watch it... But it wouldn't let me. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone!

Luckily I've only spent about $35 on purchased movies! The app doesn't work well with Samsung Tv's. Now the Vudu to Go app isn't working on my computer, so I can't download movies that I bought because of some Adobe Air issue. I haven't tried to fix yet but according to the forums it's not working for a lot of people. I've been told to get an Xbox, but now I'm seeing the same trouble with those that I'm having with my Samsung TV. I can watch movies on my computer and tiny iphone, but considering I have a UHD Samsung TV, I would like to be able to watch movies there! Horrible app! I'm going to got back to buying DVD's!

This is without a doubt the worst streaming site around, $#*!, pure $#*!! Garbage, it does not work, and i doubt it ever will. How can they get away with this complete garbage site, and expect to have any customers. Don't sign up and really don't go anywhere near this useless hunk of trash, it is a complete waste of time. Can you spell buffer. Screen hangups, and complete browser lockups. It is truly a waste of time and a complete bunch of garbage, 10+ year old movies, and the ones they call "free" are even older than that. Complete garbage site.

I had a tech problem with a film. Called the service number after the film would not upload. Talk to the service rep. And after trying what he asked
Me to do, so he said he would issue me a refund (2.10). That was 4/25/
I asked him to give me an email telling me about the refund. Today May 13
And I talked to my bank and they did not have a refund from this company
Again I called the customer service and they emailed their boss and they said to copy my credit card statement and block any other information except the Vudu. I told him and his supervisor that there is NOTHING about Vudu
Giving me credit. It's Only $2.10 Not worth another 2 hours going through my robot at my bank and being on hold for VuVu customer service. Customer
Service is a JOKE. When I asked him to speak to a supervisor he laughed
And side they would only tell me what he told me..

I had rented and purchased movies through Vudu on my Blu-Ray. Then I updated my email and payment info and tried for almost 2 MONTHS to get Vudu to update my account info. With my Blu-ray. I provided my device ID 3 times and they just couldn't get it done. The first time I requested to have old info removed from my device, they completed shut down the online email chain and input my problem was "resolved". The last straw was an apology for closing the conversation before problem resolved and said their records showed my device was connected to my new Email and how do I wish to proceed. There is still no devices connected to my new email! I give up. But after reading all the streaming/buffering problems, I'm satisfied with my decision to cut them off at the neck. USELESS IDIOTS!

I upconverted 10 blu rays to be digital copies as part of promotion from VUDU. They charge $2 to convert a blu ray and $5 to convert a DVD. I converted my Matrix blu ray and I was charged $5. I contacted their customer support to ask for a $3 credit. They just kept asking me questions and never resolved my issue. First they wanted a picture of the blu ray case. Then, they wanted a picture of the blu ray disc itself. Which I think is crazy because they never ask for a disc for the other 9 I converted. It's like they thought I was lying. Plus, their customer support feature on their website and mobile is not responsive to a phone. I could not upload a picture from my phone, I had to login to my desktop. And from their website I was having problems pulling up support from my desktop. I was tired of jumping through hoops for $3. I won't be using their up convert feature again. Just a waste of time. I will stop buying my movies from them as well.

Bought Roku box. Got Vudu. Changed mind 2 minutes later. Didn'twant it. Was going to be charged $100 to NOT use it. Bad English speaker sez $100!. WTF.
Had to cancel credit card so wouldn't be changed Chump Fee. Rip off. Shoulda' read reviews first.

I have a code from Vudu which would not go through. I emailed Vudu cs and sent all the info they needed. I was told they would get back to me. When they did get back to me 2 days later they said that since they hadn't heard from me the case was closed. WTF?! Now they won't reply to my emails.

We purchased a few TV series over time and suddenly we were unable to stream any of the episodes from what we were watching. The trouble shooting involved internet and TV reconfiguration. I explained that we have no errors streaming with other apps, and that we were able to stream movies in VUDU at the same quality as the TV series but unable to stream TV series. The error seems to be with VUDU and they had no method of trouble shooting the error on their end. I requested a refund and was refunded for only one of the TV series we purchased.

So on my LG 4k TV this used to work. Now out of nowhere it never connects online, everything works fine but this garbage app. No response from my support request from vudu. I am about to call a lawyer. This is the worst scam I ever used. Must have spent a few hundred in the last couple months on movies and I can't even watch them. This app is the worst. DO NOT USE, YOU WILL REGRET WASTING YOUR MONEY. Even when it was working it would constantly log me off and I have to sign on again and again and again. No Joke you will regret this app 100%. You have been warned.

Won't refund an accidental purchase and I refuse to watch it. Terrible terrible movie. 20$ wasted for nothing. Should have never stopped using amazon.

Rented 1 movie. It buffered every 10 - 15 seconds. Checked same connection thru Netflix, everything ok. Ended up paying another $6 to watch it on direct TV. Don't waste your time or money

Just watched Batman and it took almost 3 hours because it keeps shutting off. Seeing these other comments at least lets me know that's the last movie I'll watch on this app. Joker service.

Used to love vudu. Rented a movie and didn't finish watching, but there was no grace for being 30 minutes outside the rental window. We have spent a lot of money with them and will not be anymore.

I got an account, but realized IT SUCKS, so like any normal movie site, I thought it would be an easy unsubscribe. NOPE. They've taken my money for MONTHS NOW, because the only way to unsubscribe is to email them. First off, I haven't had a single response from their support email that you're supposed to email when you want to stop using their program. I have emailed them at least once a week because my card has been being CHARGED WITHOUT MY CONTROL. I cannot do it myself, and I cannot remove my card. They are simply stealing from me. STILL. STAY AWAY THEY ARE $#*! HOLES.

DONT USE THE SITE

Products used:
Their service is $#*!, their value, well you pay for the site but nothing is free on there everything you have to rent or buy. The quality sucks, I tried watching ONE movie but it was impossible.

Had an issue redeeming a movie weeks ago, constantly being told it's been escalated to The Highest Level of Support, yet nothing is happening, WEEKS just to get a digital code redeemed, and still do not have it. EVERYONE who works there, and that works in customer Support should be ashamed of their lives and jobs because they help no one or nothing. WHAT A WASTE.

Scam. Deceptive advertising. The terms of service state they own your information and can sell/trade/give it away at will. They make it impossible to close account. You've been warned.

If they don't recognize your email, and they typically won't, they will DEMAND a PayPal receipt number (which means you have to terminate the call to look one up and wait another 20 minutes to find a COMPENTENTENT person, sometimes called a "Supervisor"). OR, they will ask for your credit card # so they can bill you again. Then, when calling back, they have no idea what you're talking about and you have to re-produce the same scenario you spent the past half hour talking to them about.
Seems they intentionally make it difficult to contact them. By the way, the last time I asked to speak to a supervisor, that person became abusive and belligerent. These people MUST be part of some sort of crime syndicate, or, if they're acting on their own, they are doing so without ANY regard for their customers. I'd be willing to join a class-action suit against these monsters.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER
I purchased 3 seasons of Big Bang Theory in February. They were supposed to include the digital copy on the receipt from Walmart; it did not. When I first contacted customer service they responded rapidly, once they got my proof that I did in fact make the purchase I claimed, well customer service suddenly became nonexistent. No matter how many time I contact them I have yet to hear any further response! All I want is my digital codes or my money back! This is absolutely ridiculous and I will from now on make all my purchases through Amazon!
