Love this site, I used to buy from them back in the day when it was pretty new and not popular. I recently rediscovered it after I stumbled upon daily steals, which is awesome too but not OG like woot!

I bought a "Refurbished" and "Microsoft certified" Dell workstation from Woot. In my whole life I have bought a lot of refurbished desktop/laptop/cellphone for myself/family/or just for resale. This is the worst! It is a totally used/broken crap. It looks even older than my old desktop which has been used for more than 2 years. The fan sounds crazily noisy! It cannot restart by itself, which makes it no better than a brick cause when you try to upgrade the system it has to restart several times to finish the job, but it can't!
For such a crap when you try to return it you have to pay 15% restock fee and shipping and it already caused me 2 weeks night time. #@%*^*$%@!$&(#^@!&*(
Stay away from such a crap!

I paid this $#*! through Amazon Payment using my Amazon account. This is why I fall into this trap -- I give too much trust to Amazon! This $#*! company actually belongs to Amazon! Can you imagine that? One would expect at least it should "try" to act like Amazon, right? It acts totally the other way-- it is Amazon's flushing toilet!

I purchased a very nice TV spent a good deal of money and was very excited about it. Unfortunately when I opened my TV it wasn't the one I ordered it was a $#*!tier lower end model which could be purchased for a lot cheaper online. When I complained it was kind of like oh well you can return it or we'll refund $52, which is a slap in the face for the difference between the two TVs. And they don't care what so ever, and the TV is back on the site today for sale, which whomever buys it I warn you not to because it's probably not that TV. What kind of business practice is there, the site should be ashamed.

Only have email customer service which take 2 or more day to get an answer by email, to solve a problem may take couple of month. Never ever buy stuff from woot again.

I was lured by Amazon name affiliated and stupid enough to buy a google Pixel 2 from Woot. The box was nice, the phone looked OK. First sign something was wrong it came with the battery completely drained. Again I was stupid enough not to return it right away. The phone worked, just didn't hold charge well. After about six months it died completely. I thought OK, now the battery needs to be replaced. I purchased a new battery and did my best to replace it. Found the phone had been previously opened and something done inside. Cracked screen on the way. With the new battery- the same same story, won't turn on. Thought, maybe the screen is the problem now. Bought new screen, replaced- nothing changed. It's just copletely dead. If you are stupid enough like I am and buy something from them, examine your purchase thoroughly. If anything doesn't look perfect, just return it immediately, don't challenge your luck. Or even better don't even deal with them, because I see other people have trouble returning defective or wrong items.

Better just don't buy anything from Woot

On December 1,2020, I purchased Sunjoy A******* Audrey 60-Quart Rolling Cooler Cart, Black for my granddaughter for Christmas when we opened the box today it wasn't what I ordered it is a blue canvas wagon which I don't believe is worth what I paid. I'm seriously upset over this I feel like I got ripped off after all this was a Christmas present and it was embarrassing! Was this a bate and switch item this is so wrong! They offered me $10.00 which to me it was a slap in the face.

Tip for consumers:
Don't trust that they will send you what you ordered!

A canvas wagon that is not a cooler not anything like what was advertised and what I ordered.

You may only return an unopened product. If you open it and it does not work, you may not return or exchange it. If the company that manufactured the product will not repair or replace it, you are out of luck. I purchased an Arris SBG 6580 cable modem. It was listed as a "remanufactured" product but it was a return that was not re-set to factory settings before boxing it up for resale. I had to manually reset the unit for it to operate. The built in WiFi in unstable. It cannot be fixed. I wasted a significant amount of time any money learning that Woot is not a retail channel that I ever want to use again. Ebay provides a better guarantee.

Never received my order from March 2022. I sent two emails asking about my purchase. On July 10th I received email that I was refunded. Then I noticed unauthorized purchased attempts from my card. I canceled my card and reported Woot to the BBB.

Ordered an "unlocked" phone. It was ANYTHING but unlocked. After spending a few hours identifying the problem (this was a used phone, reconditioned but with an unpaid balance at ATT) I still have yet to hear back from Woot, who guarantees their products. One check of the general information during reconditioning would have found it was not unlocked but since it must have looked ok, it was tossed in the "SELL IT" box and I got stuck with it.

I ordered a very nice portable A/C unit, did my homework on line looked at reviews and prices and was impressed. When I received my product what I got was an older cheaper model, not even the same model number I was given on the e-mail receipt. The photo and the product I ordered and what I got were totally different. As you know they don't have a phone number to talk to someone only an e-mail. So I sent an e-mail and was basically told tough, you get what you ordered no matter what condition you receive it in. To me it was like buying a Chevrolet Camaro and upon delivery was given a Cheverolet Caviler and was told U bought a Chevrolet and that's what U get. Well if you don't have the same product call me or send me an email informing me so I can cancel it or give me a discount for a older cheaper model.

Effing terrible. I get a deal alert about Woot. I get really excited, see the deal, it's PERFECT. I sign up, place my order, get verification emails and see the charge pending on my visa account. I LOSE almost 6 hours looking for a grinder for my new toy, reading reviews, and getting my wife excited. I SHOULD have been studying for my upcoming exam. The next day, I check my account to see when the order would be shipped. Nope, nothing there. I contact their customer service, and they finally respond by saying my order was DENIED. WHAT THE HELL! Supposedly, they had "problems" with my card information. I've NEVER EVER had problems with my credit card, and they SHOULD clear the charge before sending out ANY authorization email, those bunch of TWATS.

$#*! WOOT!

To expand upon my earlier review, I have purchased from woot several times. Their return policy is TERRIBLE, and they are not responsive even when the problem is THEIR FAULT, such as when they sent me THE WRONG ITEM.

Good thing I signed in to purchase through Amazon and had a company with good service in the middle. Amazon refunded my entire purchase, whereas Woot customer service sent me away with no response.

Will I buy from them again? Occasionally. Some of their deals are great, but try shopping arround. Target, Walmart, Kohls, etc will give you similar deals (wait for a coupon or sale) on the same or similar items. Woot is OK, but often just useful for finding what a good price is before shopping elsewhere with better service.

Reasons:

- No return
- No cancelling order
- Super slow customer service responses, you asked a question it will take days for them to reply
- Super slow delivery, it takes them days or weeks for them to 'preparing shipment' and again another several days or weeks for the delivery to arrive
- Defected items, we got an cheap modem but it's not connecting to internet time to time, GOOD NEWS is, you cannot return it!

Seriously, just a few bucks cheaper does not justify been treated so badly.

Just DONT SPEND MONEY ON $#*!!

TERRIBLE BUSINESS. WARNING: They falsely advertise their products, they try to entice people with their "Limited offers", and then once you realized you were ripped off they offer no customer service and point to their FAQ over and over again.

You will see that I am not the only one here with this kind of experience.

I purchased a Video Projector on Monday. By Friday, the status on Woot.com still showed "preparing to ship." I contacted customer service, and they said they would ship the next day. On the following Monday, the status on Woot.com still showed "preparing to ship." I called, then emailed, and received the run-around treatment, and gave me a list of possible measures that "they" would take. All the while, they have my money. Doesn't the vendor usually charge the customer upon shipment of the product? So, I called and emailed again. Each time, they delay 2 more days, for no reason provided. This is not rocket science! Just send the item for which I paid. I even asked to speak with a supervisor, but that did not happen. I do not want something they think is similar. I do not want a possible refund. I do not want to wait any longer. But, that is just what they continue to do. Now, it is the end of the following week, and they insist they are making every effort to "personally" take care of my issue. BEWARE! Avoid Woot.com, unless you want to be disappointed.

Ordered 2 jackets, 1 XL and 1 S. They shipped 1 XL and 1 XXL. Resolution options because they can't fill the order with the Small as ordered:

1) get $5 refund and keep the XXL that I can't use
2) return the XXL for a refund after I spend the time boxing it up, completing the RMA process, and dropping it off at a shipping facility.

I honestly think they shipped the wrong product hoping I would take option 1 and they would get rid of a product they had excess of. There customer had to spend time dealing w/ their mistake with no compensation of any kind.

Very poor customer service.

I'm a woot-aholic. Sometimes they have crazy deals and I buy multiples to arbitrage. Shipping times could be better as well as inventory management, but overall, I love Woot!

Good luck returning a product... Or getting help with anything. It's been 2 years and I am still fighting for a computer refund. Just filed a BBB complaint. AWFUL!

We ordered a rain barrel on 11/3. It's 11/19 and it hasn't arrived so I tried to track the package. The tracking number Woot provided is WRONG. I tried on line and automated for FedEx - nothing in system. So I called FedEx and they have NOTHING shipped from Woot.

I also realized that, even though I changed our address and it's listed as the default address, Woot used our old address to ship the product -- well, they SAID they did. According to FedEx they haven't shipped it yet...

And while researching this, I realized that we ordered a t-shirt for my husband around Christmas last year and NEVER RECEIVED IT!

I'm DONE. This isn't worth the hassle!

I have purchased from Woot.com many times, and though I have never purchased any electronics from them, I have been overall happy with the toys, athletic apparel, kitchenware, and most of all the tee shirts! The big draw of this site is the artist-designed shirts, among my family of four we have a very large collection. They have in-house artists and weekly design winners (anyone is eligible to submit designs) and the prices are very reasonable. I have occasionally had an issue with quality control (for example, something printed crooked, or not quite the size that the tag indicates) and they have always resolved it quickly by either refunding or replacing the item. One caveat... when you purchase tee shirts, you have a choice of standard shirts, which are Anvil brand blanks made overseas ($7-8) or American Apparel blanks made in USA ($10-11). BUY THE AMERICAN APPAREL! The standard Anvil shirts are a weird shape, sleeves too short and angled too sharply downward so that when you lift your arms, you get big bumps on your shoulders... like little girls' puffy sleeves! In addition they get worn out pretty quickly. AA shirts better fit and better fabric.
