I have just purchased my first WorldSIM card and the product is exactly what I am looking for. A real must for any world traveller. Daniel from customer support has been extremely helpful and supportive. A great experience!
World sim is useless, did not work in either New Zealand or Canada. Contacted customer support and received some instructions which I followed without success. I tried calling the help line numerous times with no answer. I ended up buying local sims in New Zealand and Canada. World sim is a useless product do not buy
Navigating through world sim's website to top up my sim proved to be a bit tricky but with Daniel's assistance I got all the help I needed very quickly. Thank you!
Purchased in April for June trip and could never get device to work with Customer Service. Multiple "chats", emails, on-line inquiries - waste of time. Requested that new device be sent; however was told "have to confirm device is defective". Technical Support was to contact me (today, still waiting for that call). Requested full refund in mid- May since had to rent a device for trip. No response so inquired status update in July; their response: "Thank you for waiting. Your refund request is rejected by the accounting department because the Order is out of refund/return period." What happened to 6-month warranty as posted on website? HORRIBLE PRODUCT; HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE; HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
I have had one of my worst customer experience with them. Either their sales representatives are totally uninformed or they are totally misleading. I purchased an ATT plan for the US. However, when I got there I found out that I could only connect to T-Mobile 2G network. 3G and 4G don't work at all! When I contacted their customer service I was told that I have been given a sim that supports only T-Mobile. I asked them about why was I given a T-Mobile sim but got no replies. Another representative simply told me "your phone doesn't support 3G or 4G on ATT". I told him that I had specifically asked if 3G would work on my phone on ATT (As I already know that ATT doesn't support 4G on OnePlus 3) and the sales rep. Had said that "Yes, 3G will definitely work". But customer support simply asked me to mail the sales rep who never replied to any of my emails. Now I'm stuck in a new country without any internet and with a loss of $25. My advice would be to stay away from these people!
Hello Anmol,
We humbly apologize for the inconvenience you have faced during your international travels.
We appreciate for bringing this issue to our attention. We have contacted the concerned sales representative and we will revert asap.
We are grateful for your patience on the same,
WorldSIM Support
Service is very bad, and for the price it is cheaper to buy a local SIM Card. I spent a month in South Africa and the SIM and my data bundles worked for no more than 5 days, I spent the rest of the time reporting my issues to their help desk. Would not reccomend.
I agreed with all the reviews on the service part, I sum them up as "BEYOND HORRIBLE" The customer service must be provided by a third party providers call center, person who answered the call has no clues on every questions were asked. WorldSIM need to get their acts together if the company wants to survive in this competitive industry.
I have been trying to get the correct international roaming SIM card for my travelling for over 6 years! It wasn't until the purchase of Worldsim roaming SIM card that I finally was fitted with this and now I make international call with a very affordable price and much cheaper than the previous ones. I could never say that I did not like it because I did.
I paid for NEXT DAY SHIPPING since i would be flying so I needed the item ASAP. Worldsim sent an email shortly after - they shipped it TWO DAY shipping, I contacted them right away to fix or cancel since it would not arrive in time. They did not listen. I came back 2 weeks later from our trip and the fedex envelope on my porch said TWO day ship on it and it was soaking wet, envelope was open I dont even know if the sim was inside but it was crawling with ants all over it was revolting I could not touch it. WorldSim did NOT fulfill my order as I paid, they stole my money and have refused to refund me saying they passed it onto Manager- its been a month and no response. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
Hello M E.,
Please accept our sincerest apologies. We can't even imagine how much mental anguish you must have felt on your return. We will at once begin with the refund procedure. We need to just receive the SIM Card to substantiate your claim. If possible can you kindly look into the person who receive the sim card? The Card is always sent with proper packaging from our end. It is shocking to hear that it was sent to you in such a destitute state/poor condition.
Kindly take the pain to send your Mobile number/Ticket number to customerservice@worldsim.com (mentioning the ticket number as the SUBJECT LINE)
Best regards,
WorldSIM Support
I have been using WorldSim for at least four years, and have always had frustration with it. But, lately I had a very bad experience. I got new SIM cards and I made two very short (20 second each) calls just to test if the system was working while I was in Ethiopia. For these I got charged US$30, which put my account into arrears by about $5 and they suspended my service. When I eventually, after about two days of back and forth with the help chat service, got it resolved they said this was correct. They initially said that I was using the wrong local system and should have put '00' in front of the number... but they eventually said that the charges were correct. After complaining they said they would credit my account by $15, which they have never done, now after two weeks and even contacting them about it. So, they left me without service in a country where there is a state of emergency and then never kept their word. I am very very unhappy with the whole program, even after buying an expensive router (the 'tri') and even a digital watch, which was also very disappointing.
Once again, another Great Experience with WorldSIM Online Assistance.
Nancy, who was my helper, was very patient with my questions on my Replacement SIM activation process.
Thanks to Nancy, I am very happy and satisfied with the quality of their Help Services.
Thanks.
Roaming was simply like a nightmare for me because long stay in flight and international call rates. For previous 6 months, I have been using Worldsim global roaming SIM card, I got some relief as their SIM has a USA no, too for receiving calls and it was really a great relief for mu USA colleagues because they had to pay a lot calling to my UK no. But with the Virtual Number feature I added lot of countries local number and business got to a new dimension because guys now hesitate to talk with me even with a little affair and more perfection comes toward my business. Thanks WorldSIM.
I tested the product in my home country with no problem, I've now travelled to 5 different countries with multiple networks available only to be greeted with "Emergency Calls Only" I've ended up having to get a local SIM card each time
Excellent product, allows me to use anywhere in the world without buying local SIM. The rates are excellent, and you can put on auto pilot by enrolling in auto charge. Being using it for over 3 years
Very efficiently assited by the Support (Jonathan), I could solve my difficulties in managing two different SimCards. In case I have any further difficulty, I am sure i will get appropriate help from you.
This place is a scam! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING. I bought a portable internet device and it does not work. Their customer service is horrible, won't help you and keep giving you the run around. The numbers of customer service are no longer in service and they are SCAMMERS! I have lost my money and my patience.

I have been assisted by Nancy with a high level of service. She took care of my requests and did her best to solve my issues. Thanks for all, kind Nancy.
My worst experience so far has been with Tri-Fi -- Worldsim's Wi-Fi (Mi-Fi) router. I bought it bona fide, trusting the statement Worldsim makes on its website, namely that "All of these MiFi devices are unlocked so you can use any SIM card inside." Unfortunately, this is not true for the Tri-Fi. It connects to the Internet only with the Worldsim data SIM. I requested to know how I can UNLOCK it, but received an automatic reply how to configure the device. I need to use the device locally, and Worldsim's data SIM is useless for this. My $27 credit evaporated after about 10 minutes roaming, which is quite unacceptable.
I got assistance from WorldSIM manager Matt and was happy with the result of our conversation that allowed me to buy the product matching my needs. Thank you.
The WorldSIM DUET is a perfect device. But you have to be connected to the partner provider. Which was impossible for me at the place I am just now. Will give it a chance later on.
No satisfying way of dealing with a problem. I think I have 30 confirmation emails whether I chat on line, send an email to Worldsim or enter a message on their contact us website.

Nancy was very helpful and answeres all of my questions regarding the specifics or worldsim. I expect this will improve my travel communication experience
I couldn't make an important international call in central america. Nancy helped me quickly and professionally. I'm happy with the service that she gave me.
What an amazing service, wonderful support team. Daniel was so helpful few minutes ago to explain has easy it is to topup my account, retrieve my usa number. Guys, keep up the good work
I travel a lot and have experimented with a variety of different SIM card/connectivity options. WorldSIM is by far the worst. Even if this is your last option, it would be better to travel without connectivity than to expose your personal information (name, credit card, email address) to these scammers. Shame on me for not reading reviews before I bought. Complications have been legion, starting with a late delivery (even though I asked and paid for overnight service); a refusal to refund the overnight service fee; hours and hours on the phone and "help chat" trying to secure the promised services; rectify billing mistakes; etc. Set up alone took three hours, thanks to extremely poor directions, and I'm a fairly tech-savvy person.
Save yourself the headache as well as the anxiety about what this sham of a company might do with your personal information.
(If you are reading through reviews, please note that recent positive reviews are all very short with no detail, and that a large spate of positive reviews were posted on the same day last year--both of which make me believe that WorldSIM is scamming the review system too.)
I signed up for the WorldSim about a year ago when going for around the world trip. Except few little issues like not being able to receive a call even if your network was available I did not have any major problems until Feb 2017. The WorldSim has decided to change their terms and conditions for previously purchased sim cards. They didn't bother too much to inform their customers either no notification sms. Now one day out of the blue (Feb 2017) I got a bill 15$ for a 7 minutes incoming call which should have been previously free. At that time I did not know that there has been changes to terms and conditions so naturally I contacted WorldSim to see what's happened. After number of exchanged emails and month later there still wasn't a clear answer from WorldSim. Simply they said that I was charged correctly. So my conclusion is they will show you the rates as per today and you'll be happy using world sim wherever you go. However, one day they will change terms and conditions for your sim cards. I know it sounds surreal but it is like this. Now I am stacked on the other side of the world with basically none functional sim card which charges you 2$ per minute incoming call. You would not expect this type of behavior from a legitimate company...
Tip for consumers:
Look for an alternative company.
On my recent trip, that I made to China was really one worth to share. On my way there, I felt like to get a roaming SIM card, I managed to purchase the WorldSIM international roaming sim card. When I landed in China, I inserted the SIM card and decided to have a try calling to my UK home. It had $10 preloaded. When I talked, the voice quality was very clear and heard the other end very sharp. Returning from China, I saved the SIM card for the next trip. As I am satisfied with this network.
