Love this site, I used to buy from them back in the day when it was pretty new and not popular. I recently rediscovered it after I stumbled upon daily steals, which is awesome too but not OG like woot!

I purchased a snow blower in November, shipped to me in December used it twice the cord snapped off in a very strange way just came apart. When I sent the email to woot In January, I got the generic reply we are busy from holidays please excuse us while we catch up, I figured OK, woot usually means what they say and I figured this was being rectified only to email several other times in January getting the same generic reply.

Finally after waiting over a month, they sent me an email stating to go to the maker, I explained that unit was new and was under the net 30, they explained they do net 21 and I was past them and needed to go to the source, of course another week went by before they replied. I emailed the maker, they asked for pictures, I sent them, didn't hear back emails again and again and they finally sent me an email stating that they were sending a new cord for me to put on the unit, keep in mind the cord is a 2 piece cord, they cut it in half and sent me half of the cord, you can even connect half of a cord to the unit. *FacePalm*

Warranty will be void if I do the work and there is a chance I could connect it wrong and get electrocuted. This whole experience has made me take my business elsewhere. I have filed complaints and have written posts and plan on writing more. I am protected on my purchases. I also know there is something called the lemon law. Strange that this company does not take its customers seriously...
Don't buy it save your money. After doing my due-diligence on the company, I am not the only one who feels this way.

Keep in my mind the area we use it for is about 8x8

Now the maker is insisting I go back to the seller and after a few days the seller (woot) is now sending me back to the manufacturer. What an awesome experience woot, CLTV is something you are missing and frankly your competition will capitalize on it! Not to mention selling something that is discontinued will ultimately end up as your problem.

I just found out that the order I placed on December 14, to be delivered December 21 first, with expedited shipping for Christmas was CANCELLED! I never received an email letting me know this was the case. I gave presents as Christmas that said "sorry this is lame, you've got a really cool thing coming, but the shipping was delayed' Now, the really cool things aren't coming. NO ONE EVER TOLD ME! NO EMAIL! NO PHONE CALL! NO REFUND! ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION!

I called two days after it didn't arrive and was told that there was a back order due to the holiday, but that my order would be shipped as soon as the back order was resolved. If this was the case, why was the website not updated to reflect the fact that rush orders could not be accommodated? Why was it not updated to state that the items I ordered were no longer available. There's an entire section for that! Three weeks later, I finally got fed up and called again, only to be told the entire order had been cancelled, that two of my items probably weren't even AVAILABLE anymore, and that oh, oops, we'll have your refund for you in two to five business days.

IF I HAD NEVER CALLED I NEVER WOULD HAVE KNOWN ANYTHING AND NEVER WOULD HAVE GOTTEN A REFUND EITHER!

I AM SO FAR BEYOND ANGRY AT THIS POINT THAT DESPITE NOT BEING ABLE TO GET MANY OF YOUR PRODUCTS ANYWHERE ELSE I WILL LIKELY NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SITE AGAIN. THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE.

First, let me say, this is one of five orders from woot and the very last straw. I will NEVER order ANYTHING from this site ever again. Despite the numerous disclaimers of 5-7 business days to ship and 5-7 business days to deliver, they still cant manage to get an order to me in less than a month. They are only t-shirts people... how difficult can it possibly be to get this right. I have sent things to soldiers in war zones with more efficiency. Also, I would like to mention that these shirts are for my kids. Kids get excited about being able to pick out shirts and have them shipped to the house. It is like mini Christmas when all goes as planned. This last order was for the beginning of school. Now, my kids can get graphic tees ANYWHERE, but woot obviously does NOT appreciate that. They care little for their customers because they were completely unwilling after nearly a month to reship the missing shirt at their expense. The crazy part of all of this was, the order consisted of only two shirts. One for my Daughter, one for my Son. Woot split that massive order. Her shirt shipped 5 days before his and he got his on time, whereas hers never made it out of Carlton Tx. Silly as I am, I believe it is Woot's responsibility to make sure their shipping methods and the companies they contract, are in fact efficient and professional. Weird I know... And if their contracted companies mess up then it is Woots responsibility to rectify it by next day shipping the product or some other effort. What they did was respond to my customer service complaint (complete with the tracking information stating that the shirt went to Texas and is being sent back to woot) with an automated form letter with some placating BS about using the tracking information to find out where my order is, then the next day issued me a refund for the price of the shirt, not the shipping just the shirt. Now, my son has his shirt and my daughter (12) does not and her feelings are hurt and she will not get the shirt she had her heart set on. I didn't want my fuggin money back I wanted the shirt. My kid wanted the shirt. AWESOME JOB ON THAT SCORE WOOT. From now on, we will be ordering our unique Tees from Headline Tees or some other site.

BUYER BEWARE! I have made many attempts to let Woot get their sh*t together, but they fail on multiple accounts! Here are some of my multiple attempts purchasing through them:

1) Bought a "refurbished" Dell laptop. Didn't work correctly out of the box. Was referred to Dell for support, and Dell could not even determine that my laptop actually existed, much less was covered by the Woot service policy. After hours of calls and multiple emails, woot FINALLY agreed to take it back and give me a full refund.

2) Bought some "pleather" furniture covers. WHAT A JOKE! Slipped RIGHT off the couches they were designed for, and they were the cheapest looking things you ever saw! Returned them as defective

3) Bought six wiper blades, all of which were in stock when ordered. Woot sent confirmation that they shipped six, but the box they sent only contained four. Contacted woot, they refunded me for the missing two, with no apology or acknowledgment that they had goofed up. As a result, I have four wiper blades, which will clean HALF my windshield, and they refuse to take the others back. Nice.

4) In the SAME ORDER as #3, I received an electric smoker that looked liked it had been dropped from a plane! The control panel was broken, there was a huge dent on the front, and parts of the product were physically ripped off the unit. Woot said I could return for a full refund, or they would give me a paltry 10% price reduction if I chose to keep it. Of course, they couldnt send me another one since they were out of them.

Bottom line, if you want something that is worse than you expect, or if you want SOME of the things you ordered, then, by all means, order away with Woot! They probably will still fall short of your expectations! As for this "multiple burn" customer, no more of my money will be going to Carrollton, TX anytime soon!

Ok, so here's the story. I purchased two Xbox 360 gaming headsets for $4 each, not bad. A few days later they appear at my door, and it turns out that they were meant for PC's not Xbox 360's, so I emailed woot.com seeing what happened with the eledged "Xbox" headset.

The replied back the next day, and said they are sorry for everything, and that they are trying to buy some sort of adapters for these headsets so they work with the Xbox. So the fact that they responded that quick and sent a nice email made me impressed.

Then a week later the send me this email:

Hey xxxxx,

You know how Xbox 360s aren't the same things as PCs? Well, it turns out not everyone does.

You see, that Motorola "Xbox 360" Headset you bought from Tech. Woot on August 18th? It showed up just fine… with only a PC cable. We tried to get some adapters, twice actually… and both times they turned out to be PC cables too. We're going to try again, but it's not looking good at this point. Maybe third times the charm, right? We sure hope so, because if we get any more PC cables, we're gonna to run out of warehouse space.

Still, what really stinks is that you thought you were getting an Xbox 360 headset, and you're not. So, we'd like to offer you a $5 coupon for each headset you purchased. Sure, it won't fill the void left by all those tirades you planned to unleash on your Modern Warfare opponents, but we think it'll help. And if you ever choose to venture into the realm of PC gaming, you're one piece closer to being fully equipped.

Keeping it PC as always,
Woot!

------------

So now, I don't even care about the mistake. This email made me love Woot.com. Customer Service = 20/10. And the best part is that I get to keep the headsets, with 0 charge :).

This is outrageous. It's my first and last time ordering from Woot. The Viewsonic monitor was on sale for an irresistible price, even for a refurbished model, so I ordered one and almost ordered two. I wasn't happy that I was going to have to wait two weeks for delivery, but for the price, I was willing to wait even though I needed ti sooner.

I ordered it on April 21 and Woot charged my credit card on April 22. However on April 24, Woot CANCELLED the order and refunded my credit card, but NEVER TOLD me. I've searched my email. There were lots of advertisements, but nothing about canceling the order.

It was scheduled to arrive today, May 7. When I checked my Woot order page, it showed it being delivered today and that it was "Preparing for Shipment". There's nothing to indicate it was canceled nearly two weeks ago. It wasn't until I went to the Order Details page and scrolled to the bottom that I saw that the purchase price had been refunded. There was nothing about the order being canceled. I had to phone Woot to learn that. The customer service guy acted like it was routine. I wonder how many people this happens to?

To add to the insult, Wood took money out of my charge account and held it for two days. It wasn't a big problem for me, but for someone who doesn't pay off their credit card balance every month, it would result in additional interest charges. This is outrageous. I'm wondering now whether this is one way Woot makes money, by selling more items than they have, holding purchasers' money for a few days, and then canceling orders on the excess orders?

I've attached a screenshot of the Woot order page today, nearly two weeks after the order was canceled. This is a terrible way to run a business.

I've been shopping online since the 1990s. I've never had an experience like this. I won't be ordering from Woot again. I've been an Amazon customer since 2000 and expected more from a company Amazon owns.

Tip for consumers:
Don't believe Woot when they give a delivery date and charge your credit card. You may wait a few weeks only to learn that Woot canceled the order weeks before and never told you.

I was for years an avid "Wooter". Staying up late waiting to see what kind of deal might be coming, hoping there'd be a "Bag of Crap" that I could buy before the servers broke, and hitting the refresh button to see the new item during a "Woot! Off" when the previous finally sold out. I've purchased odd items, remanufactured items, and even new items. The site is no longer happy-go-lucky-nerdy-fun. It is now very corporate since being owned by Amazon and filled with fine print that doesn't explicitly state things you'd expect. So, I purchased a set of golf clubs (vastly different than the funky electronics of yore) but hey, it's Woot! Right? The price was fine, about $30 cheaper than $#*!'s Sporting Goods and I was in no hurry for delivery. I bought them on January 2,2014. Here we are, August 3,2015 and they've begun to fail. I reached out to TaylorMade the manufacturer and they confirmed the failure was something they would cover under warranty. I just needed a receipt from an "Authorized Reseller". As you guessed it, Woot! Is not an authorized reseller of TaylorMade products, in fact, the mothership Amazon is not either. So, I went back to my Woot! Order to see what's up. Nothing in BIG BOLD letters read, "Hey! We're not authorized to sell these so the manufacturer's warranty is invalid." Rather it read, "New Item" instead of remanufactured. So, like most intelligent people I suspected that by purchasing something new I was protected as any other consumer from the manufacturer. Rather, Woot! Offered a 90 day warranty. I can assure you now that giving up 21 months of warranty was NOT worth the $30 savings. So, while you may still find something worthwhile, be sure to guarantee you are getting the manufacturer's warranty (unless of course you're buying something remanufactured or refurbished, in that case you get what you get right!). In my case, I'm left with something that the manufacturer says is a failure but they have an out and I still would have 6 months left on the warranty otherwise. I have been a Woot! Shopper since the beginning, I've recommended them to friends who have made many purchases as well. I can say this now with certainty... I won't make any more purchases from them going forward.

Lost delivery; FedEx acknowledges; gave Woot FedEx contact info; off-shore DinashKumar tells me it is my fault FedEx lost package.

I explained in detail in first message to Woot's non-existent customer service that FedEx Ground had acknowledged the package was shown as delivered but the driver admitted that he had not delivered it to us and could not explain where it was. I even gave Woot the name, telephone number, and location of the FedEx Ground Supervisor, which fake-name customer service Dinesh Kumar CLEARLY IGNORED. This is going in to a BBB complaint right now and is going to be published to show the absolute lack of courtesy and total lack of intelligence on the part of the fools that Woot hires! Next time Woot should read the bloody message first before sending an inane response!

AGAIN: FedEx contact: [redacted], Manager, FedEx Ground [redacted] MA xxxxxx, tel. 508-xxx-xxxx

I am also filing a complaint to Bank of America to reverse the charges on the credit
