Love this site, I used to buy from them back in the day when it was pretty new and not popular. I recently rediscovered it after I stumbled upon daily steals, which is awesome too but not OG like woot!

Woot has one product per day in each of their Woot pages (Woot, Kid's Woot, Wine Woot, Shirt Woot). The items range from electronics to tools to toys and everything in between. Some are practical, some are fun, and some are just a waste of money.
It is worth going to the site just to read the item descriptions. They can be hilarious sometimes. Before making a purchase READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION! Some of the items are new and some are refurbished but they will always tell you.
It helps to compare the items with other sites and retailers/e-tailers to see if it is really worth it.
Shipping is $5.00 per order so purchases of more than one of the same item will still be $5.00 making the per-item price less.
I have found some amazing buys on Woot and have never had a problem with ordering, shipping, charges, or anything else.
Although based on their business model I wouldn't expect them to allow returns, their policy for defective items is what brought my rating down to only four stars. In the FAQs they try to convince the customer to return it to the manufacturer and state that if the customer has to return it to Woot, the customer is liable for the return shipping. I think this is unfair for a defective item. Other than that Woot is a great site.
Except for the fact that most of the best deals are refurbished, they are worth checking in daily to see if there is a good deal.
Works with vendors that they know can't fulfill orders.

This site is addicting, and usually has the best deals on whatever they are selling. And as an added bonus, they have a very awesome sense of humor!
Beware of buying from Woot. They do not have the same return policies as Amazon.
They have a restocking fee for large items.
I purchased an iPhone XS from this company last week. As you can see from the product description screenshot attached, it was sold as "fully unlocked". It is supposed to work with any unlocked GSM phone. However, when I received it and put my Mint Mobile SIM card into it, it showed that the phone was locked. Screenshots are attached.
Woot said they could not ship out a replacement because the phone came from a third party seller, something that was not disclosed to me at the time of purchase. Woot claims that their phones are tested and guaranteed to work before being sold. I doubt this was tested at all, because it turned out that it is locked to a carrier in the UK (another screenshot). Woot did offer me a refund if I returned it, but I would have to do it at my own expense, plus take it to a UPS store or else pay more to have them pick it up at my house. I do not drive and currently do not have a reliable phone to use Uber or Lyft on. Also, even if I did send it back, it takes forever to see a refund. So I decided to keep it and have it unlocked myself, after running the IMEI through Mint Mobile to make sure my SIM would work on it. They said that it will work once I can get the phone unlocked.
I had to pay just to find out who it is locked to. Since it's locked to a carrier overseas, nobody local can unlock it, but this online company that is somewhere not in the U.S. says they can. All in all, I paid them $76. It was either that or return the phone to these crooks and be out both the money and the phone.
Woot offered me a partial refund of $50 to keep the phone. I want them to pay for the unlocking fee, and $50 won't quite cover it. I accepted the $50 and said I'd be reporting them to the BBB (which I already did). Not expecting to see the $50 any time soon, but at least this way I will have a working phone soon and won't be out the money and the phone.
So let this be a warning. Next time I will plan ahead and buy my next phone after this one direct from Apple. Not worth this hassle to have some bucks.
I bought a product that did not work, I returned it, and 3 weeks later I am still trying to get my refund!
I bought 3 ea 24 packs of Kodak Xtralife (there is irony there) AA batteries from Woot. First 48 were OK. Last 24 were DOA. Contacted WOOT, absolutely no help.
Been Wootin for years. Great values, easy returns, good prices. What more is there to say? Start Wootin.

I ordered 4 monitors and 2 dual monitor stands from these jokers for our business that were never delivered. They don't give a $#*!.
Woot forces the customer to contact Fedex to get the packages traced, force the customer to keep on the Fedex tracers, then when the package is considered lost by Fedex tells you to contact Woot to send a replacement shipment, then Woot tells you to file a claim with the local police department and then, and only then, will they consider what to do! Such bull$#*!!
I didn't know Fedex miss-deliveries is a crime! I can't wait to see the look on the cop's face when I ask to file a police report for the missing package.
So, if you order from them you are rolling the dice. They have terrible customer service, no care at all that you ever receive your purchases, and make you do all the work, which not only eliminates any cost savings you might have gotten but cost your company money for your labor. Here is an excerpt from their last email to me:

I made the mistake of ordering shoes that did not fit properly. I suppose I should have checked the fine print. But this company bites.

Woot has great pricing, the majority of the time. The shipping is a little slow, but maybe that is because they have to batch the orders.
Products cannot be returned. I purchased from woot twice and have not been satisfied and I will never purchase from them again.

I have been buying stuff from Woot and every item that I have purchased has been great deals. I will continue buying merchandise from this site.
Tip for consumers:
If you're not satisfied with what you purchase, just give them a chance to make it right. For example. I bought a carpet cleaner and I keep it inside the box for about 3 or 6 Months, and when it came time to use it, it was broken. So I contacted Woot thinking they would give me the run around because I took so long on returning the cleaner but they took back my returned and I got my money back.
Love the design look and feel of the website. They can improve though the way that the website should work.
