Customer service is awesome. Love the templates provided and how easy it is to create a wesbite.
Help is available 24/7. The site design is 9 out of 10. I have been with another web designer, and Web.com is more user friendly. I would like to see availability for my email on the left side menu when I first sign in.
I received a good price from them for my website, and now I know why. I had an issue getting my site registered with Google's search engine. I called web.com's tech support for help and was told if I wanted to register my website with any search engines I would have to but another service from them at a monthly cost MUCH higher then the website. So basically they sold me a car with no engine. If I were you, I'd find a reputable company to do business with. Unfortunately I paid 2 years in advance for a website I can't do anything with. It's sad that the law let's companies get away with ripping people off.

Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks
Incredibly user-friendly interface. The variety of templates and additional features greatly enhance the experience. The convenience of obtaining a domain through the same platform is a huge plus.
I have numerous requests from last week that have yet to be done.
This site was literally created by junior devs. Theres absolutely no multifunctional properties or videos online about it. All the references are horrible in the help section along with the customer service. I would never make a website for myself on this site. Thankfullly I'm a dev for someone else. Get the framework right and then work down from there
Customer I'm working for chose it
I asked to have my domain transferred. I received several messages that action was needed, with the action being that the domain hadn't existed for long enough. Having never received the superpower that allows me to speed up time, I waited for the 60-day mark. And when we hit that, I received a notice that the transfer request had failed.
BECAUSE I WANT MY DOMAIN TRANSFER COMPLETED, AND ASSOCIATED EMAIL ADDRESSES FUNCTIONAL.
Web.com made a typo on my email address. Now they want me to provide a notarized statement, id and a utility bill to change their mistake. This is terrible customer service! Just fix your mistake and don't waste my time!
I really am questioning why.
I am frustrated that I have paid so much money to design a mobile friendly website for our new business. After a month of back and forth trying to fix simple issues (a logo that is readable, and odd text wrapping), I am still no closer to my goal. I have submitted several revision requests, most of which have gone unanswered. Designer tells me that it is a known issue with their design software. What really gets me is that Web.com is soliciting more money from me for their "website analysis" to make my site mobile friendly-they gave it a score of 55. This business practice is offensive. I shouldn't have to spend more to get exactly what I asked for in the beginning. The software should be able to handle a mobile friendly site...to indicate that it can't is scummy marketing.
I am really disappointed in Web.com. There are many errors in the website builder software. For example, it will not allow me to update the colors in a color palate. Also, I have made selections on the Blog settings but it does not recognize the new selections--it keeps reverting back to the old settings. Also, it refuses to allow the very simple Title HTML tag that I am trying to add. I used to be an HTML programmer and want to put tiny little tags on my pages. The HTML editor does not recognize the Title tag! I would like to get out of the website builder and have more control over my website. Web.com has totally closed off any real customization so I'm stuck with a website that looks like it was built from a template! I'll probably dump the website and re-do it on a hosting company that let's me build it the way I want it to look. There is a lot more that is wrong with Web.com, but these are the primary points.
Because I have used Web.com in the past. Big mistake to think that it is as good today as it was 15 years ago!
Horrible service! They deleted my website and email even after I told them I was moving domains first. They did this out of pure spite because I was leaving and it is unethical business practices. web.com is making the transfer of my domains take longer as well. If I do not get these web domains transferred to my new account at bluehost by tomorrow, I am calling my attorney.
I don't know why I ever chose web.com. Horrible service!
Bought website design service full package and haven't been able to post live. Customer service continuously tells me 48 hours. It's been 1.5 months. I regret web.com. I lost business because of the service and will not recommend it
Very good! Very organized and i can move around easily.
Because I've been using it for my business and its very good.
I've had four different websites with web.com. The customer care and design quality has decreased in my eyes. My new website is not completed yet and I am paying for monthly design services for two. One is the old website and the second is the upgraded version which was horrible at first glance. I made an appointment to continue designing it but noone ever called me. I went into my account to try and finish it myself but a notice said I had been screen sharing for the new design and it had been turned off. So now I am saddled with paying for two sites at the same time. The old and the upgrade. I called to complain but still have not heard back. You are about to lose my business for good. I do not like web.com any more. I've truly had enough. You've become a big company and left us original folk behind.
Connection issue with Google workspace is not working at all. It took me more than 20 days and it is still not resolved yet. It is a horrible experience. On the other hand, Website builder program is good.
Brand reputation and competitive price.
The customer service has been terrible! I have been locked out of my account countless times over the course of a month and almost every time I have remained locked out for days due to customer service not being able to resolve the problem. I have lost a lot of valuable time and I have been forced to push back the launch date of my website.
I initially chose web.com because I felt they were offering a great service and I liked the builder software. Had I not already invested so much time into the build I would have absolutely cancelled my service after all of these problems.
Although I have enjoyed using it, the Ux requires so many buttons to press to get to the website editor that it has been a lot more work than if I had gone with Wix.com
Because I have already purchased it
This has been the worst experience and I am canceling my service. I only get a response from your staff once I have decided not to renew my service with your company. Everyone who needs a website can not afford the enormous fees that you want to charge to build the site and opt for the more affordable one, but that does not mean that we should not be entitled to great customer service!
There were a lot of unexpected problems that came up during the process of building my website. Some help is very helpful and some is not knowledgeable enough. I'm in Australia and the phone assistance service doesn't work for me.
I thought its developer was google
Web.com provided me with a satisfactory range of services for my website needs. While the website builder was easy to use, customer support and billing practices could be improved. Overall, it offered decent options for establishing an online presence.
To grow my business
I paid for EVERYTHING for a year. Now I'm being billed 2.50 per month for SSL. Customer service was Rude and didn't resolve my issue. The web builder is also glitchy and difficult.
It was a rocky start, but access to all the features is now working!
Thank you for restoring my faith in your role in providing the proper tools available to begin the project.
Thank you again.
In general great price could be better price in ssl
Prices, platform service, intuiteve
Purchased on 12/3 hoping to migrate from Bluehost to Web.com. It's been a month and a half and my custom website still cant be published. I keep getting told it takes 48 hours. Here we are 1/14 and its still not up
With my domain transfer needing to meet the time requirements you sent me regular emails until 2 days before the transfer was eligible for transfer and then sent me an email saying that my request timed out and I would have to "purchase" a new request. None of the links on that email directed me to valid web pages.
Used to have a Start Logic account. That service was great, but I guess was consumed by web.com. I'm hoping I can eventually like this service too.
Chat support has been robotic. I ended up here due to a mistake on my part that in hindsight feels like it might have been shady (I was looking for hostgator's web builder and somehow opened an account here). The web builder is okay but not as flexible or easy to use as I was expecting for the price. The user interface for the account is confusing and opaque. Instead of being supported I feel like at every turn I'm just being sold something. Sometimes when I try to log in it says my username or password is incorrect and there is no link to rectify that, but if I try to log in in a different window with the same credentials it works. (yes I'm sure I'm on web.com in both cases) Generally annoying and unhelpful...but I'm trapped by all the time I spend building my site here that would be lost if I moved because (I think) different hosting services would use incompatible builders that wouldn't let me modify my sites.
Got tricked into it.
