Customer service is awesome. Love the templates provided and how easy it is to create a wesbite.
Help is available 24/7. The site design is 9 out of 10. I have been with another web designer, and Web.com is more user friendly. I would like to see availability for my email on the left side menu when I first sign in.
web.com wanted to charge me $2800 to fill out a template and not following my instructions. I could have done what they did in less than an hour. web.com DOES NOT offer professional services. Buyer beware.
I came back here to check on things that I'm charged for. I need to secure that there are no services charged to me that I refuse to pay for.
This website is hard to maneuver around its hard to put spacing and panels in and put pictures headings text where you want them this site is difficult so I do not recommend it
I don't know
Some stuff is fine, other items are not as expected. LIke no exchange hosting and the types of templates available are not up to my liking.
I really have no choice to use you until my domain hosting and email hosting can be moved to somebody who does exchange
BEWARE! There's no way to cancel your account through your online profile, or remove payment information. I tried to cancel through the chat online and confirm all my account info only to be told I had to call the loyalty team during call hours to stop payment for a service I don't use. Stay away at all costs! Wasted quite a bit of money due to this inconvenience. Great way to make money, terrible way to do business and build trust. Would never consider doing business with them again and warn everyone I know not to use them.

Website page creation.
Not intuitive. Hours and hours with very little to show. Trying to do anything outside the cookie cutter fill in the blank is frustrating. However, last time I had someone do my site for me and that was frustrating, as well, I had to pass any edits through them. I hope as I work with this it will get better. I have yet to find anything actually helpful from their help, though!
I am an artist but not a tech. I want a site that I can personalize and post on, sell through and edit myself. It looked good?
The blocks are cumbersome. I am trying to showcase a gallery, and there is a lot I don't seem to be able to do
Fed up with my old site, and I was directed to web.com by go daddy
I have been trying since February to get my website completed.
Alas, we did not go on this page until AFTER our negative experience with Web.com. We were promised a rate of $2.95 -- and since we designed the website ourselves, there was little beyond domain hosting that they provided. Month #2 our rate jumped to $32.95 -- without warning or explanation. Beware. These folks are fraudulent.

I have purchased the private website setting so my contact info is hidden but it has been sent out to who knows what lists. I am getting 20-30 calls a day from people trying to sell me web-relate services. I called web.com agent and there is nothing they could do. Incredibly frustrating.
I was unhappy with editing. Font, colors sizing inconsistent. Help line suggested clearing cookies and cache. Much better. Also need to use only Chrome browser.
Would be nice if I could maintain format when copy and paste from document.
Help person said improved edit out in few months. Hope more like Microsoft font edits.
Letting them take care of this project will save me more than 10 hours a month. (smiling)
The team is very thorough and I am excited ed to see what they come up with.
It took a while to go through my website I made and make sure they knew who WE are.
- Phone support was impossible to get through to, the automated answering machine need updating.
- Online support is full of good employees doing their best. Yet, many of them were not technical enough to truly help solve the problem I had. I spent 6 hours with support only to find that someone finally noticed a mis-type in our IP address... after id previously asked a different support person to confirm we had typed it right.
- Page weight is too heavy, all the loading of our site is slow and makes it look tacky.
- The UI of creating the site is nice. But actually getting it published and dealing with the technical side of things was a nightmare. You need better, more clear instructions for setting up a custom domain and for SSL certificates. Instead of just constantly trying to sell me things I don't need.
I chose web.com because I was using it for a pre-existing site a different client had me work on.
I don't normally write reviews, but Frances H, a web consultant is truly gifted, walked me through every stage of the process, helped me to clarify my company's strengths, and deserves to be recognized. Awesome.
Scott M., thank you for your kind review; we are happy to pass along your comments to the team here at Web.com! If you ever need anything else from us, please feel free to give us a call. Have an awesome day!^LS
I signed up 6 weeks ago on a 3 month program at over $1,000.00 per month. I've received 3 or 4 clicks, all of which fail to produce a useful lead, let alone new business. The first day I agreed to to sign they spent 25% my monthly ad budget just to force through a quick lead (which was not useful). This was before I even had a set up meeting with their staff to define the leads I was interested in. When I log into my account management page I see that there is literally nothing there for me to manage, no mechanism to change my contact or billing information. I'm sure they don't want you having access to your billing information because they know you'll delete it. I can't get same day customer service in my introductory period without calling a generic phone number. They refuse to give you direct contact info for your assigned account manager. I can hardly imagine how bad it gets later. Stay away.
Hey Eric - we're sorry to hear you didn't receive the results you expected, and would be happy to investigate what went wrong. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at mbenson@web.com, and I'd be happy to assist.^MB
There is apparently an error where I'm unable to use WordPress that's been purchased. The support article doesn't match what I see on my Dashboard. I put in a ticket a week ago and haven't heard back.
I'm a web developer and my client purchased web.com and wordpress package before contacting me.
My credit card was changed, so web.com dropped my web site after 8 years without notice! It has been down for a couple of weeks while tech "support" gives me a run-around about getting it back up. Promising to reply within one business day for the past week +. Now I have given up on support and am trying to recreate my site on the new platform. Stay tuned --- don't know if this is even going to work.
Hey James,
We will be reaching out soon!

I've been building websites, since 1996. The tools a cumbersome, clumsy, and not as intuitive, compared to Adobe. I'm resorting to experimenting w/copy pasting HTML, to make things easier. Perhaps it is just my learning curve (Ok, Boomer!), but the frustration with inability to simply move, boxes around, is real.
I had no say in the matter This is what the company chose.
Signed up and was advised I would be getting a custom website. They charged me $800 for a template website, which templates only cost $25 and the pictures they plug-in are anywhere between $3- $10. They are very miss leading and ARE NOT transparent. They express unlimited modifications NOT true! I received maybe 3 modifications per month. I paid them because I did not have time to put into building my own website. It was imported for me to focus on my product. Needless to say, after 3 months of back and forth with their rude modification team, my website never went live, so I cancelled. If your looking for a template website try Godaddy or Spotify. Contract a web developer for around $350, you'll get better results and save money at the same time! Web.com you guys really should be shame of yourself for being so miss leading!
Hey Chaunte, we appreciate you taking the time to leave another review. We did research your experience further. During the sales call, there was no discussion of custom or template sites it was more based on timeframe and options for after. We did find coaching opportunities for your sales specialist related to the timeframe of the draft being provided and how the process of switching to hosting works. We see that every time modifications were placed the team did address them and there were multiple, there is not a cap there. We do feel there may have been trouble communicating ideas. The team was trying to understand your ideas but were unable to align with your vision to create the website you had in mind. For that, we apologize we were unable to deliver that blueprint of your business site that you had imagined. We pride ourselves on being able to work with clients to get the website right and we understand we were unable to do that here. We wish you nothing but the best and hope you have found someone that provides you the vision you deserve. We hope you have a great day!
Josh was really knowledgeable and helpful. He easily lead us through everything necessary. I would recommend Network Solutions to anyone and if you are lucky enough to get Josh they will have an excellent experience such as we had.
Very little explanation upon purchasing service. Had to call back in today. Was told the issue was with godaddy, but turns out there was a step not done on YOUR site to get my emails entered. Stop passing the buck and just help people.
Hi Kym,
Oh no! It's unfortunate to hear this happened with our support team. Thank you for your feedback.

They sold me an advertising on social media, said it was not a contract and could cancel at anytime.
The price was £395 per month, which is steep for a small business like mine. This was early nov 2020, once the ad went live, I wasnt too impressed and emailed the sales lady and web.com to cancel once the. Month had ended.
They have taken 3 x payments £395 and a £480 initial payment in Nov.
I have emailed all the email address I can find and tried calling several times. But with no luck.
They are using my card details to take the money.
Dont take any extra advertising off them. Am furious.
Hi Julie, we are disappointed to read your review. Unfortunately, there are not enough details for us to locate your account. We would like the opportunity to investigate further and facilitate any support you may need. Please email listen@web.com with Sitejabber Review in the subject line. Include your account details so we may locate the one you are referencing and if you have a moment any screenshots of the emails that you sent so we may follow up on those as well. We look forward to hearing from you and hope this message finds you well.
Terrible customer service. They will take your money and half-$#*! deliver on their word. Then, when you call in to complain NOBODY CARES. I've literally had to ask them to transfer me to someone that cares. Their customer service sucks, the SEO department is incompetent, tech support may as well be non existent. But the accounting/billing, those people are good. They never seem to fail when it came to taking the $100 a month out of my bank account. I encourage anyone that cares about their business' web presence to find a different host.
Our church has been building a new website and we desperately needed an update. Richard Thrower was professional, polite, attentive, and understanding. This man deserves a raise! God bless! Awesome service!
I'd like to thank Scott and Erin Barrington of Network Solutions for their professional website development support this afternoon. They did an outstanding job of explaining the website E-Commerce services and especially Erin's interview skills in gathering all the necessary information to establish a well marketed future website for my small scented air filter business. Looking forward to seeing what they've developed in upcoming days. Thanks again to these folks for great work!
