I ordered a product for a special event on Thursday afternoon, I paid $25.98 overnight shipping. Tracking indicated the product would be received the following Monday, the day AFTER I needed my item. A phone call to customer service did not yield any results. They simply did not care. The first representative I spoke with didn't even know whatshipping options their site offers and inisisted I selected the wrong option. She wasn't willing to refund any portion of the shipping cost. Instead she transferred me to a manager who was not in the least apologetic about the handling of my order. Her only offer to me was a $5.00 coupon towards a future purchase. Their customer service is on par with COMCAST. I would run far and wide, to do give this company your business. If you want fun, unique gifts stick with the tried and true ThinkGeek.com <----they are AMAZING!
I live in Canada and went to put an order in for one item at $29.99 and by the time they added duty and shipping the order came to $82.29! US. When I questioned the price they said it was for duty at $19.99 US. Well I contacted Canada Border and calculated the rate and the duty would be $5.79 Canadian! Are they making their own profit by charging the flat rate of $19.99? Advise all Canadian to stay away from this site.
What a snotty customer service dept. they have! I ordered a small rug then DAYS LATER it was ON SALE for more than half price and when I called about that, the Customer Service had the attitude of "oh well, too bad." I am going to UNSUBSCRIBE from them and they will never get a penny from ME EVER again! Really, don't get seduced by anything this company offers in any way. Quality is very inconsistent also. Save yourself their attitude and your money. (This is really owned by that junk company called Wireless too). Pasadena baby! Now I am going to go "unsubscribe."
I ordered several items from this catalogue. I was charged for the entire order and only half of the items arrived. When I called customer service, that experience was much worse. Rude and uninformed is the best to describe that debacle.
Item backordered, but credit card charged because they created a shipping label. 40 minute wait to reach Customer service. You will get the runaround. When promised a Refund, you will not get it.
Ordered on dec 2nd a gift for grandson, 10 days later contacted about where order is, they never shipped, was promised over night shipping, again never shipped! Tried resolving issue 4 times wa never resolved, never recieved item!
Your president trump merchandise is very offensive and disrespectful to the president and to the majority of people who voted him into office. 53% of women voted for him and since most of the people who order from catalogs are women I would say your catalog will be the biggest loser! Your catalog will go in the trash the minute it arrives at my house. Did you advertise a Hussein Obama damn it doll when he was elected? I didn't think so!
The site was just ok. Shipped a wrong item. Customer service was horrible. They were willing to let me pay for shipping the wrong item back ( crediting me later). When asked if correct item would ship before Christmas, was told, if I paid to order again then it would. After 5 minutes of talking to a supervisor, I was finally able to drag it out that the item wasn't even in stock, and they didn't know when it would be in. Returned the wrong item, waiting to see if I have to fight to get my money back.
I ordered a personalized item and received the most absolute worst customer service when I had to call them to tell them I received the wrong item. Three different people over the course of one hour that I spoke to and each one of them just as rude as the next. The one woman actually took a call from her daughter while she was supposed to be helping me! I provided them all the proof they needed of the error and they still dragged their feet on a resolution. Ultimately I spoke with the vendor they used and that vendor was more than happy to fix the problem. If What on Earth doesn't want to fix issues on personalized items than they shouldn't be selling them or so willingly taking my money.
I wanted an animated squirrel clock for my sister who is nuts about squirrels. I ordered it and got-- whatever the hell What On Earth had on hand. They sent me a See No Evil Squirrel trio. I called and asked What On Earth why on earth they had done that. There was no coherent explanation. And no apology. Why didn't they -- as did Barnes & Noble or other companies when they didn't have the product on hand-- just tell me so and cancel the order. And as my sister said, if I hadn't been visiting for Christmas I would have never known they had either deliberately or stupidly screwed up my order. Sheesh.
