Customer service is awesome. Love the templates provided and how easy it is to create a wesbite.
Help is available 24/7. The site design is 9 out of 10. I have been with another web designer, and Web.com is more user friendly. I would like to see availability for my email on the left side menu when I first sign in.
Always easy to use and update. Love the analytics it makes it easier for me to understand my daily goals.
When dotster merged with web.com, I've had nothing but issues with every one of my services. Though eventually several things were resolved, (after 29 days of things not working) the big one. As in not being able to receive emails has not been resolved. Currently I am at day 41 of not being able to receive emails. Several tickets, calls, etc. my patience is at it's end.
I did not choose web.com. I was a dotster customer that was forcibly merged with web.com
A year ago I was told I would no longer be receiving the discounted pricing I had previously received as a former Dotster reseller, it was made clear to me that Domain.com/Web.com no longer wanted my business, nor that of my clients. I am thus being forced to move all my domains and my clients' domains to another registrar. The support I have received has been very disappointing, and Web.com is making it very, very difficult to transfer the domains.
I don't know why I have to verify my account so regularly. I set and save a password and then a few months later get asked to verify again.
You sent me an email to check a renewal
Took 2 weeks to xfr my domain. Then emails don't work on my phone or computer. Then they want to send u to a paid service to get customer service…. Never in 20 yrs of having a domain have i ever seen this kind of hosting! Stay away!
Horrible. And they know squat!!
Price. Biggest mistake!
Refused to refund me for services I didnt order
I have been charged 5 times for services I did not order or use, they have refused to refund me and I will not use them again.
This is a message from them about a service I did not order and was charged 5 times for:
I really wish I could provide you the refund. However as per refund polices,
1. No refunds after 3 calendar days from purchase date of new products.
2. No refunds for auto-renew after 30 days from purchase date on yearly term.
3. No refunds for auto-renewal of products on four-week/monthly term.
Since web.com know about my complaint they have still refused to refund me, they basically made me sign up for something free which I never knew about and did not use the service, and when I realised these payments were being taken it was too late, no refund!
I will never use web.com again!
These horrible, greedy, deceitful bullies bought MyDomain and now they won't honor the free lifetime web forwarding which was part of the earlier service offering. That stinks. Web.com STINKS.
Products used:
Domain names forwardings
You asked me the second that I logged in. This is ridiculous. And now you require at least 50 characters...
I've had nothing but trouble with my website from not being able to update it without your intervention. And now I can't even find it on your site to update it (something happened with the conversion to web.com) and a security certificate is not updated, so my website is down
To see if my problem is resolved. It isn't
Since Web.com took over mydomain.com, I've lost most of my email and forwarding for almost all of the domains that I had registered with mydomain. Also, unable to setup credit card payment. Whole experience has been a disaster.
I didn't choose Web.com. They took over my old registrar, mydomain.com.
Its just a bit overwhelming and not very intuitive to my experience or lack of experience... I could use some guidance
I'm trying to manually renew and get error message: invalid email specified on the request. Not helpful.
I have an issue that has taken down our service for over 30 hours now, and am not getting any feedback from the web.com team about the progress or the reason why it is broken. Issue E-*******.
I really do not appreciate that you acquire a company (MyDomai.com) and do not give customers at least the same level of service (email redirect). You leave handcuffed to you, like being held hostage. Really do not appreciate. Did I say it clearly enough?
So called "Professional" email service is a joke. No catch-all support
To update my email settings
You constantly emailed me about my account payment not being up-to-date. And there was no problem with it. You seem their raised prices on the number of things. All this did come as a complete surprise to me because I had no idea that you were taking over there. I still don't know anything about your company. I keep getting emails telling me click here to see the stats of my site but when I do it leads nowhere. I was wondering if you have a site editor. I would suggest you improve your communication skills.
I can't access my marketing with Constant Contact. I am paying them and I can't cancel or do any email marketing.Web.com took over for Dotster. It has been a MONTH, no one has contacted me or helped me resolve this issue
Dotster made me take it
It is very irritating to get an email saying "it's time to renew" and it doesn't say which domain this pertains to. I end up having to login to see which domain you are talking about. - PLEASE PUT THE DOMAINS in the emails you send so I can decide if I need to attend to them.,
I didn't, I was with Dotster before the merger, they always put the domain in the emails so I knew which ones they were talking about. Your emails are very irritating the way they are now, and only make me have to login to see what you are referring to.
Thanks
After Web.com bought MyDomain and all my domains moved across to Web.com, there was no way to manage my email forwarding without using the Web.com email service. I was also charged incorrectly for two domains that were transferred to another owner last year. After several chats and promises of a refund, I'm still waiting for it. I have now moved my remaining domains to another, and cheaper, hosting platform that provides free email forwarding. Most disappointing indeed.
Customer service representatives were most polite and seemed genuine.
I didn’t. They bought MyDomain. So I had no choice.
If dotster was bad, web.com is worse. So much trouble to simply log in every time, especially as a manager for a client who doesn't have access to her personal email. Chat service is quite bad as well, compared to other sites. I'm trying my best to leave this service permanently, but it's difficult to even extract myself. Right now I'm dealing with cancelling web hosting and domain renewal that I cancelled last year through dotster. If my client hadn't noticed, she would have been charged hundreds of dollars for something that we both thought was taken care of. This is just one of many issues.
I am forced to log in again to continue the process of pulling all my information out.
Support is really poor... open a ticket 2 weeks ago... told is was fixed and closed ticket... try to respond and heard nothing.
Got on Chat today for 50 minutes... most of it waiting for responses then chat auto closed... I have 19 hosting packages and around 60 domains and really don't have hours of time to get simple issues resolved
Did choose... I was with MyDomain and was forced to become your customer...

The first month I uswed this my website would not publish! A waste of money. Trying to cancel before being charged again!
Your alert sent me to the wrong account. Now I need to find the right one.
You sent me an alert
When you send me alerts, it's often for the wrong account. You should be more precise.
You sent me an alert.
I have been trying to correct an auto renewal billing issue for a month. You have been charging my card multiple times for the same protection plan. When I call in you refund the charge and then two days later you bill my charge card again.
Would like to see more options with scheduling. I don't have the ability to allow people to create reoccurring appointments as well as confirming appointments as they are requested.
Easy to use from the domain admin perspective.
