So convenient! The number of parking tickets I receive due to not having change on hand has decreased significantly! However, there are a few bugs in the new version. Sometimes, it won't allow me to select the desired end time.

https://gofund.me/4ba92661 I just started a goFundMe to start a class action against way.com. They sold a parking spot they don't have and offered much far away one an hour before the reservation through email. They argued that it is an 'upgrade' in the email, and then said they offered 'comparable'. Original parking lot was less than a mile away, while the offered one was 6 mile away. My flight was in 1 and a half hour from departure when I found what they did. Please join me to fight against this frauds.

Ridiculous! I'd used Ways.com for years. Never again! I paid for 2 weeks of parking in Oakland. Had to return after 4 days. Oh well. No compromise! No partial refunds! So, I figured that I can book for one day and then extend your stay daily. I hate game-playing. I hate no compromise travel businesses! I feel betrayed, frustrated, and ripped off! Just be aware! Don't want the same to happen to you.

I'm developer. Once you have set this up, it's so easy to use. Park and pay via the app. Check the app to see when your parking expires, then simply extend. This for me is the future of parking. Not added another car park yet, so don't know how easy it is to do. Excellent way to learn of events and register and promote. Use this literally every day! On the rare occasion it goes down or gives an error message I actually panic. When I venture into boroughs that don't use Way I curse their inefficiency!

This app is phenomenal! It sends me reminders that I need to add time or hurry up and finish what I'm doing. In addition - no receipts to carry, I have multiple cards on file for personal or business expenses, and the receipts come via email! But the single best thing about this - I don't have to wait for the meter/station to take care of my transaction. 90% of the times I parked and then tried to pay, it took way too long - and then, half the time the transaction didn't even go through! The people you have on phone duty are wonderful! Thanks!

I would have given 0 star if there was an option. Please avoid using way.com because their associated parking companies are not quality companies, and they jacked up the customer reviews, which is so misleading. Compare the attached two reviews, one from way.com and another groupon.com for the same parking company.

Awesome for a movie lover like me. Love that you can build up to free movies. Prices are okay for now a days anyway. Refunds and cancellations are easy. Love no lines and accurate times. The convenience fee is a little inconvenient, but it keeps track of all my rewards etc. like a champ.

Buyer beware. Do not use this service. They offer discounted parking for big events with garages who can not accommodate your car. We recently attended a concert and after 3 hours of driving, we're unable to pull into the garage because they closed before our concert was over, yet the concert we attended was listed in the app as being one they provided parking services for. Now they won't refund our money. This is stealing and 100% false advertising

This is a fabulous app that I've used for a couple of years - Primarily in San Francisco, but other locations as well. It pays the meter, alerts me when the time grows short and even lets me add money to meter while participating in a meeting.

Awesome It's really detailed and has a lot of things nearby... it's not like an internet search for what's happening when and they just tell u the popular stuff but they even have the small underground cool things that you would like based on your interests... anything and everything. Love it! Can even add it to your calendar directly from the app

I reserved one month of parking at SFO in September 2023. They advertised $9.75 per day but when
I submitted the charge it came though at $12.00 per day plus a $75.00 service charge, about $130 more than I agreed to. I tried to call them but after several hours of trying with no one picking up the phone I finally gave up

They make it seem like you and a friend each get a $100, but you don't. We followed all the rules on the offer page and didn't get what we were promised. After an agent talked down to me a manager more politely explained that I would not be getting the $100 because my friend purchased gas, which didn't count and referred me to their terms and conditions which were not linked to the offer, on a different page. Ironically, gas is one of the things that does qualify us in their own terms. But even if it gave us the "$100" it would only be a credit applied in very small amounts to future purchases so there was almost no way to actually get the $100. Don't fall for this misleading and dishonest offer.

I arrived at the La Quinta Inn in Costa Mesa and the person at the front desk told my wife there was no airport parking there.
I did not feel safe leaving my vehicle somewhere where staff don't know what is going on. I called to get a refund and both the customer service person and manager were like robots just repeating that they can't issue a refund because the hotel desk person did not turn us away.
Park your car somewhere where the employees know what's going on.

You get what you pay for a crappy customer service.

It's a great way to make money for Way.com. When a flight gets cancelled or sickness hits and you are dealing with many things at one time - having to lose over $50 because the rule states that cancellations must be made 24 hrs before the parking time seems like a scam. Sometimes you don't have the time to cancel. I will never use them again. Just a scam.

Tip for consumers:
They could at least let people use the credit for parking at a later date.

DO NOT BOOK. I booked airport parking off site with a shuttle to and from the airport. Once I arrived at the location, I was told by the hotel staff that they do not have an airport shuttle and those websites know it. I ended up having to park at the airport and lost $40 due to way.com. I requested a cancellation 5 minutes after my start time and way.com would not give me a refund due to policy. They also stated that they are not liable for shuttles and therefore CANNOT be responsible if the location has one or not, even though it is stated in their description.

Seriously this is terrible customer service and I should have known better than to use a random website. Save yourself the trouble and book direct with a parking location or other.

I made a reservation through Way for parking at a hotel that Way indicates as a partner in airport off-site parking.
I paid in advance, received a confirmation number and invoice.
When I arrived at the hotel i took my confirmation/paid invoice in to ask if there was a special place i needed to park. The manager informed me they are not part of any parking program on the Way site or any other. That they never have.
I attempted to contact Way while i was at the hotel desk but was in a hold line.
I could not continue to hold as I now needed to find other parking and get to the airport.
Attempted another call, long waits, and decided to do a on-line chat. After numerous question: email, phone, confirmation…. As soon as i gave the problem and request for reimbursement the connection was lost. BEWARE

I just found out today that you only can get the refund to the original payment when you cancel it with the customer support via online chat. If you do it on your end (the easy way out), the refund would become way bucks, which means you have to come back to use it. Way.com basically hold the money as hostage!

I didn't know this at all. When you cancel it online, they didn't give you this option, it is either "way buck" or "no I don't want to cancel it".

I will never used way.com again. There is lots of other parking app out there with a decent business practice.

Tip for consumers:
If you want the refund back to original payment method, chat online. Don't cancel it on your own.

Some lots do accept but poor customer service, not worth it. Junk. Charges make it worse than short term parking. Inconvenient and usu need to pay a taxi to get back to airport since >80% if the lots don't even know there is this scam relationship

Great App. What it does for me and other users is amazing. No more need to run back to the parking meter or pay station. The text message alerts are useful. The only thing to watch out is when the network is not working or available. Sometimes one needs to turn off wifi and use one's data to connect.

They locked the key inside the car. They then pried open the door to retrieve it. Never took responsibility. Damage was $300. Took them to court. These thieves didn't bother to show up. Judge ruled in my favor. I'm still waiting to be compensated. Go elsewhere. Not worth the aggravation and the damages they will cause.

Stay away. They will damage your car!

Way.com is a SCAM. I tried parking and there was a chain across the driveway of the lot. I almost missed my flight. I can't get a refund. You cannot speak to a live person, which is convenient for them, but not their customers. If you want to miss your flight, then by all means, go ahead and use their services.

They had my credit card on file from a previous transaction. I was looking for new airport parking for a few days and they force you to add a parking lot to your cart to see the actual cost (which is quite different from the initial daily cost that they list, a "bait and switch" tactic). I didn't want to proceed with the final option that was added to my cart, and therefore closed the browser window. They ended up charging me for it nonetheless! I didn't authorize the charge, but still charged me. And they didn't send me an email confirmation telling me they charged me. Incredible that we have a company like this doing business who relies on scams to make their income. I hate that a fraudulent company like this is continuing to conduct business. The leadership needs to get a beat down.

We purchased parking in Miami for a cruise. However, we discovered that the address provided in the Way app was incorrect and led to a closed road with no parking. We made several attempts to contact the garage using the phone number provided via the Way app. When we finally reached a live person, we were informed that they do not accept Way Parking vouchers. Consequently, we had to pay double the price for parking at the seaport, rendering the parking voucher we paid for unusable.
I attempted to explain the situation to one of your representatives, but they were dismissive and refused to refund our money. I recently returned to the app and now they've labeled it ordered cancelled and refund processed. ALL lies! I have not been refunded any money. I've emailed them and they have not responded. We paid for an unusable service and were not provided with accurate information to allow us to utilize it. This is FRAUD! STAY AWAY use other companies like Spot Hero

Few tics and niggles, but nothing resembling Way yet. It's a great little app, with localisation as its USP. I wish that the push to select one's interests were more gradual. Also, a peer level vetting of events advertised/ posted in the events column would add to the reliability of the app.

Bait and Switch! You will pay whatever rate they want- the advertised rate is the lowest of the month- NOT what you will pay. I was charged 3x as much. Be very wary. No refunds as they state "you may be charged different rate".

I had a similar experience to many of the reviewers. I paid $47 for a few days of parking near the airport, but when I arrived early in the morning the lot was dark with no open entrance, and no one answered the phone number posted outside the gates. We spent 10 minutes driving around the perimeter trying to find an entrance (even a pedestrian one) and could not find one. We almost missed our flight and when we found another lot down the street, the couple in front of us had had the exact same experience not being able to access the lot in question. I immediately informed Way.com and they have refused to refund my money. Shamelessly bad customer service, total fraud of a company.
