I have been buying WEN from Ebay now for about 6 months, and I love it! My hair used to fall out but not anymore! This will be my 1st time using the auto-ship, customer service or order online. I have to say that I'm a little nervous with all the bad reviews. But I'm just dying to try the extra products that the $39.945 package comes with. As for the product itself its great and I have medium length hair, I'm 40 years old and I love my hair its healthy looking. Less split ends, Maybe it just using too much product I know if I put in 30-40 pumps of product (as suggested) my hair would be oily (I think because I don't use that much) Anyway that's my two cents.

Sorry five star reviewers, but this stuff is still over priced crap and the 'cancellation procedures' are bordering on unlawful. Wen hair conditioner made my hair feel unclean and heavy. I called to cancel. (insert customer service nightmare). Wen rep: "I cancelled your account two weeks ago and can't stop any future billings or shipments". Apparently Wen doesn't handle cancellations very well and expects you to pay them until they get tired of billing you. I think I'm about another $46.60 charge away from cancelling my card and moving.

Just to be fair wen hair care is the products. The company guthy renker is the people you deal with for customer service etc. I would imagine Chaz Dean knows about the bad customer service but maybe he doesnt. You would think if he knew he would make sure it was corrected or have another company handle for him

I ordered WEN approx 2 1/2 years ago. I accumulated too much so I called and canceled my next coming order. No problem they said. 3 months later I received another order, I called, they apologized and they assured me I was now canceled. They still charged me. No problem,, just a clerical error so I thought. 3 months later, the same thing. I called. I finally cancelled my credit card that they kept using and charging, so i thought it would end. They sent me another package 3 months later again with a threat letter of collections because my payment was denied! DUH! I called them needless to say ANGRY!. Assuring me to just pay off the last shipment and thy would get it final and closed per a supervisor. Why did I believe them? Anyways now approx 6 months later I just received another package from WEN. They have charged me again. DON'T EVER START! This is by far the worst consumer experience I have ever had!

Tip for consumers:

Complete Rip off, I ordered the special kit fromm the TV commercial, after doing that I realized that they will automatically recharge my credit card every month and send me a new order, I asked them to cancel they wouldn't do it, i called my bank and cancelled my Check Card, after several failed try to withdraw, they sent me a huge! Order that I didn't ask for, I returned it of course I had to pay for returns!, I was surprised after 2 weeks that they were able to regharge my card for about 9 $ which I never gave authorization for and having a nee card! Called them very upset the supervisor agreed on that 9 dollar, credit back and on cancelling and removing my name from the system, now I have to deal with the bank to see how they were able to get money from a new issued card! Don't even think of dealing with them, the product suck! Got dandruff, and smells bad! Be careful and don't think of trying!

Love the product, I have very heavy hair, and it makes it feel lighter. BUT the informercials are decieving. They say a trial run for $30 - not so much. They sign you into a contract. When I called to cancel they said that I owed them an additional $85. That is NOT free trial. I called my bank and stopped all payments from the company when I was told that. I got the $30 free offer. I recommend going to Amazon and buy the product that you want and dont have a contract.

How in the world do you not pay for product that you returned and notified them you were canceling? They keep saying that I owe them and will not speak English. They jabber on and on things that do not make any sense.

If you buy Wen Hair Care, you have signed up for a lifetime supply - I tried this product and it didn't work at all and my hair just always felt dirty and not clean. I threw out the product and then realized they automatically sign you up for a lifetime supply and you get billed and receive shipments over and over until you cancel it. I was shocked when I looked at my CC statement and realized they had kept on billing me over and over. I did cancel it but since I never returned the additional products I had to pay for the new products although I didn't even use it. It does turn out that to ship it back to them, you almost pay as much as just keeping the Wen products.

I would recommend that if you buy this product, IMMEDIATELY cancel your "subscription" to it right after you order it. That way if you don't like it, you don't have to fight with them getting your money back. If you do like it, then just reorder it again.

WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE.
Ordering from wen was the worst mistake I ever made. They kept sending me products I didn't reorder. When I called to speak with a sales representative, I couldn't believe how rude she was. She practically told me to I was foolish not to have read the fine print and it was my fault. I couldn't believe my ears. The product wasn't even that good. Please be careful when placing an order with this company as once they have your debit card information, they will rip you blind.

I was going to re-order Wen in a different scent, but they beat me to it! I was so steamed I practicallly spit through the phone at the customer service agent. I have a copy of my original order confirmation for a 30-day supply. Nothing more. The agent claims their website states that if they don't hear from you, they will continue to ship you the product and charge your credit card. This is tantamount to stealing my credit card. I asked for a confirmation showing I had agreed to this process and they said they couldn't provide one. I'm fairly sure this is illegal--to charge my credit card when I didn't authorize it. You should know that if you choose to order this product from Chaz Dean, Amazon or elsewhere, you won't be part of this scam, but the money is still going to Chaz Dean who is scamming people.

Horrible customer service and product! I ordered the product and was charged $34.95 received my product. I thought that I was done and if I wanted to I could order more. A month later I received another shipment and was charger $43.94. I sent the product back and paid for shipping and canceled my account. A month later I was billed again $34.95 for the product. I called customer service to figure out why I hadn't received my refund and why I was still being charged. They didn't even send out more product and no one could issue a refund for the product. I was told I would have to wait 4-6 weeks or fax the billing department. I took further action by calling my bank to dispute the charges. My bank even called the company to talk to them. My bank said that they were very unprofessional.

I called this morning to see how easy (or difficult) it would be to "cancel" if I decided to order the Wen Product. I had two options, #1 for Sales and #2 for customer service. I was NOT able to reach a customer service rep. I redialed and pressed #1 to "Order". I was immediately connected to a "sales rep". I told him I was dubious about ordering and was not interested in "repeat or automatic shipments/billings". I only wanted ONE order, PERIOD. I asked if I could use a Visa or Mastercard prepaid gift card to make my one time purchase. (The card would not have a name or billing address associated with it). He would not give me a straight answer, and insisted I could get a ONE TIME SHIPMENT. I don'[t believe them. Has anyone ever used a prepaid Visa or Mastercard? Thanks, JP

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE customer service.

I work in the hospitality field and am appalled by the way this company does business. It was like pulling teeth get a person to be nice and honest! They refused to give me a refund and continuely failed to cancel my account. And on top of that they were incredibly RUDE every time I called. Rudness must be in their employee hand book.

I definitely recommend buying this product on Amazon. NOT through their webiste!

I used this product for 8 mos does not do what they say

I should be mostly angry at myself for continuing to use this product thinking I would get a different outcome each time. I finally gave it up.

This product leaves your hair unmanageable and greasy. Your hair and scalp feels dirty by the end of the day. Seems like it attracts dirt. The almond mint has a medicinal smell to it.

Even thought they offer other scents your only shipped the almond mint:. Yuk! The expense is huge when you think that you can buy the most expensive hair salon produce for less!. Does not really save money if your not happy with it.

I stopped using it a year ago and was compelled to write this after watching the TV ad with the Miss America contestants!. Your hair will not look like anything on those commercials|. I have long colored hair that is in very good condition?. I take care of it and do not use dryers'.

I look for good products and will spend money to keep it in good condition,. From Seattle WA hope this helps you make a good decision.

Well, I went to cancel my WEN account today because as much as I like the way WEN makes my hair feel, the product gives me horrible danduff. The reason why the rate is so low is customer service. I signed up for a 34.95 a month program, but could change the shipping to whenever I wanted it to come. 1 month supply. I was told apon my cancellattion that I still owed 34.95 but had not received another shipment. WHAT?!?!?! He then told me that I signed up for a 1 time 34.95 charge for a 1 month supply then a continuing 3 month supply at a time. Which I did not sign up for. Kept telling me I was wrong and I needed to pay. I paid just to be done with WEN. I will never use them again. They are unprofessional and rude.

I opted in for the introductory offer of $9.95 plus S&H to try the product, sounded like a good price to try a product I had wanted to try anyway. Before I even had a chance to determine if I liked the product, I was already scheduled to receive a second order. Once the shipment was received, I was charged $45.53 for my second order, which I thought was over priced, so I called to cancel, only to find out I still owed $29.95 for the order. The total of my second shipment turned out to be over $100. I am soooooooooooo glad I canceled. The product doesnt make my hair feel clean and doesn't hold a style. The best advice on this site is... If you try it, cancel it as soon as your product arrives. If you like it you can always reorder it again. Otherwise, you will end up with a lot of product you don't really want at a price you can't afford in today's economy."

They charge your card and committ fraud by doing so for future orders you did not sign up for

After hearing about this product from several friends I decided to try it out. I like the cleansing conditioner, but I think I can find an even better shampoo. Especially since the price is a little expensive for a small bottle of shampoo. After ordering the product online they sent me a completely different order and charged me $20 more than the product I originally ordered. When calling customer service they said they only thing they could do would for me to send it back. I decided to keep the box full of unwanted product (I only wanted the cleansing conditioner) and not deal with the customer service or hassle of returning. This is the first time they got one over on me. The second time was a month after ordering the product my account was charged once with $44.94 and then again, same day a charge of $86.88. I called customer service to see what was going on. I did not reorder any product. They informed me that I had enrolled in auto-purchase every 30 days to receive the same expensive product. I told them to cancel everything and I would not be purchasing from this company again. No where on the form of buying the first product did it say anything about being added to auto-refill. They informed me that the money will be returned to my account in 7-14 businesses days. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! Once they have your account number they will begin charging it with over priced items and automatically enroll you in monthly auto-refills without notification. I have now learned it is best to order this product from QVC.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE they have automatically charged my account for product that i did not order. They state they cannot return the money that was charged because the order was shipped out today. I was advised that the entire process to have the product be returned and my account credited takes about 3 weeks. Do not do it. Go through amazon or ebay if you want to test the product without having your account subjected to future charges without your authorization

HOW CAN THIS EVEN BE LEGAL?
I bought online after a friend raved about what the products do for her hair (my results are less awesome). I realized I'd chosen the wrong scent and phoned them within an hour of ordering. They said nothing could be changed at that point. I tried emailing them. Don't waste your time. I didn't get a single answer to any of my four emails.
I thought I was ordering one shipment of products. NOWHERE on their site did I see any statement that they would ship a second time. Only got a shipping label with my first (and I thought ONLY) order.
Also the electronic order confirmation they sent once my order was placed showed just that ‘order confirmation.' No details. Nothing like "this is first of a minimum of four charges we are going to make to your credit card." It didn't even specify what products I'd ordered. It could have been dog food or a bag of Cheezies.
Today I got a second shipment.
First shipment was $34.95. The second shipment was $51.18 because now they're loading on the shipping charges! According to the paperwork with this second order, they are going to ship twice more@$34.95- plus more shipping- a pop
When the second shipment arrived today I tried phoning them again to cancel all future charges. I was told I can't do that. I am stuck with them until they are done with me.
I've contacted our credit card provider and withdrawn authorization for WEN to charge anything to our account. If necessary I will close this credit card account so they can't charge me any more for their over priced, under performing product.

I love the product. The problems that i have had is the crappy customer service! The other problem that i am having is that i made a 1 time catalog order and mailed the check with it. Well, that was march 17th 2013 and now it is april 6th 2013. I called my bank and they said the check was cashed but when i call to find out if they recieved anything my order and payment they deny it. How can the check be cashed but wen doesnt know where it is. Somthings fishy! If your gonna have people work for a company... you gotta make sure they have some brains and get on the same page! I told them if i dont get the products i ordered or a refund of my check that i was gonna take further action. Even if that means to get a lawyer. This crap has gotta stop. Not just for me but for everyone they have scamed. I will get to the bottom of this!

I'm updating my review. Both my husband and I find WEN a great product. We have hair growth and manageable hair. I've read some bad reviews and that's too bad because when WEN is used correctly, it works. We are people of color with kinky hair and WEN softens, moisture, strengthens ad makes our hair grow. I even use it on my body at times when showering. IT'S a GREAT product... use a stated on product. IT'S NOT a shampoo, IT'S better! As FOR service... GREAT.
DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING... NOT JUST me AND my husband love IT... so DO OUR friends.

I guess ill start with the best thing about this entire scam, the product itself is average to say the most, If you switch it up with a real shampoo every once in a while it "makes your hair APPEAR healthier" (its really not) if you don't, it just sucks on your hair all around. Then when you finally realize that the product is not worth the price and try to cancel, there is no way to do so untill you pay the entire 120$$ price. I called atleast times trying to do so, believe me, it didint work. And i even read a reveiew warning me and other of the same thing, this really is a scam, idn what "fine print" is allowed to not be told to you anymore, but this is definitely on the border of legal and illegal and if i had money to hire a lawyer, as dumb as it sounds, id be doing it. Good luck to any one that attempts to deal with thid horrible scam, hope you have better luck than me or anyone else!

Everything they are saying is true - this product STINKS! My hair felt dirty and disgusting and didn't look clean OR healthy. I cancelled my subscription and sent my product back and they continued to bill me 2 more times. I have contacted the company numerous times regarding getting my refund for product they received THREE MONTHS AGO! I finally filed a BBB Complaint and will be filing a charge back with my credit card company to get my money back. STAY AWAY FROM WEN!

I am not sure why the bad reviews. I have to admit when I first started the products, I had to learn which one was best for me and learn how to use it. First, I needed the formula for fine hair. At first you have to put a significant amount on your hair and let it sit. Rinse and do it again. The instructions tell you this. It's not shampoo and trying to treat it like it is, is your first mistake. They tell you this. It's your quick shampoo and go put this stuff is well worth the money. Over time, as my hair became more conditioned and healthier, I didn't have to leave it in as long or do multiple treatments. In fact, I could even go up to 3 days without washing my hair which is unheard of for me. As for customer service, I've not had to cancel so I can't speak for that, however; I have left bottles in hotel rooms only to freak out because I had to go back to regular shampoo. On 2 separate occasions they happily sent me bottles to get me through until next shipment... for free! What company does that these days! I have never had a problem getting them to stand behind their product. And I've called many times! A piece of advice. First, understand the product you are buying and how to use it. You may find out, it's exactly what they say it is.

Today I went to cancel my membership because I had a lot of product that was just received in June and because I wasn't too sure how the product was working it actually seemed that my hair was breaking OFF. When I call customer svs today they inform me that my grand total which would have to be paid before cancelling was $98 this company is a rip off buyer beware and I also believe the product taking my hair out stay away if you know what's good for you!

I really did NOT like the way the product (several bottles) automatically showed up at my house before I re-ordered. It was $12 to ship the box back. However I did receive my refund to my bank account within 2 weeks. If you get the trial kit just cancel your account after you get your order. The price per bottle goes up anyways after the trial. THEY ARE RUDE AND TALK TOO FAST AND LIE AND LIE AND LIE TO YOU. SORRY I EVER ORDERED ANYTHING FROM THE SCAMMERS.
