The only pair of the right shade of soft pink delicate rimmed European glasses broke. I found the closest match online & at the uncrowded Florida WP store. Polite well trained staff. They had onsite eye testing. Free shipping to NewYork Warby Parker plz. Make lightweight pouches for your glasses. Your glass boxes are unreasonably heavy. Im guessing for shipment. End cost for a fresh custom pair$145
I paid over $300.00 for a pair of glasses, and in less than one year the glasses are all scratched up. When I called the customer service they told me they are guarenteed for 6 months. I find that unacceptable. I will now take my business somewhere else.
I ordered eyeglasses from Warby Parker's local store and they messed the first order wherein the left lens was not the right prescription which was exactly what I had with my five year old glasses, so I returned it back. I went back to the same store and brought my own doctor's for a new eyeglass. I selected the frame and and told the associate what I wanted. After the final review I asked the associate if everything that I wanted was indicated for this order. When I received the new eyeglass I noticed that it was not light sensitive (photochronic) as I wanted, so I went back to the store to complained and was informed that the associate who assisted me missed it. The irony I was told is that I have to pay for the missed photochronic lens for the amount of additional one hundred dollars otherwise it won't be processed unless I pay the amount they asked me. I'm so disappointed on how a customer have to pay for someone's mistake. Stay away from Warby Parker. All they want is more money they can get from customers. Beware.

Make you pay for expedited shipping for contacts then send only one set of the contacts and later claim the other eye is out of stock (two weeks later!) won't refund the shipping or the order!
My review only pertains to ordering contact lenses through Warby Parker, as I have never ordered glasses through this site. The ordering process was "okay" (admittedly 1-800-Contacts is smoother and faster). And I didn't have any issues with the products until after a month or so. One of the contact lenses was defective, and I called to receive a replacement. I initially spent over 40 minutes on the phone with a representative who took a while to "check on my issue" only to come back and say that there was nothing to be done other than a discount on a future order. This response was unacceptable to me, so I asked to speak with a supervisor to discuss the issue further. After waiting on hold for another 20 minutes, the call was cut off. When I called back, I briefly explained the issue and that I was waiting to speak with a supervisor. I was then connected with a supervisor who right away apologized for the miscommunication and explained that there actually IS a policy to replace defective items at no charge. This resolution only took about 15 minutes to solve. The lesson I learned was to always speak directly with a supervisor when you have an issue with a product. Save yourself the time speaking with an inexperienced representative who can't help you.
I ordered a pair of glasses for someone as a Christmas gift. The shipping is a total nightmare. I got an email on December 9th with a tracking number saying they had shipped. After that, there was no update for over a week. Then, on December 19th there was an update saying it was leaving the facility. If it didn't leave the facility until the 19th, they why did I get an email on the 9th saying it had shipped?
The best thing of all is that the shipping isn't even the worst part! The glasses finally arrived on Christmas Eve afternoon so I scrambled to wrap them and put them under the tree. The recipient opened them up on Christmas morning only to discover that the glasses Warby Parker sent me where broken. One of the lenses was not secured in the frames and was falling out. It is extremely disappointing to know that Warby Parker does not inspect or do any sort of quality control before they ship their glasses to their customers.
They are sending me a replacement pair, but they did not even offer me expedited shipping for my troubles. I had to ask them to send it that way because I didn't want to have to deal with waiting another 3-4 weeks to get them.
It goes without saying that Warby Parker has lost a customer. I will not ever order anything from them again.
They promised a replacement pair of prescription sunglasses and sent a pair of reading glasses. When I called to go over the order they wanted another $100 to order them.

Ordered a pair of glasses last year for one daughter. Ordered a pair this year for another daughter. Great, friendly customer service, perfect glasses for both girls. Highly recommend!
I have to admit that I absolutely love the look of the Warby Parker sunglasses. I bought two pairs, one for myself and one for my husband. Getting the sample box was very cool, and customer service was excellent.
However, it wasn't apparent until wearing them for a few days that you realize that the glasses don't really fit that well on your head. They flare out and don't hug your head. See attached picture, with regular glasses on the bottom and Warny Parker glasses on the top of the photo. You have to constantly push the glasses up the bridge of your nose because they keep slipping down If you lean forward, they will fall off. Glasses should sort of hug the side of your head a little bit. But these actually flare out wider than your head. We were both on a boat and a gust of wind came and blew our glasses off our head and into the water.
I wish WP could make sunglasses that have the same cool look but that actually hug the side of your head in a normal way. These were Percy and Durand style glasses. Not sure if other styles fit better.
First, they don't sell glasses with lenses for people over 40, so if you need a typical adult pair like of bifocals or reading glasses you're out of luck.
I did, however, want to get a set of prescription sunglasses, and the cheap price enough of an incentive to take a chance. The first problem I had was the order form only saved half of my prescription, and there's no way for you to edit it once its been entered. When I called on the phone they were nice, but didn't really know how to go about fixing the problem.
I eventually got my glasses, but the quality level was disappointing. If you can imagine sticking the cheapest possible Chinese-made lenses into a frame from a gas-station it wouldn't be far off. My previous prescription sunglasses were Oakleys, and the quality difference from both the frame and lens are very noticeable.
In short, Warby Parker is selling the cheapest possible glasses using great web design and PR, but the product itself falls short. If you want to buy online instead of in a store then http://www.zennioptical.com has the some thing for $13 instead of $125.
My wife and I went to the local store to order glasses right before Christmas. We both use the same eye doctor. The next day, my wife got an email that they had her prescription and here glasses were being made. I got an email that they couldn't get my prescription and i need to get it and email it to them. After the holidays, I got my prescription with zero issues and followed their instructions for emailing it to them. In the meantime my wife gets her glasses with no issues and it completely happy. I'm waiting and waiting. All the status on the website says is Processing. There was no other information but crazy me thinks they are processing my order. After a couple of weeks I reach out to customer service. They were very helpful but said they had never received my prescription. So I re-sent it and the customer service person makes sure it gets in the system and processing. I'm frustrated that there was not enough information from the company (either communication or status in their online system) for me to know there was an issue. Not sure what would have happened if I just kept waiting and trying to be patient. Hopefully I get them in 14 days when they say I should expect them.
They don't make it easy. Consider carefully before ordering glasses this way because it might be easier. It isn't.
1. The sample order of five frames wouldn't go through because their system insisted zip code was incorrect. It wasn't. The chat rep was beyond useless. The phone rep wasn't any better. I gave up that night and tried the next day on my PC and had better luck getting the order to go through.
2. Their Order process doesn't allow multiple prescriptions for an order. They don't tell you this. Chat useless again. A long phone call later, the rep was very helpful but this shouldn't have been necessary, and the rep had to re-do the order. Long and tedious order process.
3. Get ready for the ‘pupillary distance' journey and resulting delays. Oh my, we're following their instructions to the letter and am on cycle SIX of this process. Seriously. I'm having flashbacks to the zip code debacle of our try five order.
What an enormous waste of time! Quick, easy, efficient? Fail, fail, fail.
Tip for consumers:
Shop local where you can get face to face service and avoid the many hassles we experienced here.
This was simply a bad choice. Don’t do it.

What I tried on in the store and what I got in the mail were not the same frames. They use a much cheaper version to fulful orders. I feel duped but they would not refund.
WARBY PARKER SUCKS!
BE WARNED.
I drank the koolaid and went to Warby Parker for glasses. You know, the $95 glasses. Then it changed to $295 as soon as I asked for blended lenses. So. 300 % increase. Not today.
I ordered a pair of glasses from Warby Parker only because they told me I could get 2 day expedited shipping for $50 extra. I gladly paid paid the extra $50 as I lost my glasses and was in desperate need. Ordered on a Wednesday and was promised Friday 2 day delivery. Looked up my order online on Thursday and saw that the $50 and expedited order had changed. Called customer service and was told that due to a "miscommunication" the lenses that I ordered were not available for this option. However, I was never emailed or contacted that my order had changed. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that the supervisor would not be able to fix this and that the glasses would be shipped when ready. The supervisor was apologetic and admitted that they dropped the ball and gave me a refund for the extra shipping charge and an additional discount for my trouble and promised to expedite the order. However called today Tuesday and was told my order was about to be completed and would shipped in a few days. I asked what a few days means and was told a couple of days... Poor sales as they initially sold me on 2 day shipping, poor customer service as there was no correspondence about the order change, and poor customer service concerning the shipping date. An extremely aggravating experience
$275 to replace a single lens with nonprescription glass. They charge you to replace BOTH lenses, because that's how they do it they told me. Rip off.
Each year my eyesight deteriorates. Each year I need new glasses. Each year glasses become more expensive. This year even insurance wouldn't cover the full price of glasses at the optometrist (or any glasses store near me). So shopping online was the only option left. Several companies wouldn't or couldn't accommodate the lenses needed for my prescription. Warby Parker didn't blink. Yep, we can do it. So, after trying on (at home!) 10 pairs of glasses, I found exactly what I wanted, took a deep breath, and ordered. When the glasses arrived I was fully prepared for the ‘get used to them' stage that always accompanies new glasses. Slipping on the glasses was a joy. They fit perfectly. They looked great. There was no ‘getting used to them' stage. My sight was clear, the progressive lenses didn't make me slightly nauseous or create momentary depth perception difficulties. Oh, and I submitted the bilI to my insurance. Fully covered! I could not be happier. Next year Warby Parker will be making my new glasses.
Tip for consumers:
Use Warby Parker’s customer service as often as you think you need to even if the question seems minor to you. They walked me through ordering a difficult prescription and the process of insurance submission. They patiently, professionally answered every concern even when I was asking for the second or third time. It made for a comfortable and confident transaction.

Its really very good product and i really happy with it. It quality is really amazing and now its my regular sunglass. The sunglasses price is really very cheap compare to other sunglasses.
I work full time in the medical field so there is only a small window in my days to make it to the store to buy glasses. I went online and picked 5 pairs and they came within a few days. I liked about 3 out of 5 pairs, only 1 pair felt on the cheap side. Since I could keep the try on ones for 5 days I actually wore a few out with contacts just to really try them out which was kinda fun. I returned them after the 5 days and ordered the pair I wanted online, it was super easy only took a minute to upload my script. The glasses came about 7 days after ordering them. They came in the cutest box and a nice case with a cloth. I ended up accidentally ordering the wide pair instead of the narrow pair so they were way to big. I called the number online, they rep ordered me new ones right away and told me If I wanted I could keep the glasses that are to big until I receive the ones that will fit me better. The entire phone call to get this fixed only took about 2 minutes, by the time I hung up the phone I had two emails one with a new order confirmation and one with the return label. I honestly couldn't be happier with my experience. I was a little skeptical at first but I will definitely be ordering from them again. Also they state on their website to file a claim if they don't take your insurance, I didn't believe they actually would but my insurance company actually did end up reimbursing me $65.
After my first experience in the store, I raved about it. Since then the hype has settled.
(+) AFFORDABLE, and the price is really as stated
(+) Found website design clean and easy to navigate
(+) called customer service twice, both times were helpful and knowledgeable
(+) limited upsell or pushiness from sales representatives in the store
(+) cute selection of frames. These are the first pair ever that I will willingly wear outside the house.
(+) out of network with my insurance (VSP), but I still got $95 of $125 reimbursed
(+) ordered my frames from a store on Dec 14th and they were delivered within 8 days.
(+) I was extremely skeptical of the 'algorithm' that selected frames for me at home try-on, but went with it anyway. I ended up choosing frames in-store and turns out the two I liked in-store were selected for me in the 'home try-on' option!
(-) brick & mortar stores are not available near me; I really like the option of visiting the store to get glasses adjusted, to select frames, to return frames, etc.
(-) I needed my frames adjusted... but got this done at my eye doctor's for FREE in 10 minutes. Warby Parker will reimburse up to a certain value for this, as well.
(-) frames are definitely not as sturdy as my others. Seem much more fragile and prone to breaking.
(-) makes me nervous that I could be liable if the home try-on pairs are lost in the shipping process!
Their glasses are too nerdy lookin, something a rich french model would wear, too bulky and none of their glasses are fit for normal everyday people. Just not my taste and they are very expensive
They are unskilled
Just dumping
Inanity and lack of acknowledgment of their error
Having salespeople walk around with iPads does not help me with the wrong glasses
I wanted to love Warby Parker, but when my glasses finally arrived, it was the wrong frame. More waiting is in my future. Very disappointing.
None of their glasses fit my face, but I appreciated the opportunity to be able to try them on and see for myself before purchasing.
Love the way these glasses look, a little on the pricier side but still great quality! Super easy to order and try as well :)
