I have been buying WEN from Ebay now for about 6 months, and I love it! My hair used to fall out but not anymore! This will be my 1st time using the auto-ship, customer service or order online. I have to say that I'm a little nervous with all the bad reviews. But I'm just dying to try the extra products that the $39.945 package comes with. As for the product itself its great and I have medium length hair, I'm 40 years old and I love my hair its healthy looking. Less split ends, Maybe it just using too much product I know if I put in 30-40 pumps of product (as suggested) my hair would be oily (I think because I don't use that much) Anyway that's my two cents.
Sorry five star reviewers, but this stuff is still over priced crap and the 'cancellation procedures' are bordering on unlawful. Wen hair conditioner made my hair feel unclean and heavy. I called to cancel. (insert customer service nightmare). Wen rep: "I cancelled your account two weeks ago and can't stop any future billings or shipments". Apparently Wen doesn't handle cancellations very well and expects you to pay them until they get tired of billing you. I think I'm about another $46.60 charge away from cancelling my card and moving.
WEN is a complete scam. The 60-day money back guarantee is a joke. They do everything possible to keep your money. I placed 2 orders with them within 10 days apart to try and get the look and feel I was looking for. The products DO NOT work on African American hair. I returned the products in less than 30 days. I shipped all the products back in one box with both return slips. They credited me $39.95 for the smaller order but not the $83+ I spent on the second order. No explanation at all. So I called to find out they require you (even though it's not written any place) to return the orders separately. Why if they they are going to the same address... stupid! So now that they have the products (all of them), I have to wait for them to send me a form to complete (an affidavit) to send back and request my money back. I am so glad I returned this mess and will utilize every chance I get to discourage others from ordering from WEN. This is ridiculous. They have the products and see that they were returned. Why must I now certify that they were returned? Save your money and buy local, less expensive products that are much better for your hair.
I have to admit, at first I was a little skeptical. I read good reviews and not so good reviews. So I decided to get to the Sweet Almond Mint travel kit at Sephora to try for myself. After just one wash my hair looks and feels AMAZING! I have long hair with highlights and the ends were dry and dull. Now it's shiny and full of life! I have received so many compliments! Ladies, let's admit it, when your hair looks good you feel sexy; overall great and confident. In a few not so good reviews I read that their hair fell out. I usually brush out my hair when I apply the conditioner and TONS of hairs are left on the brush. With Wen you only need to apply the cleansing conditioner and to my amazement only about 2 or 3 strands were left on the brush!
I am now going to order it directly from the Wen website, which is cheaper than Sephora and start receiving it on a monthly basis. If you are still skeptical, like I was, I highly suggest you purchase the travel kit at Sephora to see and feel the results for yourself and once you fall in love with the Wen products you can then purchase it at the Wen website, which will save you money.
Wen hair care is a joke and rip off sure it makes your hair soft and shine but it also breaks your scalp out and in some case you lose hair! After only one week of use it my scalp broke out with sore from using this what I call expensive no good $#*! product that doesn't get your hair clean it only conditions it even though these idiots tell you its cleansing conditioner suppuse to take place of shampoo yeah right TRY AGAIN WEN CAUSE YOU FAILED AND ARE NOTHING BUT SCAM ARTIST! WEN haircare is a horrible company. We bought it ONCE. We have since been sent product and charged without our approval for three more subsequent months. We have called to cancel after each charge. EVERYTIME we were given a conformation of cancellation that our order had been canceled. I call again and they give me some bologna excuse as to why it wasn't canceled. In the fine print it says something that allows them to do this. THIS COMPANY IS UNETHICAL PLEASE DON'T BUY THEIR PRODUCT!
The website itself is very limited on you can do. Instead they prefer you call and deal with their sales reps. The product itself has been very nice, I quite like it. However after having a huge mix up with my order (short version I ended up with 7 bottles in 4 months) and some poor excuses with regards to refunds and such I decided it wasn't worth the stress to battle with them continuously. Come to find out there is no way to cancel on their website. (Once again discovering how limited their features are) I decided to call and supposedly their call center is down for the holidays though it's well and after any major holiday I'm aware of. I wondered if their call center had anything to do with my having specified "cancel" as the topic of my call. I called back to see if I claimed another response would I get someone? I called a few more times in fact because each time I got different automated directories and sometimes a phone ringing and then silence. It all was so fishy that I decided to take matters into my own hands and canceled the transactions through my bank. I refuse to do business with them again.
Due to some health problems I was experiencing my hair was dry, brittle and falling out at an alarming rate so I decided to try Wen and I'm so happy that I did and have been using it for about 6 years now.My hair is back to being thick with shine that would never be accomplished without Wen. Just FYI, don't use this website to order, try QVC or Sephora, there's no contract. I love Wen but only Chaz Deen, no Guthy Renker ads can be trusted.
I was billed for 5 cycles of wen and received only the initial shipment of one bottle and comb. They never made it right by sending me the product I paid for or by refund.
I liked the product but the customer service was beyond HORRIBLE.
The auto-ship policies are awful & trying to cancel anything is next to impossible.
I will never order from this company again!
I ordered wen hair care on June 11 and I had to call them to see when my shipment was coming and the lady told me that it was on back-order and I didn't get no email stating that but I got an email saying the money was taken out of my account and on top of that I got $#*!TY $#*! customer service over the phone. Now I am still waiting on my order. I will never order from them ever again and I will tell my friends not to order from them too. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR SATISFACTION
I had trash bags full of hair. I had to cut 8 1/2 inches of my hair off because this horrible product made my hair fall out. Have pictures of before and after. Just didn't know who to contact
Today i just find Wen.com charge me $33.94 in my discover card(6th June 2017). I just ordered one time last month(8th May 2017), i never order again, but they chager me again. Then i go to their website find they will shipping to me every 4 weeks and will charge me every 4 weeks money. But i cant cancel this order, then i send email to them but failed. They never tell me will shipping to me every 4 weeks when i made first order.
Then i want to try cancel item but no button let you cancell it, they just show me will ship to me every 4 weeks. But i cant cancel it.
I already dispute this money if they dont refund my money i will complain to BBB, i cant believe such sacm company. Full of tricks.
I ordered the starter kit not realizing it was on auto delivery. I phoned and cancelled within two days of receipt. Service was good and I received a confirmation of the cancellation.
If you dont want to be billed next month dont buy the product throught the website! Buy it on ebay or amazon or a different website that only gets you the product that you want withougt the memebership! No more getting billed! Thats what my mom did for me to try the product she got me the lavender one. And to me the product is ok the first couple of days my hair looked healthier and my hair color looked more vibrent but after so many days my hair felt really reallyy dry! So i stopped using it. And went back to regular shamphoo and conditioner. So hope this help for the ones that liked the product but dot want to get billed twice or three four times!

I HAD TO CUT IT. I CANNOT FIGURE OUT, HOW TO RESTORE MY HAIR. I AM HEARTBROKEN. I CALLED THEM, AND EXPLAINED. THEY GAVE ME MY MONEY BACK. WHO IS PAYING FOR THE DOCTOR NOW? IT HAS BEEN A WEEK. I CANNOT GET MY SCALP, BACK TO WHITE. THE PRODUCT NOT ONLY MADE MY HAIR FALL OUT. I HAD VERY THICK HAIR! IT IS SO THIN, AND MY SCALP IS SO RED. I AM IN TROUBLE, I USED THIS PRODUCT WITH WELL WATER. IT DOES NOT WORK. NOT EVEN WITH A WATER SOFTENER. I HAD SOME LEFT IN THE BOTTLE. I TESTED MY THOUGHTS. I USED HARD WATER ALONE. AND HARD WATER WITH A SOFTENER. OVERNIGHT, THEY BOTH DID NOT DISOLVE. SO IF YOU LIVE IN AN AREA WITH WELL WATER! DO NOT USE! NOW, MY SCALP LOST SO MUCH HAIR. I WORRIED! ANY SUGGESTIONS>?
After reading about the subscription scam, and having had the same experience once with another product, I will NEVER order Wen from this site. So thank you for saving me from this experience.
I agree with all the other reviews. I liked the product all right and would be happy to continue using it but the customer service is awful! They are in no way working to keep their clients or to make their clients happy. I had a package that I did not receive. I called customer service (they were rude like always, making me feel as if I were bothering them) and was told a replacement shipment was going to be sent. Instead, I got and affidavit that I needed to sign stating that I had not received my shipment (making sure I wasn't scamming them). At the time I was happy to sign the form, I wasn't lying and had not receive the package. I called customer service once again to check to see if a shipment was coming (I was a fool thinking that I still wanted to use their product) and had another battle with a rude agent. I finally got my replacement shipment and then realized I was actually charged for both. I tried to rectify the situation only to find that the company had cancelled my membership. I thought it was extremely funny. They had a sucker in me and instead of keeping me happy allowing me to spend $40 every month on their product they just cancelled my subscription. Do not do business with this company. They do not care about their clients.
Whilst cleansing Wen felt like the most luxurious product I had ever used, but unfortunately that is where it ended.
Once dried it felt similar to normal, the frizz hadn't changed, I was told by friends that my hair looked dull, I even had it cut to get rid of dead ends, but sadly it looked like the results of normal shampoo & conditioner. I have also found that it gets dirtier and greasier much quicker.
And just for the people who think that people are not following the instructions, I was so excited about using this product, the first time I did two washes and applied the Intensive Treatment. As I have hair down to my bum and didn't want to miss a strand it took me 45 minutes! I was very disappointed to have not received the promised results.
I was reluctant to try this when I saw the pre-Wen models who looked like they had been dragged through a bush backwards, including Alysa Milano, they hadn't even run a brush through any of their hair, let alone blow dried it: what a sham! When they need to exaggerate that much, alarm bells should ring!
I am in the UK and calling Customer Services wasn't a problem, She said she had cancelled it, I would not be billed any further and I would receive my refund when they receive my empty bottles back; simple! After reading such terrible reviews I am dreading the next few months... Watch this space.
I've been wanting to try this haircare line since I first heard about it. The ONLY reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is that it seemed to take a particularly long time to process my order... nearly a week. Seemed odd to me, given the direct marketing angle, I'd assumed it would be processed nearly immediately. Ordered, I think on July 2nd and just got the product today, July 11. Not bad turn around time once the order was processed, but like I said... anyhoo... the product does seem to work quite nicely. I have naturally curly hair and have always had issues with frizz and straw-like hair with the wrong products. When I would find something that would work it would stop being made. I used the cleansing conditioner, which was quite nice, and the anti-frizz styling creme... granted, I may not have used enough of the styling creme, and my hair is nice, light, curly and feels clean, but i do have frizz, which is a bit of a disappointment... it just means that I'll have to use a finishing product that I know works. All in all, if I had more spending money available to pay $30 a month to be on a subscription for haircare (it's more expensive if you dont' have the subscription) then I'd do it, but until I'm independently wealthy I'm going to have to pass for now. However, that being said, Jeremy, who was the customer service agent who helped me when i called to cancel the subscription aspect handled my call VERY professionally and VERY personably. I appreciated the way he handled the call and my request, which makes me more likely to return as a customer when I'm able to.
I like WEN alot! Ordered it yrs ago! Decided to rejoin for a while! First box $29.95 no prob! The reciept says your next pkg $29.95. Perfect right! WRONG! Juz got my second pkg over $100 bucks! I don't want that mouse and styling gel! Last time when I canceled, the lady was an absolute JERK! SHE KEPT PUSHING AND TRYING TO FORCE PRODUCTS DOWN MY THROAT! NOT ONLY THAT BUT SOUNDED MAD THAT I WAS CANCELLING! PISSED ME OFF! ITS ALL COMING BACK WHY I STOPPED LAST TIME!
I really did not like their product and thank God I came across this website so I can write a review on it. I guess all women, including me, wanted a change and try out new products. I was suckered in with their infomercial and thoughted I needed to treat myself well for Christmas. The shippment was fast, but the product was really bad. I've never once used a shampoo that was so thick and does not have any lather at all. I read some of the other reviewers saying their hair would fall off. I haven't really noticed it, but I can totally understand because if you put something so thick on your hair that does not lather, hair will be pulled off. The product does not make your hair soft, but ucky, however long I try to wash it out, it still seems like there's a layer of wax or something still in it. I will not recommend this product at all.
Since I ordered a 3 months' worth of supply, I'll just cross my fingers they'll let me go without any problems. After reading all these review, I don't think I'll even bother returning it to get a refund.
Don't know why they're still in business.

Product does nothing, had called a little after a month of having it to cancel but got billed again the next month, called in to cancel again (2nd time) and the lady said it was too late that the package was already on its way, got the package decided to keep it since it was pumpkin and I love pumpkin but cracked the seal and it smells horrible but couldn't send it back like that, next month comes and I get billed again the lady said it was for the previous package I had received and that if I wanted a refund I had to send it back, but one of the bottles was already opened so I didn't, and today I wake up with my bank account being -$30 call in and the lady says the package I had last received was a 3 month supply( first I have heard of that) and "that would be the last payment they'd take) needless to say its a scam don't do it I was a licensed cosmetologist and can tell you its too expensive its basically a really thick conditioner.
The billing is erratic, and someone at the post office has been stealing my orders, so I call and they resend my order, the lady was very nice (but I only talked to her once) so the next months shipment was also taken and I called Guthy-Ranker again, this time I got a different woman who was very rude. She could not tell me why my payments were so erratic, all she did was read off of the computer infront of her and when I asked what she meant, all she did was get mad and reread the computer, nothing different. And then she went on to tell me how it was my responsibility that someone at the post office was stealing my orders. Really? So apparently I have to pay for everyone else too. She never did tell me what the $60 charge was for when I pay $30 a month. But I will be calling the BBB, going threw Chaz Deans site to get the shampoo, and jokes on them, my card is a prepaid so if the give me trouble about not wanting to go through them anymore then I'll just cut the card off and get a new one for $3.
I just receive a wen order form in the mail. I have been watching it on tv thinking about buying the product because it sounds so great
Wen is only recommended for a specific type of hair. It is not a site that I would recommend to my clientele.
Tip for consumers:
